Michael Fair: I called the day before to discuss how it would work for my 5 year old daughters to come in and get their hair done for the daddy daughter dance. I was told to make sure to come in by 230. She didn't say to schedule an appointment, bc I would have. I get to their today at 2 and I am told that they cant help me as everyone has clients. My 5 year olds have barely any hair and for someone who knows what they are doing it wouldn't take 2 hours before close to get their hair done. Really disappointed and my girls left crying.

The student malcolm, did a great job and he only asked for assistance in the beginning. That says to me that they are very well trained. Go get your haircut here it's only five bucks and you'll help the students out by giving them the hours that they need to graduate and that experience and practice they need to get better and better.

Highly recommend.I’ll be discussing 3 things about this place and keep them in bullet points for those looking in depth to why I have given Gabby’s barber shop a 5 star* Hospitality as a new customer was unmatched and made me feel welcomed it’s hard coming to a new place and expected to be taken serious. I’ve been here for a year so far every experience is as good as the last if not better.* Sam and Gabby are both phenomenal Barbers and take there passion and skills very serious. I have had my hair cute by both. Sam is my personal barber I go to due to the relationship we have created through making jokes and him being the barber that had gave me a cut first. Sam has had over 37 years of experience while gabby 14. I know these things because I conversation with them and this is an unbiased opinion just how I feel about the place. The level of understanding Sam has when I sit down is as if he know what I’d tell him to do. He looks at my head and knows the cut I want. He has also recommended styles and incorporated different techniques that I have yet to see in others which makes me feel good and after I leave the barber shop Im at peak confidence. I’ve had times with other barber shops that I didn’t feel that way but understood that they have had a long day and are not at their optimal level and let it be without saying much yet Sam seems to be always at his peak performance regardless of time of day and week.* I drive here every 5-13 days with that drive being 15-24 minutes depending on the traffic. I like to get my hair cut more often then some might think is normal due to my hair growing above average in such a short period of time. If I was financially free I’d be getting one every other day maybe even everyday just for the fun of it. I would easily make the drive even if it was longer. 8/10 When I come in I wait no more then literally 0-5 min most cases I’m taken in right away the other 2/10 the wait isn’t as bad 5-15 but it rarely ever happens and to avoid this I call ahead of time to ask if its busy. This is normal and expected if the place you go is as good as you believe it to be. I walked in and the place was super unsanitary as there was alot of hair on the floor when i went to sit down they didnt even sweep the hair from the other person who came before me. When i sat down to get the haircut the guy had so much stuff covering the mirror so while he was cutting my hair he turned the chair the opposite way of the mirror. I told him wanted a fade and he cut my sides bald. Not to mention how ruff he was. He almost scared my head with how ruff he was. I was so upset and he didnt even asked me if i like it because he knew I didnt like it. I can’t speak on the other barbers but theres no excuse for what this guy to me.
