Kiflam Hurlbut: You should consider the your dealership if this place's prices are acceptable to you. I asked my daughter to get an oil change for the car she regularly drives, and she texted me some time later asking me how much an oil change should cost, and she told me that this location was charging $98.00 for a synthetic change. I suggested she ask them why the price was that high, and she said they told her because they check the other fluids, which was a laughable response since that has been included in oil changes since they existed. Plus you get the usual barrage of up-sells as if that is not enough. If this place thinks their prices are fair and competitive, I would suggest that they post them online. The dealer may not be the cheapest game in town, but they are at or below these prices. Plus they are knowledgeable about your car, you know what parts you are getting, they can check for recalls, do a REAL inspection (not just to up sell the stuff they have on hand) and they often wash your car as part of the deal. I just don't get how these places can stay in business when their primary goal is high margins and additional sales.

The techs, Lorenzo, Avery and Spencer were so awesome. They showed my husband an air filter we didn't even know existed. Our car is a well maintained 2001 Toyota Avalon and this filter had NEVER been changed. It was the air intake under the car, like THE AIR WE BREATHE, and it was so gross, my hubby took a picture of to show me. Changed that baby out and the air/heat works so much better now. And I'm allergic to mold so I'm sure I was breathing it in from that filter. Wondered why I always got super stuffed up whenever the heat was on. Above and beyond. Never going anywhere else. Michael Kirby: DON’T GO HERE.My experience at the grand river Valvoline was terrible. Of course, during the service they tried to talk me in to all sorts of services. New Wipers, which were like $60, even though I replaced mine less than 2 weeks before the oil change. A new battery which was several hundred dollars, despite mine being less than a year old, as well as them trying to tell me that 3-4 other issues were present in my car that I am certain were not. On top of all this, after the oil change I drove up north for the holiday, and by the time I arrived at my destination all of the oil that was in my car had leaked out. One of the brilliant minds at this store did not tighten the oil pan bolt all the way causing a huge oil loss which could have been a lot worse if I had driven any further than I did. After this ordeal, I tried to get through to customer service and was met with impossible wait times to speak with a customer service representative (over an hour wait) and was never able to actually talk to someone.I beg you, please don’t take your vehicle here.Service:Oil change

They also neglected to reattach one of the sensors, which caused a small vacuum leak that I didn't find until later, and only found thanks to my brother who used to be a mechanic.When they charged me, I thought I would be charged the standard price for oil but on my receipt I was charged for extra oil, and they did not inform me of this at all. Gary Ferris: I've gone to this service location for years. The staff is always friendly and seem pretty knowledgeable. Once your car's in the bay, service is pretty quick. I try to avoid times when there's more than a couple cars in line.You are generally going to get an up sale pitch for other services and most of them do fit with manufacturer recommendations. They're not overly aggressive with the pitch. They will certainly encourage you to have them done but if you say no, they don't push it. The recommendations will be listed on the service invoice.The cost for an oil change is pretty reasonable.
