Mary Sharpe: Two young men visited us to repair faulty outlets. We were having trouble with it and they informed us it was working fine. Needless to say, a month later we were having problems again. They did fix two outlets in the kitchen. I spoke to them regarding additional wiring for new light fixtures. The guy said he would refer it to the service department and they would call back with a quote. A year later, I still have not received a call. The young men that was taking the information was not paying attention to what I was telling him and I doubt he even submitted it. He was very arrogant. So essentially I paid $280 for 2 plugs to be replaced, with no followup.Service:Electrical outlet switch installation

Leah Sheridan: Used them because they had originally installed the generator that came with the house we bought. Even though the first experience was pricier than I thought for just a routine yearly maintenance on the generator it was good. Ended up hiring them to run power to our new barn. In the meantime the generator they had just checked quit working and it took them two months to fix it. The barn wiring took several months longer than quoted, we didn’t get the 400 amp service that was quoted, and the final bill was several thousand dollars more than the quote for more service. Danielle Owen: I recently purchased a plug-in hybrid vehicle and wanted a level 2 charger installed at my home. My electric utility offers a $1,000 rebate on installation of such systems and FD Hayes was listed as a recommended vendor on their informational webpage. I am very pleased with the total cost of the project and will highly recommend their services to anyone looking to add a level 2 charging system to their home or business.Update: 3/22/2023 - This setup has been great! My utility charges $4.95 for the dedicated EV metered line and is only $.08 per kWh after 11pm. The new photo shows the finished setup.

Dawn Perry: We had a tree limb fall and take down the power line which pulled our power mast from our house during the wind storm Saturday 11/5/22. Made a call to FDHayes they responded fed immediately with a phone call and continued to update us when they would be arriving which took about an hour. Joe our service person was GREAT, unfortunately the weather conditions continued, he never stopped working, we asked him to come inside during the down pour of rain and he just wanted to keep going so we could get our power back. Brian Stevens: I won't go into details but I can say that this business is very fair and has a heart. If you need an electrician, call them. They do everything in their power to show up as soon as possible, they return your phone calls and they are honest, fair, and upfront about the costs. I hopefully have no future problems, but if I do, they are my first call.
MICHIGAN HOME REHAB: We needed someone to come look at some wires that the city wanted permited. Courtney came out and look everything over and quoted us reasonable rates for some issues he saw while he was there. Very professional and on time.

Courtney came out later that day (during 8-10 inches of snow) and promptly diagnosed it was a problem with the electric coming into the house. He suggested I call Lansing BWL which I did and got the problem fixed later that evening. Courtney called back the next day making sure the issue was resolved. Mk G: In December 2021 I required some outdoor lighting fixtures be replaced for added security and called FD Hayes based on positive feedback. Had a helpful conversation with the receptionist and was forwarded to Courtney for scheduling. Within days an electrician came out and recommended J blocks for my outdoor lights, so installation was not performed that day. Electrician Joe arrived at a later date, on time, and completed the work in a timely manner. Joe was courteous, explained what he was doing, and was helpful in making additional suggestions for kitchen lighting to be scheduled at a later date. I suggested FD Hayes to my sister for work she required and their quote was almost half of what another local company quoted her! JC R.: We have had very mixed results with Wire Works. This company has been over to our house twice. The first time was a very positive experience. Chris & Jeremy came in January to change some light fixtures, fix two improperly installed light-switches, replace a GFCI, and replace an outlet box that did not meet code. These guys did good work and were very respectful of our home. Pricing was very fair & reasonable considering the scope of the work, and overall we were happy with this first visit....Which is why we were very surprised when, about a month later, we called to have some additional work done and the man who showed up (Sergei) seemingly tried to take advantage of us. We needed a ceiling fan swap and a doorbell. Nothing too extensive. Sergei then made several assumptions without bothering to assess the situation further and gave us a quote that was MUCH higher than we were told over the phone. When asked about the discrepancy, he then proceeded to blame his office staff, which sounds unprofessional, and he was politely asked to leave. Not good. In the end, we ended up having another company - Custom Electric - complete the work for us instead, which they accomplished for barely 1/3rd the cost that Sergei quoted us.In summary, I would say that if you intend to hire Wire Works, shop around first and receive at least one or two other estimates before you commit to them. (This is good advice in general anyway, when dealing with contractors.) Depending on who comes over, you could have either a very good experience, or a very bad one. Exercise caution.

Graham Goble: Called and scheduled an appointment. Day of, the time for the appointment came and went with no contact from them. I called later to figure out where the tech was and was told that his appointment before mine ran long, and that he had another appointment after mine, so they'd have to reschedule. I'm not sure why I was designated as least important, but let them know I'd be calling someone else. Pro tip: If you make an appointment, keep it. If that's too high a standard, at least call when you know you can't make it.

Ended up cancelling my appointment and going with someone else and I’m VERY glad I did.
Tony Assaff: I am very happy with the work Rick did for us.He and John hooked up our portable generator in freezing cold weather and they did a great job in record time. As it turned out, we didn’t have a connector cord, which needs to be purchased separately. They went above and beyond by running out to buy one, and then gave us a thorough demonstration on how to connect the generator and switch power to it. Just great work all around.Rick is a true professional and I highly recommend him.

Chris Adleman: I'm a general contractor and I've been looking for a good electric company for both little and large jobs. After several failures with other companies, I found Superior Electric. I called Superior after my normal electrician was a no show for several months just to do a simple job. I called Superior Thursday afternoon and left a message, I got a call back from them Friday and they asked for more info, I gave them the info Monday afternoon, and the job was done Tuesday afternoon. It's been a long time since I've seen a company who's honest, quick, does quality work, and has great customer service. I'll be calling Superior Electric for all of my small and big jobs from now on.I wanted to write this review because I have a lot of people ask me, as a general contractor, who I use for electrical work. In the past, I haven't been able to confidently give a company's name to someone. After working with Superior Electric and talking to their guys, I can tell you that it's a good company that gets work done well and quickly.

I picked Elite from a google search to do the repair. Randy (owner) was very responsive. Communicated well through the entire repair process to me and my kids. They completed the job quickly and effectively. Randy and his company, Elite Electrical, can be trusted to do the repair without you having to be there. So I sent him a message with our conversation, and he said today “it’s a phone consultation”. I’m not sure, but I don’t need an electrician to give me a phone consult. With my custom new construction, Randy took the time to customize my electrical from corner to corner of my home to best suit my needs, allowing for growth in coming years, as well as helping me stay within an allotted budget. He was very intuitive as to what I was needing as far as guidance, while still allowing me to be creative, but also made great suggestions , as well as providing honest feedback. With so many decisions to be made with electrical, his knowledge and honesty were a breath of fresh air. Joe O'Connell: Randy & his crew are fantastic! Not only do they do great work, but they are some of the most professional, honest, and friendly tradespeople I've ever encountered. I had several new outlets installed and their work was solid. I also got a quote for a new breaker panel but they didn't believe that my current one needed replacing so I didn't have it done. That's a big, expensive job, so how about that for honesty? I'm not sure that I've ever worked with anyone who cares more about customer service. Highly recommended!

Estimate to completion was done within a matter of days. Electricians were friendly, polite, and professional. I plan on going to them with all of my future electrical needs.
