Osmanis Manresa: In this place there is a cashier who attended me on Friday, July 24 around 3:50 pm, I stood in line to pay behind the client who was being attended to and I did not notice that there was another client waiting and It was his turn, the cashier caught my attention as if I had done it on purpose, I apologized and tried to put myself behind the client who was on duty, they told me that there was no problem that I came to the front to attend to me and I Accept, but the cashier kept calling my attention and even told the client that I needed a pat on the hand for me to learn, the client said that it was not necessary because I had little merchandise to pay. But the cashier kept insisting, I do not understand, if I apologize and everything, she keeps trying to embarrass me, jokingly and seriously, in reality I do not know her as a cashier, I think that there are limits between clients and worker of a place, I do not know you, I am not your friend, I am just a client who needs respect. I went to pay with her almost 6 months ago and when it was my turn to pay she told me to go with the other cashier that she had the right to rest and that she had finished, I think they are not answers to someone, I repeat there are limits between the cashier and client. your response should have been "please can you go to the other cashier because I am done with my shift ect. and apologize ... I think they are not professional.

Colleen Cade: One of the BEST Family Dollars in town. They have carrs which is a plus right there. The Family Dollar on Michigan ave and the one on MLK and Williw no carrs either. People take them out and keep going. Its been months though they need to get more carrs and use their heads and put 6 ft poles on them lije this place so it can't get out tge door and says right on it Can't Take Outside.Also their prices seem to be higher. They sure aren't using the extra $$ for more CARTS.They are ALL LOW ON CATFOOD ...buying singles get expensive. Alexandra Wemyss: During my check out the machine asked me if I wanted cash back. I selected $50.00 cash back and agreed to the $1.50 transaction fee. The cashier then told me I could not get cash back and abruptly explained that it was my fault I did not read the sign on the counter that stated no cash back. I explained that I did not see the sign. She then proceeded to be very condescending saying that there was nothing to be done and I would not get my $50.00. She was very demeaning and vulgar making me feel inferior. I asked why the machine not only asked me if I wanted cash back but also stated there was a $1.50 transaction fee. She continued to be very condescending repeating that I should have read the sign. I explained that there should not be an option to select cash back on the card machine if they did not give cash back. She said there was nothing they could do and I was out $50.00. I felt she could have handed the situation better. The last couple of days for me had been intolerable for me and I felt like she had no regards for my feelings. I will never return to family dollar.

Corinna Billing: The cashier was very nice and friendly. She suggested a couple of dresses for me, as I was looking for some summer clothes to keep cool. She said that the knit dresses were very comfortable and that she had purchased one in every color. Lol...Unfortunately I couldn't find my size, but I just might check another Family Dollar store. It's been awhile since I've had great customer service like that. I really appreciated her friendliness and willingness to help. Thank you ma'am 😊

I can't wear mask due to health reasons , but it happens to be i had gotten the manager that day and I explained what I was looking for if they had and reason why I called ,. I told him I couldn't wear masks if they could have it at check out and this is what I look like and what I wearing if I could just come in and pay for it and walk out he was very happy to work with me on it and I really appreciate him for it.

Walked around for a bit and wasn’t asked once if I needed help finding anything, get to the counter and no hi or anything the associate just starts ringing my stuff up while again chatting with her other unprofessional buddy. I frequent this location and never have issues. I’m annoyed that this was less than, but I guess you really can’t expect much from dollar store employees.

Salome Foster: OK...there are NO Family Dollars near me in North Texas so when I see one I usually stop. Well this weekend is our Family Picnic so I needed some aluminum pans.First the cashier charged me for 4 aluminum pans when I only had 3. It took the manager Brittany, several minutes to come up from the sales floor to refund me the cost of the other pan. So, then I was given the refund and the pans were put back in my bag but when I got to my sisters house, I only had 2 of the 3 pans I paid for. (Sigh) I called the number on my receipt and the manager answered the phone. I told her who I was and asked her if she accidentally kept one of my pans. She said no but said I could come back to the store and get another one. Huh?? If the pan is not there why give me a free one? Anyway I opted NOT to make another trip to FD and may think twice about visiting again.

This store currently has $4.25 pint ice cream, soon it will have $1.25 version. Soon 8 oz beef patty will replace $8.00 pound ground beef. In the process of conversion. This location is bike distance from home, they will see me more frequently.

keyz2 thacity: That new assistant manager (heavy set Caucasian woman with dark hair) is real close to getting cussed out. A few weeks ago my wife and I entered the store. She didn’t say anything to us but made a point to greet the people that walked in directly behind us. I noticed it but just brushed it off. A few minutes later as we are shopping through the store we noticed her following us (the only black people in the store). We ignored it and kept shopping. A few minutes after, she comes to the end of the aisle we were in and in a rude tone says “Can I help you?” As if we were not supposed to be there or something. We ignored her finished our shopping and left…… Today my wife went into the store to purchase some bleach, she dropped her chime debit card inside of the store. After walking around a few minutes searching for it she asked this same assistant manager if she had seen the card, she said “NO, you must’ve left it at home”. My wife then came out to the car which I was sitting in to make sure she didn’t drop it in the car. It was not there so she goes back into the store and asks a different employee if they seen the card they said no, then proceeded to ask the same lady that my wife just asked. This lady now says “oh yea I have it in the drawer someone just turned it in” That was a blatant lie seeing as tho no other customers were in the store and no one had come in or out the entire time we were there. She had the card the whole time and watched my wife searching for it and lied and probably would not have given it back had her coworker not said anything. She needs to be terminated or at minimum receive some customer service and diversity and inclusion training. Don’t get me wrong not all the employees are like that, Steve is awesome and I loved Barbie when she was there, but this new chick gotta go.

Daniel McPherson: The reason it gets 2 stars isn’t the people that work here , they are fine it’s the inaccuracies of prices like in photo trash bags say $2.00 they charged me $2.50 the 4 ok of sponges are $1.65 they charged me $1.75 I will say it seems sneaky and will rip you off if you don’t watch how things are rung up. Rant Over. Rant Started The second time in a week added photo cat litter is $5.75 it charged me $6.75 I don’t know what’s going on but I about to leave Family Dollar and go to Dollar General just up the road instead so think about that Corporate. This happens so much now I’m going to hold up the line and look through the receipt every time from now on. I do want to add there was a excellent Manager from last year that worked there I wish I could remember her name but it’s seems ever since she’s no longer there things are a bit off. I will update as of 02-26-22 yes prices are now reflecting on shelf tags correctly things are going up but at least I know the correct prices now,

It seemed busy today which is nice.. people were a mix of wearing masks and not, so that was good to see also!The cashier/ worker Natasha was great! Friendly and helpful!
