DPMG Prime: what do users think?
Sean mcgee: AWFUL renting houses not up to code and let my house get PINK TAGGED. They expect you to pay rent for a house that is not up to code and hasn't been for over half a yearThey made me sign a lease for a house that was not up to code and they don't have a license to rent. These people are not to be trusted128 Astor AveLansing Michigan 48910Managed by DPMG PRIME has been PINK TAGGED since September 9th 2022OVER 230 daysand RED TAGGED since January 11th over 106 DAYS!!!!It has been RED TAGGED well over 1/4 year PINK TAGGED well over HALF A YEAR!!!!!
Mary Toshach: Great apartments at reasonable prices
Tammie Baldwin: I would give zero stars if I could. God sees all. I rented from them. Used to be LHMThanks to this company I am very I'll fighting for my life. They keep changing their name thinking their business will prosper. There is a reason they are not enlisted with the BBB.
Sarah Sewell: The house itself was okay. Landlord(s) are impossible to get a hold of, the phone number listed just has an automated voice message and no way to talk to a human. Took forever to get my deposit back.
Leslie Pinder: I would never and I mean never rent a property from DPMG ever again. If you like to wait weeks for maintenance requests and just being totally ignored by your landlord, then this might be the place for you. I’m counting down the days until I move out of my this place. Even my neighbors have complained. Just don’t waste your money go somewhere else.
Barbara Younger: Update-After a bit of patience and persistence on my part Ashley provided me with the information and assistance I needed. She was very helpful once she was able to clear her schedule a bit of other pressing matters.I do hope this is the path to a mutually beneficial experience.I am hoping that I don't have similar experiences with this company - although I seem to be off to a bumpy start. They are "extremely" difficult to get in touch with. Anyone have any suggestions how to reach a live person and not have to leave a voice message, text, or email which go unanswered?
vicki morrow: RUN! RUN VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I don’t leave many reviews, but I feel like a really need to worn people away from a lot of wasted time using this fraudulent company. I am a landlord that used this company to manage my houses for the last 4 years. We switched May1, 2022 because of the extremely poor customer service and the upcharging on repairs. As of today, almost 3 months since the switch, I am owed almosy $6000 in tenant deposits, owner deposits, and prepaid rent paid by my tenants back in April/May. I have called, texted, emailed, filed with the BBB, filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office, and messaged the owner on Linked-In, to no avail. I was continually told “it can take up to 90 days to close out the accounts and disperse the monies!” That’s TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE business practice. Now we are almost at the 90 day mark and I’m STILL waiting on almost $6000. Makes me wonder if they are having cash flow problems? Or are they just inept at their jobs? Or are they being punitive because I switched to a different company? Or perhaps all three!!! My next call is to my attorney - I don’t like having to do it, but enough is enough! This will be just one of many reviews I leave for this company all over the internet. SERIOUSLY! Don’t use their services! You will 💯 regret it! And as a side note, BBB has given them an “F” rating because they never respond to complaints. And if you look up the history of the owner, you’ll find some shady deals that happened with this company in the past. I wish I had known all of this before we started 4 years ago.
Camri Grace: I found a beautiful apartment on their website and decided to apply before looking. Firstly the app fee is $55 dollars which is slightly outrageous but because they had quite a few different spaces I liked and seemed professional I went for it.After calling and receiving multiple voicemails, I sent a message on Facebook to view the place. They called me back a couple days later and we scheduled for the next day.Deandre met me there and was new and kind. He was very friendly and I enjoyed the apartment. we talked and he said he would send over a lease which he did.Once I received the lease though NO ONE answered any texts, calls or messages. I had questions that still remain unanswered, I would have loved to rent the apartment but the lack of communication was tremendously disappointing.
Jennifer King: They will not accept your calls about repairs. They will leave those calls unanswered for months if not a year. They will charge you against what the lease states without providing prior notice. They will double your rent without prior notice. This business uses very unethical practices. Forces people to do things out of their lease under duress. Whether it be pandemic or lack of a new place to live. They will exploit it and use it to double the rent. I am at the rental office right now and they are currently trying to wait out the clock without seeing both me and my husband. They do not want to answer why they are charging rent at an advanced rate against with the lease States. Do not run from these people they're absolute slumlords. This is my opinion after dealing with them.
Brooke Kahn: I had filled out the application and paid the application fee to schedule a showing. Day of the showing the realtor never responded to my multiple messages. I have called, emailed, left voicemails, and messages and haven’t heard anything in over a week. I’m not sure what’s going on but it feels like they’re just collecting your personal information and application fees and then ghosting you.
Ariel Gilliam: THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR EVEN GET BACK WITH YOU I’VE BEEN SENDING EMAILS, TEXTS, VOICEMAILS, Everything possible for weeks, I was interested in some of there properties and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone
Nayeli Carvajal Acosta: Never answer the phone or return my calls. I drove to the address showing on google maps and there was an empty building. Not sure if this a real agency
Madilynn Dix: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueTerrible management, high prices and awful moving in process. Just a company looking to scam the little guy
Alex Lockwood: Ever been completely ignored by your "property management" company? Well, you will be. There are multiple people within, and they don't care about you. Ever tried to offer to install something to your rental property that would help you and them, and they don't respond for two years? No? Well, you will with DPMG. Don't worry, expect they'll find a reason to take your deposit too, based on the complete lack of anything else they do. Cheers to the weird moneybags owner (land overlord?), your employees are bad and you are worse.
Corey: The best properly management company I have patronized. They are understanding and generously fair. I appreciate them very much.
Brian Ruskauff: Edit: they did finally reach out to me after reading this review. I bumped it up a few stars because I can't speak for the quality of their properties as a tenant.I've been trying to contact them about renting various properties for weeks. I've sent messages on all the apps/websites, text messages, voice-mail, emails, website submissions and no reply, just crickets. I'm trying to give them my business and money but they just won't respond. I've left messages directly for Rachyl and Steve on their dedicated numbers and heard nothing back, don't trust the reviews mentioning either person's as they have proven unreliable. This is a bad sign for anyone who rents, what happens when you need a repair or something happens to the property? I'd LOVE to rent some of their stuff but I have not received a single reply from anyone in the group.I don't trust these 5 star reviews, I suspect they are friends of employees posting false reviews to bolster the company image.
Scott Harrelson: Never called back
Kenzie Jones: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Sunday Todosciuk: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Sofia Quesadilla: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueRachyl was so dilegant in locating us a home! She was attentive and helpful throughout our rental time. Very professional and polite! I continue to recommend her to friends and family looking to rent.
Liv Olczyk: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness,Value

Prime Property Management: what do users think?
cody f: I would have to agree with the rest of the reviews the house I rented was an absolute Nightmare and the ladies in the office were even worseUpdate: still have breathing problems from all of the black mold. their house made me so sick and they didnt do a thing t fix it. ended up in a motel most of the summer.
vicki morrow: the Attorney General’s office, and messaged the owner on Linked-In, to no avail. I was continually told “it can take up to 90 days to close out the accounts and disperse the monies!” That’s TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE business practice. Mark Mattocks: The worst rental company I've ever had. Stay away ! If you need any info please call me.
Capital City Car Service: No review necessary others have nailed it on the head!!
Aaron Peake: Because no stars isn't an option!Rented from a wonderful couple from 2014-2019. I can't say enough good things about them. Everything was fine until they turned their properties over to Prime Property in the summer of 2018. I read some reviews and thought it was probably people over reacting. I was wrong. Prime is unresponsive, uncooperative, and unpleasant. When we got the notice that they were taking over management duties, it really kicked us into high gear to bite the bullet and buy a home. Couldn't be happier. Some things to plan on when dealing with Prime: be persistent with maintenance requests. They're ultra slow to even respond, let alone show up. When they do show up, it'll be whenever they feel like it, so you might not be home, and they'll just leave a note.Be persistent about every single thing that needs repair, otherwise they're going to withhold it from your security deposit. Think that small thing that broke will fall under "normal wear and tear"? Wrong. You're getting charged. Also, you'll either receive an explanation of why you're not getting your deposit, or the deposit minus charges on the very last day they are legally obligated to communicate with you. When moving out, if you're a decent person, you may request they walk through with you so that you know what they'll be looking for. They won't do this with you. They will however, schedule a showing of the place you're vacating. They've got time to do that, but not to assist you in any way. When we moved out, they dinged us for replacement parts that might cost $10. For that, they charged us $70 (because, ya know, labor). Oh! Here's a fun one - ask them for a copy of your move in checklist when it's time to vacate! This is where, personality wise, they get really bad! You'll be told that they don't legally have to provide you with that. You should have kept a copy of the original, which very well might be true.We were always good tenants. Always paid before the 1st of the month. My philosophy was to take care of the house like we owned it. But requesting a copy of the move in checklist must've come off like I was trying to get over on them. There's more, but I'm tired of typing. Long story short, find someplace else, but if you can't, COVER YOURSELF!(Bonus note! Received a letter dated December 26th that our rent was going up! Classy move!)
MJ Jones: I called to inquire about a house, the lady who picked the phone was everything but pleasant. Def not even going to bother to go further with the process.
micah dean: I hate this place. They let the previous renter paint and then charged me for it. I took pictures because I could not fit everything on the cheeklist sheet because there was no room. I am taking them to small claims court as soon as i can. Do not move on forest ave. It is mold in the house own the sun room from rain leakingg in. The house does not heat anywhere but the rooms if the doors are closed. They claimed they mopped and I've never been in the basement, but when i finally went down there there was a dead mouse that was mopped over and left there. I asked could they patch the holes in the property from the previous renter hanging pictures. They said its fine incase I wanted to hang some. I never did and they charged me for it. I took pictures over every nook and cranny and am taking them to court. I tried to settle it without this but I asked the lady who could I talk to and who is the owner and she just said there is no-one else but she doesn't own the place and I can't call no-one over her. Never never move in any property they over see. By the way the house water bags up because they know it needs piping and I dealt with that for 2 years
Marlette Malone: Prime Property Management aka Dehaven Real Estate is by far worse than Chris Garno and RPM Management. Contrary to what is being said NO DEHAVEN REAL ESTATE CHANGED their name to Prime Property Management due to a lot of their properties were being foreclosed on and red tagged by the City of Lansing. They were even renting out houses that had been red tagged by the City of Lansing without the City coming out to re-inspect. They simply pulled off the red tag and re-rented and the tenants knew nothing about it until the cops came to the door stating that the tenants couldn't be there. That's just dirty. And some of these tenants had small children.
Emily Allen: Just like everyone below said this lady is very awkward and rude on the phone with no customer service skills whatsoever. We make over 4 times the amount of rent and she still said we don’t qualify. They only accept one persons income to prescreen you and base it off the first 40 hours only... I guess their houses will continue to sit empty as perfectly acceptable candidates with excellent rental history are consistently turned down!!
Julie Hockey: Great experience so far. Was able to move in quickly and always willing help us and answer any questions.
Allison Bayes: I called about a rental I was interested in. When I was asked how much I made an hour, the very rude lady said, "well, that's not nearly enough!" She then promptly hung up on me before I could explain anything else, like having a roommate on the lease with me. If a business wants to actually make money and keep their clients happy, this isn't the way to do it!
Andrew Hanna: Shittiest experience of my life with renting a home. The rudest people that never made any situation enjoyable. The old lady I spoke to multiple times was very rude and snotty Becky was the only repectful/ responsible one. The old lady claims she's the owner but runs it like a child. If I were you I would never rent a property from this terrible business.
Matt Meehan: If I could give 0 stars I would the RUDEST people I've ever spoken to.
Derek Neben: I called about a property and was put on hold so the operator could take a personal call. I knew it was a personal call because the operator did not properly put me on hold and I could overhear their conversation.
Deanna Ritchie: I called to inquire about a couple of residential rental properties and spoke with a very rude woman. She spoke with me for less than 2 minutes and told me that I couldn't possibly afford the rent of her properties. When I addressed the way she was speaking to me her reply was that she could speak to me any way she liked. I'll take a higher rent and a more pleasant property manager over the lower cost of her properties any day.
Vae Victis: You can't even get ahold of these inept morons to ask about or see a property. They don't return calls or emails. Tells me all I need to know about this joke of a company.
DB Community: Don't trust them. Nasty manager. Very little integrity. They don't keep their properties in good condition, and you won't find any support from Lansing or Lansing Township officials, as they have poor inspection practices. Stay away from their properties in the Lansing area.
Steven Snyder: Total Ass Holes.
Stephen grassi: I called to ask about a home listing the lady was very rude and asked questions that did not pertain. Once I said that I had 5 kids she hung up on me.
Casey McGuire: I wouldn't even give them a star if I was able. The lady I talked about inquiring information on the house was extremely rude and snobby. I didn't even get a chance to ask a question about the property I was inquiring about before she asked for my income and after I told her (which is enough to pay the rent of the house) she became nasty with me. Don't bother coming here looking for a home!!
Franny Eldred: Stay away from this business! They are the biggest scammers! The worst property management company! They bill you every month for services but do nothing! My house was completely destroyed by the tenant they supposedly did a background check on (which I paid for)! They never did any check ups on the property and now I found out that the water bill they were sent every month was not paid for the entire time that tenant rented my house! Yes Dewitt township sent them and the tenant a bill and neither paid or made sure it was paid! This past due balance was added to my taxes! Almost a $400 bill each year for three years! Unfortunately with us living out of state we had to depend on this company to help manage our property and they did nothing! Do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction!

DTN Management Company: what do users think?
Ellen O'Neil: Terrible experience! The leasing office is extremely unorganized. They have several people who will pick up the phones and tell you completely different things when asking about your ledger or amount paid/owed. Americana Apartments have several bugs, mold issues, heating issues and more. It was not a pleasant place to live for the amount I was paying. The only thing that was enjoyable was the quick walk to campus it was. Everything else was stressful and the leasing office doesn’t help at all when trying to figure things out regarding maintenance or payments.
Chris Cosart: Hold onto your hats because this review is about to get spicy! Let me start by saying that I cannot fault the property itself or apartment – they were well-maintained and had a great neighborhood atmosphere, albeit with a slightly steeper price tag. However, while I can't blame the apartments for the theft of some items from the back of my truck, I can certainly blame the company for their unethical business practices! Here's the deal: I provided my keys and forwarding address when I left the apartment in the first week of January, the address was only valid for 30 days. I was promised a phone call and a statement balance within two weeks, but this never materialized. I assumed that my security deposit would cover any remaining charges, but boy was I wrong! DTN continued to add small charges to my account as late as February 16th, which was well past the two-week timeframe and even after my forwarding address had expired. To add insult to injury, DTN made absolutely no effort to contact me via phone, email, electronic notices, or any other means of communication. They claim to have sent notices to my forwarding address, but these never reached me, and the debt was sent to collections. Even as I write this review, I have not received a statement or notice to be able to validate the charges. The amount in question may seem small at $185.17, but the consequences of this unethical behavior are far-reaching. The collection agency is going to report this to the credit bureau regardless of payment, which will end up costing me thousands in interest on future mortgages. So, let me be clear: DTN may appear to be a reputable company, but their business practices are far from ethical. If you're considering renting from them, think again. They may treat you like a valued customer while you're signing up or renting from them, but once you're no longer of value to them, they'll toss you aside like yesterday's trash. I've given them multiple opportunities to make things right, but they've refused to do so. Don't make the same mistake I did – stay away from DTN Properties!
Tyreea Dennard: Debated on recommending a DTN property when my niece moved up to Michigan state. I did anyway because my experience with this company was a personal one as a (employee) was really sad to give up my bldg in Detroit that DTN managed but hey life is life..but from my nieces feedback they do a good job of running the property that she lives in; so we will give them 4 stars 😊
Marcus Latham-Price: Probably the worst property management company that I’ve ever dealt with. Currently waiting on hold to speak to the regional manager for my property.
C C: Paid the application fee and the $150 holding feee for the apartment. Was denied because of my credit from my divorce which was explained before i applied and was reassured I would still be approved. The took the $45 application fee and the $150 and refused to refund it after providing false information. Do not rent from here
Yusuf K. Basmaci: I was very happy with the team, their welcoming and their cooperation. Tammy Robinson particularly was very helpful and informative.
lindsey green: Thomas, the maintenance supervisor, came out to my apartment at night to fix my window. He got here quickly and worked for a long time so I could sleep comfortably. While he was here he looked around and fixed other problems that we didn’t even know we had. He was great and we appreciate him so much!!!!
Douglas Laurion: Though we took a different option, every DTN property was cleaner, more updated, often with more amenities. Already have revered a couple people to your website!
Dan Fleeger: I will always remember the time I worked and lived at Alpine Slopes apartments, owned by DTN. The the tenants and staff are top notch. If you are looking for an apartment or a job I recommend checking out Alpine Slopes. The remodeling headed by Shane is beautiful. I wish you all the success you deserve.
McKenna Mochty: Horrible. Door locks to main entrance have been broken since move-in and over 6 maintenance requests have been submitted , as well as going straight to the leasing office in person and nothing has been done. It’s always the same answer, they’re “working on it” and then nothing is done. Looked through reviews and the broken locks has been an issue since last year so clearly there is no plan of action. In the fall my roommates bike was stolen out of the garage, as those side doors are broken/unlocked and open access. End of december my other roommates car was broken into in the garage. My apartment was recently broken into with items stolen and moved. Management has done nothing. With the shooting happening and now a break in, this needs to be fixed. If you listen to one review, listen to this… DO NOT LIVE HERE!
Emma Jacobs: jake at the oaks is great!! super helpful and really friendly, and was very helpful giving tours & communicating with residents
Fernando Alí Giacomán Castillo: Great place, I lived there for over two years and I had no complaints what so ever, the only time I had an issue with the dryer they replaced for a brand new one. They do a great job maintaining the units and they are always willing to help and provide the right support for the situation.
Chris Kyser: Ricky tannis and his helper was tremendous help today and more then friendly 10 out of 10 recommend
Serena Son (공반이): I lived in stone falls of Ada for 3yrs. During my last year the company was sold to DTN. After I vacated my apartment I was charged with over 2600 dollars. Ok. I accept some damages that were done by my pet and other things. On my dispute letter I clearly explained the charges I was responsible for and the charges i felt like they were over charging me for or should have been wear and tear. I send the letter within 7 days as its required to be sent. I was waiting patienly for the response (they say they will respond with in 45days) . Today I get a call from a collecting agency that my debt(?) was now with them. Why on earth do you have your tenants write this so called dispute letter if you are not going to respond? I called DTN left voice messages to this very rude person named Debbie. She calls back and practically laughs to me and tells me " oh you better pay them fast because they will report you to the credit companies" I asked her why the balance was sent to collection agencies when nothing was agreed or discussed upon... and she says " Oh I reject your letter " I asked her why then she did not write back and she says " I left you a voice message " is this even legal? Just the way she was treating me was just horrible to say the least. I feel so stupid for thinking I was going to amicably talk to someone and find a resolution. Would not recommend this company (the apartments) to anyone.
Kyle King (Kyle King): If you’re thinking about staying here…DON’TThese people are despicable There is too much riskConcerns actually don’t get answered when you read these comments. The 1 star reviews are the “actual truth.”When you move out you will get a trash/utility bill hidden on your account & won’t notice til your credit report is affected by it and now you have a collection. There are hundreds of reviews that badmouth this place, so read in between the lines and STAY AWAY!They have been trained on the saying “there is nothing we can do.”I have had friends that will never live here againI have heard stories of people getting done wrong in this placeI have heard of the unknown charges & experienced themIf you live here, you are asking to be taken advantage of…The office you call is a salary paid worker (manager)The next level of management is still middle managementYou will never get on the phone with an actual executive that will resolve your problemMost people will pay the unknown charges; you have more power!Don’t mind the comment under here that says they regret; it just neutralizes the situation. If you are looking at your options; DTN is not the answer!(If someone sees this, I suggest you contact me)
F B: Excellent customer service over the phone!
Jon Lopez: Worst staff. They laugh in your face and on the phone. They don't acknowledge their mistake, or try to make things right. They will take your money and leave you to deal with things yourself.
t s: Stay away! This company does not care about the safety of their tenants, they do not provide adequate security cameras we have had 1 vehicle broken into and lost thousands of dollars in tools. We asked management to see cameras they informed us they are old and don’t work very well. Then two months later we had our vehicle stolen from the same parking lot where they still haven’t updated their security systems basically told us the same thing. The expense of cameras vs the amount they are charging for rent really makes sense as to why they haven’t updated them COMPLETE JOKE!
Alexis S: I am so incredibly glad to be graduating so I do NOT have to deal with DTN another year. Last year living at Glennwood was an absolute mess and the manager there was unaccommodating and pretty much will lie to you, as well as the staff there doesn’t know much so don’t ever really believe them no matter how many times you call. There was also mold which the manager seemed unconcerned about and they painted over and basically said good luck as they wouldn’t provide a mold testing kit- we would’ve had to pay out of pocket for one. This year at Campus View (which we would not have signed with another DTN community as our experience at Glennwood happened after we had signed) has already been extremely frustrating, it feels like they make up fees as they please without warning or help & charge an extra $5 for cable than what is advertised on the providers site. The Oaks is the “home” office and they are so disorganized it’s insane. You will be charged for renters insurance even though you have it (yes, you’ll have to pay it and then they’ll credit you- which you shouldn’t even have to pay it.) and when you go in the office you’ll hear the female manager complaining about tenants and talking pretty rudely about people needing maintenance or help within the community.TLDR: DTN bites off way more than they can chew
Michael Davenport: Kennedy Townsend made my management request an easy and convenient process!
Jessica Denman (Jess): Enjoy contracting with them on apartment turnover cleans. Polite and professional

Prime Housing Group: what do users think?
Sam Shuster: I have rented a 1 bedroom apartment in the Stoddard building for over a year now. While the location of the apartments are super convenient, the upstairs and basement apartments should not be priced the same. I lived in an upstairs apartment my first year and I am currently living in a basement apartment for a second year. However, if I am paying the same amount for the apartments, then I should be given items of the same quality. The basement apartment does not have the same shower storage as upstairs and because the shower head is not flush with the wall, due to inadequate tile placement, a shower caddy cannot be hung. This has been inconvenient for me, as the bathroom is already small, so I have nowhere to put my belongings. The bathroom mirror in the basement apartment also has a major deformity to where there is a large black glob on the mirror. The bathroom mirror in the upstairs apartment was of better quality and they have not discussed replacing the mirror even after informing them on the check-in inventory list. In addition, the kitchen cabinets in the basement apartment have missing shelves and are much more warped than those upstairs. I had to call maintenance on several occasions to fix the cabinets because they would not latch due to how warped they were. Even though maintenance was quick to fix them, I did not have this issue upstairs. They should just get new cabinets anyways because the current ones are outdated. Furthermore, the placement of the entry door in the basement apartments makes the space seem much smaller and makes it challenging to put the kitchen table (that they give you) anywhere that is not in the way. Another issue I have had with the basement apartment is bugs. They sprayed the exterior for ants which I appreciated, but regardless of my weekly cleanings, I still find many earwigs and spiders throughout the year. Maintenance informed me that there “was nothing they could do” because “it is a basement apartment” which is unfortunate. This was not an issue I had in the upstairs apartment. Overall, I would look elsewhere before signing a lease for one of Stoddard’s basement apartments.I also agree with what another reviewer had said about the couches being disgusting. They really are gross. I appreciate the gesture, but when I receive a couch that is stained, outdated, and torn, I would rather just provide my own. In addition, the laundry machines given in the Stoddard building are very outdated. The “laundry room” is basically a walk-in closet on the exterior of the building. Upon entry there is a rusty washing machine, an outdated dryer, exposed water pipes in the ceiling, and cobwebs. I haven't even bother using the machines because of how gross the room is, so I have been using a local laundromat which is very nice and safe but has become expensive.UPDATE: It is currently March with winter weather and I am still finding bugs everywhere. These basement apartments are absolutely disgusting and I would not live here regardless of the price. They have sprayed my apartment twice for bugs and it changed absolutely nothing. Ants, centipedes, spiders, and earwigs...you name it and I probably got it. I clean weekly and it makes absolutely no difference. These bugs are everywhere...bathroom, bedroom, living room. So unless youre a bug lover, find somewhere else to live!
John Pierce: Terrible management. Unprofessional, unfriendly, money chasers are the best way to describe the PHG staff. They are not concerned with your comfort or satisfaction regarding living spaces. Please consider staying elsewhere if you are a college student or looking for a place to reside in Lansing; avoid this management group at all costs!
Sebastian Rydlicki: Good people and fair about everything. Nice and not rude for no reason. Prices good for location too. More amenities/furnishings would be nice but I’m being picky & again with this price I cannot complain.
Noel Vazquez: Rented a 1 bedroom on Stoddard for 9 months and the dirty old couch that came with the lease was infested with bed bugs. They refused to let me throw away the old couch and had me pay out of pocket for the exterminator.
Jennifer Andrella: I lived in Stoddard for five years and the only reason why I moved was because of the timing and the pandemic. If I could have stayed I would. My experience with my apartment and with Prime Housing Group was wonderful. The office staff were always friendly and responsive, and I was NEVER surprised additional expenses or fees. The maintenance staff were always on top of everything and responded quickly to work orders. I also appreciated the safety maintenance (routine checks of fire alarms and fire extinguisher, for example). It’s an older building, but maintained so well. The building itself was incredibly quiet for being on Stoddard Ave, which was important to me as a grad student. If you are stuck choosing between Prime Housing Group and DTN, absolutely choose Prime Housing Group. Now that I am renting with DTN, I wish I stayed with PHG (again, limited choices from the pandemic). You will not find a more transparent or friendlier apartment company to work with than PHG.
Tayler Murphy: I lived in Norwood for 4 years while I've been in grad school. And right until the end I thought the apartments were just okay. Lots of loud neighbors, lots of smokers, no one knows how to park between the lines in the lot, but nothing that was necessarily the fault of Prime Housing. Its close to campus, was partially furnished so the small things I didn't like I over looked. But then I decided to move. My girlfriend (I'm also a woman which is important to the story) was helping me move out. She accidentally got locked out of the front door of the building, a prime housing maintenance person was working and she asked if he could let her in, said she was helping me move. Kindly he said yes. They struck up a conversation which quickly turned sour. He began talking about a couple who were mentors to him as a young man, and remarked "this country needs more families like that, with 1 mother and 1 father." This casual homophobia terrified my gf, and when she told me it also terrified me. She was scared to even leave my apartment to go home after that encounter. Very glad that didn't happen until my second to last day there, because it would have been awful to live with that fear of someone who has access to your building. Full transparency they also kept part of my security deposit for stupid reasons. $16 for oven pans, that were still fine looking when I moved out (I have a full video of exactly how I left the apartment including showing that every light bulb worked). Definitely should have been considered normal wear and tear, since I lived there for 4 years, and a couple of brown spots from aluminum oven pans is inevitable. They also kept money for a "missing" mailbox key, which I have pictures showing me putting it in an envelope with all my other keys and putting in the drop box so I have no idea why its "missing". They also did not provide me with a detailed list of money withheld from the security deposit at my forwarding address (which I provided them with at move out) before 30 days, the MI law says "Landlords who do not provide tenants with notice within 30 days, forfeit the right to keep any of the tenant’s security deposit." I don't care in the slightest about them keeping part of my security deposit, just being honest about my experience. And hoping to warn of some homophobia I experienced.
Y N: Would not recommended it. The staffs are nice but the apartment needs too many basic "upgrades". I don't even want to call them upgrades. There is not a microwaves, no garbage disposal, washing machine looks it is from the 1970s (this may actually be true, not a hyperbola), and very old furnitures, air condition in only one room. However, it is close to campus and cheaper than many near by apartment. If you add the cost of internet, and all the things you needs to buy, this place is actually not that cheap. But, if you don't needs all those things I listed, this would be great place near campus.
FlyingFox: Prime Housing group (specifically Taquira) was an exceptional place for my daughter to live during her last two years of undergrad at MSU. She lived at Cedarview East and it was quiet, serene and as close to campus without being actually 'on campus'. Taquira was very responsive to any repair or need. I highly recommend Cedarview East with Prime Housing Group!
Fangfang Wang: If you want to find a place you would like to call "home" in East Lansing, no matter you're international or domestic, you should never miss Prime Housing Group.People here are super friendly. I'm surprised that they remember my name! Super friendly! Maintenance is efficient. All my requests could be fixed within one day.The environment is perfect! Adjacent to the river. In summer you can enjoy afternoon tea or have a picnic with friends under trees, in winter you can enjoy the snow. If you want to walk in the woods, it just takes less than 10 minutes walk.Convenience: restaurants, supermarkets, cafes are just across the road. You can reach WholeFoods, Target, Fresh International Market (full of Asian foods) just by walk. The apartment is super spacious and almost fully furnished. It is safe here.Traffic: you can walk to campus. Bus No.1 stop is just 1 minute away.I enjoy my stay here, and I believe you would not feel regret for living here with all you want.
Laine Gilmore: I absolutely love living here, compared to the apartment complex I lived in last year, this place is heaven. The management and maintenance team if full of genuinely kind and caring people. My one bed room apartment is so spacious and so affordable compared to the other options near campus. Oh and I also love how heat is free so I can stay nice and cozy during the winter weather! I highly recommended living here, I love it so much I already renewed my lease for next year!
Kent Katsuda: I have lived with Prime Housing Group for the past year and a half. The staff has been very helpful. The location of my apartment is very convenient for getting around town, as it is close to MSU's campus and there are many stores near by.
Dinkar Kokje: As an international student, I had reservations on where to live for my graduate studies. I was looking for options closer to the campus but within affordable budget. Prime Housing Group checked all the criteria that I was looking for - Spacious living, best possible rates for such close proximity to the campus and East Lansing downtown. The Office guys are super helpful and always welcome you with a great smile. I have been living here since 2 years and have no complaints. I would love to continue living here if my job allows me to. But all in all, great place to live for students and those working near Lansing area.
Dylan Gray: Have lived here for a year now, about to be two! Great price and location! Office staff is very responsive and understanding
Lissa Saad: I live in Cedarview East in a one bed one bath apartment. It is easily my favorite apartment I've had and I am even considering resigning. The staff is friendly, super responsive, and the apartment itself is (in my opinon) perfect for college students. The pricing is fair, it is close to campus and it is right on Grand River, making it a very convenient spot to live. The complexes are slightly older, but my apartment is very nice especially for one person, and it is very spacious too.
Tyler Weisner: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessThey’ve been told dozens of times there are homeless people sleeping in the building hallways and haven’t done anything. They ask their residents to give good reviews for giveaways. BEWARE many good reviews are for that.
Omar Posos: I have lived there in 2 different apartments, and the experience has been good so far. The apartments should probably be bigger, mainly the ones that are located in the Riverside complex, but the rest has been good! I am from Mexico, which is the right choice if you want to live close to MSU.
Elia Reif: Positive:ValueWe are very pleased with the environment at Chief Okemos Circle. The neighbors are respectful and we are grateful for the affordable rate as well!
Savannah Pohl: I have really enjoyed living here. After living in 3 other locations in East Lansing, I can say that Prime Housing Group is my absolute favorite! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a short walk to campus and downtown. The apartment itself is very spacious with an unbeatable view of grand river. I wish I would have found Prime Housing Group sooner. The rent is extremely affordable with parking and heat included. 10/10
Mackenzie Natin: I decided to live in Prime Housing Group’s property after living in a DTN apartment and hating it. DTN never respected my privacy and was always bothering me treating my home as a model unit for tours. Prime Housing Group has been nothing but amazing. The staff is kind and very helpful.I currently live in Cedarview East and think it is a great value especially for how close it is to campus if you are a student. It’s quiet and very clean. I wish I knew about Prime Housing Group before signing with DTN in years past. Highly recommend!
Lasya Marla: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI absolutely love living here. In fact, I even renewed my lease! It is an extremely large apartment for a very affordable price. It is great for entertaining guests. It is also a walkable distance to classes and social scenes such as bars. The staff is very responsive and kind. I would highly recommend living here!
Paige Coleman: Positive:Quality,ResponsivenessI love this apartment and the management is so nice! The location is great and in a safe environment.

Community Resource Management Co: what do users think?
Katie Kozak: Bats in the house and squirrels in the walls
Shane McHugh: Would give zero stars if possible. No matter how great the location of the properties they have, dealing with this company is truly not worth it. They will charge you for things that are their fault, they will be late to do any sort of repairs, the rent they charge is overpriced, and they will be difficult to deal with. Truly the worst company i have ever interacted with.
Tyler Sladick: Worst people on the planet. Only care about your money, WAYYY overcharge you for their own mistakes and their own poor craftsmanship. Will nickel and dime you to death for a house that is borderline able to be condemned.
christopher Mensinger: they bought the chalets when i lived there.... terrible people rude and invasive tell them i say :) (might be haunted with ghosts)
Dan Harber: The greed and immaturity that drives this 'company' is disfunctional and annoying. You will be blamed and over-charged for damages that they cause. I will never live in with these bafoons again. .
Deb Deb: Do not rent with crmc. They will make bogus claims to keep your security deposit. If you do rent with them, take and keep photos of move in and out. Make sure they give you copies of any and all documents including your move in sheet. They are slum lords and the people that work for them are dishonest. I would never ever recommend them.
Giselle Ledezma: Don’t live in 551 N Hagadorn, it’s the worse. Also, listen to the reviews.
Will: crmc straight up robbed me and my roommates kf $800. do not rent with them if you can avoid it
jack mundell: Any review over 1 star your hear about this company is most likely written from an employee. This company is garbage. If you plan to rent through them, steer another direction for your own sake.
Madeline Shank: I was nervous about renting through CRMC because of all the lower reviews I'd seen on here, but my roommate's and my experience with them was honestly really good. They were very responsive with any maintenance issue we had (a leak in the bathroom, replacing a light bulb that was tough to find in stores, helping with a shower issue) and were always kind and responsive on the phone whenever we called with concerns or questions. The rent was very reasonable and reminders about payments and what we needed to take care of prior to moving in/out were communicated well and in a timely matter.
Zach Gramling: The experience I had with CRMC has been absolutely horrible. They do not care about their tenants at all. We have called maintenance about our broken ice machines around 20 times. Every time they say they will get on that and send someone over, it never happens! They also told us to our face we would get new fridges because we are”family and fellow Spartans”. They never gave us the new appliances. They will lie to you over the phone because they know that college kids don’t have the best living situation, and CRMC will be able to save money by not fixing things. We have paid them over 50k in rent but still somehow get treated very poorly. I would advise you to never rent from them and stay away. Money hungry company that doesn’t care about their customers.
Matthew Heilman: Critical:Quality,Responsiveness
a a: Critical:ProfessionalismProbably the worst leasing company in east lansing. So unprofessional, the 50 year old who work there women act entitled and rude. Maintenance hasn’t come since we move in, in august. And the leasing office is unprofessional and rude. Don’t waste your time……
Scott Bolt: Critical:ProfessionalismTerrible customer service and not professional at all. Might be the worst rental management company I have ever saw or heard of.
Skyleigh Chavez: Have been here since august, and am renting a house… if you want a place through them that’s a constant issue by all means rent through them. Upon moving in I discovered BLACK MOLD in the closets in the basement bedroom and after telling them it was literal black mold they pushed away the issue for a week until one of my parents called and made someone get out here after almost threatening them. Once someone finally came out they tried to treat the issue as “mildew” and told me if it comes back in 3 days to call them. Sure enough, it came back and it came back 20x worse. They removed the wall and poorly installed wood slabs as the replacement. On top of this, we have called about termites, which surprise, never got taken care of, but thankfully it’s cold now so we won’t have to deal with them for a while, we also complained about our toilet flushing 2x, completely disregarded that issue because the maintenance had no idea why it was doing that and blamed the house being “old”. Now currently I’m dealing with a leaky roof which the maintenance woman at the front desk said “we’ll put in a work order” and me knowing how they run, this situation won’t get resolved. I’ve sadly, renewed my lease for next year, but am seriously thinking about taking this company to get my issues resolved and prove how bad they really are to a 3rd party. DO NOT RENT THROUGH THEM. Period.
Eric Jutila: While they seem a little sketchy, my personal experience with them was not bad at all. The rent was affordable, they fixed everything I asked for within a reasonable time, and they were pretty nice to me overall. The reason why I give 5 stars is because when I broke my ankle and explained to them that I could no longer live in the apartment that I had contracted for because of the stairs, they let me out of that contract and found me another apartment that had less stairs. The apartment was bigger and outside of my price range, but they gave me a discount because some other people had backed out of it last second (I was lucky). The imporant thing to note here is that they let me out of my prior contract (before starting living there) without any fees!I have lived in 2 of their apartments before and can say that one downside is that both were pretty old. However, when you comepare the rent prices to newer buildings in East Lansing, I would say the drop in quality is entirely justified by the lower rent. I can't speak to any of the horror stories mentioned in any of the other reviews, but my experience was positive overall.
Jack Hawkins: Understand it is almost impossible to find a company who actually cares about their clients instead of ripping off broke college students. CRMC is no different. Lived in a house in which CRMC brought in over $130,000 per year through lease ($750/month x 15 people). Had to call five times in a 3-4 week span to get our second dryer fixed in which I finally had to raise my voice and get a little rude back with the lady who would not listen. This is unfortunately how most companies are, just giving my two sense.
Rakesh Ray: No working AC when moved in. They won’t listen to students, my daughter called 5 times, parent had to call in. Finally we got dusty and unhealthy AC for summer that causes breathing problems. They promised new AC in few weeks and no delivery. Now winter is setting in and AC leaks cold air from outside. Bugs coming in. If anyone from CRMC management is reading this please help. This is matter of tenant’s health and safety. Bumped up rating from 1 to 3 star after getting new AC, but it took lot of calls to get this far.
Alexander Sottrel: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ValueCrooks
Ameno: Critical:ProfessionalismAbsolute horrible company to rent through. Many things broken in my house upon entry back in May and are yet to be fixed. Excuses like “we are busy with new tenants” is a joke. They have the obligation to tend to their tenants but they never do. Will definitely take some sort of action to get money back for this joke of a lease.
Cindy Taraskiewicz: If you want your children to rent from slumlords than go with this company. The girls moved into a dirty house that was not cleaned after paying a $600 cleaning fee. The girls ended up cleaning the house before they moved . The property was not maintained. Weeds are overgrown around the property. Trash around the property beer cans in the egress windows trash in the egress windows shoes in the egress windows. Rodents in the house three rodents within six days. Yet they can email about rent being on time.

First Housing Corporation: what do users think?
Stef S: UPDATE: Changed from 1 start to 5. Short staffing is an issue a lot of companies face. It shouldn't negatively affect them. I appreciate the quick response and contact information provided below! Worked with First Housing Corporation and my question is answered and my issue is resolved. How do you get a return phone call? Been trying to reach someone about a pet deposit refund check. No one answers the phone. No one replies to voicemails. I have been instructed I have to talk to First Housing Corp for assistance. How does anyone get help?
Mary A Love-Harris: Should be LAST Housing Corporation!! Filthy hallways, dirty laundry rooms, refuses to clean apartment buildings... Corporate NEVER answers the phones or returns residents voicemail messages... its turning into the GHETTO big time! Poor mindset residents and friends constantly damaging the doors (which is a safety hazard) and they do nothing about people dumping...
Elizabeth Piveronus: We rented from first housing for years They go above and beyond
Jan Mccrumb: Two star is pushing it. The 1030 Woodale LaneLansing Michigan 48917 is being neglected. Why the upper management apparently caresonly about their bottom line, the DOLLAR.There’s no reason this has to look trashy. As they say ,”Soap and water is cheap.”Let’s get this back up to where it was 4 years ago. Disappointed Residents
Jeff Allshouse: Very Unprofessional, said they would CALL ME BACK by the END of the WEEK & as of FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2022, have NOT HEARD from THEM!
Mommy Lifestyle: UPDATE: no one has helped me on this situation. They denied me in an unfair manner. I'm sure Kathy denied me because of my review. They claim it was because of false information given. That's not true I literally gave this woman everything she asked for In truth.Kathy in compliance violated my personal finances and is causing my family a lot of stress.Because of her we have not moved even though we gave what was requested over a month ago. She is not responsive. She told me to write a letter explaining what my cashapp and zelle deposits were coming from. Which I think is too extreme to dig that deep in my finances when I mentioned on 2 different papers that I am stay at home mom and that my husband provided the income. Basically I did what she asked twice and it still wasn't good enough and I still haven't heard back from them in 3 weeks.
J Craig: A great company to work for that stand by their employees, They care about their residents and go above and beyond to solve any issues that they may have.
Dallas Dingman: I would not recommend working here under any circumstances.
Amanda Wolters: Management has done a bit of work fixing this property up.
William Philo: The Management works with tenants and their issues to try and make it a nice place to live. The Maintenance people do a very good job keeping up with the building and property, and with the new beautification; things are looking much better.

Mulder Management: what do users think?
Robert Gensel: Critical:QualityFor 2 months now when it rains my bedroom floods like the whole floor soaked and they just keep sucking the water up doing nothing about the actual Issue causing it
mandy laferriere: The worst landlord I’ve ever had. I live at Tammany Hills Apartments and there is zero communication between myself and the leasing office as I’m trying to get my air conditioner replaced. This has been going on for 2 months! I’ve even tried leaving numerous messages with the office manager Wendy. I’ve been told to write a letter to Mulder Management. This place is a joke. No customer service whatsoever, they only care about getting your rent check.
Brad L: Terrible company to rent from on all accounts. Does not care about or respond to maintenance requests. Doesn’t take care of the properties so they’re to a livable standard. Everyone that works for the company pushes responsibility to the main office which can only be reached by writing a letter which you won’t get a response to. Do whatever you can to stay away from any Mulder Management. It’ll be the biggest mistake you make and you’ll regret signing any papers with them.
Andrew Counseller: Positive:QualityMulder Apartments has been a great management group of the apartment complex that I reside in. They have friendly, helpful staff and an awesome community here at Tammony on the Ponds.
Razeen Hassan: This was my worst landlord i have ever had.... i had a flood in my basement and they never did what they said they would do. I was promised a carpet clean and they never honored ther word. I would call the office with a problem or question and i would always have to leave a vm, never got any call backs. Very frustrating! And when i was waiting on my deposit back they stated i didn't pay for my last months rent... even though i was told that i am all set.... so i will b getting ahold of the better business bureau and sharing my complaints... it's not fair that i always paid on time and took care of my duplex but they never made me feel like that was HOME
Ryan Howser: BELOW 1 star. I rent from Del Mar Apartments. My downstairs apartment flooded and management compensated me NOTHING for having my master bedroom unusable for a month. They told me I could move to an upstairs apartment, by paying the additional rent to get that apartment AND I had to sign a lease extension. CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. After I did this in order to save my own lungs (mildew and mold in the walls from the flooding) I ended up getting a new job in another city. In order to break the lease they said I would have to pay the ENTIRE lease in full AND a $200 fee. MORE CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. This company blocked me from subleasing my apartment and it is clear all they want is money. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a property management company. I am filing a complaint with the AG's office for this type of lease behavior and am in talks with a personal attorney and will be filing in small claims court to get out of this lease. CROOKS AT THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY. DO NOT LEASE FROM THEM.
Mel O.: when i first moved to stone ridge meadows apartments, the office staff was very accommodating of getting me a room in such a short amount of time. besides the tenants above me being extremely loud and inconsiderate, the apartments here are somewhat decent. i'm giving mulder management a 1 star rating because of how i've recently been treated for a mistake they made. tenants have to mail in their rent. my rent from november 2016 was lost in the mail and i was not notified of the missing rent until june 2017. mulder management had no problem charging me a $40 late fee each month but failed to notify me of the missing rent until several months later. i was able to trace the money order and repay the missing rent, but because of this mistake, i've been getting denied at other apartments because my rental history looks like i'm behind $900 (missing rent + late fees). i asked mulder management to update my ledger and have it to me within a few days. instead of the landlord fixing her mistake and apologizing for the inconvenience, she said she would get me the ledger when she has time. my lease is up soon and i still don't have a place to live because the landlord has chosen not to correct this issue immediately. it's disgusting how i've been treated for a mistake made by the landlord. they got their money but do not want to help me until it fits their time schedule. do your research before signing a lease at one of their apartments.
