Hagan Realty, Inc.: what do users think?
James Voges: Slum lords that sued the city because they don’t want their tenants voting.
Blake V: Like Matt. Good guy.
Samantha Bluga: Rented from them for 2 years in different houses. My roommates and I took very good care of the house and each time they took an outrageous amount of money from our security deposit for every little thing.
Nolan Ott: I rented with Hagan for two years in college and they are as good as it gets. Very responsive to any maintenance issues that we had, great with communication, and surprisingly were able to keep track of who was who. Fast response times, gave back the security deposit in a very timely manor, helpful on any issues. 100% would recommend
Wendy Walker: Hagan Realty was great to work with during my son's apartment lease. Kevin went out of his way to help during a difficult situation. Thanks!
G J: I really recommend that you with go CRMC if you are gonna rent a property in East Lansing. These guys will do any little thing they can to take money from you. They will do things like charge a cleaning fee and then not clean. They also show up to your house unannounced and are slow to respond to maintenance requests. Don’t expect to get your security deposit back if you rent through hagan.
Nancy Cotant: Daughter and roommates have rented for 2 yrs from Hagan. They were very helpful finding them a place when DTN gave them last minute notice that they decided to rent their place to a fraternity. Communication and maintenance have been outstanding. I do think a lease start date of Aug 1 rather than Aug 31 would be nicer for the tenants to get settled in before school starts. Skip the DTN BS and rent from Hagan 😊
Erin Dinunzio: I rented from Hagan for two years. They frequently had handymen/women come in without a warning email and without any time window. I also stored furniture in the basement of the apartment building (for which I asked permission) and over the summer they asked some units if the furniture was theirs and then when those tenants stated it was not theirs, they threw all of my stuff out without a warning or acknowledgement. When I found out they had thrown my belongings out, they offered only a “sorry” and blamed me for not responding to an email that I didn’t receive. They were slow to respond to emails and were a general displeasure to rent from. They clearly don’t treat their tenants with respect.
Abby Parsons: I rented from Hagan for 2 years at MSU and cannot recommend them enough. When we had a few maintenance issues they were quick to send someone out to help fix it. Also, since my lease ran from May-May and we choose not to have subleases our first summer of renting we did not know to switch over the utilities. Hagan was paying these for us and when we moved in at the begging of the school year billed us for them with a fee. When we explained that we had just moved off campus and we're new to everything they removed the fee and were extremely understanding. After hearing so many of my friend's complaints about other realty companies, I'm grateful I choose Hagan.
Matt Good: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThese guys are the best landlord's in East Lansing by far. They are willing to work with you and their customer service has always been solid. Highly recommend
Michaella Page: extremely rude if thats what you're looking for!! also super slow at getting back to you with maintenance issues. would not recommend.
Tim Hughes: I have worked with Hagan Realty for two year as my son and his friends have rented a home from them on Albert Street. They have been prompt and professional with a few minor maintenance issues that have come up. They answer the phone promptly and are very courteous. One time my son and I rolled into town without a key and they let us use a spare to access the house. I would highly recommend this rental management team!
CVX: Very very rude people and in addition very disrespectful to the ELDP, arrogant jerks
Evan Wendell: I rented from Hagan for 3 years during college at MSU. Best rental company in town. Honest guys who actually fix any issues at their properties as soon as they arise. Great to work with, always friendly.
Paula Wolf: When I went to see the house my son was going to live in, not gonna lie, it was a disaster. But it was due to the residents living there at the time. I walked thru the property with Brian, one of the owners. Brian listened to my concerns and assured me all would be addressed. When I showed up at the house on moving day, I was prepared for the worst. To my pleasant surprise, the house looked great! Everything was repainted, carpets cleaned and all garbage that was ankle deep throughout the house during the first tour of the property, was gone!!!! Amazing!! I give Brian and Hagan Realty an A+ rating! Super job! Thanks for making a mom's job a little easier!!!
Cristina Szatkiewski: I rented from them for 2 years in college, and if I didn't graduate I would've rented from them forever! Very nice guys. Very nice homes. Any maintenance needs were fixed quickly and the guys were very transparent throughout the signing process and beyond; they made sure that we understood the lease and what was owed. Got full security deposit back both years.
Grant Billings: Fantastic landlords. When signing up originally, the owners took over an hour to go line-by-line through the lease to ensure we understood everything we were liable for. When our washer broke, they had servicemen out within an hour. With the fridge, same deal, providing energy-efficient, large appliances to replace the old ones. It's amazing how good these guys are at their job, always keeping us up to date on what's going on with our property and providing prompt and immediate service when it's necessary. When we neglected to start our gas service when we moved in, they helped us figure out how to cover our first missed payment and even fronted the money to the utilities company so we wouldn't get docked. They've cleared drains multiple time when we had clogged showers and sinks, and redirected/cleared our heating system when we weren't getting adequate climate control thoughout the house. They took care of shoveling service over the breaks. They even recognize us when we come in to pay rent, even though they've only seen us less than three times. They also put up with some awkward moments where my roommates and I sent some confusing communication over to their office. Thanks guys, I'm glad we chose Hagan for our first year off campus!
Bujar Dervishaj: Great people , any time i had an issue they took care of it asap!
Mo Maz: Great people, always with a quick and thorough response. They will always work with you and do their best to address issues. Maintenance was never delayed and was in and out
Ricardo Garcia: Run by a couple of great guys. We lived in a house a bit farther from campus for two years and we saw nothing but responsibility and respect from our landlords. They understood what normal ware and tear happens and were down to earth when we talked with them about it. Even when we had issues with a door being broken they were reasonable in pricing it where it should have been for the quality of door in this house. Great company would rent from again if I was still in college.
Eluhkayee O: These guys are nothing but crooks. Their business practices are unethical and the staff is terrible to deal with. There is most certainly a reason these con-men aren't BBB accredited. It's terrifying to think that they are in control of large sums of your money for any period of time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT give your money to these people.

DTN Management Company: what do users think?
Ellen O'Neil: Terrible experience! The leasing office is extremely unorganized. They have several people who will pick up the phones and tell you completely different things when asking about your ledger or amount paid/owed. Americana Apartments have several bugs, mold issues, heating issues and more. It was not a pleasant place to live for the amount I was paying. The only thing that was enjoyable was the quick walk to campus it was. Everything else was stressful and the leasing office doesn’t help at all when trying to figure things out regarding maintenance or payments.
Chris Cosart: Hold onto your hats because this review is about to get spicy! Let me start by saying that I cannot fault the property itself or apartment – they were well-maintained and had a great neighborhood atmosphere, albeit with a slightly steeper price tag. However, while I can't blame the apartments for the theft of some items from the back of my truck, I can certainly blame the company for their unethical business practices! Here's the deal: I provided my keys and forwarding address when I left the apartment in the first week of January, the address was only valid for 30 days. I was promised a phone call and a statement balance within two weeks, but this never materialized. I assumed that my security deposit would cover any remaining charges, but boy was I wrong! DTN continued to add small charges to my account as late as February 16th, which was well past the two-week timeframe and even after my forwarding address had expired. To add insult to injury, DTN made absolutely no effort to contact me via phone, email, electronic notices, or any other means of communication. They claim to have sent notices to my forwarding address, but these never reached me, and the debt was sent to collections. Even as I write this review, I have not received a statement or notice to be able to validate the charges. The amount in question may seem small at $185.17, but the consequences of this unethical behavior are far-reaching. The collection agency is going to report this to the credit bureau regardless of payment, which will end up costing me thousands in interest on future mortgages. So, let me be clear: DTN may appear to be a reputable company, but their business practices are far from ethical. If you're considering renting from them, think again. They may treat you like a valued customer while you're signing up or renting from them, but once you're no longer of value to them, they'll toss you aside like yesterday's trash. I've given them multiple opportunities to make things right, but they've refused to do so. Don't make the same mistake I did – stay away from DTN Properties!
Tyreea Dennard: Debated on recommending a DTN property when my niece moved up to Michigan state. I did anyway because my experience with this company was a personal one as a (employee) was really sad to give up my bldg in Detroit that DTN managed but hey life is life..but from my nieces feedback they do a good job of running the property that she lives in; so we will give them 4 stars 😊
Marcus Latham-Price: Probably the worst property management company that I’ve ever dealt with. Currently waiting on hold to speak to the regional manager for my property.
C C: Paid the application fee and the $150 holding feee for the apartment. Was denied because of my credit from my divorce which was explained before i applied and was reassured I would still be approved. The took the $45 application fee and the $150 and refused to refund it after providing false information. Do not rent from here
Yusuf K. Basmaci: I was very happy with the team, their welcoming and their cooperation. Tammy Robinson particularly was very helpful and informative.
lindsey green: Thomas, the maintenance supervisor, came out to my apartment at night to fix my window. He got here quickly and worked for a long time so I could sleep comfortably. While he was here he looked around and fixed other problems that we didn’t even know we had. He was great and we appreciate him so much!!!!
Douglas Laurion: Though we took a different option, every DTN property was cleaner, more updated, often with more amenities. Already have revered a couple people to your website!
Dan Fleeger: I will always remember the time I worked and lived at Alpine Slopes apartments, owned by DTN. The the tenants and staff are top notch. If you are looking for an apartment or a job I recommend checking out Alpine Slopes. The remodeling headed by Shane is beautiful. I wish you all the success you deserve.
McKenna Mochty: Horrible. Door locks to main entrance have been broken since move-in and over 6 maintenance requests have been submitted , as well as going straight to the leasing office in person and nothing has been done. It’s always the same answer, they’re “working on it” and then nothing is done. Looked through reviews and the broken locks has been an issue since last year so clearly there is no plan of action. In the fall my roommates bike was stolen out of the garage, as those side doors are broken/unlocked and open access. End of december my other roommates car was broken into in the garage. My apartment was recently broken into with items stolen and moved. Management has done nothing. With the shooting happening and now a break in, this needs to be fixed. If you listen to one review, listen to this… DO NOT LIVE HERE!
Emma Jacobs: jake at the oaks is great!! super helpful and really friendly, and was very helpful giving tours & communicating with residents
Fernando Alí Giacomán Castillo: Great place, I lived there for over two years and I had no complaints what so ever, the only time I had an issue with the dryer they replaced for a brand new one. They do a great job maintaining the units and they are always willing to help and provide the right support for the situation.
Chris Kyser: Ricky tannis and his helper was tremendous help today and more then friendly 10 out of 10 recommend
Serena Son (공반이): I lived in stone falls of Ada for 3yrs. During my last year the company was sold to DTN. After I vacated my apartment I was charged with over 2600 dollars. Ok. I accept some damages that were done by my pet and other things. On my dispute letter I clearly explained the charges I was responsible for and the charges i felt like they were over charging me for or should have been wear and tear. I send the letter within 7 days as its required to be sent. I was waiting patienly for the response (they say they will respond with in 45days) . Today I get a call from a collecting agency that my debt(?) was now with them. Why on earth do you have your tenants write this so called dispute letter if you are not going to respond? I called DTN left voice messages to this very rude person named Debbie. She calls back and practically laughs to me and tells me " oh you better pay them fast because they will report you to the credit companies" I asked her why the balance was sent to collection agencies when nothing was agreed or discussed upon... and she says " Oh I reject your letter " I asked her why then she did not write back and she says " I left you a voice message " is this even legal? Just the way she was treating me was just horrible to say the least. I feel so stupid for thinking I was going to amicably talk to someone and find a resolution. Would not recommend this company (the apartments) to anyone.
Kyle King (Kyle King): If you’re thinking about staying here…DON’TThese people are despicable There is too much riskConcerns actually don’t get answered when you read these comments. The 1 star reviews are the “actual truth.”When you move out you will get a trash/utility bill hidden on your account & won’t notice til your credit report is affected by it and now you have a collection. There are hundreds of reviews that badmouth this place, so read in between the lines and STAY AWAY!They have been trained on the saying “there is nothing we can do.”I have had friends that will never live here againI have heard stories of people getting done wrong in this placeI have heard of the unknown charges & experienced themIf you live here, you are asking to be taken advantage of…The office you call is a salary paid worker (manager)The next level of management is still middle managementYou will never get on the phone with an actual executive that will resolve your problemMost people will pay the unknown charges; you have more power!Don’t mind the comment under here that says they regret; it just neutralizes the situation. If you are looking at your options; DTN is not the answer!(If someone sees this, I suggest you contact me)
F B: Excellent customer service over the phone!
Jon Lopez: Worst staff. They laugh in your face and on the phone. They don't acknowledge their mistake, or try to make things right. They will take your money and leave you to deal with things yourself.
t s: Stay away! This company does not care about the safety of their tenants, they do not provide adequate security cameras we have had 1 vehicle broken into and lost thousands of dollars in tools. We asked management to see cameras they informed us they are old and don’t work very well. Then two months later we had our vehicle stolen from the same parking lot where they still haven’t updated their security systems basically told us the same thing. The expense of cameras vs the amount they are charging for rent really makes sense as to why they haven’t updated them COMPLETE JOKE!
Alexis S: I am so incredibly glad to be graduating so I do NOT have to deal with DTN another year. Last year living at Glennwood was an absolute mess and the manager there was unaccommodating and pretty much will lie to you, as well as the staff there doesn’t know much so don’t ever really believe them no matter how many times you call. There was also mold which the manager seemed unconcerned about and they painted over and basically said good luck as they wouldn’t provide a mold testing kit- we would’ve had to pay out of pocket for one. This year at Campus View (which we would not have signed with another DTN community as our experience at Glennwood happened after we had signed) has already been extremely frustrating, it feels like they make up fees as they please without warning or help & charge an extra $5 for cable than what is advertised on the providers site. The Oaks is the “home” office and they are so disorganized it’s insane. You will be charged for renters insurance even though you have it (yes, you’ll have to pay it and then they’ll credit you- which you shouldn’t even have to pay it.) and when you go in the office you’ll hear the female manager complaining about tenants and talking pretty rudely about people needing maintenance or help within the community.TLDR: DTN bites off way more than they can chew
Michael Davenport: Kennedy Townsend made my management request an easy and convenient process!
Jessica Denman (Jess): Enjoy contracting with them on apartment turnover cleans. Polite and professional

MTH Management: what do users think?
Taylor Windom: Management is terrible. I had mold in my apartment and they still moved me in there knowing that I needed a place to stay desperately at that time (apartment 4) Shiawassee residence. After months of complaining and telling me all I needed was to keep my windows open and a then put a dehumidifier in there thinking it would solve the problem. They never changed out the windows, so moisture was building up from the inside. I was missing a bar for my bathroom to put my towel on, and my toilet roll thing was missing. They sent maintenance in there to install a bar and it wasn’t solid. I put my towels on there and it broke within the same week. After finally moving me to a different unit they told me they would put new windows in there, they never did. They left all of their equipment in there and never put up the blinds. So I had to do it for privacy. Later on in my lease they moved someone I know into apartment 4 with the mold and told her they cleared it out but she still has it.
Darrell Green: This company was trying to illegally evict me ,then 15 days later I get another 7 day notice.Renters beware I don't know how thier in business. If you have a legit complaint please file a complaint with the license and Regulatory Affairs. This Broker needs to be stopped.
Evan Fesenmeyer: We were contracted to remove items from an apartment complex that MTH Management owns in Des Moines, IA. They expressed that they use a net 30 pay system. It's been over 2 months and they still haven't issued payment and use the excuse "our treasury department is working on it". I should have read all the terrible reviews before agreeing to doing business with them. Terrible company.EDIT: Talked to the property manager this morning. She states the owner's daughter is supposed to call me. Invoices were sent on JANUARY 13th and JANUARY 20th as verified by email SEVERAL times. Accounts payable emailed me on January 17th saying I would receive payment via ACH and be notified through email.May 22nd, 2023: After receiving payment several months late on the last invoices, here we are again. The accounts payable department says they are waiting on the Treasury Dept., blah blah. They are back to being two months late AGAIN on paying an invoice from 3/22. Obviously we will not be doing any work for this terrible organization again, and I advise all contractors to steer clear!!!
Hillary Butterfield: DO NOT MOVE INTO HEATHER RIDGE APARTMENTS IN AUGUSTA, MI! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU MOVE OUT!TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!!THEY TOOK OUT MAY RENT AFTER WE LEGALLY MOVED OUT IN APRIL AND TOLD US IT WAS OUR FAULT FOR NOT TAKING BANK ACCOUNT INFO OFF OF THE PORTAL THAT WE WERE TOLD NEEDED TO STAY ON THERE SO THEY COULD GIVE US THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK.WE WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION!
Ryan Dinehart: Management is terrible, Kayla, Rachelle and the rest of the staff do not care about tenants. Nothing will get done for any issues you have.
John Wiebenga: We are a vendor for some of their properties, please be aware they do not answer the phone or return calls or respond to email. There are numerous other issues with this company that will be addressed by our attorney, that I can not go into here.
Emily Gamble: 1) The worst. Never responds to ANY maintenance requests. 3 out of 4 of my windows are sealed shut because the mechanism is broken and has been for 2 years I have rented. Elevator goes down every month. Ceiling lights in the stair walls are broken, have fallen onto the stairs and have laid there for months.2) If you're thinking about renting at PLEASANT VIEW: DON'T! your car will get ticketed and towed from the apartments parking lot since it is shared by two businesses as MTH only owns 4 parking spots for the entire complex.
Winter Carlton: Giving two stars because the area itself is quiet and the apartment is nice. But I put in maintenance requests in March and still have not been completed. Talked to the leasing agent and she said she would contact “maintenance management” but nothing was ever done. She then stopped responding to me all together.
Aline Goncalves: I’m still waiting to receive the refund of my security deposit from an apartment in Michigan that I moved out in December. This is ilegal! I should have received this money within 30 days.I spoke to multiple people and nothing has been done. They always say that it was sent or the forward address was wrong and none of this is true.
Destinee Montgomery: Management is VERY rude and EXTREMELY unprofessional. They do not care about their tenants at all. Terrible communication. If I could give 0 stars I would.UPDATE: Still extremely unprofessional and have no business dealing with renters/customer service. They blame shift as if everything happening is your fault, even when you follow the correct steps to get something resolved. Was told tenants have no direct contact with maintenance & if it’s an emergency to call and follow the prompts. I did that. All maintenance options sent me to a voicemail that was full so I couldn’t even leave a message..I only tried calling because we had no hot water for over 24 hours with no notice.. but somehow that’s my fault.Save your money and your headache.
Hailey Kissella: MTH Management recently took over for my building and let me tell you: I have never experienced such unprofessional, unorganized chaos from a business. They send mass text messages exactly 24 hours before they plan to do maintenence like changing your locks while you're scheduled to be at work. Better yet, they will say to respond to those text messages if there is a time issue and then not reply for hours. Don't bother to call them, the receptionists will tell you something completely different from what's actually happening.MTH has an online portal to pay rent on and such. (It doesn't work to pay rent). When I made my account I was suprised to see I owed rent I already paid! The neighbors I spoke to had this happen as well, it still isn't fixed and it's been two months. The cherry on top was the eviction notice they mailed me and proceeded to tell me to ignore claiming it was automatically sent by their office for this issue they are well aware of. (Back to say I was sent a second eviction notice before they resolved this issue)I also had them come "repair" my leaking sink... all they did was hastily put a linoleum liner under it and told me it wasn't leaking.I am very disappointed my landlord chose to use them, it's as if he didn't even look at their reviews.
C: DO NOT RENT FROM MTHThis company took over my building in 2022 and just about every aspect of living there now is a nightmare. Unresponsive and unprofessional property manager that does not take care of tenants, regardless of what she says, and always comes back with excuses. Maintenance requests are fulfilled in an untimely manner, IF AT ALL. It took two months of consistent email and texting to even get anyone to look at my broken oven. When they finally got me a “new” one, the maintenance person they sent had never installed an oven before (their admission) and exposed me to a gas leak for several days. I have also gotten inappropriate comments from a maintenance person while they were in my apartment.
Ryan Fox: The apartment itself is fine, and we have not had any issues. However the Management leaves alot to be desired. They never answer the phone; you're on hold until the system hangs up after 30 minutes. Also, the maintenance man that lives here is a joke, he has installed his own reserved parking sign that was obviously purchased on Amazon as it doesn't list a tow company name, nor the name of the Apartment Complex. He has had at least one residents car towed, all because he can't be bothered to walk a few extra steps. Also, this complex has a no pets policy, however the maintenance man has a cat.TLDR; Don't call the office if you expect to talk to anyone, and their hiring choices could be better.
Meow Mix: Have not received security deposit back. Was tenant for several years. Gave thirty days notice, dropped keys as requested . Said could not attend checkout (their policy). Sent correspondence. No response.Update: 58 days after move out received bill for Feb rent (moved 1/31)minus security deposit showing still owing rent! Filing in small claims court.
Madison Siecinski: Not good. The lady Alisha is nice but they pushed our move in date back because the apartment wasn’t ready and then the day we’re supposed to move in it still wasn’t ready. We were told the kitchen and bathrooms would be remodeled shortly after we moved in and six months later they’re not done. We finally said don’t do the cabinets and give us money off our rent and money back, which they agreed to. They have not gave us money back or updated our rent despite saying they would, you have to stalk them to get a response. I’m 7 months pregnant and I’ve been asking for months to get the garage door opener we should have had from the beginning and I haven’t received it, so I have to get in and out of the car to manually open and close the doors every time. Honestly really frustrated.
Tristen j: Worst company I've ever dealt with. They will force people out of their apartments and then hold their security deposit. If you're thinking about living in one of their properties, DON'T.
Wilda Concepcion: Terrible. They don't clean around during snow and ice. Never do. Terrible place to live.Smells horrible. Bad management
Mary Ann Crandall: Poor response to tenants problems with their apartments.
Ashley Stanford: The most unorganized, ghetto, unprofessional, dismissive, and deceptive apartment complex you can rent from. They are the reason this complex has gone to the ground. They took over a year ago and it truly shows. DO NO RENT FROM HERE!! They keep increasing the rent, and are literally slum lords
The Jones Group Company: I should have looked over the lack of payment reviews before completing work with them…It’s been months and only received half…Take the loss and move on.
Sean: Been waiting 3 months for a stove and window repair. This company is a sick joke.

Cabrio Properties E Lansing: what do users think?
Anonymous: Please read all the negative reviews before you sign a lease there. They’re all true and on top of that, the staff members at their leasing office are rude and r*cist
Okechukwu Mikel: One of the most crooked and cheap renters I have ever met. Maintenance requests never get answer or they go mysteriously missing, and if your ever even a day late on your rent best believe your getting charged. Again, and again, and again. The property managers do not care about their tenants either, especially the one by the name of Jeremy Matthews.
Brook'l Miller: Friendly staff and great location :)
Misa: I’ve been with this leasing office for over 4 years and It’s definitely the best experience I’ve had. Maintenance has always fixes things in the apartment within the week. Ally and Jeremy are very understanding and accommodating if you communicate with them. I’m not the type to write reviews but I’ve had such a good experience with the leasing office and maintenance so I wanted to share my experience. If you’re looking for a place to stay I would recommend all of the Cabrio Properties!
Catalin Bugan: Company only answers calls or communicates when it’s time for rent. Having routine maintenance accomplished and questions answered took threatening to withhold rent. Borderline slum lords with poor communication skills, no customer respect and corporate values.Clearly their leadership ( at the owner and senior management levels) lack ethics, respect, interest in customer service and safety. My place has mold spore growth which they refused to acknowledge or test for after multiple bad leaks and mildew smell. The smell of mold and mildew in a bedroom was so over powering I hired my own company come and assess - since Cabrio didn’t care enough to do it. Cabrio still has not begun remediation.I hear critters crawling, squealing and chewing through the wall in my living room and against the wall where my bed sits in the bedroom. I’ve sent video of it, sent emails, even arranged for a free pest inspection and they’ve refused to even acknowledge.Windows have finally been properly closed after weeks of requesting maintenance assistance, while my heating bills where going through the roof. It turns out the frame and slides are rotted and damaged. They didn’t fix them just shut them and forbade me from opening them because they are damaged. I guess I don’t have the right to open my own windows when cooking or if I want fresh air....providing functioning windows is too much of an ‘investment’ for them.Even though the previous leasing company verbally offered parking and to fix multiple damaged items in the apartment they handed the lease over to Cabrio as primary management and they have done none of those things, choosing to honor only my financial obligation to them. I didn’t even get a functioning mail key for a month. Isn’t withholding mail/ bills/ personal correspondence illegal or something?Since I’ve moved in here, I’ve had one leak fixed and one water spot painted over. It took a month for them to move their equipment (ladders etc) out of the apartment after the one or two day job...

DPMG Prime: what do users think?
Sean mcgee: AWFUL renting houses not up to code and let my house get PINK TAGGED. They expect you to pay rent for a house that is not up to code and hasn't been for over half a yearThey made me sign a lease for a house that was not up to code and they don't have a license to rent. These people are not to be trusted128 Astor AveLansing Michigan 48910Managed by DPMG PRIME has been PINK TAGGED since September 9th 2022OVER 230 daysand RED TAGGED since January 11th over 106 DAYS!!!!It has been RED TAGGED well over 1/4 year PINK TAGGED well over HALF A YEAR!!!!!
Mary Toshach: Great apartments at reasonable prices
Tammie Baldwin: I would give zero stars if I could. God sees all. I rented from them. Used to be LHMThanks to this company I am very I'll fighting for my life. They keep changing their name thinking their business will prosper. There is a reason they are not enlisted with the BBB.
Sarah Sewell: The house itself was okay. Landlord(s) are impossible to get a hold of, the phone number listed just has an automated voice message and no way to talk to a human. Took forever to get my deposit back.
Leslie Pinder: I would never and I mean never rent a property from DPMG ever again. If you like to wait weeks for maintenance requests and just being totally ignored by your landlord, then this might be the place for you. I’m counting down the days until I move out of my this place. Even my neighbors have complained. Just don’t waste your money go somewhere else.
Barbara Younger: Update-After a bit of patience and persistence on my part Ashley provided me with the information and assistance I needed. She was very helpful once she was able to clear her schedule a bit of other pressing matters.I do hope this is the path to a mutually beneficial experience.I am hoping that I don't have similar experiences with this company - although I seem to be off to a bumpy start. They are "extremely" difficult to get in touch with. Anyone have any suggestions how to reach a live person and not have to leave a voice message, text, or email which go unanswered?
vicki morrow: RUN! RUN VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I don’t leave many reviews, but I feel like a really need to worn people away from a lot of wasted time using this fraudulent company. I am a landlord that used this company to manage my houses for the last 4 years. We switched May1, 2022 because of the extremely poor customer service and the upcharging on repairs. As of today, almost 3 months since the switch, I am owed almosy $6000 in tenant deposits, owner deposits, and prepaid rent paid by my tenants back in April/May. I have called, texted, emailed, filed with the BBB, filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office, and messaged the owner on Linked-In, to no avail. I was continually told “it can take up to 90 days to close out the accounts and disperse the monies!” That’s TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE business practice. Now we are almost at the 90 day mark and I’m STILL waiting on almost $6000. Makes me wonder if they are having cash flow problems? Or are they just inept at their jobs? Or are they being punitive because I switched to a different company? Or perhaps all three!!! My next call is to my attorney - I don’t like having to do it, but enough is enough! This will be just one of many reviews I leave for this company all over the internet. SERIOUSLY! Don’t use their services! You will 💯 regret it! And as a side note, BBB has given them an “F” rating because they never respond to complaints. And if you look up the history of the owner, you’ll find some shady deals that happened with this company in the past. I wish I had known all of this before we started 4 years ago.
Camri Grace: I found a beautiful apartment on their website and decided to apply before looking. Firstly the app fee is $55 dollars which is slightly outrageous but because they had quite a few different spaces I liked and seemed professional I went for it.After calling and receiving multiple voicemails, I sent a message on Facebook to view the place. They called me back a couple days later and we scheduled for the next day.Deandre met me there and was new and kind. He was very friendly and I enjoyed the apartment. we talked and he said he would send over a lease which he did.Once I received the lease though NO ONE answered any texts, calls or messages. I had questions that still remain unanswered, I would have loved to rent the apartment but the lack of communication was tremendously disappointing.
Jennifer King: They will not accept your calls about repairs. They will leave those calls unanswered for months if not a year. They will charge you against what the lease states without providing prior notice. They will double your rent without prior notice. This business uses very unethical practices. Forces people to do things out of their lease under duress. Whether it be pandemic or lack of a new place to live. They will exploit it and use it to double the rent. I am at the rental office right now and they are currently trying to wait out the clock without seeing both me and my husband. They do not want to answer why they are charging rent at an advanced rate against with the lease States. Do not run from these people they're absolute slumlords. This is my opinion after dealing with them.
Brooke Kahn: I had filled out the application and paid the application fee to schedule a showing. Day of the showing the realtor never responded to my multiple messages. I have called, emailed, left voicemails, and messages and haven’t heard anything in over a week. I’m not sure what’s going on but it feels like they’re just collecting your personal information and application fees and then ghosting you.
Ariel Gilliam: THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR EVEN GET BACK WITH YOU I’VE BEEN SENDING EMAILS, TEXTS, VOICEMAILS, Everything possible for weeks, I was interested in some of there properties and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone
Nayeli Carvajal Acosta: Never answer the phone or return my calls. I drove to the address showing on google maps and there was an empty building. Not sure if this a real agency
Madilynn Dix: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueTerrible management, high prices and awful moving in process. Just a company looking to scam the little guy
Alex Lockwood: Ever been completely ignored by your "property management" company? Well, you will be. There are multiple people within, and they don't care about you. Ever tried to offer to install something to your rental property that would help you and them, and they don't respond for two years? No? Well, you will with DPMG. Don't worry, expect they'll find a reason to take your deposit too, based on the complete lack of anything else they do. Cheers to the weird moneybags owner (land overlord?), your employees are bad and you are worse.
Corey: The best properly management company I have patronized. They are understanding and generously fair. I appreciate them very much.
Brian Ruskauff: Edit: they did finally reach out to me after reading this review. I bumped it up a few stars because I can't speak for the quality of their properties as a tenant.I've been trying to contact them about renting various properties for weeks. I've sent messages on all the apps/websites, text messages, voice-mail, emails, website submissions and no reply, just crickets. I'm trying to give them my business and money but they just won't respond. I've left messages directly for Rachyl and Steve on their dedicated numbers and heard nothing back, don't trust the reviews mentioning either person's as they have proven unreliable. This is a bad sign for anyone who rents, what happens when you need a repair or something happens to the property? I'd LOVE to rent some of their stuff but I have not received a single reply from anyone in the group.I don't trust these 5 star reviews, I suspect they are friends of employees posting false reviews to bolster the company image.
Scott Harrelson: Never called back
