A F. (Afigue10): Came here for the first time and I loved it. Have you tried the almond cookies? So delicious I bought for me and my sister's family. Yummy with milk 😁and the lady was so nice and welcoming that alone makes me comeback. If you want a REAL piece of Michigan definitely come here!
Jaeger Golisch: Perfect place to shop small. They have local frozen meats, a good wine selection, hats/sweaters, all kinds of little snacks, cutting boards, etc. Should be able to get a lot of gift shopping done here if you want local made Michigan goods. They're open quite frequently and conveniently located. This is where I go to do a lot of my Christmas shopping

Peter Myers: Truly a great store. Looking for a host gift, and this was the exact right place to get one. We picked out some Michigan cherries, a bottle of maple bacon bourbon barbecue sauce, and a tea towel with the Michigan state bird on it. They carefully wrapped each item in tissue and arranged them in a free gift bag. The workers were helpful and so very nice. Great selection of gifty stuff and a huge selection of wine. I'm gonna go back and get that bottle of spicy honey.

Justine Bell: OTGS has a wonderful assortment of items to purchase from all over the state. The staff is wonderful and super knowledgeable. If you're looking for a gift for someone (or are treating yourself!), OTGS is a must visit.

Lacey Hutchinson: I HATE rating places lowly. But behavior towards the customers are incredibly important.A day visiting Old Town Lansing and my dad. Saw this little local shop and noticed it had soaps and lotions. I loved the peppermint and lavander lotion, then I saw their apron and thought it was the coolest thing. I complimented it, raised my head up to smile at the staff. All 3 women behind the counter were staring and never broke a smile. My behavior was good, I didn't have anything on my face, I was dressed relaxed for a hot day as any 27 year old woman would, the new bohemian looks that are in style (quite relaxing and cute), clothes are in good shape, a nice hat to shade the sun, I don't smell, took a shower, wearing deodorant... So what was their deal? Idk but their behavior and lack of smiles really made me think twice about giving my business. I usually try and look over small things because we aren't perfect and I've worked customer service for a long time, so I understand. I am big about shopping local as much as possible, but I did not appreciate them staring at me like a clique of snobby girls in middle school.Not a big deal, when I visit my father I will take my business somewhere else. Didn't feel welcomed and couldn't even get a smile back. No common courtesy.

Melissa Sterenberg: This is a wonderfully unique gallery featuring many and varied types of artwork and gifts, all handmade by Michigan artists. You can wander and look for an hour and still not see everything! Additionally, art is changed out often, so frequent visits are a must!!
Jessie Blume: Great selection of unique artwork and handmade goods from Michigan makers!! I like that it is a co-op and the makers are directly involved with the store. I bought some handmade cards that I really like. One was a thank you card that I used to give a gift card to my neighbor for helping me with some yard work. I also bought some delicious caramel popcorn that my family loved.

Christi: Went looking for plants and was disappointed they did not have any, but there were a few bags of dirt and potting mix.However, the shop is super cute and full of unique gifts.
