CJ: From start to finish, Redline Fence is the way to go. With 4 estimates, we decided to go with Redline after meeting Korbyn personally, and then him explaining everything that will happen in the process. We weren't looking for the cheapest installer out there, but we did have a request to have it installed by a certain date as we are a corner lot with children. Redline took care of everything, like permit, submitted plans, measurements, etc, and would have had it installed a week after deposit was made, but we needed a variance approval from the city. Our fence was installed in less than 72 hours after our permit was issued. The Redline crew was professional, and quick. The price that was quoted, was the price we paid. There was zero mess, everything was cleaned up, including access dirt. We also received a lock and keys for our gate, something we did not know we were getting.The communication and professionalism from Redline shows from start to finish, and I will, and already have recommended Redline Fence. When Redline came out initially, there was just something about the mannerism and being versed in the knowledge of the procedures of having a new fence installed, and by the time the estimate came later that day, and all questions and concerns were addressed, we were ready to use them, and will again without ever second guessing it.Great Job Redline!!!Service:Vinyl fence installation

JC Yoi: I will not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I paid 12k for the fence and it look like something i would put together and i am not good at that type of things . The fence was poorly put together with gaps and you can see through when it should be a privacy fence. The workers were yelling curse words while on it and kept saying how their team lead didn't know anything and talking bad about them. I went to homedepot because Redline wanted to charge me for equipment they needed for the repairs and were charging me for it. Jonathan Iaquinto: They did a good job on what they did install. What bugs me is that they have not completed the job. Right now I have a 1 foot wide gap in my fence and that's not acceptable. Claiming to come out, when they are in the area next isn't acceptable, and after multiple calls to the company I cannot get a soild answer on when, or dare I say IF, they will finch the job I paid them for.Updated:The gap is closed and the fence looks good. All I had to do was email and call them every day for about 1 and a half weeks.The issue is that they are located on sterling heights and do most of their jobs there. He said that wasn't happening. What a great attitude. I would not reccomend Redline Fence to anyone. How can you run a business and not put the yard back together that you just tore apart? I'm just the neighbor, not even the customer. Just think if I was a paying customer?

Renee Boogren: Excellent installation of a cedar fence surrounding our pool. One of the posts rotted years after the installation. While I am aware that the fence is no longer under warranty, I contacted Michigan Fence in May of 2022 to come and replace the rotted post as it was causing the fence to bow outward. Kevin of Michigan Fence said that he would replace the post with a pressure treated lumber piece and I was going to pay him for the work. Well, I never heard back and he never responded to any of my emails. We called him this time because our tree was hit by lighting and part of it hit the fence on the other side of the yard, it was only a 32 foot portion. Called left a message, no response. Called other places with no luck,called Kevin back this time he called back,said he would come out and measure. Heard back from him through email June 6th, could get the same fence said it was just a matter of waiting for the material to come in. Totally understandable. August 9th emailed him told him we understood how slow things were but did he have an idea of how long it would be. No response again, my husband called, Kevin got an attitude, said my husband was trying to tell him how to run his company because he wanted to know why he hadn't responded to me, this wasaround late Oct. Emailed me Nov 2nd said I will be out later this week or early next week to get the fence in the ground. No show, no communication since.We did not give him a down payment, he never asked for one, if he had we would have no problem. Brian M: They built a custom gate it has said since the first year. Called every year a couple times it keeps saying somebody will come out. One guy came out a couple years ago said they would send somebody out and never did. I'm giving up calling fixing it myself. If you want custom work done don't use these guys.It was sad but the employee that built the gate passed away the following year. I already mentioned something before he passed. I didn't really pressure them out of respect and the fact he was a close family friend not just an employee.

Tim List: I had no issues with how the fence turned out. Made it perfectly clear the money I had invested in my lawn and back yard prior to the fence being put up was a concern on how much they would trash the yard. The amount of dirt and clay brought up during the post holes being dug was 14 wheel barrels worth. I mentioned to the foreman on what they were going to do with all this clay. After everything was done it was going to be spread around the yard he mentioned. First day showed up around 10 o'clock put the posts in and left around 3 o'clock. I should of taken pictures if I did you would not hired them to do your fence. It took me 5 hours after they left just to move all the dirt and clay they brought up. They put all this clay on my property and my neighbors. They came back and put the rest of the fence up.Took me another 4 hours to clean that mess. The foreman never came up to me and said thank you for taken care of our mess and did nothing the second day to take care what was left that they did. I had a talk with the owner about what transpired and I want to be compensated for finishing their job. Her response was I never gave them a chance to do the job. So she sees no reason to compensate me. If I did let them 1. My neighbors would be upset that their mess they made in their yards were not touch because if the fence goes up how do you clean a yard where you can not get to the other side. 2. They left parts of cut up fence in their yard also. Please keep in mind a fence being put up is a construction site they created it. If you do not mind cleaning up their mess took me 9 hours and still do not know what to do with 14 wheel-barrels worth of dirt and clay hire them.

Jordan Cervantes: James and his crew did a really great job installing our fence. They were friendly and very communicative with when they would be coming and with any issues they were having. We absolutely love how our fence turned out. However we were told that we would be given constant communication every step along the way. We gave our deposit June 30th with a installation time quote of 10 weeks and a promise that we would hear when our permit was approved, as well as a couple of weeks before install. We never heard anything from Tiffany unless we were the ones to call. We were told several times we would hear back on a specific date and never did leaving us to feel like we had to pester to get answers. In the end our fence was installed 17 weeks after taking our deposit. I can understand a delay due to Covid and am sympathetic to that, but a delay that significant with absolutely no communication was ridiculous.

Melissa Wilson: I cannot recommend this company for a fence. They talk up the warranty, but when it comes time to use it even for a quick job they will not follow through. Overall good points were the person quoting was friendly and the installers were friendly and efficient.The part that warrants the 1 star, is the owner's abrasive attitude to the customers. Also, they talk up their warranty but when you call them, they will find a way out of resolving the issue. In our case, one side of the gate has dropped 2-3 inches in a little over a 1 year of being installed. This may be due to the fact they installed it in the winter or just didn't tighten something up. I have seen neighbor's fence gates not move and they are about to the end of their projected life. We are told that this is a quick fix and to resolve it ourselves. All we asked was that if it is a quick fix, why don't they send someone out when they are on their way to another job? Lauren DeBruyne: Got scammed by this company. Last year in July of 2022 we put a deposit down for a fence and a gate. Laura is quick to take your money but good luck ever getting your fence or your money back! Go take a look at fox 2 hall of shame. Every single time we called for an update her mailbox was full and no one ever answered. She occasionally responded us on her personal number. Reached out for a refund after 5 months of excuse after excuse, was told she’d give us a call in the morning to discuss. Surprise! She never called, thankfully we were able to dispute the deposit with our CC company. Others were not so lucky as all the other reviews indicate.

Violeta Lucio: Absolutely do not use this company under any circumstances. We are currently involved in a small claims case against Dietz fence and owner operator (Laura Dietz). Do not sign any contract with this company, it’s the only thread they have that allows them to keep your money without completing your job. Do research, check out their BBB score, read google reviews, there are also tons of negative FB posts regarding their business ethics and morals. They have a lot of pending small claims cases against them and many that have already occurred. She is currently facing felony charges. I don’t care how desperate you are for a fence, run don’t walk from Dietz fence. They are professional scammers not professional fence contractors.Edit- judge has ruled in our favor not once but twice. Court clerk told us not to even bother trying to collect our judgement, as we are so far down on a longggg list of people she has to pay back. Stay away from this fence company at all costs. Was featured on hall of shame just a couple months ago.

He has been telling me all the excuses Laura has been giving him from, The company they get their fence material from has gone bankrupted, his fence is scheduled for next week, She lost all her cell phone contacts to the latest one which is a family member is in the hospital. Which tears at all of our heart strigs considering we all have had love one’s sick and has passed away. My son calls me daily about Laura’s excuses, to the point that I called Dietz fence and talked to Gage which I believe is Laura’s Son . He was very professional. He told me he would call his mom and get back with me, which he did minutes later. He told me his mom said the fence is scheduled for next week . That was two weeks ago. I understand having material shortages and delays, it’s the world we live in , but lying to your customers on a daily basis Laura is not how you run a business. My son gave you over $7K upfront for their fence. The right thing to do is return their money! Stephanie Chasney: Use this company with caution. Horrible communication with this company. We were told 6-8weeks for install once deposit was made. It’s been over 25weeks and the company NEVER reached out to us until we contacted them after 10 weeks. They do not answer or respond, when they do they say they’ll call right back and give excuse after excuse. There’s absolutely NO reason to take 20+ weeks and not even reach out to your customers. We’ve asked for our deposit and they will not respond. At this point we’re pretty sure they took our deposit and have no intentions on installing.

Brittany Borges: Paid company down payment of nearly 4K OCTOBER 13TH OF 2021. We have been strung along for nearly a year now, month after month being told excuses and the company making promises of specific material delivery dates, installation dates, when we could get a refund, etc. Now that we are demanding our refund, we can't seem to get a hold of them through personal phone numbers of 2 of the owners (Laura and her husband) and company phone number. I typically don't waste my time writing Google reviews but if this helps other families make an informed decision about their future fencing company, its worth it. We have to through our bank and the BBB who are opening investigations on the company now. I honestly don't trust the reliability and validity of recent positive Google reviews of this company. Andrew Dombrowski: It took a little over 4 months to have our fence installed after being told it would take about 6-8 weeks originally. The owner mentioned that they had to switch suppliers, which ended up working out nicely as the quality is better than the prior material. The install was done in less than a day and at a very fair price. The wait time for material has improved, so I would definitely recommend Dietz at this point. As with anything commodity related these days, be prepared to wait or encounter unexpected delays from time to time. Never received a call that day from this Company explaining why this happened. Called the next day and the days following, no answer. Left a message to return my call, nobody returned my call. Finally a week later I got a hold of someone at the Company, asked for an explanation on why nobody showed up, she asked if I wanted to receive a call from the owner Brian. Provided contact number and have not received a call. It has been almost a week. Very unprofessional and a big waste of my time.

They had professional equipment necessary to install the job again were very professional and courteous I would highly recommend this company. If I had one complaint it is "scheduling" was 10 weeks out and install dates were changed a few times due to weather and other delays but that's probably because of the quality of work they do. Not sure the current rates I thought the prices was reasonable but more expensive then we anticipated comparing a similar vinyl fence done by another company we had done a few years back. but well worth the extra payment knowing the job was done correctly. Cortez Redrick: Due to the pandemic hitting us delayed the installation of our fence which took almost a year to have it installed after the deposit was made. Several attempts were made to east side fence by means of telephone calls and emails, but they weren't very responsive when it came to that. I personally went to there office several times to ask how and when the fence will be installed but they stated that they were waiting on Signature Series Product to supply them with the material, although that company is just across the street from east side fence? I've spoken with Jason a couple of times and he explained the severity of why it's taking so long to receive our material and it was not just ours but other customers as well. After the fourth time going down there and speaking with Jason, I was instructed to go over to Signature and have a chat with them, and I did. with that being said I was accommodated with an upgrade on the rails that they did not have in stock so that the order could be completed with no extra cost to me. The crew came out and I was amazed as to how professional and sequential they were with the removal and installation of our fence. they were very polite and was able to install our fence in one day!!!! The only thing that is not professional is that they don't response to calls or emails on a timely manner, and the boss man, Scott I think that was his name, called in for reinforcements to have this job completed. The fence looks elegant to our property and some of the neighbors began asking questions as to how much the fence cost including my next door neighbor which I wish he could have gotten the quote that I requested for him then he could have been locked in before the price went sky rocketed. Rachel Inwald: Working with Eastside Fence was a nightmare. We chose them over a different company because our main priority was getting the fence installed as soon as possible. We were given an estimate of 8 weeks. It took over 5 months. I would call for an update periodically on when they thought it might be installed. They answered the phone maybe 1 out of 5 times and rarely returned my calls. When I did reach someone and requested a time estimate they told me to contact their supplier myself. I had already given a $1,000 deposit so was stuck with them.I finally got an email back that the fence would be installed in a couple of weeks. I was given a date, and confirmed it over the phone. I was told I would need to be home that day. I took that day off of work. Noon rolled around and there was no sign of the workers. I called and was told they were actually coming the following day because their schedule changed. I was upset, obviously, because taking off work is difficult and costly for me. All I wanted was for someone to notify me that the date had changed. I requested that they simply reimburse me for a day's work given I lost two entire days of income, the wrong gate was installed, and we waited several extra months. It took them 6 weeks to return my call, and said they couldn't do that (all the while talking down to me, saying my name over and over again like I wasn't comprehending what they were saying and being unreasonable - pretty infuriating).They were extremely overpriced, charging $2,000 for 20-something feet of PVC fence and a chainlink gate in a different area of the yard. I was told the chainlink gate would have a rubberized coating. It did not. The PVC fence shakes like it's going to fall over when my medium-size dog jumps on it. The posts were not installed with concrete.They were eager and friendly when they came out for the quote, but everything went to hell after that.
