Rachael S: Regarding the online class: You should AVOID taking it at all costs. I am trying to finish my class. Had to pay for a $50 extension on the course because there are NON-STOP issues with their site. Also, the content of the class itself is very outdated. Emailing support is usually not helpful in resolving these issues. They just say that the issue is on the user end and go back to drinking their coffee. (and the issues are usually due to their website being down for maintenance and security/accessibility issues which, even if you turn off ALL of your privacy settings on Internet Explorer or Mozilla, still DOES NOT WORK.)

Jennifer Fisher: taught me everything I needed to pass my sales person test. I enjoyed taking the class with Michael and will takall my Continuing Education classes with him as well. He is fun, captivating, and made the 40 hours of class fly by. Very highly recommend!

Mike Lauer: Great. I have used them for 15 years. Prepped for both salesperson and broker. They cover whats on the test. Also con-ed every year. Easy to use.

CLARION INN KALAMAZOO: lisa the organizer the cheap she has no respect for her own training class attendees do not know how to do her own job The trainer has attitudes above all not informative at all I advice to stay away from this institute for two reasons one lisa and the trainer both are ridiculous they should be fired immediately if the owner has some sense

Clay Papoi: Absolute worst experience of my life. After being forced to mediation when sellers failed to disclose zoning and deed restrictions we were told attorneys and realtors would not be involved in the mediation process. Since these are the rules that are clearly stated we didn't bring our attorney or realtor hoping to solve this matter with the sellers without council in their ear. After several complaints to the mediator as opposing council ran the mediation we came to no resolution. Tried to place a complaint with the association and phone calls were not returned. They claim mediation will save you money, we paid another $80 to be intimidated and belittled by opposing council.

Alison Barc: This review is for their title company, not our realtor. The title company failed to retain the proper power of attorney and all forms that needed to be signed when my husband sold his house that he owned with his mom and now our bank won't cash the check. They won't issue a new check saying his name OR his mom, they won't cut the check just in his name so we have nearly 18k in limbo held at the title company for the last TWO months! Everyone from this deal had been paid but us! Go literally anywhere else.

Elizabeth Falk: I worked with John Esbach who was entirely unprofessional as a buyer’s agent. He did not listen to me throughout the entire transaction, and seemed only to be interested in making the sellers happy. He did not know the protocol for a contract, including the addendum process and the value of negotiation for me, his client. The owner did not respond to my phone calls until the day of closing, after they secured their commission. Utterly disappointing and unprofessional!

Ryan Doom: We recently had two transactions with Tomie Raines BHHS. I was selling a house in East Lansing which went extremely well. It was on the market for awhile but we were not in a hurry to sell and ultimately got more than we expected to sell it for when we started this entire process. By using a Tomie Raines agent I probably ended up with 10% more in my pocket at the end of the deal than I initially expected even after all the fees and costs. I used the same agent Lisa Fletcher to purchase my new home. We looked at a lot of homes and put in a handful of offers during the process. Took awhile but we found the right home for us at the right price and couldn't be happier with how it all went.

Blake Ordiway: Looked at a house listed by this agency. Specifically asked if it had lake frontage and was told it did. Showed up to view the house and was informed that it did not have lake frontage and was blantanly lies to about it. Will not do business with a company that lies to get you to view a house. I worked with Dom Lee and he clearly lied to me multiple times about this house.

Dori L Durbin: Do not use the home inspectors recommended by this company. They hired one (we paid for of course) and he missed so many things. He said the house was tip top and he could find nothing wrong. But yet we bought a money pit. Not happy and will not recommend this agency to anyone.

H L: Zillow directed my real-estate inquiry to Patty Toth at Re/Max, and I am incredibly glad it did. Patty helped me with a long-distance coop/condo search and purchase. She is incredibly knowledgeable about her market, but so are many agents. What sets Patty apart is that she is truly on your side. She sincerely cares about your interests as her client, helps you identify your needs, and is skillful at making sure these interests and needs are met. Throughout the entire process, Patty has consistently advocated for me--even when I didn’t know I needed advocating. She went above and beyond to make sure that the process was efficient, that all my concerns were addressed, and that I would be happy with the home I purchased. She has many more virtues--attention to detail, efficiency, very good judgement, incredible organization (at near superhuman levels); but I will let you discover the rest of this list for yourself. With Patty on your side, the home-buying process becomes the least stressful part of your day. I can’t recommend Patty or Re/Max highly enough.

Alex Skiba: I had been wanting to sell my home, so I reached out to Maggie Gerich. Her and I spoke on the phone and exchanged many emails in regard to the process. She was awesome and very helpful. However, when it came time to have her come to my home to look around and determine a starting price, Maggie wasn’t the one who showed up. Robyn Flanders was the one that arrived, and she was much less than impressive. She arrived late, and acted annoyed to even be at my home. She belittled my home multiple times (most likely to get me to agree to a lower price so it would sell quicker), and wasn’t helpful when I asked her what I could do to help add some value. After she left, I never heard from her or Maggie again. Nothing. No phone calls, and no emails. Needless to say, I had another agent come out, and he valued my home higher than I even had. So we listed it, and had a full price offer in 4 days. Very unprofessional.

Dawn Moore-Carter: I contacted this agency through an ad on zillow...the agent that contacted me was not the one I had contacted via email through the site but she worked for that agent. She was young, sweet and seemed knowledgeable. She told me how beautiful my house was and that it would go quickly...45 to 60 days were her exact words. She quoted that the comp price for my house was $120,000.00, I knew there were some repair issues...mostly to one of my out buildings so I asked to list the house at $110,000.00 as is (this was April 10th, 2017). She told me of a few issues i needed to work on...moter on some brick was more than a quarts with, basement walls has florences and needed to be scraped and painted, pealing paint on the house needed to be taken care of that these needed to be fixed, that FHA would point those issues out. So I borrowed $3000.00 from my family and did those repairs.Later once the house was listed I noticed it did not read "AS IS", when i questioned this she told me that "we don't want to put that on there, we want someone to walk in and fall in love with the house"; now I'm not the professional here so I went with what she said but was starting to wonder why I had not been told this first. Then 2 weeks after listing I was contacted by this agent and told that showings & interest was slowing up so we needed to reduce the price! I was shocked...there had not been an open house yet and she wanted a price drop...that did not seem right too me, but then again I was not the professional, I had never sold a home before so I was totally dependent on her expertise. 10 days later she had the 1st open house...I sat across the street and noticed that perspective buyers were only staying an average of 6 to 15 minutes. I know when I looked at homes with this agent I took an average of 30 minutes to an hour or if I went to an open house on my own...the agent doing the openhouse was attentive and interested in selling the property.In May, I had to insist on a second open house; May 30th, 2017...the agent was late, she brought "pop cycles" for perspective buyers to eat throughout my immaculate house...odd...and again people only stayed on average 6 to 15 mintes.As more and more time went by and this agent did not return my calls, or answer my text messages when I wanted to sit down and figure out a plan to get the house sold...I totally lost faith...the asking price went from 110k to 102k and there was no effort put in by this agent...at 105 days on market I ended my contact...hired a different agent & agency...on that next Monday I meet with this new agent...listened to her advice and together we created a plan...she planned on holding an open house every weekend until we received an acceptable offer, I agreed to lower the price to $99,900.00 to hit those buyers looking under $100k, she held an open house that Sunday (where she supplied: cookies, tea & water for perspective buyers). I again sat across the street and watched buyers spend 45 minutes to an hour and one of those perspective buyers put an offer in the next day for $105,500.00...the new agent wrote our counter as FHA and the buyers would pay all repairs...they accepted...but after the FHA inspection there were little repairs the perspective buyer did not agree on so he went with a coventional loan instead...we closed on September 29th, 2017I later found out that the 1st agent NEVER sent the documents to my sisters who were co-owners, giving permission to list the house, it was listed for CASH or CONVENTIONAL...FHA or FHA203k was never added...makes me wonder why she is an agent and why not one other person from Re/Max didn't contact me to find out why she/they lost the lising.I gave 1 star only because this rating wouldn't take ZERO STARS.This agency needs to make sure their agents representing them are committed and knowledgeable...are assesable to their clients and willing to put the effort in...where was the mentoring. The emotional stress I was put through for 105 days should never had happened.
