Steve Rogers: Parking for down town
Holly McGolly: Very few non-permit parking spots. Too many speed bumbs and the spots are really tight. The lanes are also very narrow, and the inconsiderate house reps always park their obnoxious pickup trucks to make things even worse.

Mackintosh “Tosh” Beltane: It's located conveniently next to a lot of coffee shops and food that I go to in Lansing. Sometimes it's free, so that's nice. Otherwise it's just a parking garage.

Kris Warmann: Almost always park here on Sunday afternoon while taking my kids to lunch. Never any trouble finding parking and it is FREE on Sunday!

Greetings Tour: We painted this parking garage structure into our Greetings from East Lansing mural. We quickly learned of all the nicknames including “habitrail”, “hamster cage”, etc. as well as the public’s varying opinion on the structure. Aside from negative and positive views, there’s no doubt this is a very unique downtown landmark for the city. We went up to the roof to catch the sunset one evening and we think it’s a very fun, colorful structure that actually matches our RV custom colors! The painted garage within our mural can be found at the back of Harrison Roadhouse restaurant.

Pete Norman: Decent price on everyday but gamedays. ADVICE: DO NOT wear sandals in the elevators.
Christopher Hessler: The hamster cage is an utter eye sore BUT it's a landmark in downtown EL. I dont know what they could have done to make this thing more hideous. A neon cowboy or inflatable Barney the dinosaur would make this thing more appealing - inflatable dinosaur would be pretty cool actually. On the good side parking in here doesn't fill the nostrils with the aroma of stale beer, weed and pee - so good job on that.
