Sam Frydenlund: The food is great but what makes this place stand out is the people that work there. After 4 times eating there every single person gets what good service is aboutI don't know who hires and trains but just wow! I am a lifetime customer from now on
Trevor Benoit: The service at Capital Prime is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated, but it is also relaxed and inviting. The restaurant is perfect for a special occasion or a night out with friends or family.I highly recommend Capital Prime to anyone looking for a great steak or seafood dinner. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect. You won't be disappointed. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. It was juicy and flavorful. The seafood was also delicious. The scallops were perfectly seared and the lobster was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. rId a great experience at Capital Prime.Overall, I had a great experience at Capital Prime. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great steak or seafood dinner.
jessica checkeroski: Service is great, food lacks flavor
Patrick Danahy: Had a fantastic dinner. Tuna Tartar was fresh, colorful, and boomin' with flavor. The 14oz Ribeye, which I added the Blue Cheese crusted topping, was phenomenal. Also phenomenal, with excellent descriptive knowledge of the menu, on point service, and a friendly welcoming demeanor, was Abby. She was a joy
Kerry Lohr: Easter buffet was OK. Not as great as their normal menu is however. But overall, a nice experience for Easter.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tammy Smith: My fiancé and I made a reservation here for our anniversary this evening, but ended up leaving. We were seated in the bar area, which would normally have been fine, but it was at least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the restaurant. Prior to our server arriving at the table, he had gone up to the host stand to ask if we could possibly be seated in another area. Despite there being plenty of other available areas to be seated, the host indicated it wasn’t possible. At this juncture, we decided to leave, and the host didn’t bother to stop us from doing so either. Needless to say, we will not be returning to that establishment, and will continue to give our business to Bowdie’s.,

Geoffroy Laumet: The food was great but for this price I expected better. The atmosphere is nice. The fact that you need to pay an extra $6 to have onions on a $46 ribeye is ridiculous.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

garrett derkks: In an attempt to book a valentines dinner, they never called and their inbox was full. Disgustingly unprofessional. I likely will not see the deposit i paid either. Don't wast your time!!
A Farooq: Stopped by for a quick lunch and decided to go for the cup of tomatoe bisque. Was very good actually. Next time will order the bowl!
Pamela Sawatzki: I had the vegetarian burger with fries and the bartender made a fabulous drunk (@the suggestion I enjoyed rum). The service is what made this experience!
Theresa Trice- Nelson: We will not return. Had I used the bathroom before eating, I would not have eaten there. It was mid afternoon and empty inside; however, the bathrooms were nasty, no soap (water was in the bottle) and vomit all over the stalls. The manager (who denied he was manager) seemed only to pacify us with our concerns. It was also very unfortunate that items on the menu couldn't be ordered. We often dine at many different restaurants across our wonderful state... This is at the bottom.
Brianne Kowalczyk: Went there with a group who rented the banquet area. The filet mignon, smashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus was spectacular! Will definitely have to visit again on my own when I am in the area.
Tamara Graham: Great service and atmosphere. Great food too!
Bill Heinze: I have been calling during scheduled hours showing on the website. I have been calling for over a week and I have not gotten any type of a response. I have left messages each time I have called. What does it take to get a call back from a staff member. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
Drea Est: Went to a work party here, and was very worried about feeling out of place due to the upscale impression, however not only was it perfectly delicious but my concerns couldn't have been more mislead! Great place!
Karen Walker: Great location for meetings folks for food and drinks
Abbasi Ujjainwala: Good service
Gebo's Garage: First class service, friendly staff, great drinks, good food; combined this is a recipe for continued success. I was here for a gathering that was hosted upstairs. Yes, there is even an elevator! Truly a great experience all the way around. Definitely recommend this place for either a cozy cocktail or maybe a corporate event. The layout is perfect!
Michal Marynowski: Slow, took an hour to receive dinner even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Lackluster flavor at best and not even served hot!
Eugene Vallin: The food is sub-pair at best, and when you look into the kitchen and around the restaurant you can see why.. there is no pride, no passion, and no customers.. this company with their slop shops. Troppo's have become inconsequential and irrelevant . This is 4 days of wonderful homemade squash soup. (Burn by Chef Becky Jones). (See photes)the current head chef ( dan rey) menus are basic at best, you can see he(dan rey) has pick off other menu in the area and has fallen flat.. all (dan rey's) restaurants are empty (all) just because troppo's feeds the parasites of the Capital and House, didn't give (dan) clairvoyance to the food scene on the east side of the state.. His standard is fast, fast, frozen, pre made and reheated...I appreciated in Lincoln, Nebraska and everything I did was 💯 from scratch.. I have won more awards then troppo's.
William Thompson: Troppo wine poor (small pour)Longhorn poor (larger pour)Troppo cost $9.00Longhorn cost $6.00Similar wines. The bartender was offended when I asked about the wine pour. What ever happened to common sense and courtesy requirements when hiring people. This restaurant needs to revisit how to make customers feel welcome. Customers are your life blood and with today’s social media , staff should be extra kind and welcoming. Troppo is starting to get a reputation for treating the customers poorly.
Ronald Pacis: I havent been to troppo in years. Thanks for reminding me why i dont come here to eat.
Woadi_: Good chicken Cesar salad
Dernali: I feel like I was just punked. Since Troppo charges an up charge of 3.5% for credit card use - I started using cash. Today I was told they don’t give change out they always round up to the nearest dollar. This is insane!!!!I won’t be coming back.
Elizabeth Deatrick: Great atmosphere, delicious food. Nice staple to the downtown community. Congratulations on 20 years.

keife duffy: The food was tasty and the drinks as well. But I can't say it justifies the price at all, especially with the portion size.

Lisa LAD: Tried their new sandwhich, seafood. It was horrible and I didn't even eat 1/2. When asked by the waiter, I told him. He said "Let me try and get this taken off for you". He couldn't do that apparantly because we were charged full price. That's OK, I have a lot of other options for places to eat in the Eastwood Town Center, and I will be doing so in the future. Did not leave here with a "good taste" in my mouth. Even giving me 1/2 off to show they value my business would have had me not hesitate to re-visit another time, but not now....

Elizabeth Mestelle: We had reservations for noon and were seated immediately. The restaurant was really busy with large parties for University graduations, but service was amazing. This was my first visit and I was really impressed. The food was hot and delicious. We were not rushed by anyone yet our every need was taken care of quickly. I hope to return again soon.Parking: Ample parking was available both in front of and beside the restaurant. There was convenient curbside drop-off right at the front door too.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, so very wheelchair friendly.
Tina Adams: Environment was welcoming. Scallops and lobster were a bit tough, steak wasnt seasoned, and menu options are overpriced for what you get.
Brenda Pattison: My son brought me here for my birthday dinner. We were lucky and seated at a booth but the tables in the middle were too close together. I watched people trying to push their chairs out to get in or out and could barely do so because the tables were packed in like sardines and there was no room for people to move around or try to get through. My son ordered lobster bisque which I admit I've never had but I thought it would be something other than liquid soup with nothing else in it. There was not one piece of seafood anywhere and maybe it's supposed to be that way but it did not taste good at all and it was lukewarm. The crab cake that he had was unlike any crab cake I've ever had! It was wretched, and did not taste like crab in any way, shape or form. I actually wondered if it was going bad or something. His shrimp was way way over cooked and tough. I had lobster and it was okay but again it didn't really have much taste and the portions were tiny, three bites tops. I didn't expect to get a large portion with lobster but come on. The asparagus was good, although we were each only given three pieces, and I wanted to order a salad but I refuse to pay another $9 or 10 for a side salad that would normally come with a meal in an expensive restaurant like this. I don't normally post reviews but this was really bad and really expensive.
Katrina Kaufman: Celebrated MSU Graduation 5/5/23 with family and friends and the manager referred to us as COLOREDS. As a local resident with family and friends in town for the graduation the use of such a word in 2023 not only is racist but an embarrassment for the Lansing area. I often eat here and this comment has made the food no longer pleasant. @MitchellsFM your staff need Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training immediately.

They offered a wide variety of delectable dishes ranging from breakfast staples like waffles, eggs and potatoes, to delicacies that'd leave your tastbuds smiling, such as prime rib, cheesecakes, parfaits, marinated chicken, and more to bout. Becca Pratt: We have had so many amazing meals at Red Haven, I don’t even know where to start! The service is always top notch, the food delicious, and the drinks are amazing. Love the new concept of themed dinners, we recently went to a wine pairing and it was the perfect date night!
Michael Elliott: Absolutely worthless people. There's a reason this hole in the wall shut it doors. Useless.
Garrett Descoteaux-Friday: Went here for an event with work. As such, there was no actual menu provided, but all the food was great.Parking: Parking is in the back. Entrance is under the Breese way.

Ioana Sonea: Ordered the Thanksgiving "all the sides" option (everything except the turkey and dessert). Generous portions. Some of the sides were excellent such as the beet, ricotta and greens salad and the stuffed delicata squash! Other items (the chestnut bisque, stuffing, mashed potatoes) were extremely salty - we ended up throwing most of those away uneaten.Because so many of the dishes on offer are creative and interesting, I'd order again from them, hoping this was a fluke..
Elizabeth Woodford: First time visiting, we celebrated my sister's birthday a day late. My goodness was the bisque soup amazing. The smoked turkey with cranberry jalapeno relish was also delectable. I wad disappointed as their menu stated dessert was pumpkin pavlova and we were served apple ginger crisp. Too much ginger to the point it was spicy. Though I love spicy food, it wasn't great. Might have been due to the build up on pumpkin pavlova that made my palate dislike the dish more than the heavy handed ginger did. I'm also a huge critic of dessert as I bake quite a bit at home. The crumble was only oats with spices, disappointed in the dessert for sure
Robbyhoody27: Omg soooooo good wish I could do this more often. Please keep vegetarian options up as me and my wife would love to come to more dinners the squash dinner was absolutely amazing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
John Jester: I took my daughter here for her 13th birthday and could not have been happier with the experience the food was, as always exquisite, carefully prepared, and sumptuous. Individually the dishes were exceptional but put together as a whole they were so complimentary of each other as to leave me craving more. This is absolutely a dining experience unparalleled in the local area, part of me wishes this was in Lansing so it was closer to me rather than located where it is in a semi obscure place in meridian township but I would travel quite a distance to eat here no matter where it was located.
Heather Rogers: It was my first time going to Red Haven Farm the other day and the waiter was wonderful and one of the starter dishes was delicious. I forget the name but it has portebello mushrooms in it. I usually dislike mushrooms but this was great. I was disappointed though by the shrimp burger. It was too salty and too fishy tasting. The french fries that came with it were so so, I've had better but I've also had worse. I appreciated the house made ketchup which had a very natural taste. I don't know if I'll go back again because of the shrimp burger but possibly other dishes are better.
Catrina Denniston: It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting. It has an open kitchen and everyone works well together. The dishes were all cooked to perfection.Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Carolina Munguia: The drinks were good but the food was just ok, definitely not worth that price. The duck was seasoned well but there were two tiny portions, not enough to call it an entree. The lamb shank lacked flavor, it needed seasoning and the side that came with it was overcooked. Not worth the hype in my opinion and grossly overpriced.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes …More
Bethany: Service was great, food was wonderful! Tyler was very helpful with the menu and answered all our questions. Definitely worth the trip!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes …More
Christa Stachura: Not only did we have amazing service but the food was phenomenal. We had the shrimp burger, walleye, pork belly and duck for main entrees. The duck melted like butter in your mouth and the shrink burger was fantastic. We had the bread, mushroom risotto and scallops for apps and the scallops were the best I've had. For dessert we had the roasted pear and meringue and both were delightful.
Christopher Vos: Just amazing! the dessert pavlova was exceptional!
Ryan Cragg: It was rather good. Items are on the pricier side and smaller portions. The drinks were very good.
Nick Garlinghouse: Red Haven has a modern feel and good quality cocktails and food. The duck stew was amazing! The tacos were a bit overcooked and extremely dry, but the waitress brought out some sauce that helped with that. Overall, it was a good meal and a nice place.

Capitol City Grille: what do users think?
Chautauqua Belle: Great steak
Haley Cislo: came here with my entire dance company for a dance convention, three days long. when my children and I arrived we were greeted by hostile servers who immediately told us in a rude manner that it was going to take at least 40 minutes for us to receive “anything“. she then directed us to the bar, saying that was our best bet only for the bartender to proceeded to tell my children to “go sit at a table you can’t be at the bar” and when i ordered them Cokes, handed me water bottles.you would think knowing a 3 day convention was coming into town that this establishment would be fully staffed and ready for business. working sucks for everyone but hey, smile, let’s bust this out and make money.but no, let’s be miserable and rude.
Keith Canavan: We ordered a Vodka Martini with olives on the side, Chicken tenders, and a Hamburger. The Chicken was slimy, Hamburger Bun was so soggy it couldn’t be picked up and the lettuce was old and bruised. The martini was also very very dirty and wasn’t ordered dirty. The server was walking around with a cup of coffee for 15 min while the credit card sat on the edge of the table. Eventually we got up and walked to the door to be able to pay.Just go somewhere else.
Linda Hansen: Excellent steak dinner. Cooked perfectly. Very kind staff.
Matthew Hulet: One of the best hotel restaurants I've been to
Brock Lahart: Breakfast service was great! Bar staff... approaching two stars.
Pete D.: Food was great, service could have been a littler faster.I would've given 5-stars if the service was a little bit more expedient. Food was amazing, staff was friendly and felt authentic...had to wait for my meal to come a little longer than expected and the floor didn't seem too saturated. Regardless, still recommended!
BeeZeeArt: We were in town for an anime convention and working in the artist alley. We had a very short break before some people in our group needed to go staff another event so time was important to us. Our group called ahead to be sure we had time and we were told we could be seated as soon as we arrived and that there was no wait. We walked over from the convention center only to find a line and we were told there was a 20 minute wait to be seated. The man at the head of the line was incredibly rude and basically accused us of lying about the phone call and said we couldn't possibly have spoken to anyone because he hadn't answered the phone and he wanted to know the name of this person we claimed we spoke to. He refused to believe us or make any accommodations. We wouldn't have wasted our time if they hadn't told us we could be seated immediately. Then he started listing other restraunts we could go instead. I was shocked at his attitude. And the place wasn't even that busy which had us doubly confused, we could see plenty of open tables were we stode. It seems the only positive thing about this restraunt is the location. We will skip it for future events.
Jonathan Troost: Sat for 20 minutes. No service. Nope.
KarI Marx: Great service, great food!!! Ann (waitress) was awesome! So funny and thoughtful!Only complaint,Manager, Brad (I think) was rude to waitress right in front of us! Hate seeing employees not treated with the respect they deserve. Without them there's no need for management!5 stars for Ann!!!
Rebecca Blakeney: $11.16 for a lunch buffet isn't bad, but no one took my drink order--at all, and I wasn't even acknowledge untill they took my finished plate away and gave me the bill. The food was not bad, but hardly anything to choose from. They were conveniently located for the conference that was being held at the hotel, but not a place I would have chosen otherwise.
L P: because food is very good
Sarah Collins: Friday night with my 15 year old daughter. Wings were perfectly sauced and spicey and the Lobster mac-n-cheese was loaded with lobster. Our server was on point and freindly. The portion sizes are large and we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. The menu is concise but something for everyone. The chef made cheddar mac-n-cheese for a friend and it wasn't on the menu. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of wine, food, and service. The grille doesn't initially grab your attention with decor but I highly recommend it.
Brittany Hamby: Food sucks for being so priceyMy daughter and I had to stay here a total of three times (in the hotel)First time our waitress was rude and got our order wrongSecond time we had no problemsThird time my daughter and I waited for 15 minutes for breakfast (they weren't busy ) a Asian girl kept looking at us giving us dirty looks as she walked back and forth to the kitchenFinally one of the workers demanded that she waited on us and took us to a tableShe nearly threw our orange juice on the table (sorry you hate your job)The man who demanded her to wait on us finally apologied for us having to wait so longLuckily this will be the last time we will have to stay here
Mark GARZA: So it's a hotel bar but I enjoy it. The flat bread was really good.
DavidAndLeahKaye Weathers: Sure, a bit pricey, but the service was good and the food was phenomenal!

Cask & Company Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?
Luanda Coleman: First time here! I think this may be a new hang out/ business meeting spot. Our service provider was Mike and he was amazing and so patient while my guest and I sat for A LONG TIME to catch up. He didn’t make us feel uncomfortable at all. We felt welcome to stay for as long as we wanted. My Philly beef egg rolls were FIRE! Drinks were nice and strong! So good! Great place for sure!
Chris Janderwski: Food was over priced for the taste. Was unable to sit at a booth cause they were “reserved”. Even though the hour we were at the restaurant - 3 sat empty.
Alexandria Barron: Will forever recommend Cask and Co to anyone looking for a great meal with nice ambiance. The sushi is to die for and the bartenders always strive to provide the best service possible. Syd is the bartender I have most frequently, and for that I am thankful! Whether I want to chat or take time to myself to reflect, Syd always adheres to my needs while making a hell of a drink!
Angela Firlit: Stopped in for dinner the other night, food and service was fantastic and our server Sydney was amazing!! Will come again.
David Montag: Been here twice in two weeks and the service has been exceptional, the food/menu is overwhelming in a good way with so many options and different cuisines to choose from, was not disappointed. I’d like to shout out Victoria and Kenzie, our two servers and Nathan, the GM, and one of the heads chefs, Jeff. I look forward to my next visit. Great job!!
Kimmy K: We were recommended to go here. It was fine, but the food was not as good as expected. I was recommended to try the Mac n' Cheese with pulled pork. It was good, but not amazing. We had a wonton appetizer which was fair. It was a large menu, but almost everything had too much hot seasoning. I wish that we would have tried the sushi, but neither of us felt like sushi at the time. It looked fresh.
Michael Thompson: First time checking the place out. Had the Elk Sausage Po' Boy and some coffee. Coffee was great and the Po' Boy is one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. Great cook and flavor on the sausage and the texture of the bread was perfect. Great bar and FOH service all around. Looking forward to the next visit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Brockton Feltman: I have lived in Lansing for a number of years and have not found a better place than Cask & Co./Front 43. Great atmosphere, fun patrons, and excellent staff. Jordan, Sydney and Grace are especially welcoming and friendly, doing their jobs with deftness and skill while keeping up that fun dialogue one expects at a great bar. Thumbs up all the way!
Sadie Boone: Great service and drinks at the bar. Grace made our evening!
Kolton Burns: Payton was great

Jakup Abedin: This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel. I gave their grilled chicken salad a shot and the sauces absolutely blew me away. The ranch tasted similar to Wing Stop recipe and they have this raspberry vinaigrette and it was a good ole time. In between bites of different cheese, veggies and egg and a mix of well seasoned chicken -it felt like a party in my mouth!! Waitress was very friendly and said she's tried the entire menu and made recommendations. How often do you hear that? Presentation was fantastic too. Can't wait to try other things later on.Vegetarian options: Different types of salad
Bruce Hicks: Good breakfast both mornings there, the young man waiter was courteous and very professional. Made you feel at home.
Spartan Prepper: Great food and service, inside the hilton but you'd never know, very relaxed atmosphere, open kitchenParking: Easy parking at Hilton, hidden gem insideDietary restrictions: Cooks are very good about preparing special requests
Ryan: Food was good but very over priced. $14 for a chicken sandwich…no side, just the sandwich…
Nancy L: Delicious food and great staff! Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed dinner here both nights and a breakfast. But the staff was the best part of my stay. I highly recommend the brownie sundae ;) Thank you Matt, Andrew, Katie, Katarina & Carla!Dine in: Yes …More
Michael S: Stayed at the Hilton for extended time on business. Breakfast/dinner/ drinks were always excellent with no wrong choice. Service was excellent; Shelby, Emily and Carlos were awesome and always on point . This hidden gem in Lansing is a bright spot in the city that is full of dark cold days…. And Rickie because she was forgotten
Marcus Collins: Dinner was amazeing
Collins Clan: Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. The food was fresh and served quick. We really enjoyed!
David Andrews: Very disappointed with the breakfast. Very nice new version of Hilton Garden Inn. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the breakfast platter with french toast. The french toast was only one piece and very thinly sliced. There was a mountain of potatoes.
R Liz: The pancakes are delicious!
Michael Massie: Blueberry pancakes are really good, add bacon! Thick cut smoked, no corners cut.
