Mitchell's Fish Market: what do users think?
Sarah Vandenboss: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
keife duffy: The food was tasty and the drinks as well. But I can't say it justifies the price at all, especially with the portion size.
Don Zenker: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Spicy Crispy Shrimp, Fresh Oysters on the Half Shell, Key Lime Pie, Crispy Calamari, Whitefish, Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Fish and ChipsMore
Lisa LAD: Tried their new sandwhich, seafood. It was horrible and I didn't even eat 1/2. When asked by the waiter, I told him. He said "Let me try and get this taken off for you". He couldn't do that apparantly because we were charged full price. That's OK, I have a lot of other options for places to eat in the Eastwood Town Center, and I will be doing so in the future. Did not leave here with a "good taste" in my mouth. Even giving me 1/2 off to show they value my business would have had me not hesitate to re-visit another time, but not now....
Rebecca Santelli: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Spicy Crispy Shrimp, Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lotMore

Elizabeth Mestelle: We had reservations for noon and were seated immediately. The restaurant was really busy with large parties for University graduations, but service was amazing. This was my first visit and I was really impressed. The food was hot and delicious. We were not rushed by anyone yet our every need was taken care of quickly. I hope to return again soon.Parking: Ample parking was available both in front of and beside the restaurant. There was convenient curbside drop-off right at the front door too.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, so very wheelchair friendly.
Tina Adams: Environment was welcoming. Scallops and lobster were a bit tough, steak wasnt seasoned, and menu options are overpriced for what you get.
Brenda Pattison: My son brought me here for my birthday dinner. We were lucky and seated at a booth but the tables in the middle were too close together. I watched people trying to push their chairs out to get in or out and could barely do so because the tables were packed in like sardines and there was no room for people to move around or try to get through. My son ordered lobster bisque which I admit I've never had but I thought it would be something other than liquid soup with nothing else in it. There was not one piece of seafood anywhere and maybe it's supposed to be that way but it did not taste good at all and it was lukewarm. The crab cake that he had was unlike any crab cake I've ever had! It was wretched, and did not taste like crab in any way, shape or form. I actually wondered if it was going bad or something. His shrimp was way way over cooked and tough. I had lobster and it was okay but again it didn't really have much taste and the portions were tiny, three bites tops. I didn't expect to get a large portion with lobster but come on. The asparagus was good, although we were each only given three pieces, and I wanted to order a salad but I refuse to pay another $9 or 10 for a side salad that would normally come with a meal in an expensive restaurant like this. I don't normally post reviews but this was really bad and really expensive.
Katrina Kaufman: Celebrated MSU Graduation 5/5/23 with family and friends and the manager referred to us as COLOREDS. As a local resident with family and friends in town for the graduation the use of such a word in 2023 not only is racist but an embarrassment for the Lansing area. I often eat here and this comment has made the food no longer pleasant. @MitchellsFM your staff need Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training immediately.

The shrimp skewers had zero seasoning. Not worth trying again.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Debbie c: Awesome Okemos!. Real busy. But I got everything I was looking for!
saurabh shegokar: Good place to shop for groceries, they do have a nice bakery inside, tiramisu pasty is a must try option there, apart from that you can try short cake. Parking is in the front and wheelchair accessible.
Carla Walker: The variety of options is impressive. I love their sesame chicken with an egg roll. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.
Jay M: Expensive, but they had everything I needed. Wish they had more goat milk and yogurt options.
Teres Cunningham: This place is FULL of options! Their dinner bar is fantastic! I love the Butternut Squash Lasagna and the Chicken breast. They had an excellent beef stew, and the vegetable bar is outstanding as well.If you're not looking for already cooked, try the fresh veggies and the seafood sections... there are just too many to name here!I love shopping in this store for just about anything, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lev Raphael: Love this store for many reasons, starting with the super-friendly staff. The meats are terrific, the veggies and fruits ditto, the breads are to die for (try Seeduction!), and the range of wines is impressive. I've never been disappointed with a purchase here.
John David Lewis: They have great healthy options and other things you don't think about
Bonnie Ward: I Love Whole Foods! Such a great variety of fresh foods and knowledgeable people working there. I love the salad and dinner bar!
Spencer Israel: Whole Foods hot food bar is a favorite of mine! It is a perfect lunch stop. The variety of options is impressive. I love their sesame chicken with an egg roll. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend Whole Foods' hot food bar for anyone looking for a quick, easy, and tasty lunch option!"
Canan Dirican: Nice market, but prices are too high
Mary Avery: Great customer services. Prices are high. Out of what I went for.
Gus Breymann: Its deli and bread sections at the far end of the store are unexceptional. I'd buy more deli selections if the food in the trays appeared fresher and if there was greater variety. Store staff are helpful overall. We never have to wait long to check out.
Nichole Olson: I only went in to drop an Amazon return off, but it was quick & easy!
robert henderson: Very clean and everyone is always helpful and nice.
Karlis Austrins: The cafe does not serve food anymore.
Garrett Bartholomew: Absolutely love this store. They always have the freshest produce and the nicest employees!! Highly recommended!!
Laser Etching Etcetera (Laser Etching): Didn't buy much, a little too much money for what I wanted
Evie L: Great customer service! Always clean. Good food.
Jim Baldwin: It's always a great place for hard to find items.
Cynthia Cornell: Whole foods is usually a good place to come to buy higher end products. I was a little disappointed today because I specifically went there for their fresh mango salsa which is to die for!! But they didn't have any fresh mangoes 😞Next week I'll try a different location...
Laurie Dennis: $$$

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Michael Matkowski: They are unfortunately not following the return policy outlined by the company. Had receipt and unopened item. Was willing to accept cash or store credit but told that it could only be refunded to the card (not an option for me). Forced to keep the item. Asked if there was any other way to return it or if I could speak to a manager and was told that she was a manager and nothing could be done to rectify the situation. Will not be shopping there again unless it is rectified by the company and will be spreading this information among friends here in East Lansing (will update if this is corrected by customer service).
heroangel20: Nice place but you really have to go on the right day at the right time, otherwise youll be hard pressed to find everything you want. if you go at the right time, the place is awesome.
Brian Moore: Although Fresh Thyme Market had a decent selection of quality produce, I gave them 2 stars because they did not have actual cashiers working their checkout lanes. I begrudgingly used the self checkout, but will avoid ever returning to this store because of this lack of basic service.
A S: Enjoyable shopping experience. Friendly staff. A little bit of everything. Cashiers replaced with self-checkout.
Gary Fredericks: I don’t know if they’re under new management or what but the produce here is AWFUL anymore! It’s all moldy and wilted. Last Sunday I couldn’t find even ONE bell pepper that didn’t resemble a wrinkled raisin and they were all mushy. Their apples are unfit for deer bait. Even the stuff that spears good seems to rot within two days. Cauliflower, good luck finding done without black mold on it. Also, they went to all self checkout. Im just done with this place. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years here and now I’ll be moving on to the other farmers market on the west side of one of the other produce sellers in Lansing.
Shean . Z: I and my family have been shopping at this store for almost 20 years (before some of their employees were born) but since they started the Self Check Out I, my family and my colleagues rarely go to this place and I recommend it to others not go! Employees at self-checking look at all your items one by one and think that all the people who go there are thieves!!! It’s been a few times this issue has happened to me and my Coworkers and we really are sorry for this place to have such a weak management Because we have never seen such disgusting behavior anywhere. I don't even need your special discounts and with the two months profit of my business I can buy your entire shop! Before you judge customers as thieves, try to understand who they are and where they come from.
Joseph Beasley: Beautiful store with friendly staff and excellent leadership!!
Tracy Symanzik: Little pricey for not in sale items, but very nice and clean. Lots of fresh produces.
J and B: Worst experience ever! Bought over $200 of groceries, had to scan every item. No check out open! Only self check out! Lady watched me like a hawk while scanned every item! So overpriced! Not worth it!
Robert Hughes: I’ll take my business to Whole Foods in the future. After driving 40 minutes for a specific item in the deli I discovered that department doesn’t open until 10am and no one was willing to help me. Rather than wait around for another 30 minutes for that one item I put all of my items back and left. I’ll drive a little further to WF- at least I can get consistent service there.
Kathie Maurer: Clean, convenient and well supplied. Friendly and helpful staff⁰
Heather Joseph: I will never shop here again.....they need to update their website!!!!!!!!
Steve Underwood: Nice alternative to Kroger, Meijer and, if I can't get across town, to Horrocks.
Crystle Parker: Great variety of products. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable.
Phillis Mullins: I don't like the fact that they have only self-checkout
Sylvia Lin: Came in only to buy some local corns but there were many awesome looking produces that we ended up picking up way 4 bags of groceries!
Crissy: Great produce sales. Grocery staples are more expensive than other local grocery stores. The self-serve soup is not fresh.
Barbara Montes: Nice looking store but not enough organic foods and way overpriced.
Mary Avery: Love this store great sales. Staff helpful. Has a fresh meat counter. Great produce especially when on sale. So glad yesterday that a delightful person checked me out.
Ted K: I went there from work at noon hoping to pick up a sandwich and some fruit. After the lady next to me took my place in line (the line went all the way into the aisle and she said she was at the end of the line and I was not even in line) for the self scanning, I looked for a cashier at noon on Wednesday. No cashiers, self scan only. Long lines for self scanning. I left without purchasing anything because scanning is not my job! Other than that, the store displays looked nice.
Ben Eysselinck: Really good selection of goods, and a great grocery store alternative to Amazon type stores. Friendly folks and good food with great deals if you check their flyers.

I've had a little trouble finding things, but the staff has always been super helpful, even during check-out. My favorite things to get here are bao (frozen or saran wrapped when they have it), anko/koshi-an, frozen eel, and new snacks/sweets to try out.

Meijer: what do users think?

Tonya B: What a difference a zip code makes!
Geraldine Smith: It was pretty good but of course I wrote out a list I forgot to put dryer sheets on it so now I got to go back tomorrow
Michael Brown: I wish Meijer didn't close at midnight, other than that this Meijer is way cleaner then the other 2 in Lansing. Way cleaner! Also you can shop and not feel like your doing something wrong when your just browsing, I don't feel " watched" persė, and that feeling always makes me feel uncomfortable.(like some of lansings finer establishments.)
Marion A: Limited productOnly 2 cashier's ringing
Keith Nelson: Great Meijer. Its noticeably better than many other Meijer in the area. Kudos to the leadership team.
Charity Cole: Do not like ot after the remodel.
Debra Kipper: Went got my shot they was so nice when she did it and everything clean..
