Dan: I went for my first time today after always hearing my neighbor rave about them. I looked at the reviews and they seemed promising. Inside there is 4 or 5 tables and a bar like table that has 4 or 5 seats. We placed our order and sat down. The food came out hot and fairly fast. I wasn't a fan tamale on the combination plate, but the taco was good. I didnt care for the chicken quesadilla my wife got, it was just bland and basic. It was however a huge portion. I will give this place another try, since it does have great reviews, maybe it was an off day for them.

Chief Cox: Ordered 17 meals to go. The food was ready when i arrived. Everything was hot and fresh. Each box was labeled and the entire order was correct! Everything was DELICIOUS! The guys were very polite and professional. I was amazed at how well they worked together to get the order ready and out the door all while dealing with phone orders and new customers coming in the restaurant. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

Clown Mob: If you have experienced real Mexican food and you come here with the expectations of authentic Mexican food. You will be disappointed. The food was edible but not pleasant. Their queso however was pretty good. They did have exceptional customer service and provided a refund without me even asking. Unfortunately I am an absolute die hard fan of Mexican food and I'm in lansing on a work trip looking forward to get some great food and the food was overall just disappointing

Abigail Smith: Terrible service on Mother’s Day of all days I was just trying to enjoy some food with my babies for the day and the waiter was rude. My kids didn’t like there burritos I ordered off the kids menu and I asked to just pay half price and only pay for the tacos they ate and pay for the rest & Miguel the manager ima assuming insisted I pay for the full plate before I left because I was wasting their food and they can’t afford that. I have visited the west side location and gotten great service. My friend wasn’t a fan of his burrito cause it’s wasn’t cooked fully but they were swamped that night so it was understandable and they took the meal off our bill with no hesitation. I would not recommend anybody to the frandor location ever again. They weren’t even very busy and still gave terrible service!

Both of the last two times I've been here I've considered walking out multiple times during the visit. Server was nowhere in sight the entire time including waiting forever for check. Apparently the only one that can help me is the guy who went home in the middle of the shift to take a break... multiple visits same thing

Cherilyn Wang: They changed their name and menu and everything. I didn’t expect the quality to change so drastically. This was 16 bucks and it used to be a two meal amount in half a pineapple for me and now it’s five pieces of pineapple and I’m not even full after finishing this whole dish. Just because you’re not franchise anymore doesn’t mean you can take advantage of your regular customers and make more money off of that. That’s just not how business work. Never coming again.
Randy F: This location was bought by Acapulco Mexican Grill recently. Food, service and staff are still the same. All great. But the festive decor is completely gone and they "modernized" it with the ugly colors you'd see in boring restaurants. Shame really.

After trying to think of an answer the waitress said it was the automatic tip added into the bill.Remember to double check your bill before leaving a tip since they give themselves 20% no matter what. We had 5 adults and 2 kids under the age of 6 with us, possible a party size policy but wasn't indicated or mentioned anywhere on the menu.

When we showed up it was roughly 45 minutes to closing time while we were looking at the menu they were shutting off lights which made it darker than it already was. They’re close to the neighborhood and have a lovely patio, but alas, the food is comically bad.Chips are visibly stale, salsa is thick as mud, and the hot queso dip has literal chunks of unmelted shredded cheese in it. Ray Raddatz: This is a fairly typical but not terribly authentic Mexican restaurant chain in this area. Think chilli's.I had the Chipotle Fajitas and it was nice and flavourful. I only deducted a little because i was repeatedly brought flour tortillas instead of the corn i asked for.
Dixie Stevens: Such amazing food and very quick service. It's been my favorite Mexican place for two years! (I'm from Texas so I have a high standard lol)
Jenn Arias: The food here was good. The chicken tacos were better than the steak, my opinion. Even thought both were still good! The customer service was not the best. The waitress was not very attentive or friendly. Once we finally did place our order, it took 1 hour to get our food. It was not super busy when we went so don’t know why it took that long. I plan to go back in the future, and hopefully I can receive better service next time.

When you can’t get a simple order like tostada guacamole right because you forgot the guacamole, why bother? This is only one example of their ineptitude in the 12 years I’ve done business with them. Matthew Silverio: Horrible restaurant. I was in Lansing for a small weekend trip to see my girlfriend at college. I ordered mild salsa on doordash and immediately had diarrhea and throwing up. It got so bad and I couldn’t keep anything down that I had to go to the ER. They did all kinds of tests and it was determined that it was really bad food poisoning. If you want to get super sick, eat at this place.

Amy Babcock: Lansing actually has a decent food scene here, with many options to choose from. I was famished and needed something to eat, and after scouring restaurants in the area, this place came up. I liked that they served breakfast, lunch AND dinner, so off I went!Parking here's decent, but if you want to park in the public lots to do stuff and walk around the area, you have to download some app to pay. Being that I was irrationally hungry, I didn't feel like downloading anything, and I actually got a better parking spot parking on the street and right in front of Pablo's.Walking in, the place isn't huge, but there's enough room for up to a party of 4 to dine in. I grabbed a booth and reviewed the menu to see what offerings they had. They did start me off with chips and salsa, and the chips were great. Salsa was good, but could have used a little more pep to it.I went with the Huervos Mexicana, which was absolutely fabulous. It's basically scrambled eggs with tons of good stuff in it, rice and refried beans. My only concern was I told my waitress to go easy on the Jalapenos, but I think she must have heard "no jalapenos" because I didn't notice any in my dish when she brought it out.Food was excellent, and the refried beans were DELICIOUS. (some places have very bland refried beans. I don't know why this is a thing for me. Weird.) Prices here are spot on, and the whole thing cost me $10 plus tip. Server was fabulous and she was really super nice. Even for a random weekday morning, the place seems to be a busy spot, which is a good sign.For a solid quick meal, check this place out. Legit Mexican food for an excellent price. You won't be disappointed!
