Brian Hiatt: Ordered flowers through my local florist I have used for 35 years. They went to Stardust as it is very near the funeral home where my aunt's funeral was held. In short flowers never arrived. Called my local florist and they said they had two confirmations the flowers had been delivered. My local florist called Stardust and they said the delivery truck broke down. No excuse as the funeral home is 4 miles from Stardust. Whomever picked up the Stardust driver should have delivered the flowers in that vehicle. So no flowers for my aunts funeral from our family. Very disappointing and that they misrepresented the delivery sounds like fraud. You have been warned. I recommend to avoid Stardust at at any cost.

All the plants seem to be taken care of very well and the prices are reasonable. I have stopped by twice and all of the plants I have bought so far are thriving. Emrys: The owner is friendly and knows much more about houseplants than the average garden store employee. Lots of varieties that aren't available at other local stores, and the prices are good. When I repotted my plant I found that the roots were healthy and it was in high quality soil, no pests.The only downside is the lighting. The store *only* uses grow lights, which means it's very dim and everything is purple. It makes it really hard to see the plants clearly. When I got my plant home I noticed some leaf discoloration and damage that wasn't visible in the store, and if you don't already know what the plants look like it's hard to guess their actual color. It's also physically painful - I was only in there for about ten minutes but my eyes and head were killing me all through the next day. They had some other varieties I'm interested in, but I'm wary of going back to get them just because the lighting is so bad. They're houseplants that are meant to be kept where people live, surely they can handle normal lights being on while customers are there? If that was changed, this place would get 5 stars from me.

Laurel Skinner: This is probably the coolest plant shop I've been in, in Michigan. It's small but it has so many rare varieties I was in paradise. The owners were very knowledgeable as well.

Laura Antonius: This place is wonderful and is such a great addition to downtown. It's a cute tiny little store that is packed with a wide variety of healthy houseplants, and I think the prices are really very good for what you're getting. They have everything from tiny 2 inch pots, up to large 4-5 foot tall plants, hanging plants, cute pots and planters and macrame hangers and other fun plant-related things.The owner (I think?) seems very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what she's selling and I like that you can browse without feeling pressured to buy anything (but...you're going to buy something, because really you won't be able to resist). I've bought several plants here over the last several months (including a couple of the most beautiful syngoniums ever) and they are all happy and thriving. ALSO side note, I think you can find Neva lee's plants for sale at the Middle Village Market, just around the corner, which is another place that is definitely worth checking out.

Kara Grace: Magical old school flower shop. I highly recommend you go inside and wander the maze. There is a wall of fragrant candles, a $500 windchime ( I'm obsessed), vintagey cards and gifts, and just a general winding maze of curiosities. Flower arrangements are beautiful and service is always great.

We selected a medium sized arrangement, pretty in pinks (photographed below). What was delivered (also photographed below) included different colors, different (less expensive) flowers, and was the size of their smaller arrangement. Furthermore, they charged $50 in delivery. I would not recommend this florist as a trustworthy company to handle meaningful deliveries to your loved ones.
