I assure you that contrary to other reviews they provided gauze and proper aftercare, including follow up phone calls. Definitely recommend as a professional office for dental procedures.

Lacey Peterson: I had to have one of my wisdom teeth extracted. They got me in fairly quick. Everything was straight forward. Their website is VERY informative! Answered a lot of my questions without me having to call them. Their paperwork was easy to fill out and I loved that it was all done online!Dr. Faber and his staff were very kind. I was very nervous. But they eased my fears and talked me through everything. Also I had an IV done. I usually faint or get tunnel vision with getting an IV.The girl who did them did a FANTASTIC job! It didn’t bother me at all! I didn’t even bruise.They also called to check on me and see how I was doing, which was VERY much appreciated! I was worried because I was bleeding a lot but they let me know that was typical the first day and should slow by the next day, which it did. The pain and swelling were minimal.Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with this office! Happy and healing well! Definitely would recommend going here!

Their billing is pretty inefficient, the only way they can get a hold of you is invoices via mail? I think there are more effective ways to do so in this time and age. Dialing numbers can go a long way. Good effort by your team guys👍. If you are paying out pocket this may be the place to be for you.

Diana Lutz: I am very sad to give just one star in this review. Especially since the doctor was excellent. We had Dr Novelli and he was outstanding! Great bedside manners , great communication, excellent in his work and knowledge. This review is for the Grand Rapids office.BUTThe office staff is the worst. Absolutely incompetent.Prior to the appointment I had done my research.I contacted my insurance and was well informed about coverage.I had called the the office to give me a price estimate.I was informed my pay would be between 400 to 700 dollars.Upon arrival we were ignored.It took a good five minutes to get greeted.After my son was already taken to the room and the procedure got started, I was informed to meet with the billing person.I had to provide signatures to paperwork I was never shown or offered to read. All under the cover of covid.I was informed that I owe 1300 dollars.Right away I made the person aware that this is not the amount I was told on the phone. Since I speak with an accent, she replied I must have just not understood right.Discrimination of the finest.I was forced to pay $1300.Surgery went well and again, Dr. Novelli even made a point to come out to the parking lot where I had to wait to inform me about the procedure.Recovery went well. No complaints.The procedure took place in October.I contacted the office and the insurance many many times.Finally in Dec the office made the claim and my insurance proceeded to work on it. With the result that the office owes me $706.After several more calls now I still have not gotten my money back.It's been three months now. Still no money.That is just not right.The billing lady should have contacted my insurance company prior to find out my coverage. I should have been taken serious.But none of this happened.So long story short: and the moral is:If you have extra money to throw away, go there.If you live on a budget, run! Run fast and far!

Parker Haskin: This is for the Grand Rapids/Cascade office that is part of Oral Surgery Associates of Lansing.I had a bad experience. Plain and simple. They removed 4 wisdom teeth and the operation went fine and the teeth were successfully removed. The part that is making me write a bad review is that they didn't give me any information about anything that they were doing and the way they treated me post op was iffy.Yes, I'm an adult and can ask my questions but I shouldn't have had to in this situation. The oral surgeon at this location DOES NOT use gauze in his work and I would have loved to have known this beforehand. I assumed all surgeons did but as I have learned they are not required to and this one did not. No gauze led to me swallowing more blood than I would have with gauze and I vomited this blood everywhere outside of their office.Next, according to my caretaker for the day I was not in an OK physical state to be discharged when they brought me out. Their office has denied this and said that I passed all the criteria needed to release me but no such test was done where my caretaker could also see that I was ok to be released. She said I couldn't form words or move my limbs yet I somehow stated my name, date, etc. as part of their criteria.Lastly, the nurses did not explain to my caretaker or myself before I was put under anesthesia about what to do post operation. They handed her a sheet of paper and said, "Read the instructions" with no further explanation. Poor patient care in my honest opinion. I wrote them a letter explaining all of this and the surgeon called me and was abrasive and showed little empathy for what I was experiencing.

MOUNTAIN: Today I had to have one of my back teeth pulled . My Appointment was withDR Ezio F.Novelli,D.D.S.,M.D. This facility was easy to find. The people at the front desk were calming, helpful ,and comforting. Now, Dr, Novelli, and his nurse, Nicole. I felt so taken care of by both of these Professionals. I presented them with a difficult situation. I couldn't ask for a better experience. 5 Stars to everyone, that cared for me. Dr Flynn had xrays taken and then did a very thorough examination. He was kind and encouraged questions. He took his time to listen well as my friend explained her pain and issues. ..my friend was very pleased with the outcome of this appointment. There was no need for surgery as her wisdom teeth are very strong. Thank you Dr Flynn and wonderful staff.

Fely Dewey: Called them in advance for an appointment so I could make an arrangement with my work. Surgery was scheduled and a few days of leave already approved when they called me that they had to cancel or reschedule my appointment to a different date.I had to request for another date(unpaid time off because my paid time off was wasted for the date they canceled). I was disappointed but that doesn’t change the fact that they were all amazing, from their receptionists to surgical assistants, they were all wonderful. Dr. Flynn was so kind making sure I was comfortable. The process was painless and my experience was great. Beautiful people with good hearts are inside their office.

Sierra C: I got my wisdom tooth surgery here and it was not a good experience. I had bruising all across my arms from them slapping my arm trying to get a vein for an IV. Additionally they didn't drain the area properly which lead to an ear infection that made it extremely painful. It took 3 years before I stopped having lingering pain

They called dr.Flynn’s office and they told me to head right over, for an emergency extraction. The staff was amazing and dr. Flynn was so kind. I was terrified but they did such a great job and trying to keep me calm and the extraction itself truly was painless. I hope I never have to have another molar pulled but if I do, I’ll ask to be referred here!

Kay: I was supposed to have my wisdom tooth surgery done here. I scheduled a few weeks ago and took time off work and my partner took 2.5 days off as well. I went in for my consultation on Monday. Dr. Schiro is a friendly and professional man. He seems to be very knowledgeable and made me feel more comfortable about the surgery. But after my consultation, I was told that my surgery would be $466.40 after insurance; I said okay. A few minutes after leaving, I was called and told it’d be $666.40 because they forgot to add something. That was a bit more than I had but I managed to come up with the additional $200. So I call today to let them know and to confirm the price. I think everything is all set and I’m stocking up on soft foods for my surgery tomorrow. Then, another call. Surgery was miscalculated again and it’s actually going to be $1250. So, I cancelled. It’s just the unprofessionalism for me by the billing party. All bills were expected to be paid tomorrow. So, imagine what my shock would’ve been tomorrow after my surgery when they told me, a recent college graduate who is not made of money yet, what the actual cost was. Even once I come up with the funds, I’ll look for somewhere else to do my surgery. I don’t trust that $1250 is the final price, so I don’t want to put money aside for that only to be told “sorry, it’s going to be $2400 with insurance.”

Porter Enterprise LLC: I'm usually terrified of the dentist, needles, or anyone messing around inside my mouth. But the experience wasn't bad at all. They got me in really quick with an appointment and everyone was super friendly and made me feel at ease. For having 2 wisdom teeth taken out it wasn't bad at all. I just went back today after I week to get my stitches out. Before I could even realize he was actually going to start taking them out he had both stitches out. I was thinking to myself there is no way he has them out already and with absolutely no pain. But sure enough he had them out in seconds. Definitely would recommend this place, especially to those who are scared of the dentist lol. Dr. Shiro also has a great sense of humor which is a huge added bonus.

Savannah Maat: This was back in summer I just forgot to write a review sooner*Although the people who performed my tooth extraction were very kind, I encountered a distressing experience a week later. In the middle of the night, one of my stitches broke, and my mouth started to bleed profusely. Despite leaving a voicemail on the emergency hotline and at the office around 6:30 am, I received no response. When I called again at 8:15 am, the receptionist was confused and asked why I had not called earlier. I explained that I had called and left a voicemail, which had been ignored. Eventually, I was able to see the doctors and nurses who were once again very nice and professional, but the entire ordeal left me upset and questioning the purpose of an emergency number that fails to respond promptly.

From the office staff in front to Dr. Beckman and Dr. Pack, I went from having three teeth which were totally decayed and destroyed and causing me intense pain to no pain and ready for implants, which they referred me over to Advanced Dental Care in Lansing, also a great office, to get my final procedure done. Michael Armistead: I just had my wisdom teeth pulled today. I was pretty surprised by how little communication happened at my appointment; as soon as I sat in the chair, they were small talking each other while they were hooking me up to their machines. I had a very brief conversation with a surgeon about information on my registration form, and I was VERY surprised that no one made a comment about this being my first surgery where I’m administered anesthesia (I wasn’t able to get a consultation, as my teeth were already impacted and my dentist urged me to get them removed as soon as I could). My friends all described to me a distinct point where their anesthesiologist let them know when they were administering the gas (“count down from ten” or “are you ready?”) - I was in the middle of a small-talk conversation with him about my studies when I got knocked out.I wound up having a very negative reaction to the anesthesia. Had a pretty bad anxiety attack, and I don’t get those often. Couldn’t breathe, uncontrollable crying, shaking knees. These side affects didn’t subside until hours after I got home.This was my first ever surgical operation, and I’ll say, I’m pretty surprised and disappointed by the experience. The experience was pretty traumatizing for me and my family that went, and I don’t think I’ll be following up with them. You would think that a team of healthcare professionals who are performing an operation on you would at least make an effort to inform you of the process, give information as they’re prepping and avoid surprising their patient. I could probably find better healthcare at ACE Hardware - I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had to call them multiple times because they would not/could not seem to work with my insurance company and I had to be the middleman. The office staff are short and condescending with their patients and do not give all of the information you need. Simple questions are treated with impatience, disdain and derision. I think they forget that most of their clients do not work in the industry. I dealt with this not only on the phone with them but saw it first hand with other clients while waiting in their office.The oral surgeon we met with was nice but we will not be back.

My daughter had an appointment last Friday, granted we were 10 minutes last but i called to inform the office about us arriving a few minutes late. When we arrived we wee turned away, the receptionist said we had to reschedule because we were 10 minutes late. She never checked the voicemail because if she did she would have called to inform us that we would have to reschedule. I was furious!!!! I work in an office that have a 15 minute grace period, an i was very offended bein that I work in a dentist office as well. Needless to say we were never informed prior to scheduling that if we were 10 minutes late we would be reschedule. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY RUDE STAFF!!!!!!! NEVER GO HERE THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THEY WILL TURN YOU AWAY AFTER 10 MINUTES!!!

I had reschedule 3 times due to a different health issue my son was dealing with, they were courteous and understanding each time. Dr. Pack made my son feel at ease. They listened to my concerns and answered my follow up questions. My son experienced some minor discomfort, nothing the ibuprofen and Tylenol couldn’t handle. He had no bruising or swelling, but we did follow the aftercare instructions very closely. I will be bringing my daughter here when she needs her wisdom teeth out as well.

Kristi Petroff: Poor customer service. I understand we have a pandemic to manage, but that shouldn't be an excuse for poor customer service. I received a voicemail on Friday about my daughter's wisdom teeth surgery today, but because the office is closed on Fridays, I had no way to speak to anyone in the office and ask questions. When we got there, it took some time for them to rework payment since it had been over a year since our last visit when that could have been done before we got there. Then I'm made to sit in my car and burn my gas, after they had already taken me into the waiting room, gotten my temperature and payment of course. I'm told to park in the handicap spot for them to bring out my daughter to the parking lot post surgery. I was never given any oral instructions on how to care for her after the surgery. Just a piece of paper. They need new management or a better way to explain things to people.

Mark Beckman performed my actual extractions, and he was wonderful! He thoroughly explained what was happening every step of the way, continued to make sure I was comfortable - and really just made it as positive of an experience as it could be. 11/10 would recommend.
