Marc Kodiak Hassett: Not easily handicapped accessible. Shopping carts tip easily and do not support you if you have balance issues. There are no electric carts for folks with disabilities. This in a large box store makes shopping difficult if not impossible.

BeeLake Casa: This has always been my go to place for boots and shoes, outside of online orders. Their clearance section is always worth a look, as the prices there are at times lower then you'll find anywhere. Store is always clean, well lit and staff has always been friendly and polite.

I had the receipt the box and the tags. The casher was a young curly haired girl with glasses. She said "oh sometimes we don't open the box to check cuz we don't want to damage the box.. I told her it was a gift from my sister. She never offered to find a left shoe she just said the she said I could get cash back and to just ask my sister to buye another pair. I asked her if I could get store credit and she goes ... Too late it's already done and said nothing else .I thought the whole transaction was rude.and she kinda ruined my birthday present .

Kayfabe Rocks: This store is run by ableists. Every time I take my mom here (who uses a wheelchair) there is always some big cart thing in the middle of an aisle she needs to go down but she can't fit her wheelchair down the aisle and gets super frustrated. She just wants to shop like everyone else but for some reason this store always has obstacles in its aisles. I've tried to move the cart thingy myself but I've gotten yelled at by employees not to move it. We will not be going to this store anymore and all handicap people should avoid this store location.

Charmaine: Be prepared to be followed through the store by a creepy lost prevention worker the whole time you shop. From the time you enter to the time you leave. So uncomfortable . I won’t be back
Paul Blur: It was a horrible experience and I will not be returning. The Manager BJ was super rude. Its a clothing store but wouldnt let any of my children try on clothing. They claimed to not have enough employees for the dresssing rooms but yet there were 5 of them standing around. BJ claimed "If she did it for me she would have to do it for eveyone" My daughter is 8 years old and couldnt understand why we had to leave and go shopping somewhere else. She was super bummed. I will not be returning to this location ever! I suggest you spend your money else where. Super rude and not worth the hassle. Will be contacting the coperate office.

I browsed for a little while, but then decided to leave because the line did not move 1 person in the time I was there. The folks in line looked irate. I could see other employees around the store. Linda Chaffee - Gogarn: I went to Burlington in Lansing for a coat. No leather jackets were available, but I found a nice Michael Kors. My husband and I were treated very rudely by the cashier at checkout. She was there Tuesday, December 20th at 9 AM. I have worked in retail management for 20 years, and if you don't want to work the holidays get out of retail. She did not show me the receipt or ask me if I wanted the receipt in my purse. We're from Reno, NV spending money in your state - Be Nice!! This was on Saginaw in case the manager reads this review.

Brian Lehman: After one employee messed up the ring sizing, and costing me $500+ in cancellation fees from it being late and told "my order is lost, delayed and we dont know why, and waiting for pick-up"! After getting the ring it was the wrong size! Returned it reordered another one, was told i can cancel it before feb.13. On the 10th (after customer service verified) a " I only worked here for less than 3 months" (we interrupted her on her phone) employee was raising her voice to the point of being yelled at, called the supervisor over who is the one that said i could cancel it refused to with an attitude and a condescending smile as if she enjoyed NOT HONORING THE AGREEMENT, AND WHAT SHE SAID TO US and treating customers like trash! DO NOT SHOP HERE GOTO A PAWN SHOP OR THE JEWELRY STORE JUST WEST OF THE MALL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE STREET!!!

Robin Chadwick: Been going here since moved back to Michigan— nice that it’s very close to home—i have always found great brands at great prices, from clothes to make-up to furniture and especially good brand kitchen pots pans glasses bowls. I love good quality and when coupled with great price—nothing beats TJMaxx. Staff are great too.

Lo: I hate that they moved from the mall to another ( outdoor) mall one mile away in a pointless new development - another outdoor mall slapped up where a breath of fresh air used to be. All these places are opening when they could have just stayed at the mall. I'm not the only one who misses the mall - it was fun walking around inside stor to store. I just don't get why they are making all these new ugly buildings when they have a huge beauty mall that is empty. It makes no sense to me at all. Getting out of this place is an actual nightmare.

Wolfyd1999: I'll start this off by saying I'm plus size and I realize not all places will cater to plus size people. However I went in there hopeful, but I was only able to find they had one tiny rack that had the smallest and shortest sign saying plus size. It wasn't even full and the clothes were super ugly. I didn't want to look through the rack because I felt embarrassed to only have that small option when all the other women had racks upon racks to choose from. So for all my plus size ladies over a size 14 there's nothing for you here!

Catherine Lindley: I went to Macy's after having shopped at 2 other clothing stores and trying on at least 10 pairs of blue jeans, average size, not out of the ordinary. At Macy's, I found Beatrice, who went above and beyond to help me find jeans that fit, were comfortable and that did not have the "decorative" rips and fraying that young people seem to want and jeans that didn't sit low on my hips. Employee Beatrice was extremely helpful and kind as she helped me find what I needed. I sincerely appreciate Beatrice's friendly support and knowledge. Previously, I had walked past Beatrice as she was helping another customer in the dress department. I thought this employee is listening to what kind of dress this customer is looking for and genuinely wanted to help her find what she needed! Macy's has a gem in Beatrice!

X. RAO: Easy parking. Macy's is huge and have 3 side parking lots, with 1 door directly inside the mall. Meridian Mall usually closes early, while Macy's will stay open for longer.Always clean, most of time organized. You can buy from toys, shoes, make up, clothing, jewelry, hand bags, kitchenware, accessories, etc.Plenty of selections, variety of price ranges. Now Macy's offers a decent size of Backstage area. Basically it is a Outlet store inside Macy's, marked all in blue.Staff are generally nice. Just remember some of them are sales person. It is their job to sell you something.

Joseph B. Nowak: Probably the best Macy's I've been to besides the one at Somerset and various ones in Chicago. Even though Meridian Mall is dying out this is still a very impressive Macy's location. Their selection of Ralph Lauren clothing is spectacular, their fragrance salesman Rick (I think that's his name? He's the guy whose been there for 40 years) was super knowledgeable and non pushy and all the others sales staff have been so friendly and kind and helpful. Our Macy's back home in Wisconsin is a depressing afterthought, this store does it right and I will continue to patronize whenever I visit east lansing!

Ralph Lauren shirts for $20? That's outrageously low and hard to pass up! So still go, but have fun in the maze trying to find your way around.

For instance the purse displays always look like someone dumped several boxes out on a table. Clothes are dirty because they have been on the floor. Somehow, Kohls has a lot of inventory but I always leave feeling like they don’t have anything.

Some of the staff are kind, but what I witnessed of management was very mediocre. The store was an absolute mess and very confusing to navigate. There are much better stores to go to.

Britney Gutierrez: Went here today to return a product. Doors opened at 10am and I walked in at 10:01am. They processed my return and another beauty advisor came over and said we aren’t actually open yet because we need to finish inventory but we can take care of the return. Okay…then I said well can I shop now? They said, “No our manager wants to finish inventory and we won’t be open till 12.”You guys didn’t put signage on the door or lock it or honor your open time or a customer who what going to drop $$$. Horrible customer service. Good luck making up for this one.
Diane Kaiser: Daughter purchased Polo Green cologne here as gift ~ all three were counterfeit. Cap and bottle insignia were silver not gold. Don’t trust what they sell here to be real. No response to emails sent to corporate.

tamara walker: So, 12/13/2022 my daughters went to Ulta to shop for a hair wrap today. They called me upset because of how badly they were treated/ignored by the cashier (who was carrying on a conversation with someone that wasn't shopping.) THEN there was an older lady standing around just STARING at them and wouldn't even crack a smile. Upon ending the transaction at the register, my daughter said thank you to the pre-occupied, rude cashier and you guessed it! She didn't even reply with a response. Now, I can name one reason why they were treated so horribly, but I'm sure you might be wondering what I already know was the case. My daughters are non-white and my first thought is that they were treated unfairly and rudely because those two people feel a certain way about people that don't look like them. Anyway, once my daughters told me of their awful experience, I called the store and spoke to Rachael, she was kind and very apologetic and assured me that she would be speaking with those ladies about how to treat customers (no matter skin color or whatever their differences might be.) Ulta Beauty is a very well-known beauty store / salon and I would be ashamed is my employees were being this blatantly rude to shoppers. It's a sad day in time when folks are still hanging on to that old mindset.

Kim Chelf: The last two visits at this Ulta have been great. Today, it was over the top. I was greeted by an associate, who asked if they could help me find something. Two other associates stopped, while I was browsing, to see if I needed help. When I was checking out, the cashier, Dianisse, could not have been kinder. She was very patient with me and assisted me in finding a coupon. She was polite and professional! I cannot say enough good things about this store. I am not use to such fantastic customer service! From the time I entered, until I left, I was a happy customer. Thank you Ulta. I will see you again soon.

I love how many services their salon offers and their staff works as a team. Will be back 😃Edited: Jane left to go to another location too far for me to drive. I went back and tried someone else. My color wasn’t really what I wanted. I asked for root blending and keeping the blonde on my ends and it was basically just an all over color. Much darker than anticipated. Jane would always ensure I was completely happy with my service before leaving, the new girl seemed in a rush (I was the last person of the day and I think she was ready to go home) I told her my color was “OK”, didn’t offer to fix it, said we could change it next time I came in. I’m about a week out from my service and can’t tell anything was done to my hair 😢. Still can see split ends and feels like it needs a hair cut. This didn’t happen with Jane. $130 and tip- I don’t feel the service was worth that since I now have to go somewhere else to get what I wanted completed. In her defense, I did say I’m growing my hair out and to not take too much off, but I at least wanted the split ends taken care of so it will grow. I don’t think I will be back, Jane was the best.
Paige Smalley: ULTA never disappoints! I went in for Tarte concealer and was greeted as I walked in. I ended up needing advice on what kind of moisturizer and dark spot remover to get and the lady was right on it! I can honestly say both products have been working tremendously!
