Kara Grace: Magical old school flower shop. I highly recommend you go inside and wander the maze. There is a wall of fragrant candles, a $500 windchime ( I'm obsessed), vintagey cards and gifts, and just a general winding maze of curiosities. Flower arrangements are beautiful and service is always great.

Bryan Likes to eat out: It’s a little bit like a flower shop you would expect to see in Frankenmuth! Has been around forever and it is the only place in Lansing I would buy flowers. Incredibly quirky staff and very friendly I have never had a bad experience here.

Paula Thomason: The Hyacinth House always has the best prices on a dozen roses, and have nice floral arrangements in their cooler for you to take with you, or have delivered.They currently have their greenhouse full of beautiful Poinsettia plants in several colors that they can even add sprinkles to.I happen to stop in for a Christmas blanket for my beloved Mother's grave and they have multiple colors and sizes to choose from, and also have wreaths for your homes or businesses, or graves..wherever you'd like to put 1.Their prices are competitive, but things like the grave blankets were not marked, so I had to go inside and find help. Their prices were a bit pricey for cut greens , pinecone, and a very pretty, large bow, quoted for an appropriate 2ft. was either $45, or $55.00, and for a 6ft blanket was $99,00 . Now don't get me wrong, my mother is worth ever dime, but I live on a strict budget, and I'm sure my Mom would rather I spend that money on a small bag of groceries or a 1/2 tank of gas.I was not asked if I wanted to go look at them with this man, or offered anything maybe less expensive, unless I were to buy a blanket, then I'd get $10.00 off a wreath, umm...no thank you but thx anyways.I can say I have ordered blooming plants from this place, and the hydrangea they delivered to Mason for $6.00 was absolutely beautiful, large and watered when it arrived to a dear friend.So, in my honest opinion, I WILL recommend this business for all of your fresh floral and plant needs. I will pardon 1 employees lack of customer courtesy and lack of attention because I know not all employees are like he was.

I contacted the florist directly and the re-sent but was not what I ordered.I order a multi plant item called the “Forever Green Plant Garden” which has NO fresh cut flowers. What was sent was no at all what was ordered. It was all fresh cut flowers. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT and all I get now is the runaround of who’s fault it is. Now having to deal with my credit card company to get a charge back.

1Grayton: I'd give them a 0 if I could...PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS OF OTHERS. YOU CAN SEE MOST WHO REVIEWED THEM HIGHLY HAVE NO COMMENTS....anyway. I sent a 80 dollar floral arrangement and they sent what I feel I could have went to Krogers, purchased flowers and done myself. Man answering the phone at the shop wanted to argue with me (where's the customer service?) instead of legitimately listening to my concerns. They didn't have the helium for the birthday balloon and he thinks I got my money worth because they substituted it with what he calls a $20 teddy bear (I'd much rather had a balloon). This is the second time I've known this florist to send inferior arrangements and I will never use them again. I have a certification in floral design and I know I didn't receive my monies worth.

McKenna Herlehy: My boyfriend bought me flowers to surprise me and they refused to deliver to my apartment because they claimed they couldn’t find it? I tried to explain where it was, even though I’ve NEVER had a problem with people not being able to find my apartment? And they still said they won’t deliver them anymore and that I should pick it up (when I told them I’m not able to). Very bad customer service here also, I don’t recommend surprising someone with flowers from here because they refuse to even do their job and deliver them

Susan Davis: I had to google this number in order to figure out where this terrible customer service came from! A friend of mine from out of state had ordered me flowers for my birthday. They had called me and left a voicemail stating that they have flowers that they need to deliver and want to know where they can drop it off at and if I was available. I called them back to let them know if they had a time frame, as it is my birthday and I have other plans. She sighed really loud on the phone " i don't know a time it is 27 degrees outside and it is slippery and people like to run stop signs" in a very rude tone. So I asked if she knew who the sender was because I didn't know who sent them at the time. She preceded to say "Oh my god" as if she was irritated that I asked the question. Then I hear a man in the background yell "Just tell her mid day!". They are very unprofessional and clearly hate their job. What was the point of calling me to ask of my availability?

Mike: WARNING! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! The owner is just down right rude. I called up and gave permission to hit my credit card for $40...looked at my account the next day and they charged over $50! I called not only to find out they tacked on extra charges but the flowers were never delivered. At that point all I wanted was a "sorry" a small refund to get the extra amount back and the flowers delivered. She then got very angry saying she tried to call me (which she never did) and was coming up with excuses. I then said "never mind...please just refund my entire order"...she said "fine" and hung up on me. I had to call back at talk with someone else to make sure that my refund happened...NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

At that moment I felt leary because sometimes you don't know if you're getting scammed. So I said, wait, don't I need to give you my order before you charge my account? I chuckled but in a hesitant way... His tone changed and he became defensive. We completed the order but I had to ask him what the total was and when might the delivery be expected?. All the while I'm thinking to myself, this man is not very efficient at taking phone orders. Maybe he is new or maybe he's having a bad day.So a few minutes later I thought to myself, I don't have a receipt. And the man took my all information except my email. Now I feel this could really be a scam. Lol I call back and be was very defensive once he knew it was me. I asked for it and he said "Well you didn't ask and it'll show up on your credit card bill. Ma'am most people don't ask for their receipts." I said, are you okay? You seem very defensive. He told me I was rude. I apologized sincerely because being rude goes against my beliefs. He didn't care for my apology and hung up on me. I don't think I was being rude at all. I was leary from his incompetence.

Christina Psaros: My mother and sisters ordered me flowers online for my Birthday. Belen's was the shop that fulfilled the order. When they arrived I thought they were beautiful but my sister was really disappointed because the bouquet they had picked out was filled with sunflowers and there wasn't a single sunflower in the entire bouquet. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. My sister, not usually one to complain, wrote to the online store that she purchased the flowers from and told them that she was disappointed and that she understood substituting flowers when they are out of season but its prime sunflower season right now and there shouldn't be a problem. The online flower shop was incredible, they said they would have a new bouquet to me same day with no extra charge.Meanwhile, Belen's called ME (the recipient). They were rude and told me the sender complained so they were going to send a new bouquet and pick up the last one they brought. They also said that the first one was going to be more value because it was roses instead of sunflowers "but whatever". Really? Really?? They called me, who didn't have a clue there was a complaint. I didn't even know there was supposed to be sunflowers in it and were rude to me.Then when the new bouquet arrived it was a sick almost dead version of the former bouquet with some sickly looking sunflowers in the mix. I could have gotten a better bouquet at the local grocery store for a quarter of the price!You would think they would have tried to put more effort into the second bouquet and outdo the first, but instead they seemed to make it less beautiful out of spite using wilting flowers.I don't usually complain. I very rarely do. And the flowers are beautiful to me because my sisters and mom put a lot of thought into buying them for me, but I think Belen's leaves a lot to be desired and people should really check out the other flower shops before considering Belen's. Just for customer service reasons alone.As I am writing this, they came and took my flowers away! The delivery guy came in, apologized, showed me a receipt that said that they were cancelling the order and took my flowers away! What the heck?!!?I can honestly say I will never use Belen's in the future. I would not recommend Belen's to anyone. Do not buy flowers at Belen's Flowers!

Katie Power: We were searching for a local florist to deliver to my mother in law without going through one of the national chains. We selected a medium sized arrangement, pretty in pinks (photographed below). What was delivered (also photographed below) included different colors, different (less expensive) flowers, and was the size of their smaller arrangement. Furthermore, they charged $50 in delivery. I would not recommend this florist as a trustworthy company to handle meaningful deliveries to your loved ones.

Shelley Freeman: Josh at Wild Strawberry and More ran into a problem where the local florist who were to deliver to my Mother in Law in Marshall Mi ran out of the special vase I had chose. There are supply problems because of Covid 19. On their website it said it was available and it Was in Lansing, but not near Marshall. I was very disappointed as I had spent a lot of time finding a florist who had this particular vase and flowers available. At this point Josh offered to have their shop in Lansing deliver the arrangement to my Mother in Law. It's a 45 minute drive! Well they did and she has her flowers. Very Professional! What great service. Thank you!

Ashley: I received a UPS door tag stating that my paycheck had been delivered to this store. When I went to the store it was closed, but the owner Ruth took me to the back of the store anyway to show me that my check unfortunately had not been delivered. She felt bad about the mixup, gave me a beautiful pink rose, and said to call her the next day to see if it showed up. The following day, Ruth called me to let me know that UPS had just dropped off my check. She was very kind, helpful, and understanding in this situation. She also designs beautiful bouquets! Thanks Ruth!

Emily Shaffer: A large bouquet of flowers was ordered for my friend on her birthday by someone anonymous and they delivered them to her this morning. They just called to tell her the order was actually canceled, they did not mean to send it in the first place and they are coming to take it back! How embarrassing!! It happened in front of everyone in our company. We called to discuss it with them and talked to Ruth, who said she was the owner. She hung up on me twice!! They do not care at all to make this better.

Dana-marie Thomson: So Ruth the owner is the worst with customer service-someone had placed an order for my friends Birthday and then canceled it. The flowers had already been prepared and delivered to her place of work. How embarrassing for my friend when Ruth told her she is going to come and pick them up...its her birthday Ruth have a heart and consider the rules of good customer service. Or better yet have some compassion for someone on their birthday and being that its your company's mistake that they were even delivered maybe you should just take the loss! I will never order anything from you place of business and will make sure everyone I know stairs clear of your shop until you change your attitude and maybe handle situations like this with a little more kindness and understanding for the person receiving the devastating news that you have to pick up their flowers on such a special day.

Shasta Brenner: I had a terrible experience at your store today. I was pulling into the parking lot and there was a car stopped in the driveway in front of me talking to someone on the sidewalk. After waiting a bit I gave a "courtesy beep". No response. I assume they are not aware of me or whatever. No issue. Then the car starts backing up and I give 2 more forceful honks because I think that they don't know I am there and I can't back up safely. Then an employee starts screaming at me. I mean screaming. But I can't hear him. I roll down my window and he is still screaming at me. I assume we have had a misunderstanding and try to talk to him reasonably for a minute. He is still screaming and being pretty hostile...So I drive away. It was super rude. With so many great flower shops to go to on Valentines Day I will take my business elsewhere.

Dan Petrowski: UPS apparently left MY package at this place for "convenient" pickup. I work all day, and this place is only open until 5:30. It's closed on Sundays, and only open until 1pm on saturdays. Because I work for a living, I was unable to retrieve MY package from this random business due to limited hours, and it was returned to sender! Thank you Wild Strawberry, I have no idea what your business actually does, but your idiotic UPS arrangement and crappy hours just cost me my package, and just cost you as many potential customers as I can reach with this review. It's 2017, what kind of retail business is closed on the weekends?

Natasha kozlenkova: We ordered a delivery. The bouquet looked nothing like on the picture, it had way less flowers, than it should have and we paid for, and it was a lot smaller. That is very sad that this company thinks that if this is a delivery then the one who ordered will not see the outcome. Do not recommend this shop for a delivery.

D K: Very annoying that they use UPS as a tool to bring "customers" into their store. There's an arrangement where UPS uses this business as a place to drop packages they don't want to leave on your porch. It's a pain to go here, it's only open until 5:30pm, and there is no parking. On top of that, every time I have to go there, I have to wait for a lady to come out from the back, and then receive a "business card" coupon along with a sales pitch about buying flowers. All I want is my package! Feels like a forced sales pitch and promotion of a business I have no intentions of visiting. Real slick...

Scott Scotson: Annoying I have to go here​ to pickup UPS because the UPS man didn't wait a minute for someone to come to the door to sign for a package. There is limited parking and often you have to wait for someone to appear from the back room.

Bo Kopietz: I had beautiful flowers delivered downtown just a few hours after making the call. The staff was very nice over the phone and able to promise (and keep) a delivery deadline. I will definitely use them again.
