David McCarthy: Refused to accept a bottle return at 8:05pm, almost two hours before they closed. They claimed they were only required to accept bottles during certain hours of the day. Since I had biked there with the bottles, I had no room to buy new containers without simply forfeiting my deposit. This is the kind of customer service we get after giving millions of dollars in public subsidies to a multi-billion dollar corporation.

John S: Too many homeless people just hanging out all day, charging their phones and whatever else they have with them. Used to enjoy sitting down to relax with a cup of coffee but got tired of people wanting to sit at the table with me to charge their phone. The little cafe area used to have a microwave, but due to the homeless population, they took it out. Why won’t management do something about this? I’m sorry these folks are homeless but enough is enough. You can barely enter the store without being accosted for money, cigarettes, food, etc. it’s the same people all day, everyday. The store imposed a 1 hour limit but the people just leave after an hour and come back. Prices are also very high and selection is a bit limited. Produce is the high point of the store for me, it’s fantastic. Sadly I won’t go in anymore bc things are just out of hand.

Darla Dowker Jackson: This place is great for finding nearly everything you need, without that feeling of "embarking on an epic quest, possibly never to be heard from again" feeling of the larger Meijer stores. They also have a great selection of local foods, and often there are weekend days when area vendors have food samples. The downside is that nothing ever goes on sale, and it lacks the wide variety of its larger cohorts. So depending on your shopping needs, this may or may not be a great fit for you.
Jim Lott: Some unusual groceries available but certainly not everything from a normal store. Eat in area looked good but I'll have to try it another day.

Heather Field: Great place! Wonderful atmosphere! Find just about anything you are looking for and lots of stuff you need that you didn't know you needed. Like fresh ground peanut butter, delicious vinegars, and flavored cooking oils. Their produce and spice selection can not be beat. Don't forget to enjoy a glass of wine or beer and pizza out in the garden before you shop. Beautiful annual, perennial, and fresh cut flowers/plants. One of my favorite places to visit. It is a little pricey for certain things.
Chris M: Lots of plants, produce, wine, flowers, beer, grocery including ethnic food brands, and even prepared foods are sold in one place. It's great but gets very busy and the parking lot can be an adventure. Early mornings on weekdays are a great time to visit if you prefer to avoid crowds.

Christopher Swinson: One of the best farmers markets in the Lansing area.Not too big, not too small, plenty of parking, and a wide range of vendors selling the freshest 100% home-grown, Michigan produce and mushrooms, cheeses, meats, soaps and personal care items, plus hot food trucks, live music, and more!

Got 4 different varieties. Plenty of other vendors with a lot of other stuff and amazing foods. Cool live music was nice to. And the park was clean, smoke free and really nice.Definitely worth checking out. I'd give 10 stars if possible.Plus prices considering the amount of organic food available was very fair.
Victor Lee: Assortment of fresh farmed products. A dozen or so vendors and live music. Kids playground and field nearby. Everything is a little pricier than grocery store but you pay for freshness and quality!

Eric Brockway (Bruke): A good small local grocery store. They offer some prepared food in their albeit small deli; the exact foods changes daily but there's usually some form of fish and a soup, plus about a half-dozen other options. Their meat counter is exceptional and they will even sell 30 or 40 pound combined packages of meats at a deep discount. Some of their meat (like chicken and some pork) is from large vendors but I believe they actually process most their beef themselves, on site. They sell chilled two-liter bottles of soda. They sell lottery tickets and alcohol. The store recently changed ownership and there's been some subsequent changes but overall it's still a very nice grocery store and worth visiting.Update January 2023New owners but still a good store. They sell some new stuff, particularly rice and curry. I haven't seen the chilled two-liter sodas recently which makes me sad but overall still reccomend them.

Slay by Shaye: This store has history within the community and has been around for years. But it is dirty and has flies bad. It's a super small store and is not kept up. They also sell homemade tacos & burritos with salsa. Alot of people love them but I did not like the taste and was worried of getting sick.

My only problem going there more often is I am seldom out of the house when they are open! Tonight I went there... They were out of shredded beef... So I had two chorizo potato burrito's best I ever had! Best ever prior to this was in Galveston Texas.. Glad I bought two... They are basically breakfast burrito's! Two were cheaper than one shredded beef... A side note while I was eating my Son called from Mesa AZ... after we got off the phone... The first burrito was cold... But much better than before I talked with my son! I put the second burrito in the fridge for when I took my late night med's... It was even better still! I love Handy's... Only problem is they close around 6pm!9/24/2022 (2nd Review) they were out of shredded beef burritos again last night! I decided to try the shredded beef taco's... they are even more delicious than the shredded beef burritos! Soft shell taco's with lettuce, tomatoes and onions...hot and mild salsa (mixed)! Glad I decided to buy 4 (based my experiences with other taco establishments) only ate 3 but just like the experience I've had with their burritos They are much better cold! I loved them so much that I went back today and bought 4 more! Very reasonable price (4 for $9.00)! I LOVE Handy's!

We were so excited that we brought 10 lbs. of it. We have family coming in from out of town, but we will definitely be sharing it with them. It is delicious with eggs 😋 for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My husband's friends love 💕 when I make them some chorizo burritos to take to work in the 🌄. I was literally the only one in store for the first few minutes. I looked through the store to see what they had as I've never been to this store before. After finding out I don't meet the cc requirement I went to collect change in my car to buy something small. I even took the item back to where I got it on the shelf. One additional person came into the store while I was in the car. I came back to buy one item, knew where it was so I went to get it. I had 5 quarters in my hand and was taking 2 seconds to make sure it's 1.25 after she finished ringing me up. Before I looked up she said it's 5 quarters like I don't know how to count and grabbed the change in my hand. I left the store with an unwanted plastic bag with one item in it and the cashier looking at me with the angriest face I've seen all day. I really hope that woman has a better day tomorrow.

Andrew Rushlow: So I was told to check this place out by a friend of mine. I popped in and the selection was fun and new for me. BUT the meat selection. I didn’t make a scene and I ended up buying the “ribeye” steaks he sold me but he is selling chuck steaks and selling them as ribeye for the price of ribeye and ripping people off. I will not be coming back to this place

I was greeted by very friendly and knowledgeable manager who had my competitive priced meat order, individually wrapped and ready to go. I was glad to find out the beef meat I purchased was grass fed and came from local farms in Michigan. The store itself is well laid out, very clean and easy to navigate. I am so happy I found this Market with their exceptional quality of meat and very friendly service. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Mark Chamberlin: I stopped here for the grocery and realized they are now offering a full line of take out food! I had to try it. SO GLAD I did. The family just loved the exceptional quality, flavor, texture and authenticity of the food. WOW! Not what I expected from such a small place. Apparently the owner worked in restaurants in Las Vegas for several years. Looking forward to our next feast.

BeautyByMontse (Monse): When I visit this store for the first time I continue to do so every time I go to buy food, excellent quality meals, the meats they sell are super good and fresh and at very good prices. very good cleaning. even if you want something specific you can order it from the boy at the store and he will order it for you. great attention from the store staff. I find everything I want. I highly recommend this store, it's great, I love it and I'll keep going there.

A Marines: This neighborhood party store/meat market has been here for many years. Unfortunately, there is a lot of competition with larger supermarkets in the nearby vicinity. The prices are double for what you can buy at Meijers 5 minutes down the road. This is convenient for liquor, lotto and at times, meat. Staff is friendly.
