matt clara: I bought a used car and it started going clunk and I took it to Ryan's and they couldn't find the clunk, but on the way home it was even clunkier than before, so I took it to the dealer who found a bracket mounting the sway bar had come off (and in fairness, it was an intermittent problem until I drove home from Ryan's, so it was harder to diagnose up until that point) so I called Ryans and told them and they said well bring it back, we can beat their price plus a little extra to make it right, and that's what they did. When problems happen, the measure of the company is how well they deal with it, and you can't ask more than what Ryan's did in this case. They are fair and very honest and reasonably priced, too. I will definitely keep using Ryan's in the future.Service:Steering suspension repair

They are good at what they do, have fair prices and most importantly they are honest and don't try to rip you off with nonsense.I've had a issue with a cracked rotor, the sounds after made me think I needed rotors and brakes replaced for sure. They didn't try to upsell me. They replaced the rotors and checked the brakes but they were in good condition and with plenty of life left. That kind of thing is just one example of how trustworthy they are.Recently my girlfriend had to take her car in for a weird issue and it was almost a year to the date from when that issue happened last time. Turns out they had a faulty part that failed early and they replaced it under warranty. No charge on both parts or labor and they had it fixed in two days. No arguing about warranties or anything... These folks stand by what they do even when it wasn't bad service but just a faulty part (not really thier fault)

After calling around and reading reviews, I chose Ryan's, and I'm glad I did for several reasons:--The customer service here is great. I felt comfortable asking any questions I had and never felt like I was being taken advantage of for being a young woman with limited experience in the car repair arena. (That wasn't always my experience elsewhere.)--The estimate I got at Ryan's was lower than every other estimate I got--over $350 less than the highest quote from a competitor!--I was told it would probably be Wednesday or Thursday before they got to my car, but I actually got to drive it home earlier than expected on Tuesday evening.--The diagnostics here are more reliable than the first shop I went to. It turns out I just needed a new battery. They were honest about it and didn't do unnecessary work, and I saved hundreds more than I expected to.My car runs beautifully again (as much as a 22-year-old car that's been through the abuse of Michigan roads and weather can). J B: Had them change out a part that bigger commercial places wouldn't do for me unless they replaced the rest of the suspension components too. I'm in school and was quoted prices such as $3,000. I bought all the components for around $200 necessary for the job, but didn't have the ability to do one part.The guys were nice here. Jacob Kahn: I heard a metallic rattling noise coming from the engine a couple days ago. I saw that B’s Randall had good reviews, and I’m happy to say that they turned out to be true. The rear catalytic converter was the issue, but it was much more expensive than I could afford to fix on a student budget. The mechanic offered to tighten the protective shields and sure up anything else, while also repairing a broken sway bar for a great price. While not a fix, B’s Randall was able to help postpone the repair until I have the money to fix it properly. Which obviously will be done by them for their honesty, good prices, and understanding how to help someone on a budget.

Josh Mac: Had my vehicle in for service, 400miles later the “repair” failed. So I had to pay for a tow and additional maintenance that the shop alleges were necessary. Yet no mention of an issue with the prior service. I’m certain you scammed me! 400miles and an alternator fails? Not likely.

Come to find out it was the wheel barriers that needed to be replaced, called Williams for estimate, $1200. Then called Mike's Auto Care $600 .... I Googled highly rated mechanics nearby, and Randall topped the list, so I drove to Lansing on Saturday and helped him limp his car to Randall. When I called them Monday morning, their staff was super friendly as they explained that they don't do transmissions, but recommended a great place nearby, Transmission Technology. Randall Auto assisted with getting the keys to the tow driver without any complaints, and even let me know when the car had been picked up. I give Randall Auto 5-stars just for being friendly and helpful, and for recommending an awesome transmission shop nearby. We took his vehicle there and they were up front with us that the repair would be more than the vehicle was worth. And they were also unsure that the vehicle would drive right. We have also taken my in laws car there and they fixed the issue for a good price. Great service with honesty and that's important.
