Tannenbaum Farms: what do users think?
Victoria Meeder: A great place to pick out your Christmas 🎄 tree! They had pre-cut trees and fields full of trees ready for you to cut. Here's our beautiful tree that we purchased from the farm.
Micah Doerr: Beautiful tree selection with fair prices!
Craig Johnson: What a great place, we really enjoyed the experience of finding and selecting our tree. They have refreshments and a fire to enjoy as well.
Ashley Julien: Such a nice tree farm with friendly staff. Saws are sharp, you can walk or take the tractor ride to get trees. Very affordable if you don't choose Frasier fir. The 6' tree we picked was $27. Hot chocolate, hot dogs and other treats for $1. I love how they still price by the foot.
Megan Catron: Overall a great farm but the prices are pretty expensive. I just can’t see myself ever paying double the price for a Christmas tree again compared to other tree farms in the area. They do have a nice hot coco/food area and a great selection of trees though.
Jennifer Williams: We've been coming here for about five or six years now. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. They'll ask how big you're looking for and type of tree, then send you in the right direction to find it. Tannenbaum Farms is a day after Thanksgiving tradition for our family!
jennifer mcallister: My tree is beautiful!! The staff was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be going back next year!
jordan slater: An annual family tradition. Friendly staff and great service.
Zachary Kleinerman: Great trees and friendly staff!
Delaney Williams: Went here last year and had a great time! And it cheaper than our original tree farm and closer to home and the tree it self last longer and Beyond Christmas. Will be going here again!!!
Gary Egeland: Great selection! We needed Big & Tall and they had good selection! Very helpful people with service after the cut! Shake, wrapped in twine, helped get in the truck. It will be our 1st stop next year.
Janine Austin: Been coming here for 32 years. This is last year. They drill my tree he big I stead of tapered. Makes tree wobble back and forth. Us then drilled crooked so whe tree sits on a angle. 90 dollars for a tree that leans. Ridiculous. Inexperienced kids who rush rush didn't take Tim to get tree straight. And broke off top of tree. Done. And no not bringing back coming from perry.
virginia robinson: Very friendly and amazing. Getting our tree here is a big tradition in our family.
Bjoern Hamberger: We come to Tannenbaum Farms regularly, in fall to pick up pumpkins and later for the Christmas tree (Tannenbaum). Always good and cool for the kids! Carving next weekend...good loot today! Bring cash. There is a pay-here box. Happy Halloween!
Paul Hansknecht: Not a high selection of pre-cut trees, but many, many standing trees to choose from. Very helpful staff.
Mika Wooden: Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Each section of trees was clearly marked and identifiable.
Tim Norris: Great selection of cut your own trees. Pricey but you get the best and freshest tree.
Tayler Hall: Easy to find location with clear signage for driving, parking, and where to begin looking for the perfect tree. There is a huge selection here ranging from little cute trees to large and would never fit in my apartment trees. The service was excellent, friendly and I recommend this place to anyone interested in a real tree this year.
Garrett Clay: Loved it! All the the staff was nice an we got a beautiful 🎄!
William Munn Jr.: Fantastic tree farm!
Jason Bristow: We love Tannenbaum. The trees are beautiful, the employees are friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is perfect. Prices seem reasonable, especially when you consider the years and effort necessary to grow a tree 8 feet tall (or 13 feet for us).

Capital City Market: what do users think?
Karla Darnell: Like the setup but some of the Employees arent to friend mainly the guys They act like its an imposition for them to be there.. But otherwise its a pleasant place to do business.
george gouin: Just cool upbeat place
David McCarthy: Refused to accept a bottle return at 8:05pm, almost two hours before they closed. They claimed they were only required to accept bottles during certain hours of the day. Since I had biked there with the bottles, I had no room to buy new containers without simply forfeiting my deposit. This is the kind of customer service we get after giving millions of dollars in public subsidies to a multi-billion dollar corporation.
renee hall: Great store. Always has everything I'm looking for. Good parking. Friendly staff. It's so awesome to finally have a grocery store downtown!!
Rachel Fredrickson: Most of the produce is spoiled.
Melissa Davids: I love this store and location. My daughter and I go here and get good stuff . Prices are resealable and you check yourself out.
Jason Watson: Great to have a real grocery store downtown.
Tonino Pacifico: Very easy to find items. Nicely organized
Robbie Scott: i like this place! even though its a grocery store everything feels so cozy as soon as you walk in, and they have a lot of stuff i don't usually see at other stores
Anthony Amirante: Best grocery store sushi ever.
Jadenplaysgames: (2022 july)I havent been in there but my mom goes and there sushi is good and I heard its a good store and The items are! I suggest going here i go to the grocery store big ones but this one It seems okay(A month after that i went Nice place)
Quentin Moon: This is a terrible place to shop for anyone who isn't a street walking addict looking for a fight.
Trevor Benoit: Not just a grocery store, but an essential part of creating a walkable downtown in Lansing. The market is located in a prime spot in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors. Their selection of fresh produce and locally sourced products is impressive, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. By supporting local farmers and businesses, they contribute to building a stronger community. Capital City Market offers a unique and exceptional shopping experience that is hard to come by in other grocery stores. If you're looking for a store that is dedicated to providing high-quality products and supporting the local community, Capital City Market is the place to be.
Jenni Taylor: So u can use your mperks at this meijer but they do not validate meijer sales ads!? That's ridiculous... why are u named, meijer? I'll never do here again! It's a rip off
Medardo Antonio Rodriguez: Always a good place to do convenience shopping because its location.
John S: Too many homeless people just hanging out all day, charging their phones and whatever else they have with them. Used to enjoy sitting down to relax with a cup of coffee but got tired of people wanting to sit at the table with me to charge their phone. The little cafe area used to have a microwave, but due to the homeless population, they took it out. Why won’t management do something about this? I’m sorry these folks are homeless but enough is enough. You can barely enter the store without being accosted for money, cigarettes, food, etc. it’s the same people all day, everyday. The store imposed a 1 hour limit but the people just leave after an hour and come back. Prices are also very high and selection is a bit limited. Produce is the high point of the store for me, it’s fantastic. Sadly I won’t go in anymore bc things are just out of hand.
Reese Clark: Produce is great, and they do offer some affordable choices
Darla Dowker Jackson: This place is great for finding nearly everything you need, without that feeling of "embarking on an epic quest, possibly never to be heard from again" feeling of the larger Meijer stores. They also have a great selection of local foods, and often there are weekend days when area vendors have food samples. The downside is that nothing ever goes on sale, and it lacks the wide variety of its larger cohorts. So depending on your shopping needs, this may or may not be a great fit for you.
Jim Lott: Some unusual groceries available but certainly not everything from a normal store. Eat in area looked good but I'll have to try it another day.
Meghan Perry: Really nice and clean inside. Food looks delicious and fresh.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Michael Matkowski: They are unfortunately not following the return policy outlined by the company. Had receipt and unopened item. Was willing to accept cash or store credit but told that it could only be refunded to the card (not an option for me). Forced to keep the item. Asked if there was any other way to return it or if I could speak to a manager and was told that she was a manager and nothing could be done to rectify the situation. Will not be shopping there again unless it is rectified by the company and will be spreading this information among friends here in East Lansing (will update if this is corrected by customer service).
heroangel20: Nice place but you really have to go on the right day at the right time, otherwise youll be hard pressed to find everything you want. if you go at the right time, the place is awesome.
Brian Moore: Although Fresh Thyme Market had a decent selection of quality produce, I gave them 2 stars because they did not have actual cashiers working their checkout lanes. I begrudgingly used the self checkout, but will avoid ever returning to this store because of this lack of basic service.
A S: Enjoyable shopping experience. Friendly staff. A little bit of everything. Cashiers replaced with self-checkout.
Gary Fredericks: I don’t know if they’re under new management or what but the produce here is AWFUL anymore! It’s all moldy and wilted. Last Sunday I couldn’t find even ONE bell pepper that didn’t resemble a wrinkled raisin and they were all mushy. Their apples are unfit for deer bait. Even the stuff that spears good seems to rot within two days. Cauliflower, good luck finding done without black mold on it. Also, they went to all self checkout. Im just done with this place. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years here and now I’ll be moving on to the other farmers market on the west side of one of the other produce sellers in Lansing.
Shean . Z: I and my family have been shopping at this store for almost 20 years (before some of their employees were born) but since they started the Self Check Out I, my family and my colleagues rarely go to this place and I recommend it to others not go! Employees at self-checking look at all your items one by one and think that all the people who go there are thieves!!! It’s been a few times this issue has happened to me and my Coworkers and we really are sorry for this place to have such a weak management Because we have never seen such disgusting behavior anywhere. I don't even need your special discounts and with the two months profit of my business I can buy your entire shop! Before you judge customers as thieves, try to understand who they are and where they come from.
Joseph Beasley: Beautiful store with friendly staff and excellent leadership!!
Tracy Symanzik: Little pricey for not in sale items, but very nice and clean. Lots of fresh produces.
J and B: Worst experience ever! Bought over $200 of groceries, had to scan every item. No check out open! Only self check out! Lady watched me like a hawk while scanned every item! So overpriced! Not worth it!
Robert Hughes: I’ll take my business to Whole Foods in the future. After driving 40 minutes for a specific item in the deli I discovered that department doesn’t open until 10am and no one was willing to help me. Rather than wait around for another 30 minutes for that one item I put all of my items back and left. I’ll drive a little further to WF- at least I can get consistent service there.
Kathie Maurer: Clean, convenient and well supplied. Friendly and helpful staff⁰
Heather Joseph: I will never shop here again.....they need to update their website!!!!!!!!
Steve Underwood: Nice alternative to Kroger, Meijer and, if I can't get across town, to Horrocks.
Crystle Parker: Great variety of products. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable.
Phillis Mullins: I don't like the fact that they have only self-checkout
Sylvia Lin: Came in only to buy some local corns but there were many awesome looking produces that we ended up picking up way 4 bags of groceries!
Crissy: Great produce sales. Grocery staples are more expensive than other local grocery stores. The self-serve soup is not fresh.
Barbara Montes: Nice looking store but not enough organic foods and way overpriced.
Mary Avery: Love this store great sales. Staff helpful. Has a fresh meat counter. Great produce especially when on sale. So glad yesterday that a delightful person checked me out.
Ted K: I went there from work at noon hoping to pick up a sandwich and some fruit. After the lady next to me took my place in line (the line went all the way into the aisle and she said she was at the end of the line and I was not even in line) for the self scanning, I looked for a cashier at noon on Wednesday. No cashiers, self scan only. Long lines for self scanning. I left without purchasing anything because scanning is not my job! Other than that, the store displays looked nice.
Ben Eysselinck: Really good selection of goods, and a great grocery store alternative to Amazon type stores. Friendly folks and good food with great deals if you check their flyers.
