Lucas Orow: Amazing fish store. If you want healthy, hardy, RARE fish come here. Owner Cal is very helpful and has 50+ years of experience. One of the only stores I have never gotten ich from. If you want fish you will never see at petco or petsmart this is the place to be. I have seen hillstream loaches, botia loaches, nertie snails, bumblebee catfish, peppered Cory cats, tinfoil barbs, paradise fish, geophagus, knight gobies, even some deep blue shrimp, and many more fish I have never seen in a pet store before. Definitely come support and check this place out.

Nimesh Chandran: Went there on a snowy saturday morning. The place was deserted. The man at the counter was extremely helpful and good-natured. The shop had a good selection of tropical fish. And the owner cleared all the doubts i had. Unlike other LFS, the aquarium setup at this place was more like a community tank setup. A couple of different species are put together in a tank. Tanks were clean, and all the fish looked healthy.

They barely had any clearance for the tank and had to partially deconstruct the stand to even get it to fit but they did it. I can't thank them enough because they were willing to take on the task and I would have had no way of getting it down myself. Couldn't recommend these guys more if you need to do a big tank move.

Ashton Nietzke: As someone who has shopped at Kees for over 20 years (since I was a little kid), I was sorely disappointed in their saltwater fish today. After driving over an hour to get there, over half the aquariums were empty, about half of the fish that were in stock were displaying various diseases, and the tanks were in atrocious shape. The display tanks look very rough, most of the fish are gone now, and again, those in the tank have visible signs of disease. Nuisance algae and pest anemones are present throughout their previously gorgeous 1000 gallon display, and most of the other tanks as well.When I did see 1 tank with some very nice looking green chromis and anthias I did want to buy, I was told no because they came in that day from a customer trade in and they wanted to monitor them. I replied that I understood the risk, that I quarantine my own fish anyways, and that I'd rather get them now and lessen their risk of catching disease from the system they are in, but the salesperson said he asked the owner, and the owner wouldn't sell them. Which is a lie, because I've known the owner for years and he wasn't there at the time.Truly a waste of time and a disappointment. Hopefully David gets things turned around, but I'm not coming back for the foreseeable future.

Adam Beger: I've been looking for a quality pet shop to find some decorations for my leopard geckos enclosure and I'm glad I found this place. The people are extremely nice and the prices are fair. I think I got quite a bit of stuff for less than 60 dollars to completely transform the tank. My Leo and I are extremely happy. 5 stars for sure.

He frequently lies and gives out false information. Save your money and frustration, go elsewhere.List of lies:1. "Saltwater is just like freshwater, the fish are just more expensive to flush down the toilet."2. Sea anemones are coral reef tank safe.3. Mandarin Dragonets are easy to care for.4. A 4" solar wrasse is appropriate for a 30 gal.5. "This wrasse doesn't have a problem, no need to look it up" (it couldn't swim well and appeared to have a broken body or back)6. Sally lightfoot crabs are herbivores, and peaceful. Even at 5 inches. (It took out my army of hermit crabs and coral banded shrimp lost his arms. Oh!6a. "The coral banded probably was being aggressive and got into his space." (That crab was super fast, aggressive and preferred carnivorous food)7. This used tank is like new. (It leaked).8. Black Ghost knife fish are appropriate for a 20 gal tropical community with shrimp and small fish like neon tetras (they require 55gal min when they are small, and 120gal when they grow to their full size of 22". Oh!8a. "This fish will only grow if it's in a big tank". Um, sir? It's not a goldfish and that was a blatant lie. I guess he makes it up as he goes.9. These are also African dwarf frogs (no they weren't, they were African clawed frogs)10. The two different corals on this rock won't sting each other. (Yes they will).11. Scooter blennies don't have a special diet, they eat frozen food (only if you have the patience and knowledge to train them, and if they are receptive to said training. Both are variable, and their normal diet is actually copepods).12. This is a jaw fish. (It was a Watchman goby).13. "OH that tube is a worm snail, they're harmless" (on a live rock I purchased from him, which men's his entire tank of live-rock is infested with Vermetid snails). They're not harmless. Soak any live rock you get from this place in hydrochloric acid to get rid of the snails.Yeah, it just didn't end. I finally cut my losses and never returned. Each experience degraded my respect for the owner, and I finally realized he truly lacks any honor, and preys on the inexperienced aquarium hobbyists.You won't find any experienced hobbyists in his store, come to find out there's a good reason for that. We've learned the information is 100% unreliable, and 99% false. He does it on purpose: its his business strategy: so you come back and return it and spend more money.This man actually got irritated when I turned down a coral he was trying to sell me...he pushed it on me FOUR times!! I had to say no to this guy four times. For a coral. Creepy.

Jamie Estes: It's so important that your LSF has you're best interest at heart. But, this shoppe isn't that. Being new to the reef tank hobby, I got more bad advice than I can count on one had. I can't say it's from ignorance, or just the owner wanting to make a sale, but it surely must be one of the 2. On top of the bad advice, I also got a fish with ich that died the very next day and spread it to my other fish, which are being quarantined. Not to mention, I spent over $100 more on water than the local FS on 9 mile road. Not sure if their prices are that much higher, or if I was just an easy target. I guess I'll never know, but you live and you learn.

Justin Williams: Sadly my first experience with Atlantis Fish Shoppe will be my last. I bought a fan tail calico goldfish there to add to my tank a few weeks ago, and two weeks later all of my fish are dead because the fish I purchased there had ich. The owner states that ich isn't contagious, but it very much is. I went to a mom and pop store like Atlantis Fish Shoppe hoping to avoid a parasitic infection like this, but that did not happen. I would advise against purchasing any fish from this store.
