Lazareus: Mangers do not care about anything but their position at all, don’t be fooled. My interview with Kyle was an hour and a half long because he was on the phone doing other thing non work related half the time and would cut my time off to conversate with other employees, didn’t receive my first paycheck for almost 3 weeks. They don’t follow any of the regulations until VIP or the president of the company comes in. And don’t get me started on the racial “jokes” Kyle thinks are so funny. The computer room has black mold growing in it. There is a “ceiling” in the back that’s no even secured to the wall for real just a bunch of random cords holding on to it, place is barely clean ever. Nothing professional about what they have going on in that store.

3WK Undergroundradio: Deli is fully stocked with Boars Head. Yum. They shave the meat I request.Big bonus is that Kroger has checkers with baggers. Meijer did away with baggers. Shame on them. Never more than 2 lanes open at Meijer. I recommend Kroger.

Linda Dunn: I like shopping at Kroger on Saginaw in west Lansing. However I have had a couple issues with the bakery. It use to be awesome but not anymore. Every time I call to order a cake they give me a hard time. The last time they didn’t have a baker and had no idea when they were going to get one. Today I picked up some cupcakes I pre ordered two days ago. They were chocolate with chocolate whipped frosting. When the lady handed me the cupcakes the frosting was melted and they looked terrible. She handed them to me and said make sure you get these in the refrigerator right away. I was so shocked I really do not even remember what she said. I took the cupcakes because my son just had surgery and he asked me to get him those particular cupcakes but I was so disappointed in them. When I was driving home I thought I should not have bought them. They were unexceptionable and I was disappointed in myself for not just leaving them there. I really hope they do better next time. I will probably just start getting all my bakery goods from meijers.

Barb Ely: I finally found my husband's 2 liter of caffeine free Pepsi in stock and on sale. Checked sign for limits nothing on sign. Went to check out and was told there was a limit of 4 I had 6 in cart. I believe this is false advertising because nothing in writing about limit. Bagger tod me ishould know policy.

Brandon meece: IDK who is in charge of the deli food area but they don't cook enough fried chicken anymore. We used to buy it once a week and for at least a year now there is never any hot or cold fried chicken after noon.This was a convenient dinner for my family, too bad really, guess I'll spend my money elsewhere like Horrocks just down the road.This location has been on the decline for a while, they have nearly no cashiers open, long lines at all checkouts on the regular, stock issues and last mothers day I went in to buy steaks and they almost didn't have any beef at all, went to Horrocks then too.We love Kroger, just not this one.

Kerri Dent: A worker was bringing in some carts while my husband was already grabbing a cart and the worker smashed him in between as if he was blind and couldn't see him there. THEN I picked up a cake order from the bakery and there was a big bubble in the middle of my cake and specks of grass on the frosting

Im sitting here currently watching this young man single-handedly service 7 cars including mine, all with a smile.Whomever is the manager at this Kroger, two things...you need to look into your hiring and pay to get more people in here to help poor James out!Second, give James and John a raise or at the very minimum an attaboy and some recognition.

No matter how busy or how rough it may get, she keeps everything orderly and everyone happy, and is always willing to help, she always has a smile on her face! Kroger is incredibly lucky to have a staff member in her!!!!

For a long time, it was pretty janky - dirty, cluttered, nasty.After a huge rehab of the store, as well as parking lot renovations, this is actually a nice place to shop again. Store is kept clean, stuff isn't piled around. With South Lansing being ethnically diverse, they also have a pretty nice selection of international foods. I've been coming here more and more rather than the Meijer's further south in Mason.They've recently made a huge, much-needed update to their shopping carts too, which is great.The staff always seem overworked, but they are always friendly and I have found them to be very helpful.

Then you get to the registers and only one is open with a long line, deal with the narrow line to self checkout covered in last minute product flashes to try making another dollar off of you, and spend more than you bargained for even though they brag about “low prices”.

I used the red phone, nobody showed. When I called for assistance, the person left their phone on the counter. I had to rip the sd package off and scan it myself. Absolutely horrible management

After have so many failed pick up attempts at a different store in Grand Rapids, I gave this kroger a shot. I have had maybe 8 to 10 flawless pick ups. Orders come out within 1-2 minutes of arrival, items are rarely out of stock, and their substitutions are realistic and usually in the customer's favor. It's been great and I'm very grateful.

There is no conveyor or anything. just one of those rotating carousels, with 4 bagging positions.If you fill your cart up with groceries, it will be too much for their system... and they don't seem to care.ZERO CASHIERS. Every lane is empty. Just a kid playing on his phone in front of the "10 items or less" automated checkout machines.Greed has taken over this store. They can't even think big picture.You'd think they would WANT us to fill up our carts with lots of stuff, but NO...they make it really difficult to stock up on groceries, instead.Saving a buck, and losing customers. Great plan!

Julie Powers: I've had better luck with Curbside but needed to get a few things are a bit difficult to source. Not a lot of options in the produce section, the self-checkout lines were jammed up, and almost no one was masked (except me and a few others, no staff). I can't feel safe buying meat, deli items, and prepared foods from people who don't take basic safety precautions. Fine for prepackaged items.

Kent Beeksma: Came here to pick a prescription that my Kroger near me did not have in stock and I arrived just as they were getting to go on there lunch break but they started to assist me then the pharmacist was very rude and asking me a bunch of questions to which I did not have the answer for and I was told to come back after 1:30pm when their break was done. Very rude in my opinion. I apologize for showing up right as there lunch break was about to start and he could have simply said as I walked up that they were about to close for lunch and I would have waited. Instead I got a rude attitude because I did not have answers for him on the spot. This review is only for the pharmacy not the store it self.
