Anthony: I called in to have my Samsung washer looked at after another company said what is was doing was "Normal" its not normal. I called Home Electronics and they automatically knew what the issue was and ordered the parts right on the phone with me. Parts came in, they scheduled the repair, washer runs like a dream now and no longer sounds like its about to explode through the floor. Highley reccommmend Home Electronics. They are super knowledgable and professional. Will definetly use them again.

After an attempt to repair he took my tv and said it needed to be repaired at the shop. It's been a month now. Home Electronics will not answer the phone, will not respond to text messages or Face Messenger messagesWe were contacted by Home Electronics today.The shop was closed because of the holidays and they had covid cases as well. My tv has been repaired today and will be returned tomorrow.I have upgraded my star rating.

Well last week she started showing signs of exhaustion and I wasn't ready to put her down so I took it to Home Electronics.I was told the the Main Board needed to be replaced and after they searched, found and installed the new Main Board, she's like New! Scott Scotson: The place is called "Home Electronics" so I walked in to see an older man busy at the desk and waited for him a few seconds to get my radio fixed. He just shook his head at me. That's it. Shook his head. No hi or anything. So I said "what?" as I felt like I'd done something wrong. He says, "We don't work on those" So I left. I just wanted a really simple solder on the connector for the AC power, something all electronics have. But I guess they just offer really bad customer service. He mumbled about some other store as I left, but I felt annoyed and didn't listen.

The first time was a few years ago and it was when I still had an "old school" TV. It was fixed within a week to 10 days--which is exactly what they promised. And the price was good as well.The other time I used them was in December of 2014. I had an LCD TV that was acting up. They fixed it within a week's time with no problem. If I have a TV that needs repairing, this is the place I will be taking it for sure.Also, I have an old tabletop Donkey Kong game that needs repairing. Not knowing where else to turn, I asked them to take a look at it. They gladly took the game in and found some problems right away. I appreciate their willingness and diligence in helping me out even with something that they typically don't service.
Paul Johnson: This place was great on doing some warranty work on LG's recommendation for our LCD TV. They came and picked it up and returned it at the times they said they would and it has been working ever since. Very friendly and speedy service.

A part did have have to be ordered. With in a few days they were back and our tv is working the like the day we bought it :). John Customer: I called Home Electronics a few years back about getting my 1975 Pioneer SX-939 Stereo Receiver fixed. The lady who answered the phone asked me what was the year of manufacture of the unit. When I told her she started laughing very loudly on the phone and sounded just the the Wicked Witch of the West, you know : "WHO ha ha ha, WHO ha ha ha." Incredibly unprofessional loud swinish behavior. Not a chance I will ever take anything there (WHO ha ha ha)..

The staff worked through diagnosing the problem, ordered and replaced a part, and kept me informed throughout the process! The repair costs were very reasonable and the player seems to be playing great! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Even though they didn’t have the exact spec, they looked around and tried helping me as much as they could (ended up getting the right capacitors). Very nice people and straightforward. The second time I went in looking for a peculiar shaped woofer for my vizio sound system, the went above and beyond trying to help. They gave me tips and tricks on how I could possible overcome my situation. Small business but I highly recommend and they’re very professional with what they do.

John Customer: I took a vintage receiver and a turntable there for service. I wasn't thrilled about the place. Seemed like an unprofessional fly by night type of thing. I don't know if there are any certified electronic specialists there. They did tell me it might take awhile to fix. 5 months later, I decided to pick the stuff up. It was still sitting in the same place I left it, apparently never touched. At least they gave me back the $40 I deposited.

Matthew Jackson: Absolutely the worst. Not only is my tv not fixed the service provider that came out here was absolutely rude and very unprofessional... I get it's a "side" job but at least act like you want to keep that side job through Samsung. I get its a manufacturing defect but the attitude all around was horrible. Not only were they supposed to call me and let me know that they were heading this way from another town well over 20 mins away which I don't see why one of them could of taken the time and call. They schedule the appointments as if you don't have a life and tell you when they are setting the appointment. Which is unprofessional and hard to work with. If you have a Samsung TV so not allow this people to come out or find someone else.. oh and then they don't even clean off the screen after replacing the panel. So much for courtesy.
Joshua S: Great work for Samsung TV Repair. Our 2019 QLED died on us and I put in a Samsung repair ticket. This shop was the authorized repair center, so I called for an update and Luann let me know that because the warranty had expired in march, it would be costly to repair. On her suggestion I called back and spoke to Samsung who authorized an out of warranty repair! After a few days waiting for parts to show up, Dan & Dan scheduled an appointment and replaced the defective screen. Very friendly and professional, would definitely use them again.

I brought a turntable for a cartridge repair and long story short, they were not able to fix. Still charged quite the penny and were quite rude after I suggested that it wasn’t worth messing with anymore and I would pick up. If Luanne and Dan are going to advertise as the experts, they need to provide expert service and support.

When he first saw it, he could give me a historical background. I do realize it will take a while if possible to repair, due to COVID. Not an issue. I've waited over twenty years.

Danny Pettit: Lou Anne and her husband are the best! They fixed my Samsung set in only two hours. They were a breath of fresh air when it came to customer service, professionalism and good old fashion personality! She also set up an in home service for another problem I had with the set and was out only three days later to complete the service. As long as they are in business, I will never buy anything but a Samsung because they are the authorized service center in the area and are a joy to deal with.
ND R: Incredibly unprofessional. I would give less than one star if possible. I contacted Electronic Specialists on a Tuesday asking about service on an older tv. The person who responded was very nice and said they had to speak to the tech and get back with me the next morning. I never heard back from them, so i emailed her to check in on it. When she responded, she asked for my phone number so the tech could call me. When the tech called me, he said he could fix it as it was a programming issue. He said it was a $200 service call. I said wow, that's expensive for a service call, why is it so expensive? he responded with "well we can part ways and say good day then." As i had another place say they charged $40 for a service call, i stated that to him and that i was curious why his was so expensive. He responded by saying "well that other guy must be way smarter than me obviously, if he only charges that much." i said i didn't appreciate the attitude as i was just asking why it was so expensive, and if it would be cheaper if i brought the tv to him. He again said, "well by all means take it to the other place. they are obviously much smarter than me. much smarter." At that point I had enough. I was incredibly professional and was trying to ask why a huge price difference. I should have taken notice of the other reviews by people stating how they were terrible at customer service. Incredibly unprofessional and honestly, just a terrible person.UPDATE: Please take note of the owners response, and it will show what other reviewers are saying. In the service industry, what does it matter what the customer might think the repair would cost? If you are up front and honest in your dealings, your cost is your cost. $200 for a service call is ridiculous by any measure. I would have been treated differently had i told them i had a lower quote? Why? The only answer here is because they are purposely trying to gouge the customer. Also please note, the owner "apologizes" over 4 months after the fact, yet, the customer never received a phone call trying to remedy the issue. On top of that, I tried to talk to the owner after it happened two separate times. The first time I was told he would call me back. After not hearing from them, I called a second time only to have the woman answering the phone say she was sorry. Again, not a way for a small local business to conduct themselves. It gives small hardworking family shops a bad name.

They set up a call with the "electronics specialists" i get a text asking for pictures of the issue, they come out and replace my panel, the next day the panel has light blotches all over and looks terrible, i call samsung again and samsung sends another service ticket to the "electronics specialists" they yet again text me asking for pictures and then tell me that its completely normal and then tell me if i dont like their ruling then i need to call samsung again, so i call samsung again and they saw the pictures and said "no that isnt normal for our product and they need to actually go out to service the tv properly to determine whether it needs replaced or repaired again" i have been in electronics sales for 15 years, im not stupid and this company sure like to treat their customers like they are ignorant just so they dont have to do anything.

Electronics Specialists had them rebuilt to factory specs in 2 weeks!The bonus is Daniel and Luanne are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Chris Smith: I have a pioneer SX 950 from the mid seventies that needed repair. I took it to another company prior without any success. Found this place online and after talking to the owner felt confident he knew how to repair this unit. dropped it off with a diagnostic fee and after 2-3 weeks he found several parts that needed replaced. he took the time and made sure it was fixed. There is not many people left that have the knowledge to repair vintage electronics, it's not cheap to repair vintage electronics so make sure you have something worth repairing. It was more sedimental than monetary for me and I'm grateful that I found this place.the unit sounds better than ever since I've owned itThank you

Deny it was them did NOT perform said standard test. No way you could have made test call. Because they broke it so no way to make ANY CALLS. Which is exactly why you gave it back to me dead so I couldnt tell right away, and shoved me out the door. If my phone doesnt et fixed, we will be taking them to court to hold them accountable. DONT TAKE ANYTHING TO THEM!!!!!!!!!

hattan arif: This is a hidden gem in Lansing, MI. Amazing store that was recommended to me by Digilink computers store in Lansing. I had a laptop that required the USB-C charging port to be replaced. They took the laptop and made free diagnostics to figure out the problem and then I received a call from them with pricing and estimated repair time. Super wonderful knowledgeable guys 10/10. Mike Lefke: Will never go back. Had a new hinge put in my Samsung Flip 4. That was the only thing wrong with it. Now I have no service. Can not call, text, or receive either. Took it back, they said their is nothing wrong with what they did. Part of their so called "tests" is to make a phone call after repairing the phone. They said they did. However, according to Verizon records, they did not. So now I have to mail the phone back to Samsung.

I called and they told me as long as I got my phone to them before 4:30 they could have my Samsung galaxy s21 screen replaced in the same day. They said it would take 2 hours to have it done. I dropped it right at 3 o’clock and got a text at 4 that my screen had already been replaced and was good to go.
Darcy S: We filed a claim thru Verizon & chose the Lansing location of UBreakIFix/Asurion. I called to confirm they had the screen in stock & they did, saying that their location isn’t offered if they don’t have the supplies, which is good to know. I was given an estimate of 1-2 hours, which worked perfectly while we were at a lacrosse tournament. I stopped for gas & no sooner had I gotten back to my seat, I got a text that it was done. 27 MINUTES!! It was amazing! We went straight back, still between games, and picked it up. It works as it should, recognizing touch, able to type, etc. They were incredible! This is the second time I’ve used them, and both times got great, quality, fast service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jay Jones: Paid almost $100 a to have my PlayStation 4 professionally cleaned and there was still dust and debris and the controller ports, as well as dust on the outside of the consoles ventilation holes. I was amazed at the lack of care to make it look like a professional job after I was told it would be a thorough cleaning in comparison to the $50 cleaning. The turnaround was significantly faster than they told me, which I appreciated, but it definitely shows the job was rushed when they could have simply taken a cloth and wiped down the outside to make sure there wasn't any dust left on PlayStation.

Franklin Mead: Ordered a power supply from these guys off of NewEgg. Ordered on a Tuesday morning, they said it’ll be a week or so until I get it. Much to my surprise, they had the label created that day and shipped out, saying I’ll get it that Friday. Awesome, I thought. That Thursday (2 days later) I received my part, which was incredibly packaged. I swear it looked like they sold me bubble wrap with a free power supply included. Needless to say, I installed it and my TV has seen no issues since! I highly recommend these guys!

Being a little confused on who knows what, it cost me $11.50 to send wrong part back to them, and they've sent another wrong part so that's another $11.50 it'll cost me to send it back to them! Asking for a refund on part plus $23.00 for postage of returning wrong parts. I supplied them all the numbers and pics off my tv and board but they just can't get it right! Wondering how long will they drag out the refund? Going to call "3 on your side" a local tv station that deals with these type of situations, I wouldn't recommend this business to get tangled up with for nobody, avoid like the plague!
Chris Michels: This was a very unique TV buying experience but I left with an awesome Samsung Curve at a price a few hundred dollars below what I would have paid at Best Buy. The owner provided service himself and more than answered all my questions and even questions I didn’t have. He even went so far as to offer a great 45 day warranty.

Pamela Austin: After waiting over 6 hours the Geek Squad never remotely came into my PC to help with the problem I called about. They had an outage. They do not issue partial credits for this major fail. They can charge you for the annual plan then not support you when needed. Also a waste of time to have auto menu talk you thru steps that need to be redone, once a Rep finally comes on the phone. Waste of time and waste of annual fee.
Dan Gunter: Insignificant wait at the start of the dinner hour. Fast friendly and quite helpful service as we had questions about some of the entrees. Roasted brussel sprouts appetizer was very nice. Completely awesome ribeye with excellent mashed potatoes as a side. My wife loved her sirloin with creamed spinach for her side dish. All in all, just a wonderful night out, this is why they are always high on our list I'll places to go.

Kris Gibbons: I would like to commend all the Geek Squad employees on their tolerance for being verbally harassed by customers. When I went in today to have my phone screen fixed, I witnessed several older customers becoming very angry and frustrated with their simple wait times. All the Geek Squad agents kept their cool and explained everything to their customers to the best of their ability. The agent who helped me and who fixed my phone, Matt, was fantastic. I appreciated that he could admit to me when he needed to ask another agent for help or needed to look something up. Matt was able to explain to me what he needed to do in order to fix my phone and helped me understand everything He fixed my phone screen in a timely manner and stayed professional the whole time. I would definitely use Geek Squad again!

Jim: Trying too get my phone fixed through geek squad. I call them to set up an appointment .the phone operator tells me to call 1-800-geeksquad or the store. Called the geek 4 times and got hung up on all 4 times after waiting on hold gfo 15 min race. Try one last time, on hold for 19 min with geek squad when someone answers oysi the same operator italkeI to the first time. She then tells me she can set the appointment up for me. Why she couldn't have don't this the first time instead of wasting my time for an hour. This poor customer service is why I stay away from Best buy. Everything is always a Hassel and expensive. I will post more after my appointment.
Chandra Babu Arangi: Best Buy Geek squad would have paid google not to give an option of 0 rating.I got remote start installed for my Honda 14 on 11/25. They messed up car seat heater switch and claimed that it was an issue even before getting there. The geek squad guy made a note on the documentation provided to me but did not mention anything about it. I realized before leaving the place and when questioned he claimed it was there already. He suggested to file a claim if I want to . So , I went to the front desk and complained. She told that a supervisor will be calling me on Monday but no one called yet .After coming home that day , I realized car heater doesn’t turn on when I do a remote start. So , I went today to have it checked and my appointment is next Sunday . They claim they are busy . I don’t understand why they would need a lot of time to provide crappy horrible sucking service . Then again I went to the front desk and asked for a quicker appt as the issue is clearly with the set up. The rep told that they have just one guy this week and I will have to wait . I requested him to inform his supervisor about my concern and seemingly he sent a text.Strong advice . Don’t even think of going to this place for service . They are incompetent. May be we can learn and do a better job.Update : seems like they have sold me an incompatible device . Got to know after my second appointment. Meaning they tricked me by installing the same incompatible device first time. Suckers. They just want to escape from this.
