Lansing Brewing Company: what do users think?
Thomas Denton: They will over serve patrons and let them leave drunk, then the patron will almost side swipe you because they've turned the wrong way on the one way.
Bob Chiang: Great place for families. The food is great. The atmosphere was great. Would go back!
Jeffrey Pollock: Utilized Lansing Brewing for offsite catering and was very pleased with their communication, flexibility, punctuality, and quality of the food. Lilley and her team did splendid work and I would not hesitate to book them again. Highly recommended.
Mona K: Food was disgusting. There were pieces of what I HOPE was chicken in the shrimp appetizer and the utensils were dirty… I got sick after eating here so my spidey senses are telling me it was definitely this place that did it to me. Staff were nice though.
Lev Raphael: The last time I ate here was before the pandemic and I thought the poutine was as good as some I'd had in Canada. This time, not so much. It was too soupy and the meat wasn't soft enough. Tasty, sure, but underwhelming.
Michael Chosay: Love the space and the location
Mariah Sklapsky: Happy Mothers Day Brunch. This was my first time here with my family to celebrate Mothers Day. We wanted to try something new. The issue was our reservation was at 10:30am, we placed our order to eat at 10:50 and still did not get any food by 12pm, our waitress did not check on us. There were only 6 things on the brunch menu to choose from so why the wait. It was not busy.....but I will never go back and I will NEVER recommend.
marlanll: Went to the Mothers Day Special Menu today and was very disappointed. For the price the portions were minuscule and my Veggie Omelet hardly had any veggies in it. The Mexican Breakfast was only topped with one egg for $13. The Pancakes were good, but again for the price it only had two medium sized pancakes. Out of the 7 of us, four got their food and the others got their food after the rest of us were finished. Wasn’t that special at all! Could have eaten at Dennys for equivalent food and less expense, but was supposed to be for a Special Day!
Robert Epps: Not impressed I know it maybe a short staff issue but we were seated at a table and waited over 50 minutes, no waters, no drinks I can imagine I long it would of taken for food. We decided to leave and went to a local favorite bar close by had drinks in ten minutes and food with a 1/2 hr sorry to say was treated a lot better!
Jennifer Fritz: Food was fabulous! We had a group of 15 ppl and the service was fast friendly and on point! Prefect place to celebrate our MSU Grad! Thanks for helping making her day amazing!
Christy Putnam: The Brussel sprouts and califlower pizza was amazing!
Hannah C (Palindrome3D): Nice evening back at the L.B. Our waitress was wonderful, and patient with my adhd powered indecisiveness. The cheese dip appetizer was great, the Cajun shrimp mac was great. I had the Sage Advice drink and and found it light and refreshing, also had the apple cider desert pear margarita, it was good but the Sage Advice was best. Fries had a good cook but underseasoned (imo) with no salt in the table!
Trevor Benoit: This is not only a fantastic spot for beer and food, but it's also an ideal place for groups thanks to their large patio and spacious indoor seating. The patio is perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying a cold beer, while the indoor seating offers a comfortable and inviting space for larger groups. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of styles to choose from, and the food menu is equally diverse and delicious. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, making sure that everyone has a great time. It's clear that they care about their community, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and supporting local businesses. If you're looking for a place to gather with friends or family in Lansing, Lansing Brewing Company should be at the top of your list.
Patrick Conachan: Food was bland. Hot Michigan Chicken....not spicy at all. Hot Popper sandwich, no flavor or spice at all. Beer was OK. Not a place I "need" to return to.
Cathy Wilhm: Food was very good and so was our server. I really appreciate that tables weren't so close together as it is very noisy. Maybe all the metal. I recommend the blackened shrimp tacos! Yum!
Michele Witman: Great selection ...
Jorge Gomez: A little disappointed, we ordered their before handers “appetizers took forever and we got them about 1 minute before our meals. Everything was cold including the meals. Asked the waitress if they could warm things up she took them back came back came back with warm plate food still cold said they remade my son’s sandwich, not the case. Not a very good Birthday meal for our son don’t think we will be going back. First time have placed a review that disappointed!
Jeff Panaka: I love the nachos and the cream ale here. This is a great to be in the Summer. It’s a Lansing staple. 5/5.
Eric Devenbaugh: Very good burgers and great atmosphere. They are kid friendly with kids menu also if you wanted to know. Also a fair amount of high chairs also. Out door seating available when weather is better.
Claire Morrison: Excellent food. Poutine, jalapeno grilled cheese, chicken and waffles, kids chicken strips with fries, all fantastic. Beer was good to
Geoff Kane: Small tasty menu with delicious sounding options. Tacos and Mac/cheese were great!Plenty of local beer options.

Ellison Brewery and Spirits: what do users think?
Matt Haws: Service was pretty bad. Staff was inattentive. They were out of the few things we really wanted to try. It was relatively empty, and it made sense the longer we were there. Food was decent though, it just didn’t make up for the service.
Alex Meyer: Ordered nachos. Over a half hour later they came out soggy and lukewarm. The beer was ok. Not worth the price and terrible service. There are better bars and food all over.
Matthew Harrell: My favorite brewery in the Lansing area, and one of my favorites in all of Michigan.
Trevor Pfund: Love this little gem in East lansing! It's tucked away and hidden, don't let that you stop from coming! The beers are so good! I personally enjoy the Citra Evo IPA and their flagship ipa Crescent Fresh. They have amazing giant juicy burgers. I went with their western cowboy burger soooo good! Will be back!
Matt Gow: Great beer! 🍺
Matthew L.: Disappointed. From reading other reviews it seems like there oven "breaks down alot". Very limited beer menu and on our visit they pretty much only had appetizers available. Doubt I'll return. Server was awesome though. No Wow factor here.
Sara G: Disappointing. We were meeting family in Lansing and decided to meet at one of our favorite breweries. I checked their website to validate they had the stuff we liked on their menu (we were taking my mom). Validated hand-held sandwiches, validated the beers, jalapeno bread etc. We get there and they have a puny menu. No jalapeno bread, no hand held sandwiches, no IPA. I ask the waitress about the menu I saw online. "We don't have a website" was the response. I explained I was on there just this morning. I got some response about them not being in control of said website???? I don't know what's going on there - but TAKE DOWN YOUR WEBSITE if it isn't valid. Whatever. We decide to move on and place the order for a couple of pizzas only to be told 10 minutes later, their pizza oven just broke. Whatever. I don't hold a broken pizza oven against them, those things happen, but I just think the entire visit was a bad experience. Small beer selection, small food selection, website that is theirs but out of their control. Not the Ellison we know and love!
Danielle Dirocco: Fantastic seasonal selections and tons of personality to match. Check this place out!
J. Scott Moncrief: Good pizza, wings and beer. Buffalo sauce with a smoky hint was great.
Mark Logusz: Great beer, service and food! Awesome burgers and pizza.
David Niemeyer: Good food and beers. Had live music when I was there.
Jason Apol: Had a really good burger and a beer. Nice place. I like the not so fancy feel to it. Cool to see folks with their pooches. Dog friendly. 👍
Cole: Steer clear of this place. The owner has driven the brand into the ground with cutting corners. Very shady guy. Eating or drinking anything you are likely putting yourself at risk for some kind of food borne illness. 5/6 years ago it was great but the owner heard “expansion” and it’s been downhill since.
Tim Buh: Went to try them out after a friend mentioned we have a local distillery in town! I was really impressed with their work until the bartender mentioned it wasn't theirs. Apparently they buy the liquor in bulk and just put it in barrels??? I didn't even know that was legal, but either way it's a shady copout if you're calling yourself a distillery.
Bjoern Hamberger: Want to get in touch with a brewery? Sit a few metres from the tanks where your beer is made? Industrial style rustic place with nice staff AND a food truck (not every day). Big Yay! BTW, the craft beer is awasome and consistent. You will see me here as often as opportunity permits. Update. Big. Food truck is now permanent and has expanded their casual but good menu. Enclosed outdoor patio replaced tha igloo, big deal! Now more music and comedy events. Both questionable. Music is very loud indoors so it is hard to communicate. But the comedy appears to attract a crowd, so it's probably just me. Oh. The Bingo/quiz had the coolest intelligent questions that were at least somewhat Google-proof. High five for that! We are always back, but will start making a fuss about the indoors volume.
Lauren Sellers: Dreadful experience. So bad it was hilarious. Ordered a margarita pizza and pretzels with beer cheese via DoorDash. Order was almost an hour late in preparation (not delivery... preparation). Received my order via my delivery driver within 10 minutes of it being finished at the restaurant but it was stone cold. Not one leaf of basil on it despite it being a margarita pizza. Couldn't figure out why it was so spicy but after some investigation I discovered the sauce is full of raw (and crunchy) chunks of garlic. Pizza was literally smashed against the box as well and totally cold so it couldn't have been during delivery. Pretzels were ice cold, hard, and soggy. Beer cheese was so cold it was congealed. Laughable. It all went straight into the trash and was totally inedible. I called and the front desk said they were not able to process a refund.
Luke F: Key lime pie seltzer and new England IPA were great. Cool atmosphere.
Marc Linhardt: Dog 🐕 friendly inside and out. External, covered, and inside areas.Great beer 🍺 also.Comfort food, which was tasty.
Kelle Sajdak: You can take your dogs in!!!
Ashley Murray: Service was amazing. Food was delicious all around great time out
Nick Elslager: Beer was good but the service was average. I had to keep asking for things throughout my time there.

Ellison Brewery Co - REO Town Lansing: what do users think?
Victoria Bueno: Atmosphere is cute, food has a lot of potential to be good but ittook forever & it was not very hot. They did a poor job making it, our nachos were very sad. We waited for almost 15 mins before staff greeted us. I hope they can get staff has a whole together host, cook, management bc it has a lot of potential esp for Reo town.
Nick Little: Quiet for 9 pm on a Friday. Beers on tap could be better selection. Staff started cleaning up too early. Nice place but nowt special.
Christophe Delay: Awful service. Waited 30+ mins to even order appetizers. When we did, they said they ran out 20 mins later. We asked to order our mains and they said their refrigerator has broken so we couldn't order pizza. Never coming again.
R Thompson: Food was good and the server, she was great. The manager seemed a bit angry or annoyed. She won’t keep customers or staff acting like that.
Benjamin Hayden: Love Ellison. Great food, great drinks, and the past few times we’ve been here great service, so much so we were considering Ellison for our wedding venue. We waited 20 minutes, I had to hunt down a waiter to get menus. Waited another 20 min and no one even greeted us. I brought my brother here to celebrate his birthday. I get it’s hard for the servers to catch everyone that walks in when it’s a seat yourself establishment and there’s a 20 top being served but had someone just simply greeted us and told us that I could have taken my brother somewhere else earlier.Maybe have a host to seat people?
Colt Baker (BeardedBakes): Can’t seem to find a food menu for REO town location
Jeff Wolak: Food was OK, beer was OK, service left a lot to be desired.
Fred Hingst: Lovely atmosphere, excellent food and top notch beverages.
jeff daniels: Great staff, location, atmosphere, and pizza......NO bourbon available or Crescent Fresh on tap?????
Geoff Petey: I order food and often order takeout. This process has been problematic for the staff for 3 of 3 visits. It’s the receipt printer, or they didn’t read the ticket correctly, or the whatever… It’s super frustrating and time consuming to order from these guys. If they were on Toast or Uber eats, would be a weekly thing as the food is bomb. The communication line between customer and kitchen hasn’t successfully worked for me yet. Hope one day it does because that prosciutto pizza, when they don’t burn the prosciutto, is worth negotiating with their staff to acquire.
Graham Low: Great service, great food and the drinks are on point. The addition of changing tables in both bathrooms would make this a five star experience. $276 from webstaurant to make a lot of parents lives easier.
Peter Lowe: Beer is good. Space is really cool. Good service. Cocktail was not great. Some of the worst spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. Big fan of Ellison, looking forward to them having a full kitchen, but we left after the app to get dinner somewhere else.
michael premer: Great facility for family wedding! Great staff and food! Hope to return soon.
Ray Darnell: Amazing atmosphere and very good food.
Steve Richards: We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to a light crowd. The space was nice with lots of natural light. That's where the enjoyment ended. The tables that were not occupied were full of glasses and dirty dishes. We found a table and sat down. After 25 minutes of waiting, we were never acknowledged. Even though the waitress had served a table four feet away. A different waitress cleared two tables around us and still not a hello. After it was obvious that we were not going to be served, we left. Even though both waitresses watched us get up and put or coats on, still no acknowledgment. This is the last place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Lansing area. The Rusty Mug is just a block away, and they welcome customers with a smile.
Beatrice Browne: Amazing friendly service, great food, a wonderful addition to Reo Town…. Thank You!!!! Wish you all the best!!!!
Matthew Harrell: I like the new location, and Ellison has always been one of my favorite breweries.
Lyndsey Reich: So this place JUST opened up, and I’m going to write this review knowing that it’s super early. This location has a limited menu, and we might have been upset about it but 1. The wings were fire and 2. Mary is such an excellent server that she totally made our night. If our server was not quite so gracious, we might have been unhappy with our experience. But she was so sweet, and we had a great time. Would recommend.
Jeanette Robinson: Great night out at Ellison! Food, service and drinks were fantastic. Pleasantly surprised with the variety of the cocktails and delicious seltzers. The atmosphere is super and I can't wait to go back with friends and family.
William Hamilton: Attractive place - fresh, bright, open, good food, beer, drinks, very nice wait staff.
Erik Vestal: Great food and great atmosphere, Arron and Haley made our visit a great one

Jolly Pumpkin Café & Brewery: what do users think?
Eurithra P. Daley: Good kitchen & beer offerings, nice space.Servers always friendly & some are very entertaining.Happy hour (3-6, weekdays) is a genuine bargain.Grade - A🏆
Avery C.: Always a staple when I’m in East Lansing. Love Jolly Pumpkin.
Alyssa Miller: Cheese bread was a great appetizer! Then, the lamb burger with the egg was a great topper for lunch.
shivam bajaj: I have always loved their pizzas, ambience, and service. This time we ordered their red chicken nachos which were okay. We thought it had a lot of beans and there was rarely any chicken. However, overall the flavors were nice. Especially with the pickled onions.
Sabrina Vieyra: Always a great dine in experience. Great service and food was awesome. We had the Mediterranean bowl, carnivore pizza, fried spicy chicken and lamb burger. YUM! We had an order for share of fried cauliflower and that was just delicious too!!!
Anastasia Dyer: Talia took great care of us! Amazing food as well.
Hannah C (Palindrome3D): I like the 2 person table with a small booth for both of us and coat/purse hooks next to the chair.. It's the little things. I tried the Lavender Bees Knees drink. Gin, lavender honey syrup, lemon juice & soda. Very good, could have been colder. I don't usually like gin or lavender but this slapped. The jolly palmer was also good, bourban, ginger peach tea, simple syrup & lemonade. North peak siren amber ale was delicious. Fun story, they use it nonthreatening pizza crust. Pizza was delicious, we tried the carnivore pizza. Something the menu doesn't advertise is the pizza is cooked on a granite slab. That is a selling point and should be made apparent in the menu. I don't usually try pizza in bars because it might be oven baked. I'm glad we tried this, so so good. Also, Beignets! Order the Beignets! It's cinnamon sugar honey wine sauce. Our server Jake was great!
Steve Gray: Food was ok ... For the price I expected better... Burgers should just come with fries....but it's an upcharge.... Then you get enough for 4 people (so if multiple people are getting burgers and fries only have 1 person pay the upcharge). Truffle fries were ok....I've had much better. Food was warm-ish but not hot.... Server was nice and attentive.Final slap was adding 3 % service fee to the bill for credit card usage. I own a business so totally understand the credit card fees...but I haven't seen this at restaurants...just small time mom and pop shops which I understand more coming out of the pandemic.... This left a really sour taste as typically fees are under 3% too...so this is just added revenue for the restaurant. Those fees have been there forever. So between increased costs at restaurants in general post pandemic, and the luke warm food then the 3% fees...it won't be a place I visit again unfortunately
Angela D: Staff is friendly, menu selection is good. My teenage son ordered the Mac and cheese (without bacon) and found it to be incredible bland. Couldn't even finish - which is rare for him and pasta. Lots of vegetarian options, although an impossible or beyond burger would be a great add.
Sukayna Almusawi: Great service, very fast. They were able to accommodate us immediately. The food was also very good, very flavorful.
Yukialove Winston: I checked the reviews about the brussels sprouts before ordering and to my surprise they came burnt and heavily greased. There was a pool of grease in the bottom of the box. Disappointing.
Walt: Some of the best food I've had in East Lansing. Great service, just good all around atmosphere. We look forward to enjoying the Jolly Pumpkin again soon.
Jake Dudek: Great food and beer
Todd Norris: Beer is nicely done, both the sours of Jolly Pumpkin and the non-sour options of North Peak. The food is also very well done and very flavorful.
Tex: Great service, decent food. Love the beer list.
Linh N.W.: My husband ordered the MARGHERITA pizza and this was what he got. He didn't check the pizza until he got to the car, but he shouldn't have had to. Who would have thought that this pizza costs $15? This is unacceptable. He was so excited to get the pizza and this was just upsetting.
Johnathan Foote: Bougie food and drinks all around but at affordable prices. Super busy during State sporting events but worth the wait.
mike check: Pizza and Chicken Nachos were Great Service is Spectacular Awesome night out
Jay Kirby: They never have Deliveries ready on time. Rude floor manager, needs to learn how to talk to people.
Amber Kurrle: I would absolutely recommend going here, I would also recommend getting the ultimate cheesy BLT! Flash fried cauliflower is a classic for my boyfriend and I, this place has become a classic birthday dinner!
Rebecca Taylor: Delicious, affordable, food made with quality ingredients that was thoughtfully prepared! With a selective eater at home it's sometimes a challenge to find a place to accommodate both our tastes. The menu offers a variety of dishes from pastas, sandwiches, burgers, and even a roasted brussel sprout dish! The kids menu is perfect and did not lack quality or thoughtful ingredients. We will definitely order from Jolly Pumpkin Cafe again and I plan to stop in for a beer soon too!

EagleMonk Pub and Brewery: what do users think?
Brittany Walker: This little hole in the wall is a hidden gem! Very nice staff, huge back patio/yard area with jenga and cornhole, delicious housemade beers and sodas and very reasonably priced!
Logan Hobbs: Don’t drive too fast, or you might miss it! They’re always brewing up some of the most unique beers, ciders, and meads in the area. When the weather is nice, the outdoor patio is a great place to relax, with plenty of space for you dogs as well. Super helpful workers, and prices are great for the quality.
Ethan F: Awesome beer and mead. Food is great. Try the beer cheese!
Norm Rothwell (Haen): Absolutely loved this place. The people were incredibly friendly and the beer was top notch.
Mark Bratschi: Absolutely excellent local Brewery. Food and beer are all wonderful! Love the Beer here! Awesome staff! Feels like Home? Love this place!
Gregory Newman: Great pizza and great beer!
Kevin Ellis: Very comfortable atmosphere. Relax enjoy and drink a hand - crafted beer. Pizza is almost a given.
Meg Lakomy: The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. The staff is wonderful. The beers are quite tasty on all ends of the beer spectrum. My favorite is always the Megan's Mango Wit or Blueberry Wit on the fruit end. The recent Vienna Lager is really good as well. Highly recommend this little pub!
Brad H: Service and atmosphere 10/10, pizza 7/10, beer 4/10.
Randy Simmons: First off, their pizza is NOT "really good" like many here are saying. It's below average at best. Apparently people haven't really had good pizza ever?? It's burnt on the bottom and the dough has a slight chlorine taste. The $10 salad is a ripoff. The beers are "fine" but definitely nothing great. I don't get all the admiration for this place at all. It's a "skip it" place for me...
Luke Thomas: Normally very good brews but recently picked up four pints togo and a couple 12 oz cans of various beers. I will have to stick to what they have on tap because all seemed to lack alcohol content and the cans having very dirty tops, so not what you’d expect for 36$ worth of beer. Only one of the six tasted as good as I remember from summer. Id just stay with drinking and dining in because usually they are pretty good but these were downright flops.
Kasey Robbins: Great staff very friendly people, always a good beer on tap.
Betty Moss: I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Eagle Monk. The fruit and nut salad was great and my fav was the artichoke dip with corn chips!
Doug Burruss: Great beer, great food. The mug club is cool, having your own mug to drink your beer the added benefits are cool. I will be back.
Patrick Daniels: Hole-in-the-wall brewpub off Mt Hope with great pizza and paninis, great service, and amazing beer. The beer garden is a great spot to sit and enjoy a brew. The boys are gaga for their cheese pizza. We love the Neighborhood Special. We always get the veggie plate with their ranch and hummus. My wife is a big fan of the Red Eye Rye and the Belgian Wit. I love their cascadian black IPA, The Raven, and the Delta Porter.Great stop.
Jim Coggin: Great beer selection. Quality beverages all the way around and a tasty pizza
Hannah C: Best place ever. Beautiful beer garden, great staff, delicious food. Basically everything you could ask for in a local pub. Did I mention that your canine companions can ALSO join you for a cold beer, and hot pizza outside?! 10/10 does recommend, pizza and beer not advised for the doggo.
John Comfort: In town for work. Wanted to try some local food and beer. Me and my co-workers tried different beers and pizzas, they were all great. The staff was was friendly and helpful with beer choices. Will definitely go back again.
Ben Black: First time to the restaurant today. Pretty tasty beers and pizza. Kind seems like a "hole in the wall" microbrewery but would highly recommend stopping by!
Emi Grace: Fantastic local brewery. Always a good selection of beers, cider, even mead. We absolutely love the beer garden in back and it’s great that we can bring along our doggo and toddler. It’s such a beautiful garden area with great shade, seating, and even games! Please come support this wonderful local spot
Mary A. Shaffer: THEE best - EVERY-THING HERE!👍👍👍👍👍🍻😁
