Alex Skiba: I had been wanting to sell my home, so I reached out to Maggie Gerich. Her and I spoke on the phone and exchanged many emails in regard to the process. She was awesome and very helpful. However, when it came time to have her come to my home to look around and determine a starting price, Maggie wasn’t the one who showed up. Robyn Flanders was the one that arrived, and she was much less than impressive. She arrived late, and acted annoyed to even be at my home. She belittled my home multiple times (most likely to get me to agree to a lower price so it would sell quicker), and wasn’t helpful when I asked her what I could do to help add some value. After she left, I never heard from her or Maggie again. Nothing. No phone calls, and no emails. Needless to say, I had another agent come out, and he valued my home higher than I even had. So we listed it, and had a full price offer in 4 days. Very unprofessional.

Dawn Moore-Carter: I contacted this agency through an ad on zillow...the agent that contacted me was not the one I had contacted via email through the site but she worked for that agent. She was young, sweet and seemed knowledgeable. She told me how beautiful my house was and that it would go quickly...45 to 60 days were her exact words. She quoted that the comp price for my house was $120,000.00, I knew there were some repair issues...mostly to one of my out buildings so I asked to list the house at $110,000.00 as is (this was April 10th, 2017). She told me of a few issues i needed to work on...moter on some brick was more than a quarts with, basement walls has florences and needed to be scraped and painted, pealing paint on the house needed to be taken care of that these needed to be fixed, that FHA would point those issues out. So I borrowed $3000.00 from my family and did those repairs.Later once the house was listed I noticed it did not read "AS IS", when i questioned this she told me that "we don't want to put that on there, we want someone to walk in and fall in love with the house"; now I'm not the professional here so I went with what she said but was starting to wonder why I had not been told this first. Then 2 weeks after listing I was contacted by this agent and told that showings & interest was slowing up so we needed to reduce the price! I was shocked...there had not been an open house yet and she wanted a price drop...that did not seem right too me, but then again I was not the professional, I had never sold a home before so I was totally dependent on her expertise. 10 days later she had the 1st open house...I sat across the street and noticed that perspective buyers were only staying an average of 6 to 15 minutes. I know when I looked at homes with this agent I took an average of 30 minutes to an hour or if I went to an open house on my own...the agent doing the openhouse was attentive and interested in selling the property.In May, I had to insist on a second open house; May 30th, 2017...the agent was late, she brought "pop cycles" for perspective buyers to eat throughout my immaculate house...odd...and again people only stayed on average 6 to 15 mintes.As more and more time went by and this agent did not return my calls, or answer my text messages when I wanted to sit down and figure out a plan to get the house sold...I totally lost faith...the asking price went from 110k to 102k and there was no effort put in by this agent...at 105 days on market I ended my contact...hired a different agent & agency...on that next Monday I meet with this new agent...listened to her advice and together we created a plan...she planned on holding an open house every weekend until we received an acceptable offer, I agreed to lower the price to $99,900.00 to hit those buyers looking under $100k, she held an open house that Sunday (where she supplied: cookies, tea & water for perspective buyers). I again sat across the street and watched buyers spend 45 minutes to an hour and one of those perspective buyers put an offer in the next day for $105,500.00...the new agent wrote our counter as FHA and the buyers would pay all repairs...they accepted...but after the FHA inspection there were little repairs the perspective buyer did not agree on so he went with a coventional loan instead...we closed on September 29th, 2017I later found out that the 1st agent NEVER sent the documents to my sisters who were co-owners, giving permission to list the house, it was listed for CASH or CONVENTIONAL...FHA or FHA203k was never added...makes me wonder why she is an agent and why not one other person from Re/Max didn't contact me to find out why she/they lost the lising.I gave 1 star only because this rating wouldn't take ZERO STARS.This agency needs to make sure their agents representing them are committed and knowledgeable...are assesable to their clients and willing to put the effort in...where was the mentoring. The emotional stress I was put through for 105 days should never had happened.

Alison Barc: This review is for their title company, not our realtor. The title company failed to retain the proper power of attorney and all forms that needed to be signed when my husband sold his house that he owned with his mom and now our bank won't cash the check. They won't issue a new check saying his name OR his mom, they won't cut the check just in his name so we have nearly 18k in limbo held at the title company for the last TWO months! Everyone from this deal had been paid but us! Go literally anywhere else.

He did not listen to me throughout the entire transaction, and seemed only to be interested in making the sellers happy. He did not know the protocol for a contract, including the addendum process and the value of negotiation for me, his client. The owner did not respond to my phone calls until the day of closing, after they secured their commission. Utterly disappointing and unprofessional!

Ryan Doom: We recently had two transactions with Tomie Raines BHHS. I was selling a house in East Lansing which went extremely well. It was on the market for awhile but we were not in a hurry to sell and ultimately got more than we expected to sell it for when we started this entire process. By using a Tomie Raines agent I probably ended up with 10% more in my pocket at the end of the deal than I initially expected even after all the fees and costs. I used the same agent Lisa Fletcher to purchase my new home. We looked at a lot of homes and put in a handful of offers during the process. Took awhile but we found the right home for us at the right price and couldn't be happier with how it all went.

Diane Goforth: In 2018 we sold our home through Keller Williams, someone referred Kim Henderson and because of her lack of knowledge we had the worst time selling our home and the most stressful experience ever!! I really don't think she cared about anything other than the commission. We sold other property we owned by ourselves (by owner, no realtor involved) and those sales went smoother and without any surprises (that cost us thousands $) and we thought by using a realtor we would free up our time and avoid stress and problems but boy were we wrong!The commission realtors get paid there is no excuse for not knowing or revealing to homeowners all issues that could arrise from buying or selling property!! I WOULD NOT recommend Kim to anyone after going through what she put us through. I am giving this review now after having a couple of years to cool off and think about it as my husband and I were advised to take legal action but we just didn't want any more stress. We used a realtor from Real Estate One as a coordinator when we sold one of our other properties prior to selling our home with Kim and as I said earlier the process was smooth. There is much more to our complaint but to lengthy to go into.

Erik Barnhill: Stephanie Holly was great to work with as my Fiancé and I searched for our first home. Stephanie is very knowledgeable of the local market and surrounding areas. She accommodated to our needs very well, specifically, the ability to work with us solely on the weekend as my Fiancé and I currently live in different cities. Her responsiveness to our inquiries was exceptional. If I sent Stephanie an email or text I knew that I could expect a response from her almost immediately, even if she was busy and had to get back with me in an hour or so to answer my inquiry.With regards to negotiation skills, Stephanie is awesome! We found a foreclosed home built in 2006. One of the things that i did not expect to find in this newer home was any water in the basement, and well, upon inspection there was evidence of water. This home was perfect, and I thought that this was going to put an end to this house. However, Stephanie recognized how much we loved the home and was not going to let that stop us from getting a house we loved. Stephanie immediately started making calls to basement water companies and contractors to get them out to the house and figure out this water issue. Once discovered, Stephanie negotiated a full repair of the home covered by the bank. We didn't have to pay a dime for the nearly $5,000 fix. It gets better, right out of the gate Stephanie was able to negotiate a lower selling price. The bank also offered up to 3% assistance for closing costs and Stephanie was able to make sure we got all of that 3% which resulted in us paying nothing for closing except the down payment! If this isn't great negotiation, I don't know what is!All of the above is wonderful, but the best part about Stephanie was her personality! She took the time to sit down and get to know my Fiancé and I and really worked to understand what we wanted in our first home. After seeing only 12 or so homes I am proud to say we found our PERFECT starter home and couldn't be happier. Stephanie worked timelessly to find us this home and I know that she will do the same for her current and future clients.I will absolutely be calling Stephanie for any of my future reality needs and I will be referring her to everyone I know that has a need for a realtor.
