christina: I brought my dog to the grooming salon and i requested my dog to be groomed by Stephanie because thats who always does his haircut but this time a different groomer cut my dogs hair first we brought him in for a ear clean and she left the ear cleaner in his ears and left wax and when i got home i noticed his ears were bothering him and i decided to grab a cotton pad and see what was wrong i cleaned out his ears and found a ton of wax and then today when i brought him into for his haircut today the same groomer i did not want i didnt get her name but she has red hair but after i went to go pick him up she cut his ear really bad i never had a issue with any other groomer do not go to that groomer i will be taking my dog elsewhere

Ryan Mahaffy: Decent place, and nice employees. Just don’t buy your reptiles basking bulbs here. They told me they had some lady returning her burnt bulbs.. So they test them before selling. Ironically enough; my bulb I paid a decent amount for burns out the next day after returning from work.. So based on their bad customer they had returning their bulbs.. They said “no exceptions” for returning bad ones to me on the phone. So if you’re an honest person looking for bulbs and have bad luck like I did, just buy them from a different store. Side note.. I’m also weird with my purchases too.. purposely grabbed the bulb all the way in the back.

Chervante Nolden: Worst experience ever. PLEASE do not any animals from this place. Conditions are not good and most animals have health issues when you purchase them. I bought a Chameleon that was dead basically when we bought it and was not in the proper conditions when we purchased it. Cage was full of crickets. The Chameleon was not in the proper lighting and was not eating due to the parasites it received living in those conditions.

Took the second bag back today and the manager in charge apologized profusely and made the refund with no questions. From what I understand I am not the only customer with this issue. Will not be going back to this location, even though it is less than a mile from home I will now be going to the Shelby location for my pets needs.
Martin McDonnell: Only place around that carries the food I use. They honor the military discount too.

Cee Cee C: Owner very nice. Good with customers. Gave me no problems when I had to bring back a couple of fish. Also, I love all the little knick knacks he sells! Some very unique pieces! even though there are closer fish shops I know I'll return. The owner really makes you feel special.
Lucas Orow: Amazing fish store. If you want healthy, hardy, RARE fish come here. Owner Cal is very helpful and has 50+ years of experience. One of the only stores I have never gotten ich from. If you want fish you will never see at petco or petsmart this is the place to be. I have seen hillstream loaches, botia loaches, nertie snails, bumblebee catfish, peppered Cory cats, tinfoil barbs, paradise fish, geophagus, knight gobies, even some deep blue shrimp, and many more fish I have never seen in a pet store before. Definitely come support and check this place out.

Would recommend :)Update!It has been 4-5 months and my baby Syrian is amazing he is one of the most active hamsters I’ve seen and has a very good temperament he takes treats from my hand and gets brushed daily.
Nimesh Chandran: Went there on a snowy saturday morning. The place was deserted. The man at the counter was extremely helpful and good-natured. The shop had a good selection of tropical fish. And the owner cleared all the doubts i had. Unlike other LFS, the aquarium setup at this place was more like a community tank setup. A couple of different species are put together in a tank. Tanks were clean, and all the fish looked healthy.
Blue Horse: I just love this little store! The owner really takes care of his fish. I bought beautiful guppies from him and months later they are still doing great!

Chris and Jen Kids: This is a great family-friendly pet store. They have a variety of pet supplies, and if they don’t have something, just ask as they may be able to order something for you. Recently, they ordered baby tortoises for us, arrived within a few days- healthy and happy.They also host a pet vaccination clinic regularly. It’s a great way to get pets up to date on veterinary care at a reduced rate.Our whole family enjoys trips to Magoo’s!

April Gyde: I bought a hampster cage that stated all pieces in and nothing broken. I put together when I got home and a small little purple piece was broke which would have been easy to miss, I even missed it, until I put it together and my hamster went running in the wheel up top and it was leaning. So I took apart and noticed it broke. I go back to state that it was infact broke and that I understand it could have been hard to see. Sydney the store manager stated that she put it together and it was not broke! I said could have been easy to miss trying to be calm and nice... so refused to give me my money back saying I was lying!!! How professional is that for a manager to say a customer was lying? And refuse ur hard earned money back... ???? I will be getting ahold of corporate and emailing until I speak to someone from the company and make this right! I will not spend another $in this store.

Meredith Wronikowski: I always have a good experience here. I like how I get a mail flyer with weekly specials and don’t have to search online for specials. There is a good selection of pet products, in fact, I was able to buy a 10 ft training leash and an antler chew here as I found PetSmart didn’t have either of those items. The store is clean, has a nice dog wash station and get to see cats or kittens up for adoption!

Sarah Garrison: This was my first bad experience with the groomers at this location. It seems like they have an entire new crew. My pup came out of his appointment with red all around his eye. If it were an allergic reaction I think it would be both eyes… so I’m not sure if he got whacked by something or what. They didn’t mention it & I didn’t notice until we were home. I’m not sure if they even attempted to trim his nails, because they look the same. It took them an hour and a half when usually it’s around 45 mins. For $60 I expected the good job that we normally get. Unfortunately I’ll have to checkout a new location, because they really just didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

Shampoo, conditioner, water, and towels are all provided for one price. It's a great concept, and all our friends (and their dogs) just love it.Unfortunately, our dog hated it...absolutely hated it. I don't know why. Our pup just doesn't like showering in public I guess.Not the store's fault. We still like going here (dog included). I just won't try to wash him there again anytime soon.

Carol Saylor: The prices at this store are astronomical. I've been buying the same parrot food for 6 years and the price literally goes up every time I purchase. I had to end up buying bulk food because I couldn't afford the pre-packaged pellets from the manufacturer. There's never a sale on one bag of food - it always has to be "buy one, get one 1/2 off". The food is not available on Amazon, unfortunately.
