Jerome Bischoff: It is rare to find a service that delivers good quality at a fair price. Lansing Handyman Service among those rare finds. Mr. Carr is highly skilled in many "fix it" disciplines, plus is courteous and professional while affecting the actual work or repairs. Equally important, he travels with a "mini workshop" trailer that he uses to do on-the-fly cutting or machining, so he doesn't have to interrupt or otherwise delay the repair process because of unforeseen repair conditions to go fetch a part or get a piece custom made by a 3rd party. His pre-bid site inspections are thorough, so his bids are accurate & fair.Service:General repairs

Rick Clements: Doug was on time and did great work. He did some drywall repair/painting, repaired a damaged drop ceiling, and replaced a bathroom exhaust fan.After getting the exhaust fan installed, Doug noticed it wasn’t moving air properly, so he went up in the attic and discovered the exhaust pipe was completely clogged up. Tim Raymundo: Timely, does great work, and the quality of the job speaks for itself. Had a leaking doorway and the call for an estimate did not take long. After an assessment of the issue, a good estimate was given. Took a while to set up an appointment for the actual fix, but if they're this busy then that's another testament to the trust the community has in this place. Once the job was underway, it did not take long and the work done looked great. I most definitely recommend that you call Lansing Handyman Service for your housing needs. I'm pretty confident that I will be using his service again. Doug is personable and friendly. He even tolerated me and my need to talk a lot and ask questions and check out what he was doing from time to time. Very organized and gives out receipts. I called on Lansing Handyman Service again to put up another Surveillance Camera up in my backyard. And he did a great job again. He even took a little supervision from me in how I wanted U hooks over the wire covers inside my house. Again, I recommend his work and his business. Kin Lau: Doug helped us install a large kitchen hood fan that required shortening a kitchen cabinet from which it was mounted. We really appreciated Doug's attention to detail which led to an aesthetically-pleasing final product. He was also very easy to communicate with. Essentially 2 full days worth of work. Doug was upfront about the cost and clear on what we'd need to have on hand. His prices felt incredibly reasonable given the attention to detail he showed in all the work he did. Truth BeTold: Young men tried to break into my house and seriously damaged my garage and back door. I waited 9 weeks to get the door replaced. Two weeks before the scheduled date, I went to Lowe's and purchased the ONE and ONLY door of my need in stock. Lowe's was to secure the door and remove it off the floor. Doug showed up to Lowe's to pickup the door; It was gone, Lowe's thought of the almight buck instead of doing what customer service promised a customer at the time of purchase. Doug had to go and find me a new door. He found one, and this caused him to go out of his way, and delayed his time for the job. If he was unable to get a door, only God knows how long I'd have to wait again. Again, I waited 9 weeks feeling vulnerable. Doug did the job, it looks great and I feel more secure in my new home. I attached a photo of his work. DON'T USE LOWE'S. USE DOUG'S SERVICES, he was not bothered (or aleast held it in) that he had to go to another store to get me a door. I will use this service again.

S Boomer: If you can’t even get the hello right, how am I supposed to trust the rest?! I called and left a voicemail. Before the I was finished leaving the information I received a text asking to leave a message and I would receive a call back. With no call, I received a second text asking for my address and that they could go by today for an estimate…never said who would be meeting me or whom I was speaking/texting with. When I asked for a name of who I would be meeting before I gave out personal information the person on the other end got defensive and sent me a copy of a business card. Told me they were the owner and if that wasn’t a guarantee and security then what kind of company am I looking for? Well how about a professional one that can at least introduce themselves and give me a name of whom I’m supposed to be entrusting into my home!

None had time , available staff or just didnt want to do a small job in a hospital setting due to Mask requirements. I was told to call EBC by a staffer who saw their number on a truck. I spoke with Troy he explained how they work and said he'd send someone to me as soon as he could. Greg the Tech arrived to get measurements and said he'd need a few days to order things and construct the project then return to install it. 3 days later Greg arrived with everything, very professional, he did a beautiful job on the design and concept we spoke of. Took no time to install. We had to have a large 85 inch tv and a 55 inch tv incased in a protective plexiglass wall frame as required in facilities like ours. I am super pleased with the price, Greg was wonderful and staff all have said the work looks fantastic. These guys are now stored in my phone as a top vendor. Siri Rainone: EB Companies has done several projects in our home; installing storm doors, repairing a mysterious leak in a bathroom fan, installing ceiling fans and outdoor lighting. The last major project was a partial remodel of a kitchen to change the footprint. They were able to get the matching cabinets and re-purpose existing cabinets and appliances to add cabinet storage and countertop work space. Highly recommend them for their efficiency, reasonable pricing and promptness. They show up when they say they are coming, and keep you informed along the way.

JAMES: ***AVOID AVOID AVOID*** I contacted James Zarka AKA J for handyman services after my tenant had the front door broken in. My tenant was fearful and needed the door repaired immediately as he felt unsafe that it had been compromised. I also informed J that the a cracked window needed replacing. He came out to the property inspected the damage and quoted me a fair price. He asked that I Venmo him for parts/supplies and first half of the labor cost. I was weary, but sent it to him in good faith. He had explained that he was a veteran and had a daughter that he was looking after. We had scheduled for him to come the next day for the repairs, but he said his daughter got injured from soccer practice and he couldn't make it. We rescheduled for the next business day, but once again he apologized and said his daughter needed to get surgery and won't be able to make the repairs. We rescheduled once again for the next day, but SURPRISE SURPRISE, he never came. I called asking for a refund, but go no response. I texted him on a different number asking for repairs and got a response immediately. THIS MAN IS A FRAUD AND SCAMMER. DO NOT CONTACT HIM FOR HANDYMAN SERVICES.

Stacy Czajkowski: J is the absolute best he replaced our siding and remodeled our kitchen and one of our bathrooms he was there most professional and he beats everyone's prices he really does have the experience your looking for and he did the work in a way that didn't have us without our kitchen or bathroom overnight he really made our vision come to life.... Would recommend him to anyone anytime!!!
