Sylvia Lin: Came here twice with lunch and dinner. Lunch has a good deal and reasonable for dinning for one. With the dinner, we ordered 2 hot pots, with Japanese Miso with squid ($13.95 + $3.95) and Lamb Special with taro ($13.95+ $2.50), but the soup flavor is so similar that make it pretty boring to have to finish both. Also order fried tofu, which is the worse tofu dish I ever had; it's very tough and flavorless even when dig in the sauce. The Pork Belly Buns ($6.95) is good but portion very small (one bit size); cannot tell from the picture. Taiwanese Sausage on Rice ($14.95) was the best dish we had and both adults and kids can agree on that.

Jakup Abedin: This place sucks. Inside looks old, service wasn't great and food was mediocre. I went to the bathroom, and the lock is all messed up. I eat Chinese food frequently, and I just wasn't a fan of this place. I had Mongolian beef, and the beef could have been more tender and flavorful - they definitely used old sauce. I myself have made this dish better. Do I expect restaurants to go out the way and grill my meat, add chinese wine, and red chili peppers like in North China? No, but make it make sense. Get better, please.P.S. I added my dish a few years back. My wife's family absolutely tore it up.

We ordered the crispy chili chicken to share between my husband and me, and the portion was probably for a party of at least four people. The prices are high because the portions are large. great for a group of people, or great for people who love to have leftovers- update: we made our leftovers onto meals that lasted 3 days. It was very spicy, just the way we love it and can never find in this area. We also ordered the stir fry eggplant and it was one of the most delicious things ever.4. Forrest Herald: Took my friend here for her birthday. We got Spicy cold noodles, Dry pot chicken, and yushuan eggplant w tofu, all were excellent. The spicy cold noodles looked very different in person than they did in the menu, but they were fantastic. I wasn't expecting the bones in the chicken, but they didn't detract from the amazing flavor of the dish, just forced me to exercise some caution while enjoying it. The tofu was amazing! Well sauced, crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. We finished the cold noodles, and brought home as much of the other two as we ate at the restaurant. Then the waiter told us it would have been larger for a larger party for the same price. The decor is very nice, too. I consider this a fine dining place.

Any reviews that seem to be painting a different story are extremely off. This is probably one of the most authentic hot pot places in all of Lansing. Definitely the most tasty in all of Lansing. High praise, but it's true. Go with friends or family, and enjoy your time there. The service was great when we went in on my birthday. Staff was polite and helped with the meal choice. Also, when you go in, be respectful. They're sharing amazing food, so there isn't a point to being a jerk.

A. Tatara: I love Koala Bakery! I've had a couple of their teas (their mango milk tea with boba was delicious) and a few of their desserts. I really liked the taro crepe cake and the Japanese cheesecake, and while I didn't love the durian milk pudding, I was excited for the opportunity to try durian for the first time. My family is definitely planning to return to try more of their desserts and teas, and maybe some of their entrees, too.

Susan Lesio: They do not understand spice levels. Ordered a dish with no spice and received food ladened with red chili pepper flakes. Way too spicy for a "no spice" request. Dinner ruined.Called to complain and get another dish made, and they didn't understand the request. Sadly, will never return or refer others.Vegetarian options: Limited, but available.

Jeffrey W: Asia's Worst! I went in to order 2 lunches. Ordered Chicken Cashew and decided on General Tso for the second. Lady at counter asked me "cash or card"? I replied "does it make a difference?". First she said no, then she said just a "little bit". Very vague answers AND NEVER TOLD ME THE TOTAL! (But I knew it would be approx $20 with 2 x 9.49 lunches). So I asked if a $100 bill was okay and she said yes. Here's the second problem, she struggled for several minutes trying to figure out the change! Again she never told me a total nor did I see it on the register. After the few minutes of struggling she handed me $79.85 back (close). I sat and waited for my lunches, and my order came up quickly. I left and drove home. Got home and realized that I had only ONE LUNCH! Okay very inconvenient mistake right? NO, I call up to say I never got my chicken cashew and the lady starts arguing with me. Saying I only ordered one and apparently I only paid for one.....this discussion progresses into YELLING in broken English until she hangs up on me! With her lack of math skills, English skills and people skills she should have just listened for a moment to the customer. And since I was so upset after being yelled at and hung up on by a @x!@ that was 1000% wrong, I ACTUALLY drove back to the restaurant. Walked in and she was still a 'B' to me but at least not yelling and asked if I wanted my General Tso (wrong again missing Cashew) but I told her I wanted my money and had no interest in patronizing her restaurant! She must have figured out that she was wrong after she HUNG UP on me, and did hastily give back $10 to me WITHOUT ANY APOLOGY.

Sandie Foodie: Ordered bean curd (tofu) with garlic sauce, wings, fried rice, general tsos chicken and vegetable egg rolls. Bean curd was not well seasoned, garlic sauce was ok, wings were well seasoned but had a hint of sweetness which I didn’t care for, fried rice and general tsos were just ok. Decent prices, clean restrooms, enough seating, waitress was friendly and accommodating. Not the best or the worst food,but, I’ve had much better from “fast food” or hole in the wall Chinese restaurants. The customer service takes it from 2 to 3 stars.
