Raj Ghotra: Built a house with Eastbrook last year and spent over 600k . Not happy at all. Poor quality of material used. Had to replace electric wiring. Poor craftsmanship. Cheap plumbing. Water started leaking everywhere first week. I will not recommend Eastbrook home to anyone but if you are already stuck with them then make sure you are there every day of the building process or they will screw you every which way they can.

You will end up chasing him down to make things right. He will tell you what you want to hear and then never deliver. We have interior doors that don't latch and exterior doors that don't lock. Alan Derry: My wife and I had the pleasure of building our custom home with Tom and his team at J.E.B. beginning late 2020. When we initially decided to build our home, we visited nearly every custom and spec home builder in the greater Lansing area. Tom impressed us with his upfront and honest attitude right away. He was willing to take time and show us several of his homes currently under construction. During these personal tours he pointed out the various areas where a JEB home goes above and beyond compared to most builders. Having a decent idea of the home construction process I noticed a substantial difference in both the quality of materials used, and the attention to detail displayed. Moving forward deciding to build a custom home late 2020 proved to be more difficult than expected. Covid had put a serious strain on supply chains, lack of trade workers, the availability of certain products and materials etc. Tom and his team did an excellent job of attempting to curtail any added expenses incurred during this trying time as best they could. Any additional costs incurred by our upgrades, plan modifications, material shortage costs etc. were all conveyed by JEB in an extremely transparent manor and priced more than fair. We were extremely impressed with every trade Tom and his team had assembled to build our home. From start to finish every trade from the framers, stone mason, finish/trim carpenter, flooring/tile, concrete, painter’s, drywall, HVAC, electrical, siding and roofers were all exceptional. They went above and beyond the minimum, and it was incredibly easy to see that they all took great pride in their crafts. We couldn’t be happier with how our home turned out. Our choice to build our custom home with Tom and JEB certainly was one of our best decisions to date!
