Dunkin': what do users think?
Abby Roberts: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sausage Egg and Cheese, Bagels, DonutsMore
Daiah williams: poor customer service
Emma Myers: Russell is so kind!
Alicia Randolph: Stopped at this location while passing through early in the morning. Russell was great, but seemed like he was there alone during prime coffee time. As someone who has worked at a coffee shop, early mornings are the worst and can be super stressful- I can’t imagine doing it by myself. Rating 1 star for poor management, but 5 stars for Russell somehow doing it alone and for the fresh breakfast.
Mick S: I’ve been going here everyday for over a year. My iced coffee started at $3.38, then went up to $3.59, and today it is $3.81. Most of the time my drink isn’t made correctly and now I’m paying more for it?! I’ll start going to the Okemos location and pay $3.38 and my coffee will be made properly.
Danielle Hull: Donuts are tiny and disgusting. Hardly any filling. Crunchy outside really sucks when you're expecting a nice soft mouthful. I felt obligated to eat the whole donut and It made a tear come to my eyes with every bite I took. 😭😭😭 Never againFood: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Jacob B: They were all extremely rude, arguing with eachother thru the speaker, they said they had no expresso ? It looks very dirty in there and my food tasted terrible. I work in customet service so i always give the benefit of the doubt and I never write reviews, but this was not it lmao
Julie Powers: Service was very polite but really slow. The iced coffee with sweet cold foam came out with chocolate foam because they ran out (and didn't ask if it was ok to substitute until they were handing it out the window). The biscuit bites are very small and more bread stick dough than biscuit. The dogs loved them.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes …More
Thurman Payton: The staff is inept. Even during a fairly slow time, I order ahead 10 minutes and they are surprised and start my order when I come to the drive thru. The okemos store is unusually efficient compared to this one
Jason Pollard: Order was perfect, several different things all were correct . Russell is here on a busy Sunday around 730am working the entire store alone. Drive thru and inside juggling everything. . Hes doing one amazing job dealing with all of that alone. 10 stars for Russell .Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Gabrielle: The staff here is very rude and the service is slow. We just ordered two drinks and two sandwiches and the amount of attitude we received was ridiculous. They also always claim to be out of everything on their menu.
Bruce Ellison: They are doing what they can with what they are given. Thank you for your service.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
robert henderson: Out of glazed donuts and munchkins...
Erika Nehil-Puleo: I just got a sandwich from here. Along with other things spending around $21.The eggs were cold, cheese wasn't melted and toast was still cold.
Asha Hope: I went in and was greeted. Then they walked in back and never attended to me. They ignored my calls for assistance. I will never understand why companies hire lazy people for night shift. Never returningFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Paul Rinella: The coffee is good. Just prefer ScootersFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
erin dobbs: didn’t even make the remake correctly.
Phil Damico: I don't know why but it never fails when u go to the Dunkin donuts by frandor that your order is ALWAYS wrong. This time I asked for the pancake sandwich with no cheese. Even said so on the receipt. Half way home we saw cheese on it and went back. Told the cashier and I was.pokiye about it. She walked to the end and said,"this guy came all the way back cause there's cheese on this."..............I still remained calm and walked to the end of the other two workers and just politely said I didn't wanna take any more pain meds for ingesting dairy products. Those two were ok about it.I don't ever go here, was with someone actually. Also I never see the same employees here clearly a huge turnover. Always younger kids too.Quality is poor at best and orders are always wrong. Not worth it.
wlslindsay1 Wilson: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Maliah Czachowrski: The employees here are rude and the last couple times I've been here the order has been completely wrong, don't waste your time stopping here
Satya Pingali: Very Slow and rude service and they don’t even have bread to make the order.

Groovy Donuts: what do users think?
Sara: Friendly service..donuts were a bit dry and pricey, though.
Lisa Myers: This donut shop is awesome!! You gotta get there early, but it is definitely worth it. My husband loves the apple fritters. The coffee is fresh and hot. Really great place.
Aaron Nanos: The Donuts are delicious and the staff is super helpful.
Jeanye Williamson: Seem to be never open
Mel: This is going to be our new birthday tradition. Who wants a cake when you can get donuts!? Everyone at the party loved these!
Ashton Thompson: By far, these are the best donuts in this area
Brooke Mcilroy: Amazing donut selection, staff is always friendly.
V. and R. Lounds: Good quality and service. Please make a sour cream glazed Dunk-stick no one in town makes a good one.
Brenda Baugher: The huge donut was a hit with our daughter for her Bday! So cute and the custard filling was amazing! Our Vegan family was also happy with their Vegan donuts❣️ Thank you!
Eli K: Vegan donuts! An assortment of “plain” vegan donuts. Glazed, cinnamon, glazed with sprinkles, etc.Staff was friendly and accommodating. :)
flo lucas: Awesome donuts!
Julie Powers: I'm giving this place 5 ⭐ even though the customer service was a 3, at best. I get it, paczki season is stressful and people in this area are very particular about their preferred treats. The ghost of Roma Bakery lingers over all who try to achieve their level of perfection (because it's all in our memories).Outside of the absolute disaster that was pick up for pre-orders during Mardi Gras, the donuts are delicious every time.
Michael Sherman: Expensive!A bit overcooked for my taste.
paul waters: Bakegoods are delicious and the staff outstanding.
nick lavigne: Don’t go here. Customer service is appalling. Which is a crazy thing to say about a doughnut shop. Their online pre-ordering system allowed for a 7:30 am pickup but when I tried to get my order the person running the store accused me of being illiterate. Then she proceeded to berate me about it, saying that she couldn’t have compassion for me if I can’t read. My phone with the order pulled up on it clearly said 7 to 9 am pickup. I don’t have a problem reading, they have a junk ordering system and a horrible person working the counter. I never leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it.
Robin S: Love the donuts here, and the staff are always kind and helpful.
The Pies the Limit: It's okay. We arrived at 10am on a Saturday and they were all out of coffee.Ordered a variety of 6 donuts, they tasted okay, not bad, but also not great. The box they came in was cute.
Jeannie Klein-Gordon: Great place for donuts. Bought a few dozen to thank staff at my child's child care center during holidays. We were told they were well liked. They smelled delicious!
Andrew Hinman: Best doughnuts and service in the area
Jason Ormond: The Donuts are great, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Todd Vander Galien: Great home town donut shop

Stephanie Marie: Despite what some of the other reviews say, there is no drive through here. There is a donut display and some coffee. Donuts are great!!
Kim Bilodeau: Best coffee on the planet.
Jerry Gross: Broke down there
Don Cox II: Good donuts, don't care of the coffee as much, but GOOD donuts!
Kevin McCreary: Don’t be fooled by the drive through line, it’s faster than you’d imagine.

Aaron Nanos: Quick service and the staff at this location are always very kind.
NC Waystation: Hahaha. This store is hilarious! Very nice people working here. But it's a donut shop with no donuts! LoL And they don't seem to have the capability to make donuts! Very odd.

Asha Hope: Great and quick service. They were super busy but had it down. We dash so maybe they can add a Dasher space so we can pickup quicker. ThanksFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
kevin rojas: The cashier wouldn’t let me adjust or change my order BEFORE I had even paid. I had changed my mind about an item and asked that it be removed because I no longer wanted it. The cashier told me “we already started making it we can’t do that.” I said “I haven’t paid yet. I don’t want it. Please, take it off.” He said “no, we can’t do that.” In a spirited debate, he adamantly claimed “The customer is NOT always right.” I reassured him that I would not be paying for an item I do not want.Abysmal customer service 👎
Sammy: Terrible service who didn't come to serve us and left us waiting with no one else in the store and gave us the wrong order anyways.Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …More
Hanna Marcus: This store has horrible customer service.
Bill Lynch: Place could use some serious cleaning, (windows filthy,) food handling areas appeared fine! Staff was friendly, and coffee and cruellers as good as always!
James Austin: We think they water down the frosting for donuts. It’s so light you can see through it. Almost like a glaze rather than a frosting. It’s pretty disingenuous to cheat your customers in order to save a few bucks. 👎
Patrick Shaffmaster: Fast friendly service. Typical menu items. Apple fritters were great.
Aaliyah Haqqi: Unlike In frandor these guys have breakfast sandwiches, working ovens, quicker and shorter line. so I come here to get breakfast sandwiches and coffee, the staff is very friendly, I've not had an issue with them. They tend to run out of their donuts pretty fast and the one time they did have the one I wanted it(one left), it was stale so I didn't get it.
Lauren: They gave me the wrong order, but they’re a new store and it was my first experience there. I’m sure it was just a one time thing! It’s a great location and the workers are nice, it was just a little mishap (and I didn’t double check my drink, so it was my fault).I’ll be most likely be going there again, but with a little more caution on my end.
Sheila Hutton: Excellent service and Donuts.
Big J: Good stuff!!
Markus Manderfield: Cold brew Coffee on tap
Bryce Haley: Ants in my donuts.
alejandro bertofernan: good donuts. love the vanilla nut taps
Meg Clem: The employees here are super nice! There is a great selection of coffee and food and they’ve hit the spot every time. It’s great to finally have a donut shop so close to campus! There’s veggie options and beyond meat here, too. 3
Marc Van Gulick: This is a top notch corporate store with all the latest coffee technology. I love the tabs for all the different brews.

Strange Matter Coffee: what do users think?
Trevor Benoit: Their commitment to quality shines through in every cup. The coffee is expertly crafted, offering a variety of unique and flavorful brews. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The attention to detail extends to their delectable donuts and snacks. The dedication to sustainability and supporting local producers is commendable. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply in need of a cozy space to enjoy a delicious cup of chai, Strange Matter Coffee is an absolute must-visit.
Under Ach1ever83: Others may enjoy their coffee, but their black drip coffee tastes burned, and it's expansive for the size of the coffee. It's a trendy little place, but if you just need a black coffee you might want to look elsewhere. I'm sure they have other great coffee drinks though I didn't try them.I bought a couple donuts for my coworker's and they liked them a lot.
Gwenavre Chaffee: A beautiful establishment with caring, gracious staff and owners. I'm so glad I can call this my neighborhood coffee shop.Parking: Some parking on the street in front of the business and a parking lot around back. Disabled parking available around back.
Emily Frankman: My favorite coffee place in Lansing. Had my first date with my now spouse at their original location. Wrote much of my dissertation at one of their tables! Now we bring our toddler to enjoy her own “kid’s steamer” and annoy the other customers (sorry!). What would I be without Strange Matter?!? Delicious coffee and baked goods, friendly staff, and I am so supportive of the owners’ local and inclusive initiatives. I visit it often and will continue to get my coffee and vegan donuts here.
Eric N.: Best coffee and donuts in the area, and an awesome vibe! I never miss a change to stop by Strange Matter for a latte and donut (or two or three).Recommended dishes Gluten Friendly Vegan Cake Doughnuts, Latte and Chocolate Sprinkle Donut, Great Place for Coffee, Cinnamon Roll V, Double Shot of Espresso, Vegan Boston Creme Donut, Latte and Cinnamon Donut, Pour over Coffee, Scone, Donuts …More
Estelle Matthews: One of the best coffee places I’ve ever been to. The staff is so kind.
Dani Graham: My absolute favorite coffee shop in the Lansing area! so many delicious drink options and an incredible variety of baked goods (majority of which are vegan, while also being the tastiest donuts i’ve ever had!). We’ll drive the 15mins to Strange Matter over the starbucks on the corner any day to support a business with great values & a want to better the community. I can’t say enough good things - every experience there has been wonderful. is it busy and hard to find a spot to sit? yes, but that’s just what happens when a place is popular! they have an online order a head option which we like to opt for. drinks are always ready when we arrive and staff is always wonderful!Dietary restrictions: plentiful vegan options available

Mitten Raised: what do users think?
Claire Belmont: Cute Cafe! I took out breakfast but will be back sometime to try some of their cookies and other goodies.
Michelle Benson: It's such a cute spot! I've seen it for years, but I never realized they had gluten-free options or more than pastries. I got the El Rito without the wrap, and it was amazing! Everything else was closed, and this was the only place I could find that was open.Plenty of seating, some cozy. I'll be back!
Glutz: These bagel sandwiches, or the hearty spartys i think they are called are the BEST. Staff was nice, food was quick. The indoor seating is nice. will come back for sure
Joseph Beasley: Katie is Awesome!! Very helpful and kind staff.
Aaron Frank: Delicious. Best breakfast in East Lansing!
Kendra Miller: Mitten Raised was our baker for our wedding back in November and they did a fantastic job! People still rave to us about the dessert we had at the wedding months later. We did donuts, cookies, and pie shooters! Katie was great to work with and did a fantastic job at setting up the desserts.
Alana Retzer Brinker: This is MY FAVORITE PLACE. The cookies and brownies are amazing, despite them being better known for their donuts. My favorite is the Oh-do brownie, with Oreos and cookie dough in it, and the butterscotch oatmeal cookie, and the campfire cookie (made to look like a campfire!). I'm a tea gal and love their chai tea latte, made with Tazo concentrate. They also have a bunch of creative coffees that sound so fun except that I don't like coffee. They also have a great food menu. They have things that people who are trying to "eat healthy" would like, but they still actually taste good. My favorite is the el rito, and the breslin burrito, and I love that I can get tator tots here as well, since who doesn't love those!?
Chris Glassman: An East Lansing staple for tasty breakfast sandwiches, wild and sugary donuts, and local coffee with creative flavors. It’s also a great spot to get some work done!
Officer Paw Patrol: Cool city vibe for a bakery. Quality of the food is great. I got a few cinnamon rolls to go which were really nice and large. Prices were average and I didn’t feel like I was paying inflated campus prices. Only downside was the cashier who had zero patience. I asked her if the cinnamon rolls had cream cheese frosting or regular icing and she quickly snapped back “I don’t know, I guess you’ll find out”.
Doug Kohler: The food here was amazing!! The waffle sandwich hit the spot and the breakfast wrap was a flavor explosion. The atmosphere here is good, but I think the best thing was the cinnamon roll. Probably the best I’ve ever had!
Glenn Erickson: The coffee is great, and the dessert cookies are amazing!
Will Gilbert: Have been to this place 4 times in the last month. Only able to purchase what I was looking for(Cinnamon rolls) once. How are you a bakery and run out of a staple by 10am? Won't be returning. Not worth the trip to be disappointed.
Mark Jaeger: Their menu is limited, but the food is tasty. Due to staffing shortages, they are only open for limited hours, and closed Monday through Wednesday.
Jessie Blume: Five stars for quality and creativeness. I enjoyed my donuts. They were a bit pricey... but we enjoyed them!
Glenda Wilson: I love this place
Glenn Freeman: We used mitten raised for our wedding and we couldn't have made a better decision. It made it so easy with all the cookies individually wrapped and we had 5 different options for guests to choose from. Family & friends couldn't stop raving about them. Katie and her team were very easy to work with to place the order well ahead of time and the day I was planned to pick them up, they were all there waiting for me, freshly baked. I highly recommend Mitten raised whether your catering or just looking for a delicious treat. Also if you're thinking about getting the Seinfeld cookie, pick up double what you planned on. Thank you Mitten Raised for the amazing cookies and phenomenal service.
A KWM: Got a cake for my daughters birthday. Flavors were good, decoration was gorgeous, cake is so dense and the filling/frosting is insanely sugary. Granted, I bought it online and never tasted, I went out on a limb with a new company. So, I wouldn’t rule it out but I might order in person and be more specific. When I picked up, there were lots of tasty looking treats under the glass.
Vincent Marinelli: Cute place with amazing donuts! Definitely going again
Waverly Jennings: My boyfriend and I loved mitten raised. The hearty sparty was our favorite breakfast on the weekends and the flavored cold brew drinks were amazing - they still are. However, for how often we went, our order always seemed to take the longest even though we’re ordering for just 2. People behind us were getting their orders before us. One time I was given a coffee coupon for drinks I never order, which I guess was a nice gesture for having to wait 25 minutes for my order. Their hours are horrible also. Lastly, neither my boyfriend or I were able to get cakes for our birthdays. I reached out in October for my boyfriends end of December birthday and was told they were too backed up and weren’t taking any custom orders in December. We will definitely be limiting our visits here from now on.
Hannah Wilson: Without a doubt one of my favorite places to meet up with friends or to study. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Locally owned. It’s not solely a donut shop, but I rarely walk out without a donut…for sure some of the best in the area! Truly if you’re in East Lansing- this should be on your list of places to try!
