Highly recommend.I’ll be discussing 3 things about this place and keep them in bullet points for those looking in depth to why I have given Gabby’s barber shop a 5 star* Hospitality as a new customer was unmatched and made me feel welcomed it’s hard coming to a new place and expected to be taken serious. I’ve been here for a year so far every experience is as good as the last if not better.* Sam and Gabby are both phenomenal Barbers and take there passion and skills very serious. I have had my hair cute by both. Sam is my personal barber I go to due to the relationship we have created through making jokes and him being the barber that had gave me a cut first. Sam has had over 37 years of experience while gabby 14. I know these things because I conversation with them and this is an unbiased opinion just how I feel about the place. The level of understanding Sam has when I sit down is as if he know what I’d tell him to do. He looks at my head and knows the cut I want. He has also recommended styles and incorporated different techniques that I have yet to see in others which makes me feel good and after I leave the barber shop Im at peak confidence. I’ve had times with other barber shops that I didn’t feel that way but understood that they have had a long day and are not at their optimal level and let it be without saying much yet Sam seems to be always at his peak performance regardless of time of day and week.* I drive here every 5-13 days with that drive being 15-24 minutes depending on the traffic. I like to get my hair cut more often then some might think is normal due to my hair growing above average in such a short period of time. If I was financially free I’d be getting one every other day maybe even everyday just for the fun of it. I would easily make the drive even if it was longer. 8/10 When I come in I wait no more then literally 0-5 min most cases I’m taken in right away the other 2/10 the wait isn’t as bad 5-15 but it rarely ever happens and to avoid this I call ahead of time to ask if its busy. This is normal and expected if the place you go is as good as you believe it to be. I can not give this young man enough praises. He was patient, calm and really made my son feel comfortable. You can tell that Seno loves with he does and has a passion for cutting hair. The barbers are friendly, attentive and professional.The only problem I found with Dave's is that they do not do appointments and for an individual with a tight schedule it doesnt always work out as well. My last experience wasn't copacetic at all. I was told Dave would be in at a particular time I chose to wait then was told he would be in at 4:00, next was told he wasnt coming in that day. No real clarity of when I would be able to get a cut and for a busy individual that is not going to work. I unfortunately for this shop am LOYAL to my barber. I dont care how many barbers you have and if the all can cut, my barber is MY BARBER. They have a 30$ same day cancel fee yet their barbers will cancel your appointment 10 minutes before you arrive with no reason which is what happened to me. I walked in no one greeted me half barbers were on the phone I wanted to at least speak with the barber Fadi who canceled on me introduce myself ask for it to not happen again but the man was sitting on his phone while someone was in the chair for my appointment having a casual conversation with a friend or relative. Guy doesn't even have airpods he's got the phone pinched up to his ear by his neck head on tilt while trying to cut someones hair. Trust me your money is better spent elsewhere I was watching him cut this mans hair in my chair and I went from resentful to thankful that this happened to me saved me from wasting the 30 plus tip on a bad cut. The barber was probably half asleep or didn't even care enough to make sure all of my hair was actually cut. Didn't notice until i arrived home and had to use a scissor to cut the remaining hair. Food Liker: This place is a scam!! I went there and waited 3 hours for a cut. There were multiple barbers and other walk In customer although I came before the other customers they picked me last. I cloud even hear one of barbers say that he doesn’t wanna cut my hair. After waiting for 3 hours it was my turn for my cut. The barber that was cutting me took less than 25 minutes cutting my hair. I thought that the price was $25 with with the hair and beard, that’s how it’s always been. I ask the barber to trim my beard he says it’s gonna be another $20, I waited for 3 hours so I didn’t say no. After it was my turn to pay, the barber says if I want give him a tip, how can I say no when someone is straight up asking for a tip. They charged me 51$ for my haircut and my friend that went me got the same haircut done and got charged $25, scam scam scam!!!!

However, the fantastic thing about a barber, and these guys specifically at Dodge Point barber, is that they are professionals. Professionals that do not have a cookie cutter approach to cutting hair, but can take your requests, such as, "please do not fade and cut the back too short." (typical for a man’s cut at a barber) and do exactly what you’d like. It really is a treat to watch them as they are meticulous, exact, and did a nice job interacting with my son. I even requested a little of the warm cream and straight razor for the side burns just so my son could experience it and it was honored - followed with a good bedside manner and a joke that made him laugh. DA DIVO: I should have turned around and left when I walked in and the was a guy showing a gun to the other barbers. I quickly looked pass that and decided to get a haircut...Another mistake. My barber was shaking the entire time and had no idea on how to actually cut my hair. I wish if he didn't know how or wasn't comfortable with how to do it, he should have said that, I would have understood and went somewhere else. By far the worst experience AND haircut I’ve ever had! Never coming back!
