Cristal Salinas: Sometimes a bit busy unless early morning
Margarita Lopez: Zero stars if possible. I was told they don't have to tell you if training. No managers on site, or anybody in charge to accept responsibility for their work. Also told by their patient complaint number that trainees are sent there.
Kristin Elston: This is my go to for lab work, fast and easy. Great staff.
LEWIS HOSKINS: Sparrow lab was nice. I was in and out in about 15 or 20 minutes.

Joe Mohler Jr: This place is a joke. I’ve been waiting for an X-ray since 4:30pm. It is now 6:48pm and they’ve yet to call me back. I went way out of my way to get this done today and all I got out of it was 2 hours wasted. I had to leave before the X-ray because I have to work. Save yourself the wasted time and go to McLaren instead!

Tim L.B.: It was fast and convenient for me. But I recommend not letting a student draw your blood. I had one do that once before, and I had a ghastly bruise for days. And I have prominent, easy veins, usually easy peasy. Today a student started on me, without anyone asking if that was okay.I almost asked to have her supervisor do it -- but the supervisor was giving off strong "don't bother me" vibes as she read her novel, so I kept quiet. And the student messed up. And now, just half an hour later, I have an ugly bruise, clearly still bleeding under the skin. That is going to be hideous during my entire beach vacation. Ugh.

Monica Jakubos: The wait was ridiculous. There were 3 people a head of me. No one went in or out of the lab for over half an hour. 930 am hit and ding... miraculously 3 technicians started taking people in. Now my technician Ryan - he was FANTASTIC! Barely felt the blood draw.

Yolanda Jean: Not impressed with the Lab services. I am a caretaker and have been sitting with my client since before 7am . IT IS NOW 8:52 AND WERE STILL WAITING...The lab assistant Gabrielle is very inefficient ,rude, and not qualified for her job. I have been here before with clients and we have waited then as well. When you first arrive there is someone o screen you named Teri..Teri was awesome and my client is in their 90's. Teri helped make sure she didnt fall when was santizing her hands. Gabrielle on the other hand told my over 90 year old client to walk across to the farthest part of the room and around the corner to wait for social distancing. There were seats available in the x ray area 6 ft from her but she wouldn't let my elderly client sit there.
Tony bartalone: Must be a terrible place to work because the people there typically very unfriendly, & half the staff always seems to be on break.
Carla Edwards: Went for a routine annual blood draw. When I arrived I was told there was a two hour wait but that the Mason lab had “No Waiting.“ Was told that she could put my name on waiting list but not necessary because no one waiting. Drove all the way to Mason (half hour drive) not only did they have a room full of people waiting and that had been waiting for a while but the waiting room was packed with no social distancing measures in place. The room was very small. Left with a quickness!!!! Very frustrated about the incorrect information given by staff at this location.

Kimberlyn Komaromi: I took my newborn daughter here to get lab work done and the girl that did it had the worst attitude. She acted so irritated and cold towards my daughter. As I was changing her diaper that evening I see that the girl had wrapped the bandage WAY too tight. It was cutting off the circulation to my daughters foot and she now has a sore. I showed other lab technicians what she used and they said there’s no reason she should’ve put that on a newborn. I think they need to train these people better and hire people with better attitudes. Highly unhappy and won’t be letting that girl do anymore lab work on my daughter again. Also, I think her name was Lorena by the stuff I read on her wall.
Randy F: They close the lab early with 40 minutes remaining. This is healthcare, not McDonald’s. People NEED to get their orders filled. Unacceptable.

Melanie Royle: The process was supper quick. I signed in and about a half an hour later I got in. The kind phlebotomist was very fast and she found a good vein on the first try. I recommend this lab when you want your blood drawn.
Jean Schaberg: Yes I’ve waited 2 hours but I’ve also waited 2 minutes. My 7 year old had to have his blood drawn as a baby sometimes multiple times a week. These skilled technicians were the only ones who could draw it without poking him 4-8 times. I will never go anywhere else!!I understand waiting is frustrating but these awesome phlebotomist’s work hard and deal with a lot. They should know how much they are appreciated!!
Holly Adams: I was taken back to have my blood drawn in a really timely fashion. Check in was really simple. Lorraina drew my blood and she was fantastic. Nothing but super polite and she made me really comfortable! I would love to have her again.

Was Post-Poned For My Other Medical Tests, Which Are Coming-Up In March! My Surgery Got ReScheduled For Mid May!Sparrow Medical Group Urology Is AWESOME! Dr. Jamie Bartley & Her Staff Are All AWESOME, Professional, Caring, & Thourough & I Give Them 5☆'s! They Have Been VERY Good @ Answering ALL My Questions & Messages (In Sparrow MyChart)!
John Patrick Peters: Didn’t run half of the tests my dr. Ordered. No reason, they just forgot or didn’t care enough to pay attention. Then put me even further on the back burner and told me it would still be a few days out. I won’t use them again.
Chris Barcelon: Has only been busy a few times before. Otherwise, the wait times are fine or we go to another nearby lab.
Johnny Cats: My doctor sent a referral to Sparrow Labs for a CT scan in November 2022. It is now the end of January 2023. Never got a call from Sparrow to set up the appointment, they never referred it back to my doctor's office. The largest health system in the city and they literally cannot be bothered to do their job. Unbelievable. They probably just threw the referral away out of sheer laziness.

Kaylin Winchester: This lab has appointments at 7am. I thought that was perfect because I work 8am-5pm. Wrong. I show up at 7am and the door was locked. Waited a few minutes and was finally let in. I then walk to the window where a woman is sitting at the desk. She is typing and does not look up from her computer once. I have stood here for almost 10 minutes and she hasn't even greeted me or asked if I needed help. Ridiculous. You'd think if they offer appointments at 7am, that they'd be ready to take appointments at 7am.
Kara P: Made a 9am appointment and waited an hour still. Then name was not checked for blood draw and the mix up wasn’t noticed until giving a urine sample was requested again and she said there wasn’t an order for it but that she would print a label. It was pointed out name on cup was wrong and she crossed it off and hand wrote the name only, not birthdate, and did not print a new label. It was then discovered the blood draw tubes had the same wrong name and she said would put the right labels on but didn’t show that she had done it. The location needs more staff and to not make appointments when they don’t have staff available to fill the appointments on time.
Brittany Nicole: I was able to walk-in for a blood draw and was out within 15 minutes, and she did a great job!
K. Hollins: Overall, I've had good experiences at this location. However, it's always the one bad experience that leaves a long lasting impression. I had to get labs done weekly for about two months and since this location was convenient and never busy, I opted to get them done here. My skin does not like the traditional medical tape, so regardless of where I get my labs drawn, I always request the Coban wrap. Well, that has never been a problem until at one of my lab draws, the technician told me that she could not use that on me since I was not on blood thinners. In all my years of getting labwork, I've never been told that. She went on to say that "they" are counting and she'll get in trouble for using it. She let me leave the chair with nothing but the cotton ball I had to hold while I left. She didn't offer any other solution, such as a bandaid or alternative gauze. I returned to that same location a few more times and never had that issue again. I request the Coban, and I get it. I do not understand why that one technician was the only one to ever deny me, but it just didn't sit right with me.
Tamela Pyron: Dont go here the Asian lady that works here was confused messed up all my labs and another lady's called me thinking im the other Patient to tell me i have to come do all my labs again because she didn't do something right and messed them up then when i informed her who she was actually speaking with she told me she had messed mine up also and i needed to come back to lab to get redrawn the lab was empty there was only myself and 1 other patient in the building and im guessing that who she thought she was call i dont know here name but she is Asian and she is not equipped to be doin patients labs the whole experience has me questioning do i want to continue to receive care at McLaren do yourself a favor pick another lab
SJ Therese: Scheduled an appointment at 5:40pm on Friday. It says they’re open till 7pm on Fridays. When I got there no one was in the office and lights were off. There were 3 of us in the lobby. We waited 40 minutes and no one showed after ringing the bell multiple times, and even attempting to call. We won’t be using this office again. Looks like the the other review had similar issues.
Jennifer Ankofski: Their website and Google hours say they open at 7 on Saturdays. I'm here at 7:30- the door is locked, lights are off, and no one is answering the phone.

Ms Sunshyne: The blonde haired lady at the front desk was extremely rude to me when I told her I had to leave an come back I wish I'd gotten her name " you can always go somewhere else" is what she said to me!!?? Idk if she hates her job or jus a rude POS but she definitely doesn't need to be working there!!! I will never go back RUDE STAFF!!!😡
JEB 1: An absolute waste of an hour of my life. They do not take appointments online, which I tried to book, for blood testing. However, I watched 10 people go in before me for TSA pre-check testing over the course of almost an hour, and the staff said nothing and let me sit there. When I asked the staff how much longer it would take, I was informed that “another round of appointments was coming up” so I would have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes. Absolutely not. My time is valuable, so I left. This place needs to take a good hard look at their SOP in terms of managing walk-ins and respecting customers’ time. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This facility being located in a seedy old strip mall should’ve been my first clue.

Chris Bellinger: I've been coming here for a few years and honestly it used to be pretty bad. Long waits, technicians that didn't know the lab codes, etc. But in the last year they've gotten a lot better. Antoinette has been my tech for the majority of my draws and she is fantastic! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and just an all around great person. ARCpoint, if you're reading this, make sure you take care of her, she's the best!
Laura Antonius: I’ve been here a few times for pre-employment drug screens and the employees are always efficient and professional.
Madison Bach: Had to have a drug screening done for a new job. Took me a few tries to have enough urine for the sample. While sitting in the waiting room, I could hear the girls behind the glass window talking about me and saying I should have better things to do with my time than sit there and wait. And that if they were me they would have been sure to drink more water before hand. I have a nervous bladder and did not want to sit there but there is a 30 minute required wait between each try. Hearing them talk about me made me very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Willington Bagaga: A Pretty quick stop. The staff was friendly and professional, Although I will never stop finding it weird and almost embarrassed to hand my pee to another human being I don't really know at all, It's just wired. But that's just me, they do a great job

So in good faith in went to take the 1700$ test but I'll be darned if I will send him my personal specimen results to anything. This place is a joke! I'd highly recommend going to Pat's instead.

Stephanie Williams: Never knew this was even here. Theres no sign outside and there also a pharmacy and (i think) 2 physicians in this building.
hannah stritmatter: I understand staffing shortages everywhere nowadays but you should probably make sure you have people on duty who are prepared to perform lab services on a large demographic of patients. I was turned away and told to drive to the professional building because the only person on duty either couldn't or didn't want to perform a bilirubin check on my newborn.
Bamboo Mountain: People Sparrow lab take schedule really slow & a lot of times no one takes phone. Patient not happy. I’ll go to big hospital on Okemos. They respond and take schedule really fast.

Phil Threadgould: This is the slowest lab on earth. The idea is that you put your name on a waiting list and they call you back when they are ready. But they usually wait about 20 minutes in between patients. So if there are 5 people ahead of you, expect it to take 2 hours.

adorablyjacklyn: Quick and the nurses in the bloodwork office are great at painless at drawing blood. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes, but usually, I walk right in, and I'm out in less than 10 minutes.

Reasons being the staff at the hospitals emergency room in conjunction with the mental health department stole some very expensive Jewelry from me a gold a diamond ring valued at two thousand dollars in a attempt to recover my merchandise by going through the necessary protocol I was given the shaft" although my quest isn't over. The laboratory staff are courteous and very professional. My experience was a good one. And I pray that my lab results are in my favor. No worries.
Annabell Landis: Needed a blood draw for my infant son, was referred here. Phlebotomist said that they won't do blood draws on kids at that location. So don't come here if it's for a child.

chrozy Rozyla: These are competent phlebotomists and I have never had more than 2 in front of me when I arrived. I now get ALL my blood draws here! I was going to give 4stars because last time I had a brand new phlebotomist being trained by the regular staff. Kinda hurt, took a little longer than usual, but we all start somewhere!You MUST check in with the guard or nurses at the door who check you for Covid19 AND wear a mask. Overall has been a 5star facility.

Rodney Sanville: This has been very convenient since the pandemic began. They serve all your lab needs without leaving your car. Sometimes the lines have been long but it beats waiting in a waiting room. They move at a pretty good pace though. I hope they continue this as an option.

Leticia Garcia: Worst place to go for a blood drawn. The results are not ready until the next day.

Monica Wymer: Supposed to be open until 6. Arrived at 545 to get bloodwork for a sick child and was turned away because they were "closed". There were clearly still lab techs on site. No other labs are open.
Radhika Kashikar: It said that the lab closes at 6pm from M-F , however security did not let me drive in when I reached there at 4.36 pm stating it closed at 430 pm . I had to get the tests done ASAP and could not get those done secodary to wrong times posted.
Nichole Nikki: Closes at 5pm not 6pm. Arrived at 5:01 and they won't let us in I have sick children ridiculous some of us still have to work. 😡
