Simon Terhaar: Not even competent enough to offer pickup of groceries. Nope, instead you must suffer the poorly staffed checkout lines and poorly stocked shelves. I’ve been here multiple times, has yet to improve.A well run instance of this store could be winning me over. Instead it is a flaming trash fire of incompetence, kept afloat by its location alone.
Laura Cassidy: Usually like going to this Krogers because I can find everything because I'm from the south side but today I had a very bad experience because one cashier wanted to be a jerk and not helpful I'm sorry Kroger's you need to do a little bit better on people you hire that don't have very good customer skills
jay Gee: Store isn't bad and staff is nice, but everything needs you to go sign up for the card then use the app to find all your items and click them just so you can get the DEAL. It takes me longer to get ready to shop than actually shop. Not what I'm looking for in my food supplier.

Nick Sachjen: I was on the hunt for Liquid Smoke because I found a great Recipe for Homemade Jerky. Liquid Smoke is a key ingredient. I asked a Stocker named Mark to point me in the direction of finding it. He helped me and we weren't able to locate any on the shelf. 20 mins later when I was checking out he brought some up to me that Blake who is the Store Manager and himself had found in the back. Awesome Customer Service. A huge thank you to Blake and Mark for finding the Liquid Smoke for me in the back. That was top notch service. Thanks again!

AmarieB Lansing: I just left the Holmes and MLK Kroger. I got a valentines gift that included a candle that just burned smoke and i went there to ask to trade for another brand. The customer service desk lady on Feb 15th at 3:30 pm told me that the candle was high priced (15.00) and she couldnt return OR exchange it! I spend at least 350.00 a month there and she asked me for my phone number to look up the purchase AFTER i told her it was a gift. Why would i get a cheap gift? Did she get a 1.00 Valentine and was mad at me? Either way, she was being extremely rude and unprofessional and im DONE with Holmes Road Kroger. Ill drive 15 miles to get to the one past the Lansing Mall before ill ever go there again. They just lost a lifetime customer. Thanks for your great customer service lady. I hope you are blessed with every wonderful thing you wish for so you can stop treating people the way you DONT want to be treated.

Toni Crane: This Kroger is nasty!!!!!Items are rarely on the shelves. Cashiers are not friendly. Other customers are just plain rude and very disrespectful. I have been called names being in this store. I am always a nice person but this store brings out the worst in me. I will drive to the Holt location or the Saginaw Rd /Creytes Rd before I will step into the Holmes Rd one agin!!!!!Even the ones at the gas station are not people friendly. Too busy being on the personal phones to see you're standing right in front of them. Then they act like you're interrupting them. I have had my fill of Holmes Rd.

Debra Chapman: If I could make it zero stars, I would. This has got to be the worst Kroger in Lansing. For one, they do not put their sale signs up. And most of the time they only have one checkout operator. I was there yesterday, and after shopping for probably 40 minutes, went to check out with a cart full of groceries. I was so happy to see two cashiers. After waiting almost 10 minutes in line, the cashier announces he's going on break and for myself and everyone behind me to move over behind a bunch of other people. Needless to say, I left my cart full of groceries and went to a different Kroger that knows how to take care of their customers.

colleen cade: One of the better Krogers in Lansing, otherwise I'd recommend Kroger on west Saginaw or Okemos
Jenna Orr: I actually live in Grand Rapids and pick up groceries specifically from this Kroger. After have so many failed pick up attempts at a different store in Grand Rapids, I gave this kroger a shot. I have had maybe 8 to 10 flawless pick ups. Orders come out within 1-2 minutes of arrival, items are rarely out of stock, and their substitutions are realistic and usually in the customer's favor. It's been great and I'm very grateful.

There is no conveyor or anything. just one of those rotating carousels, with 4 bagging positions.If you fill your cart up with groceries, it will be too much for their system... and they don't seem to care.ZERO CASHIERS. Every lane is empty. Just a kid playing on his phone in front of the "10 items or less" automated checkout machines.Greed has taken over this store. They can't even think big picture.You'd think they would WANT us to fill up our carts with lots of stuff, but NO...they make it really difficult to stock up on groceries, instead.Saving a buck, and losing customers. Great plan!

Julie Powers: I've had better luck with Curbside but needed to get a few things are a bit difficult to source. Not a lot of options in the produce section, the self-checkout lines were jammed up, and almost no one was masked (except me and a few others, no staff). I can't feel safe buying meat, deli items, and prepared foods from people who don't take basic safety precautions. Fine for prepackaged items.

Kent Beeksma: Came here to pick a prescription that my Kroger near me did not have in stock and I arrived just as they were getting to go on there lunch break but they started to assist me then the pharmacist was very rude and asking me a bunch of questions to which I did not have the answer for and I was told to come back after 1:30pm when their break was done. Very rude in my opinion. I apologize for showing up right as there lunch break was about to start and he could have simply said as I walked up that they were about to close for lunch and I would have waited. Instead I got a rude attitude because I did not have answers for him on the spot. This review is only for the pharmacy not the store it self.

Kathryn Jackson: Holt Kroger had gone downhill so rapidly.Cashiers talking with their friends instead of checking out your groceries .Parking lot cart retrieval people standing outside talking and laughing instead of working.I don't think they have any people skills or sense of responsibility.I question if there are any supervisors at allVagrants in parking lot.I won't shop here again

Julie Teed: Generally good service at this store. However I tried to use Kroger coupons from the app and was told I would have to print them out to use them. I don't have a home printer. Why offer online coupons if they aren't accepted in stores? The cashier tried to help but we got nowhere.
Charles Rich: This store has lost all ability to keep/hire employees. There is no customer service anymore, carts are almost never taken care of, they spent a fortune on a new hot foods counter and never have anything in it, and their pharmacy is never open on time. Food's decent when it's stocked so they've got that going for them I suppose.

He is always so friendly and willing to help! Ordered mini sandwiches, fruit & veggie trays, cheese trays, and assorted mini dessert cakes that were amazing! I've also purchased the big box of fried chicken for family gatherings! Highly recommend! Reasonably priced per serving!
Amy Dyer: I took my Mom there tonight and she ran into a problem using her Humana card. The staff was so patient and helpful, especially Sierra. The store was extremely busy and still they did their best to resolve the payment issue and was very kind to her.

Sam: The only reason why I'm allowing 2 stars is because I prefer Kroger over Meijer or Walmart for my food. I'm from Oakland county and moved out to Ingham and I noticed a huge change in quality and attitude of employees. It seems that this location looks for any reason to close early and find an easy way out of doing their job. It's unfortunate because this location has so much potential but not the right people running it. I know I'll be fine either way but good luck, your as ghetto as the people who steal from you.
scott. walkup: Kroger's in Holt has the rudest employee I have ever encountered working at the Gas Station. This employee's name is Taylor. Taylor has worked here for months but claims she does not know how to operate the Lottery machine properly so she refuses to sell a ticket with double play . The last she waited on me she over charged me. When I pointed this out and asked for a refund she got mad. She was so rude about her mistake it was ridiculous. I will no longer use the gas station as long as they allow this rude individual to abuse customers.

Cirea Strode: I’m not sure what has happened to this location but it has definitely changed. This used to be my favorite store. However for the last times I’ve came the lines have been ridiculous. Only one side of the self check out was opened. Only 3 actual registers open. Lines blending into each other and down the aisles. It’s always like a mad house at the front due to the lines. I believe they maybe short staffed which I understand, however if you know that it’s need to be better instruction or maybe some type of signs for which way the lines should go. People were frustrated and jumping the lines because no one understood where it ended. I was worried customers were going to have an altercation. Definitely need to do better.
Platte puss: I have been a shopper here for over a decade. The struggle of shopping on the weekend is real. Especially on Sunday. I am currently standing in line for the U-scan and it always takes longer to check out than to shop.

No one helped me I had to grab it all over the lane on the floor and they just watched, even had to ask for a bag! It was so embarrassing and the cashier was mad I had not cashed out yet, well buddy I was cleaning up my bottles of tea while you watched me! Stay far away! X. RAO: Good news, starting May 28th kroger will not send paper advertisement paper.Nice selection of fruit, vegetable, sea food, meat, diary and others. Decent size with good selection. Parking is easy. Check out usually is fast. Bottle return area can be a little smelly. Gas station is quite new, but I feel the price is in the high range in the area.

Mary Rider: I have been going to Okemos Kroger for over 20 years and lately I have notice the price for vegetables being marked incorrectly; today the broccoli sign said $2.99 but then I am charged $3.29. I only seem to catch this when I am buying a few items. It was my understanding that this would fall under the scanning law and I would be reimbursed accordingly but Kroger said that is not the case. They didn’t write it down the item’s price that needed to be changed in the system. While $.30 may not be very much money but if it is the case on 10 or more items in the produce section, think about how much money they are scamming out of the customers.So disappointed in Kroger! I have never had this issues at other stores with produce, not even the Kroger in East Lansing off of Lake Lansing.

It wasn't worth giving this place a shot this morning on a whim. I put the few items I had back and purchased them down the road for dollars cheaper. Ed L2: I shopped for a couple items in the Ad that had lower prices than a competitor, and bought a couple more regular priced items to try. Store was well stocked. Two cashiered lanes open at 11:30 am on Friday, but Self-checkout lanes closed. Only took 5 to 8 minutes max to checkout.
