Kimberly Gallus: We have had a great experience at Sylvan! The staff have been wonderful with helping my son. They are so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. I really like, too, the small student to teacher ratio. The individual attention allows my son to feel comfortable and have the support he needs.Jenny, the center director, goes above and beyond. She has always been so understanding and kind throughout our time at Sylvan. I appreciate the meetings she schedules to let you know of your child's progress. Thank you to Jenny and her team for making my son's experience exceptional!
LaShuna Early: We love Sylvan! My oldest son goes there for math and we are starting to see an improvement in his grades at school, as well as his confidence in math. My younger son goes there as well and he enjoys going. Neither of my children complain about attending their sessions. The staff is wonderful. Monthly meetings with the director are very detailed and help me to understand what areas they have mastered and what they still need more help/practice with. We have no complaints at all.
Kristina Mancini: The staff at Sylvan of Sterling Heights are so kind and friendly! My son has gained much more confidence in math. He leaves his sessions with excitement and tells me all about what he did and how many tokens he has saved up. The atmosphere is fun and engaging, always looking forward to the next visit. Monthly parent meetings with the director keeps me updated with the progress and the individualized plan for my child. I have had all positive interactions with Sylvan of Sterling Heights!
Stephanie Krzeminski: I truly cannot say enough good things about Sylvan! Everyone there has been so kind and very easy to work with. My child has made amazing progress in their reading program. I don’t know what we would have done without them!
Gianna Davis: Sending our daughter to Sylvan was a great decision. We saw result within the first month of tutoring and saw a change in her self confidence. She enjoys the teachers and has a great time when she’s there.
Sydni D'Marie: If I could I would give this place a 0. I would go every Sunday or weekday it depended on how my schedule was. I was there this one time and this lady helped me with a vocabulary worksheet that I didn’t get. I got a 0 on the paper. This place had me crying at nights and in the morning and it’s extremely over priced. I do not recommend.
E.Christine Welch: I give Sylvan a 2. I loved how professional the staff and director were. The assessments were extremely detailed. The location is nice and clean in a great area. However, for 45-50.00 an hour I never saw any improvement with my daughter in the particular subject we signed up for. I saw moments for potential but my daughter’s grades never got better. We attended for 9 months or so. I will say on multiple occasions we were late 3-8 minutes for tutoring so maybe the tardiness played a factor but this was my experience despite the staff being very very nice.

Fransheska Wiggins: Great establishment. Highly recommend. Been coming to sylvan since June 2018. My son is doing very well here, loves it. He has improved a whole lot and is even above his level in math now. He is a 4th grader. He used to struggle with math, now it's his favorite subject. Clean location, very professional and understanding of situations. We are a military family and move a lot, different states have different standards so I will most definitely continue to invest with sylvan.
JEREMY ALLERDING: Make sure you return for tutoring within 90days or they will not mail you results.. I was told they ASSUME you will return within 24 hours so they don’t tell you about the 90day cut off.Money is non refundableThis location is not in Sterling Heights I was not able to make it back to Utica Hall rd. Was horrible when I traveled there

The staff are absolutely the best. They are very in tuned to each student and really are hands on. I couldn't have asked for better Teachers for my daughter. I would recommend Sylvan Learning Center to anyone who has a child struggling with any type of school work. With Sylvan you will see an improvement within your child studies. I think that the best part of her day is when she get to spend time at Sylvan, everything else is a blur to her.Thank you Sylvan for making a difference in my child's education.

Garima Kaushal: Inkwell English Education has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our son gained so much under the guidance of Mrs. Boniface and Mrs. Ohly. I learned how to effectively write essays and because of Inkwell, I was able to win awards at many writing competition. The tutors are very nice and the lesson plans were never boring. I was able to learn a lot while still having fun.

Helen Wang: Mrs. Boniface, Mr. Strubler, and Mrs.Ohly helped me improve my writing, reading, and comprehension skills. They are great teachers who explained vocabularies and grammar well. Mrs. Ohly is very kind and patient. I gained a higher score on SAT reading section after practicing reading passages and study vocabularies with Mrs. Boniface and Mrs. Ohly. I highly recommend Inkwell to any student who wants to improve their English skills!
Fu Liang: Inkwell has totally transformed my daughter's Language Arts. She had taken Inkwell for three years with Mrs. Boniface and she has improved tremendous in the subject. Now the younger sister is also taking classes with Mrs. Boniface, she offers systematic design and customized curriculum, and much more. All these are exactly what students need to excel in the challenging subject.

James Deng: Ms. Boniface tutored my daughter in a group lesson given at our local Chinese school. My daughter was very motivated in the learning activities designed to make writing so fun. Most parents of that group also liked the outcome of the lesson. This led to my decision of sending my son for a private lesson with Ms. Boniface in this summer. Language is an art both enjoyable and important in our life. It might take some time of learning to be good at it. It definitely worth the time and money invested.

K L: Ms. Boniface has been very helpful for both of my two sons. My older son was under Ms. Boniface for about a year, and gained a lot of confidence. My younger son was under Ms Boniface for over a year and due to schedule conflict, we paused for a couple of years. Since last fall, our younger son asked to go back to Ms. Boniface because he felt Ms Boniface was very helpful. She always prepares and provides a lot of in depth analysis with my son and adjust her teaching plan accordingly. Although driving from Novi to Rochester is quite a commitment for parents but we think it is worthy it. I will highly recommended Ms. Boniface to my fiends and families.
