Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Natalie May: Amazing selection but so expensive. First time in a whole foods and was impressing with organic selection.
Debbie c: Awesome Okemos!. Real busy. But I got everything I was looking for!
saurabh shegokar: Good place to shop for groceries, they do have a nice bakery inside, tiramisu pasty is a must try option there, apart from that you can try short cake. Parking is in the front and wheelchair accessible.
Carla Walker: The variety of options is impressive. I love their sesame chicken with an egg roll. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.
Jay M: Expensive, but they had everything I needed. Wish they had more goat milk and yogurt options.
Teres Cunningham: This place is FULL of options! Their dinner bar is fantastic! I love the Butternut Squash Lasagna and the Chicken breast. They had an excellent beef stew, and the vegetable bar is outstanding as well.If you're not looking for already cooked, try the fresh veggies and the seafood sections... there are just too many to name here!I love shopping in this store for just about anything, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lev Raphael: Love this store for many reasons, starting with the super-friendly staff. The meats are terrific, the veggies and fruits ditto, the breads are to die for (try Seeduction!), and the range of wines is impressive. I've never been disappointed with a purchase here.
John David Lewis: They have great healthy options and other things you don't think about
Bonnie Ward: I Love Whole Foods! Such a great variety of fresh foods and knowledgeable people working there. I love the salad and dinner bar!
Spencer Israel: Whole Foods hot food bar is a favorite of mine! It is a perfect lunch stop. The variety of options is impressive. I love their sesame chicken with an egg roll. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend Whole Foods' hot food bar for anyone looking for a quick, easy, and tasty lunch option!"
Canan Dirican: Nice market, but prices are too high
Mary Avery: Great customer services. Prices are high. Out of what I went for.
Gus Breymann: Its deli and bread sections at the far end of the store are unexceptional. I'd buy more deli selections if the food in the trays appeared fresher and if there was greater variety. Store staff are helpful overall. We never have to wait long to check out.
Nichole Olson: I only went in to drop an Amazon return off, but it was quick & easy!
robert henderson: Very clean and everyone is always helpful and nice.
Karlis Austrins: The cafe does not serve food anymore.
Garrett Bartholomew: Absolutely love this store. They always have the freshest produce and the nicest employees!! Highly recommended!!
Laser Etching Etcetera (Laser Etching): Didn't buy much, a little too much money for what I wanted
Evie L: Great customer service! Always clean. Good food.
Jim Baldwin: It's always a great place for hard to find items.
Cynthia Cornell: Whole foods is usually a good place to come to buy higher end products. I was a little disappointed today because I specifically went there for their fresh mango salsa which is to die for!! But they didn't have any fresh mangoes 😞Next week I'll try a different location...

Kroger: what do users think?
Adam Simmer: I've always loved Krogers.
Mark Winkelman: If you value your time and money, do not go to this Kroger, at 443 Mall Ct. in Lansing. Their prices are much higher than other Krogers in the area. And they are ridiculously understaffed. We went on a Sunday afternoon, not one of the cashier assisted lines were open. People had to use self check out with many items in their cart. The self check out kiosks kept telling me I was over the limit. And help had to come. But the store had one worker, she looked like about 15 years old, and she was running back and forth to all of these registers. The scanners kept saying to put the item on the table that weighs the product, but that didn't work and therefore another delay. And finally there is this store manager who claimed he couldn't help because the 15 yo had the only code to clear errors! Seriously? So if she goes on break and a self scanner goes down everyone waits until she's back from break? What a joke
Jenni Taylor: Just went to Kroger and it was absolutly ridiculous as always. Line was wrapped around the store no workers in site yet again. All the lanes were closed. I'm done going here and spending money at this place!
Steve B: This is the hometown krogers. Give you the old school vibe with all of the good new products. We love going shopping here 4ourfamily.
Joseph Beasley: Elissa and Shay helped me tremendously today with my purchase!!They Very attentive and demonstrated diverse product knowledge with helping orchestrating my purchase! Also if you are ever in the bakery/deli ask for Samson!!He is has already provided a high level of customer service every time I’ve stopped in for a purchase!!
Tony Colbert: Always near and orderly.
Delores J. Yearby: They were friendly.
Bruce Byrne's: Not enough Staffing should give a discount for self check out greedy companies.
Island Ewert: This Kroger is really a closet Kroger. Wouldn't recommend going to this unless you really have to.
AmarieB Lansing: Frandor East location. This location has nothing in a cohesive style so you just have to go back and forth to figure out what is where and usually it's not there. Poor selection and store layout.Prices are jacked way over the awesome Lake Lansing Kroger location.
THOMAS V: No checkout open, what a joke
Kristina McConnell: Cockroaches in the bottle return... Will never shop here again
C Madill: This place is a dump. It smelled like an old bar when smoking was still allowed. I actually took a shower when I got home. Selection was very limited compared to other Krogers in the area.
Tom Lott (tomASS): Small but decent Kroger. Much better than the hood MLK/Holmes Kroger by my house.
Nanette “Nan” Boles: I love my Kroger. Always the beast freshest fruits and veggies.
dom kehoe: Rude old woman at the self checkout lane was rude to me and my friend 10 -10-22 @1 ish never going there again and I just moved to the neighborhood looks like I'm going to Meijer
Rick Goerge: Quick in and out
Farah Siddiqi: Kroger is very old and renowned name..They have grocery items in almost same price as Walmart,if you’re member you can save some extra bucks..Deals are always there on selected items
Vinh Tran: Approximately at July 12th 8:45 PM I was trying to return a red box disc but the machine was broken. But I was next to a few workers and I thought that they would be able to help me with my issue but 2 of them just were on their phones and looked at me and walked away. There was 2 more next to me handling the lottery machine and 1 of the worker was training the other worker but when they finished working on the lottery machine they looked at me and ignored me and walked away. As someone who lost their voice it was frustrating that these workers just ignored someone who clearly needed some assistance.
Alisha Mendoza: I asked for help recieved none. There was no one on a register. I asked if there could be got told no. So with my 1 year old I had to sit and ring up all my stuff. While there were 4 employees I could see doing nothing.
Penny Mcdonald: Why is Kroger the only store that is still experiencing a coin shortage??!! Maybe someone isn't doing their job! Sad when cash isn't an acceptable form of payment! SMH

Kroger: what do users think?
Lee Lambright: Beautiful and clean!
Lazareus: Mangers do not care about anything but their position at all, don’t be fooled. My interview with Kyle was an hour and a half long because he was on the phone doing other thing non work related half the time and would cut my time off to conversate with other employees, didn’t receive my first paycheck for almost 3 weeks. They don’t follow any of the regulations until VIP or the president of the company comes in. And don’t get me started on the racial “jokes” Kyle thinks are so funny. The computer room has black mold growing in it. There is a “ceiling” in the back that’s no even secured to the wall for real just a bunch of random cords holding on to it, place is barely clean ever. Nothing professional about what they have going on in that store.
3WK Undergroundradio: Deli is fully stocked with Boars Head. Yum. They shave the meat I request.Big bonus is that Kroger has checkers with baggers. Meijer did away with baggers. Shame on them. Never more than 2 lanes open at Meijer. I recommend Kroger.
DAVID L. MALHALAB: Takes- Priorty Health OTC Card...discounts to Free medications...Close to home...
Jan Uglis: This was a large Kroger store and the prices really went up from last year😔
Jeffrey Pearl: Customer service counter is closed too much.
H G: Was in kroger this afternoon all 4 bottle return bins full...not a worker in site...a couple calls were made for assistance still nothing...I left to go walk my dog came back 50 min later still all bins full...had bakery dept call for management and finally they got emptied
Linda Dunn: I like shopping at Kroger on Saginaw in west Lansing. However I have had a couple issues with the bakery. It use to be awesome but not anymore. Every time I call to order a cake they give me a hard time. The last time they didn’t have a baker and had no idea when they were going to get one. Today I picked up some cupcakes I pre ordered two days ago. They were chocolate with chocolate whipped frosting. When the lady handed me the cupcakes the frosting was melted and they looked terrible. She handed them to me and said make sure you get these in the refrigerator right away. I was so shocked I really do not even remember what she said. I took the cupcakes because my son just had surgery and he asked me to get him those particular cupcakes but I was so disappointed in them. When I was driving home I thought I should not have bought them. They were unexceptionable and I was disappointed in myself for not just leaving them there. I really hope they do better next time. I will probably just start getting all my bakery goods from meijers.
Barb Ely: I finally found my husband's 2 liter of caffeine free Pepsi in stock and on sale. Checked sign for limits nothing on sign. Went to check out and was told there was a limit of 4 I had 6 in cart. I believe this is false advertising because nothing in writing about limit. Bagger tod me ishould know policy.
Brandon meece: IDK who is in charge of the deli food area but they don't cook enough fried chicken anymore. We used to buy it once a week and for at least a year now there is never any hot or cold fried chicken after noon. This was a convenient dinner for my family, too bad really, guess I'll spend my money elsewhere like Horrocks just down the road. This location has been on the decline for a while, they have nearly no cashiers open, long lines at all checkouts on the regular, stock issues and last mothers day I went in to buy steaks and they almost didn't have any beef at all, went to Horrocks then too.We love Kroger, just not this one.
Kerri Dent: A worker was bringing in some carts while my husband was already grabbing a cart and the worker smashed him in between as if he was blind and couldn't see him there. THEN I picked up a cake order from the bakery and there was a big bubble in the middle of my cake and specks of grass on the frosting
Ryan Boyer: James and John who works the Clicklist area at this Kroger is amazing. Im sitting here currently watching this young man single-handedly service 7 cars including mine, all with a smile.Whomever is the manager at this Kroger, two things...you need to look into your hiring and pay to get more people in here to help poor James out!Second, give James and John a raise or at the very minimum an attaboy and some recognition.
Nik Smith: Smells terrible in the store. The layout of everything is confusing. The checkout has trouble reading cards.
Talitha Koum: Hours are incorrect.
Mark Jaeger: Great produce
Cheryl Pulsipher: Store was clean, employees were friendly and they had everything we wanted.
Lisa W: The store is great. It's clean and well stocked. The problem I had was there were only two cashiers and they had a line. I opted for the self checkout and then find that it didn't accept cash so it caused some what of a problem 😫but luckily my hubby saved me from a potentially embarrassing situation!
Ash bash 8717: The Saginaw Street Kroger has the absolute best employee in Cheryl!!! No matter how busy or how rough it may get, she keeps everything orderly and everyone happy, and is always willing to help, she always has a smile on her face! Kroger is incredibly lucky to have a staff member in her!!!!
Stephanie Sanderson: A great variety of products. The sushi vendor is terrific it is really great sushi and the best in the Lansing area.
Ken Hall: Infinitely better than Meijer!
Mary Avery: Great place to shop. Wonderful produce. Staff is helpful.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Michael Matkowski: They are unfortunately not following the return policy outlined by the company. Had receipt and unopened item. Was willing to accept cash or store credit but told that it could only be refunded to the card (not an option for me). Forced to keep the item. Asked if there was any other way to return it or if I could speak to a manager and was told that she was a manager and nothing could be done to rectify the situation. Will not be shopping there again unless it is rectified by the company and will be spreading this information among friends here in East Lansing (will update if this is corrected by customer service).
heroangel20: Nice place but you really have to go on the right day at the right time, otherwise youll be hard pressed to find everything you want. if you go at the right time, the place is awesome.
Brian Moore: Although Fresh Thyme Market had a decent selection of quality produce, I gave them 2 stars because they did not have actual cashiers working their checkout lanes. I begrudgingly used the self checkout, but will avoid ever returning to this store because of this lack of basic service.
A S: Enjoyable shopping experience. Friendly staff. A little bit of everything. Cashiers replaced with self-checkout.
Gary Fredericks: I don’t know if they’re under new management or what but the produce here is AWFUL anymore! It’s all moldy and wilted. Last Sunday I couldn’t find even ONE bell pepper that didn’t resemble a wrinkled raisin and they were all mushy. Their apples are unfit for deer bait. Even the stuff that spears good seems to rot within two days. Cauliflower, good luck finding done without black mold on it. Also, they went to all self checkout. Im just done with this place. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years here and now I’ll be moving on to the other farmers market on the west side of one of the other produce sellers in Lansing.
Shean . Z: I and my family have been shopping at this store for almost 20 years (before some of their employees were born) but since they started the Self Check Out I, my family and my colleagues rarely go to this place and I recommend it to others not go! Employees at self-checking look at all your items one by one and think that all the people who go there are thieves!!! It’s been a few times this issue has happened to me and my Coworkers and we really are sorry for this place to have such a weak management Because we have never seen such disgusting behavior anywhere. I don't even need your special discounts and with the two months profit of my business I can buy your entire shop! Before you judge customers as thieves, try to understand who they are and where they come from.
Joseph Beasley: Beautiful store with friendly staff and excellent leadership!!
Tracy Symanzik: Little pricey for not in sale items, but very nice and clean. Lots of fresh produces.
J and B: Worst experience ever! Bought over $200 of groceries, had to scan every item. No check out open! Only self check out! Lady watched me like a hawk while scanned every item! So overpriced! Not worth it!
Robert Hughes: I’ll take my business to Whole Foods in the future. After driving 40 minutes for a specific item in the deli I discovered that department doesn’t open until 10am and no one was willing to help me. Rather than wait around for another 30 minutes for that one item I put all of my items back and left. I’ll drive a little further to WF- at least I can get consistent service there.
Kathie Maurer: Clean, convenient and well supplied. Friendly and helpful staff⁰
Heather Joseph: I will never shop here again.....they need to update their website!!!!!!!!
Steve Underwood: Nice alternative to Kroger, Meijer and, if I can't get across town, to Horrocks.
Crystle Parker: Great variety of products. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable.
Phillis Mullins: I don't like the fact that they have only self-checkout
Sylvia Lin: Came in only to buy some local corns but there were many awesome looking produces that we ended up picking up way 4 bags of groceries!
Crissy: Great produce sales. Grocery staples are more expensive than other local grocery stores. The self-serve soup is not fresh.
Barbara Montes: Nice looking store but not enough organic foods and way overpriced.
Mary Avery: Love this store great sales. Staff helpful. Has a fresh meat counter. Great produce especially when on sale. So glad yesterday that a delightful person checked me out.
Ted K: I went there from work at noon hoping to pick up a sandwich and some fruit. After the lady next to me took my place in line (the line went all the way into the aisle and she said she was at the end of the line and I was not even in line) for the self scanning, I looked for a cashier at noon on Wednesday. No cashiers, self scan only. Long lines for self scanning. I left without purchasing anything because scanning is not my job! Other than that, the store displays looked nice.
Ben Eysselinck: Really good selection of goods, and a great grocery store alternative to Amazon type stores. Friendly folks and good food with great deals if you check their flyers.

Meijer: what do users think?
Rosen Pulido: Great place to stay
Marc Van Gulick: This Meijer is quite Southside. They got new black carts.
Dee Webb: Could this store be managed worse? Rarely have ad items in stock on the shelf. Disorderly shelves & racks. Ridiculous. Go to a different Meijer - this one is bad.Store #324 remains a HOT mess.
Cheryl Hengesbach: Good deals
Debra Kipper: Real nice clean .
S “Skid row”: Had everything u might need I'm one store
JoAnna S: The fish keeper in this store needs. Arise shes doing a fantastic job
CAUCASIANBOB PARVIN: It's meijer the best big box store going.
Susan VanGorder: Mostly clean and stocked, but some of the employees have attitudes, but there's one Delhi person that goes way past their way her name is Patrica.
Mandy Dowdy: Its convenient
Kathleen Hicks: I LOVE THIS MEIJER'S STORE.. ALWAYS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY....☺️
Michelle-Randy Carlson: This particular Meijer's location has come a long way in the past couple years. For a long time, it was pretty janky - dirty, cluttered, nasty. After a huge rehab of the store, as well as parking lot renovations, this is actually a nice place to shop again. Store is kept clean, stuff isn't piled around. With South Lansing being ethnically diverse, they also have a pretty nice selection of international foods. I've been coming here more and more rather than the Meijer's further south in Mason. They've recently made a huge, much-needed update to their shopping carts too, which is great. The staff always seem overworked, but they are always friendly and I have found them to be very helpful.
leonard barlow: cashback at the self-checkout
Tiffanie Denby-McGee: Meijer
Tim Pruitt: Nice atmosphere. The store was very clean & organized.
Spencer Maize: They’ve purposely put the basic household necessities at the back of the store so that you are forced to look at all the other products they carry and have to navigate the odd aisle structures. Then you get to the registers and only one is open with a long line, deal with the narrow line to self checkout covered in last minute product flashes to try making another dollar off of you, and spend more than you bargained for even though they brag about “low prices”.
Cynthia Windless: Worst bottle room ever! No running water in the sink for months!
Robert Richmond: Only got 2 stars because they had what I wanted. Including groceries I wanted an SD card. All were locked and needed someone to open it. I waited, nobody showed. I used the red phone, nobody showed. When I called for assistance, the person left their phone on the counter. I had to rip the sd package off and scan it myself. Absolutely horrible management
bakenjason: The best rotisserie chicken in town and don't forget the tendies!
Moti Rai: I love this store you will get everything what you need
Great Lakes Narwhal Michelle Erskine: Most things in one place

Kroger: what do users think?
colleen cade: One of the better Krogers in Lansing, otherwise I'd recommend Kroger on west Saginaw or Okemos
Jenna Orr: I actually live in Grand Rapids and pick up groceries specifically from this Kroger. After have so many failed pick up attempts at a different store in Grand Rapids, I gave this kroger a shot. I have had maybe 8 to 10 flawless pick ups. Orders come out within 1-2 minutes of arrival, items are rarely out of stock, and their substitutions are realistic and usually in the customer's favor. It's been great and I'm very grateful.
S Bishop: Very clean
Carli Hush: Instacart delivery added $130 to our order, every food item the price was inflated, they added a service fee of over $40. Price gouging!!!
Jessica Jones: Easy in and out
Joseph Beasley: Very clean environment and friendly staff. The floral department is Amazing here!!Ask for Denise she is the Best!
Janine Lake: Like the produce and other products. Just hate shopping 🛍😒. Get just a few things and it cost as much as if basket was full.
J D: Under managed and overpriced. Not a single register open but, there was 3 useless employees discussing their idiotic millennial views on the world by the U-Scans as everyone shopping works for free.
George Costanza: This has become a "quick stop" store, like dollar general, etc. They have ZERO cashiers. So don't buy anything more than you can quickly scan at the self checkout. There is no conveyor or anything. just one of those rotating carousels, with 4 bagging positions. If you fill your cart up with groceries, it will be too much for their system... and they don't seem to care.ZERO CASHIERS. Every lane is empty. Just a kid playing on his phone in front of the "10 items or less" automated checkout machines.Greed has taken over this store. They can't even think big picture. You'd think they would WANT us to fill up our carts with lots of stuff, but NO...they make it really difficult to stock up on groceries, instead.Saving a buck, and losing customers. Great plan!
Amy Seabold: First picture is from June and the second is from this morning; the self-checkout has yet to be cleaned after 4 months. Now there's wrinkled produce back there.Mental note to not visit the deli or bakery if these are the cleaning standards 😷
Julie Powers: I've had better luck with Curbside but needed to get a few things are a bit difficult to source. Not a lot of options in the produce section, the self-checkout lines were jammed up, and almost no one was masked (except me and a few others, no staff). I can't feel safe buying meat, deli items, and prepared foods from people who don't take basic safety precautions. Fine for prepackaged items.
Mary Birdsall: This is one of the best Krogers to shop at because it is clean and has a variety of so many different foods groups!
Carrie Hill: This Kroger is convenient to my commute.
Kathy Mckee: Kroger was busy and long lines but the people were nice and the food was good
Justin Bain: Very clean and organized
Les Hayden: Small store, but clean with a good selection.
Russ Bennett: Price is the only issue I have with Kroger.
scott. walkup: The last 2 delivery orders I got from this store had items added to the he orders which I did not order and did not receive. It's obvious that the shoppers at this store are taking these items for themselves. Kroger's did refund my card but to get that I was on hold each time for over 39 minutes.
Jeffrey St Pierre: Need changes to their app; very difficult to use, find items, find digital coupons.
Kent Beeksma: Came here to pick a prescription that my Kroger near me did not have in stock and I arrived just as they were getting to go on there lunch break but they started to assist me then the pharmacist was very rude and asking me a bunch of questions to which I did not have the answer for and I was told to come back after 1:30pm when their break was done. Very rude in my opinion. I apologize for showing up right as there lunch break was about to start and he could have simply said as I walked up that they were about to close for lunch and I would have waited. Instead I got a rude attitude because I did not have answers for him on the spot. This review is only for the pharmacy not the store it self.
Dan: High prices
