Leslie Ewing: My daughter had her initial visit which went great, the hygienist was amazing and the dentist himself was okay. When scheduling the follow-up cavity fillings we were scheduled right away but then the day before got called telling us it needed to be rescheduled because the doctor would not be in the office that day, after rescheduling it for the following week we then got a call again the day before telling us that they were just canceling. Mind you I had already asked for this time off of work so that was a huge inconvenience. But then not being rescheduled again I had to call and leave messages at least five different times and I still have not been rescheduled. Nobody ever answers the phone at Lansing location it seems let alone calls you back. So far not so great.

Leonard Smith: I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby after my scheduled appointment time had passed. I then was supposed to get 4 wisdom teeth removed but they did not have the proper equipment so only 3 was removed. The doctor had already cut my gums on that side. The stitches in my mouth where so long they where poking me causing discomfort. During the surgery I chocked several times because the assistant who had the suction did not do a good job. The doctor even had to tell her to be faster. After my surgery the office never put in my prescription so I had to go a whole day in pain with no meds to help. In addition to all this they only allow Saturday appointments for some reason.

After waiting over a month for an available appointment I get called a few hours before to say my appointment, as the oral hygienist is sick which I understand, but they offer no solution or offer to fit me in, this is unacceptable as they are the ones who cancelled on me. The receptionist is rude and unhelpful. Would avoid

Krista Cox: I used to love healthy smiles!My cleanings with Felicia are so enjoyable. However, in March my retainers broke and I went in to the office for orthodontic visit to try to find a solution. I was never contacted back but went in for a cleaning a May. I asked about the results and to see if a solution was available. I was told I’d be followed up with but unfortunately I was never contacted.I called to leave a message a week after that to see if there was a retainer solution available. Nobody called back.I sent an email on May 22, no follow up.I called and spoke to one front office person (J) and was promised I’d receive a call back the same day. No call back.I called a week later and spoke to another front desk person (A) and she also promised she’d call me back that same day. No call back.I sent another email this morning. No follow up.I have made it perfectly clear that if Healthy Smiles can’t make me a retainer it’s 100% fine but I need to know since they have my scans from March before my teeth shifted and my teeth have now shifted which is painful and now no matter where I go for a retainer my front teeth will have a gap which causes self esteem issues and anxiety.I feel really sad to post this because prior to the orthodontic experience I would have recommended Healthy Smiles to any and everyone. 😔 if you just need a simple cleaning though it’s still clean, fast and pleasant.

Healthy Smiles cost nothing out of pocket for me and the attention to detail for my first visit was great. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. The facility was clean. Everything seemed to move like clockwork. And Dr Ewing was very detailed in doing the exam. Look forward to going back!

Kay: I honestly can not believe that Dr Ewing is still treating patients. Thanks to him my child is now in extreme pain and in need of expensive dental work because he either can't read an x-ray or is just too old to be working. When I was told by my friend that she heard that Dr. Ewing just moved to yet another dental office. We both could not believe he is even allowed to practice. Not only did he not make me aware of the multiple areas of decay my son had and just basically forgot to do his job as my sons dentist. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN MY SONS NEW DENTIST SAW MY SONS X-RAYS FROM THE PAST FEW YEARS HE COULD CLEARLY SEE THE MULTIPLE CAVITIES MY SON HAD FROM OVER A YEAR AGO. However Dr. Ewing NEVER saw those cavities which obviously leads to believe he can't see or read an x-ray or just did not care enough about my son to tell me about these cavities. He even told me at his last 2 dental cleanings that he made the cavity free club. How did that happen?? Especially when his new dentist has clearly shown me on his x-rays the areas of decay from over a year ago on my sons x-rays?? And I am not the only person who is now questioning his competency as my friend had a crown Dr. Ewing botched 3 times only to find out by her current dentist now that she had work not completed or in need of being redone because of work not properly done. The only thing Dr. Ewing has going for him is he is a nice soft spoken old man. Which I bought into when I met him and why I did continue to trust him. But my trust was shattered due to my sons current situation which could have been easily avoided had Dr. Ewing provided proper care. And I hold him and him alone responsible for my sons current issues. This is a clear warning to anyone who sees Dr. Ewing beware and make sure to get a second opinion because he should not be seeing patients at his age.

Rabin KC: I frequent Campus Dental Care since last two years.I first visited the place with an infection on my gums surrounding my left lower canine tooth. Dr. Kaumani at that time quickly got me into antibiotics, and scheduled for a deep root cleaning, as this was the first time I had any professional tooth cleaning done.The cleanings had to be done in 2 visits, and the total (I am guessing) after my insurance was only around 100 dollars. You This included several xrays, and the total cleaning. I was very happy with the oral hygenist who performed it.You do not need to fill the forms, the receptionist (Heather I think at that time) will take care of everything if you have a dental insurance.I have done 3-4 cleanings after the first visit, all was smooth, except for one time when a newbie was very rough with the cleaning. But one thing I appreciate about this establishment is that they got rid of her next time I visited them. Surely they have some standards, at least that is the impression I have of them.Satisfied so far, I decided to go with a crown installation for my compromised molar which I had RCT done 15 years ago. Dr. Koumani did it himself, but the work was subpar, I think. He sanded my tooth ( I donot know the actual dental jargon) that had no problems just to adjust the crown he fitted. I was sad about it, and the crown broke into three pieces in 2 months! I was tempted to leave the establishment at that point.However, recently, I had to visit them because of the broken crown and i realised some changes.Dr. Paresh Patel is now the owner of the practice, and he is a very thorough, kind spoken, and knowledgable dentist. He communciated as he worked, very clearly and patiently, with me (as a patient) and with his assistant (as a mentor).Dr. Patel did several procedures, taking utmost care and time just to get the crown correct, and I came in a week later to put my new crown. Again, he was very thorough and took care of each and every minute details, which I much appreciate.They DID NOT charge me any extra costs, which I most welcome, and the crown so far is doing good, and I have no problems whatsoever with it. If this were to change, I will update it in this review.Hence, the five stars are all theirs, for their deligient and meticulous work, with no extra charges! The free parking in the lot is a huge bonus as well!My friend who went there on my recommendation is happy as well, and I surely and wholehartedly recommend Campus Dental Care!

nelly franklin: I got my wisdom tooth removed here. I am from out-of-state so I was debating on just waiting until break to go get it removed, but the pain became too much to bear. Everyone was so friendly and the doctor who removed my wisdom was so kind, professional, and caring. My tooth was a difficult one, but they remained calm during the procedure. The pain after the numbing wore off was terrible (as expected), but now on day 2 it is not bad at all, just a little ache. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

The receptionist set up an appointment really fast & convenient.She will let you know how much your out of pocket after insurance before making any appointment, and the price is very reasonable.After general exam & x-ray, I got my wisdom teeth pulled 4 days ago. The extraction process is really fast, and I leave the clinic with a little to no pain. No swelling whatsoever until today.I appreciate how capable and excellent Dr. Kamouni in taking care of his patient.The clinic itself is also very clean and cozy 👍

Adilynn Leforge: I needed to have a root canal done. They got me in for my initial visit quickly, found an infection and got me antibiotics the same day. They got me in for the root canal a couple days later! They have done a great job so far! Getting my crown putting on today! They also checked my insurance on the spot to be able to tell me cost, what was covered, and how much I'd pay out of pocket, right on the spot! I cant tell you how happy I am! These are good people here and I would strongly recommend!
