AMC Forum 30: what do users think?
barbara brady: My go to place for movies
P & M Eastman: Great spot to see Eric Claptons 24 Nights.
Angelina Main: No just don’t go here, anywhere else is better. If it’s rated R they will ID you even if you’re 60. Ask grandma💀
Ian Christiansen: Theatre 16 was awesome. Love the Dolby Sound. Seats are very comfy. The everything bagel flavored pretzel bites are worth it! Dried mangos are a good snack addition.
Amanda Lewinski: My fiancé and I see a movie almost every weekend. We are A List members and love it. Highly recommend if you are movie go-ers like us. We only watch movies on Dolby (it’s so much better) so the seats are comfortable and lean back. Concessions are always good-we’ve gotten a variety of food there. Their chicken tenders are amazing!! Staff is always friendly. Drinks are always good. And bathrooms are always clean!! This is a really nice theater overall. I remember going there as a kid too and as an adult I have a great experience.
Ivonne Aguilar: Los asientos están un poco incómodos y rígidos pero todo lo demás es muy bueno
Sharon Rashid: The Manger. LEE was extremely professional, kind, cordial and accommodating. It's very RARE these days to have such consideration to the Consumer as myself who patronizes the business and understands the quality of. "Excellent Consumer Relations" as, LEE who is so very Awesome....Thanks AMC for delegating LEE as your finest Manager!!!👍👍👍
Roshen Mathew: Great screen (Dolby cinema), wonderful friendly staff, and clean theatre! Great place to see a film.
Mark Woudenberg: Clean, well run, great selection
Michael McCarthy: The environmentally friendly straws are bad. I had to go through a couple of different ones that were falling apart inside of the wrapper. The seats are not comfortable. The automated ticket kiosks at the entrance didn't work so we went to the window. The ticket window vendor was crass. The commercials and previews before the feature had the volume cranked all the way up. The concessions attendant that was a nice young lady was great to deal with, not the guy with long hair and glasses though, he gave me the creeps. I'll probably stick with MJR in the future.
Lulu: Pretty decent. Went during Matinee hours, no crowds no trouble. The best way to do it is, order your tickets online so that you won't have to stand in a line. Tickets were very reasonable for adults and children. Will be making a return visit.
Tea Bee: This movie theater over sell tickets. The movie theatre was so crowded, people were sitting on the stairs. A manger came and brought a few foldable chairs, and placed those in the handicap section. Still, some people were out of seats, that were paid for. People were able to get a refund for the movie and concessions, so that was good. But all in all, bad experience. Good thing MJR is down the street.
Patricia Egan-Myers: They have movies not shown in other theaters. The theaters are clean. Service good. The theaters are well maintained.
Darcie: Avatar 2 in IMAX was incredible, but the theater had some big faults. The seating is very outdated, and the prices of the popcorn and soda are outrageous. If I'm paying $9 for a popcorn the size of a lunch bag (see photo), the seats better be nice. The ones in the IMAX theater don't recline at all, and they're quite shallow. I'm not likely to return. I always have popcorn and a soda at the movies.Update:The theater wallpaper was also falling off (see photo). Where the heck does the concession money go?!? Fix up the place!
Carmine Tenaglia: First off, the theater seats were less comfortable then the chairs the CIA uses to interrogate at gitmo. The web experience to buy the tickets was really bad and the experience was confusing.I recommend Emagine or another theater before going here.
Kathy Kujawa: Not crowded, friendly service, good selection of movies. Seats were a little uncomfortable and may need to be updated. Great Coke freestyle machine!
Christina Maier: We went to a 715 movie on a Tuesday. You pay ridiculous cost for pop and popcorn, but at 815, the concessions AND AUTOMATED POP MACHINES were shut down so no one could get the refill they were entitled to. My kids were really disappointed.
rose pattison: First of all when you enter it looks very old. There is no friendly atmosphere. The seats are old they don't recline.. Not worth going to have a nice night out, will not be going back.
Jamie Loper: Nice theater. First time there. I think it's needs to be updated, as far as seating. Staff is friendly.
Cheryl Jarzombek: Too expensive, old seating
Oli: Beware, Scammers! They charged $16.98 on my credit card but I didn't get a ticket online!!!

Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill: what do users think?
Angela Myers: Been to a few concerts at this venue that is not too big.
Jutzitxidf Dygdg: Good
Lori Larson: Saw the Goo Goo Dolls and Blue October!
1.O. 1. Photography: Very nice performance center.
Benjimin Donnelly: Decent venue with killer shows
Tom Paul: What a silly name. Just like Comerica park, Lca, dte music theater, etc. Why cant it stay Freedom Hill? Oh wait, I guess everything today is about selling out and making money. Cant wait for Walmart churches, Costco College and Sam's Club Hospital. Dangerously close to the movie Idiocracy.
Mary Essterday: Great band music was awesome good place to take the family
Dustin Hart: I was a traveler and did hear things about this place , did not go the decision was no by COVID-19.
Mark Hamlin: Freedom Hill is awesome! Nice clean place, great little amphitheater close to home. Half the size of pine knob so theres really not a bad seat. But, do not, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, go to see Bring Me The Horizon in concert! Dont waste your time and especially your money! My daughter and l went on October 15th and they TOTALLY RIPPED US OFF! They ripped everyone off! Ive been to over 400 concerts in my life and lve never ever have been to one where a major headlining band played for BARELY ONE HOUR! BMTH played for exactly 67 minutes and just ended. No encore, no "thank you Michigan" no NOTHING! They are a great live band, they definitely put it all together, they jam, but come on man! 67 minutes?! Absolutely reprehensible and a total joke! Bring Me The Horizon is a joke and they will rip you off! Never again Olli!
Paul “Bear” Ravenstone: I liked the venue, I hated be advertised to every where I turned my head to, and including on the video screen between groups
tammy Ferrante: This place is great! Smaller than Pine Knob, so the artist is much closer no matter where you sit. Beautiful location, great acoustics, can’t wait to go back.
TheSiblingGamers: Undercunstrucin
Michael Jennings: I've seen multiple bands her3 and it is always a great experience! My only gripe about the whole place is that the bathroom lines are ridiculously long basically all the time haha
Theresa Garcia: We saw Bring me the horizon in concert!!It was great the sound was spot on.Pretty easy to get there 2.5hr drive for me.
Kat Kerby: Had a great time at the show! A drunk guy fell in front of me and my key fob got attached to him from my lanyard and ripped off when he fell. I didn't notice until I got back to my car, and with being rushed out so quickly by security after the show, there was no way to check for lost/missing items. It took me two days, 40 calls, dozens of emails, social media messages, and comments to finally have someone get a hold of me. Eventually, I got in contact with Jessica, who was the last of the staff left at this venue for the season. She located the fob in the lost and found, and put it aside. I then talked to Mike Buggy, the head of security, who walked me through getting the fob back and where to go since the venue is closed. I appreciate the staff that helped me out with this problem so much, special thanks to Montez, Jessica, and Mike. I saw the box at the lost and found and wasn't surprised to see it filled with missing items as it's so incredibly hard to get a hold of someone at this specific venue the day after the last show of the season. I'm hoping this venue can work on their communication and disorganization a little better before next year.
Taylor Blum: This place was alright for a concert, but getting out of the parking lot afterwards is a nightmare.
Veronica MitchellGlenn: Surprised 4 date nite w/Alicia Keyes tickets. Then she popped up a few ft n frt of us n played some of her new music. Great show amazing nite
Ryan M: Sound quality was bad and very quiet for a concert. It sounds really muffled and muddy, not mixed well. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, but I understand the outside venue noise ordinance thing. Parking was an absolute disaster trying to leave. Won't ever come to another concert here.
Robert Pack (InfamousBlue): That experience with Bring me The Horizon was so wild I doubt people would believe me even if I recorded the whole thing
Colin Sauer: Parking is a mess.
Jason.R. Anthony: great place to see a show

MJR Marketplace Digital Cinema 20: what do users think?
Adam Barrientez: Movies are always a treat, and a timeless form of entertainment. This location always delivers !
Vicki Brancik-Saunders: Awesome seating!
Andrea Williams: Easy entry and clean. Bathrooms are very clean also. Recliner seating. Nice experience.
Sandra Morrow: Enjoyed this movie theater 🎭🎊Great staff and prices 😊 plus it's always clean💫 Loyal customer ‼️🎭
P V: The recliner seats weren’t very comfortable.
Ruth Liarge: Dirty
Jaime Te-Ana: My husband and I favorite movie theater in the Metro area
Shirley Henry: Always clean and I enjoy Tuesdays being able to see movies at $5 with free refills on popcorn and pop.
jo millard lancaster: Clean and very comfortable.
Micah Lee: I like mjr a bit more than amc
J D: Just completely frustrating - my last several experiences have been bad. I keep hoping for a return to glory when MJR was the premiere movie-going experience in metro Detroit - but, it's pretty clear that's not going to happen. My last movie had more cell phones lighting up the theater than the actual movie.Went to the concession counter - it was a mess and just had one employee stare at me and not say a word... I finally tracked down a manager who was sitting at the bar playing on his phone. The men's room floor had puddles of water. At least, let's hope it was water.Pre-Covid I was at the movies about once a week. Unfortunately, MJR has pretty much ruined the movie experience for me. I understand it might be difficult to hire people - but, there's really no excuse for the horrible experience -- when I can go to other theaters, a bit further away and have a darn-near perfect theater experience.
carin onstott: We love coming here. MJR is our movie place. The hotdogs are the bomb!!! Who knew? The workers are always pleasant and we have become friendly with the concession guy. He is usually working on Friday am.
Michael Barrett: This is my theater of choice. Its always clean there, including the bathrooms. The staff are usually helpful when you have an issue. The seating is awesome because of the inclined seating. Will always go back to MJR.
Owen Cauley: The theatre was good, but the advertisement before the movie was absolutely revolting. If I had been with a child, I would have blown a gasket. I'm not easily offended, but this was ridiculous, my friend felt the same way. This is a truly sad reflection of our current society. Shame on you MJR.
Sue Pleiness: Relaxing place, sound too loud
Troilus J Moss: Me, my family and my daughters best friends went to see Mario Brother', and it was entertaining. The movie theater was nice and added the ambiance of watching a movie in the theater.
Linda Woodin: It was too warm and had an odor but the movie was great oh the popcorn was stale and the pop was watered down i tried to get slurpee but that was all water as well ...but i only pd 5 dollars SO You get what you don't pay for
Greg Feldner: Very clean, not a long wait. Private sitting. Our only concern was the website had a different start time for the movie at this location then when we got there
Dave William Boni: Nice VIP seats with recliners. Fast lines for food etc… very clean
E L: Rad place, good service, can't complain.
Sprite Masters: I like this theater a lot. Nice seats.
