Thel: My husband surprised me by taking me to dinner and a massage at “massage TJ Spa” My husband drop me off as soon they open, so I was their first customer of the day. My masseuse was Name Mimi!! The establishment looked clean and the atmosphere seems quiet and relaxing for the most part!Now as far as the “massage” it was just ok!! It was Literally basic!! It stated off “OK” until Mimi performed the Hot stone massage! I was burned not once but SEVERAL times as she applied the hot stone to my body! I jumped and said “Hot, hot that burn” several times!! Mimi just passively giggle and apologize however, I didn’t find anything funny!! I couldn’t even enjoying my massage because my back was burning and sore from the hot stone!The atmosphere turned from calm and relaxing to just Loud! I can hear customers coming in/ checking in! Walls so thin that I can even hear guest unpacking/undressing! Hearing their entire conversations among themselves!!This by far was thee WORST massage experienced ever!! On top of everything, I still tipped her! PLEASE do not allow Mimi to give you an “hot stone” massage! I literally got burn scars on my back right now! WILL NOT RETURN BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!! They are lucky I didn’t demand my money back!! Listen Just don’t go here please save your money go elsewhere!! You been warned

To be honest I’m a little particular but I don’t say anything I like to let the masseuse do their thing & see how it goes. Shes a rockstar! She found all my trouble areas without me telling her. She worked them out pretty well. I didn’t ask for extras but when she noticed I needed a little TLC she brought out the hot stones and it was so soothing. She’s also very knowledgeable about the body and did different stretches with me. I got back pain relief because when I went in I was definitely sore and I left feeling better. I did get stress relief for that hour as well very relaxing massage yet just what I needed for my aches and pains. Would schedule again with this particular masseuse.

The owner raves about professionalism, but yet the two giving us massages were talking to each other during the massage, and we could hear everything happening outside of the room, the room was freezing and to make matters worse, we tipped a decent amount and the owner had the audacity to ask us to pay them more. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Won’t be back.

Soo Smith: Super nice experience. Scheduled a deep tissue massage asked for hard pressure. I got what I asked for. She popped some back bones and some hip joints. The therapist knew her craft I got moved around and twisted to make my limbs more lumber. As a female factory worker I don't want to talk that much. Fix the issue even if it hurts. The therapist knew what she was doing. Walked out feeling like Jell-O.

My rule of thumb for a good massage is that I should be walking out at least slightly sore and that was not the case with this massage. In essence, my significant other and I paid for 2 people to rub our backs with lotion. Quite disappointing to say the least. These 5 star reviews must be from couples who have never received a massage in the past.When I made my appointment the gentlemen on the phone boasted about professionalism. Yet, I tipped both masseuses and they had the audacity to ask for more…. And they were quite blunt saying “give more money?” I followed up with “no that’s your tip” and they followed up with “but you give more money.” It was as if they weren’t even gracious of receiving a tip in the first place. My tip reflects the quality of the massage and the quality was quite poor. It would have been a 2 star review if they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable asking me for more money.

Dominique Dubay: Dr. Avula is very knowledgeable, respectful and caring! I felt very comfortable talking with her about my concerns and questions. I suffer from plantar fasciitis so she took an X-ray to check for bone spurs and then scanned my feet to get custom inserts for my shoes. Michelle Hicks: Dr. Avula is truly a Foot Angel. I am a hall monitor and a lunch monitor for a middle school and I'm on my feet five days aweek for 8 hours. I walk up to 5 miles a day at school. I've been having all kinds of foot issues for years. The foot doctor I was seeing didn't address some of these when I brought them up. My orthodics are broken and worn down and all they did was recover them with a cheap covering that after two days of wear needed to be recovered again. Dr. Avula used 3D imaging to make new ones for me. I can't wait to get them!Dr Avula is a Foot Angel. I can't say that enough! At first he seemed like he really wanted to help us but after a while I got the impression that he didn't care if my two-year-old ever walked right. He was supposed to order something to help my son's feet it's been 4 months and I haven't heard anything from him. Took him to another foot doctor for a second opinion within weeks we had twister cables ordered now we're just waiting for the shoes to be put on the cables. I really did like the secretary Cara my frustration isn't with her it's with the doctor. He did my two-year-old so dirty apparently he don't care if my son walks Right. I will not be returning to see him. Shame on you dr. Basch!!

She came up to us when we were looking through a drawer for a product we needed. She stated that only workers could open the drawers, even though there was no lock or anything on it. My mom made a comment about there being no lock and thanking her for letting us know, because we were never made aware that we couldn't open the drawers. In a very snarky/rude way, the worker said "Maybe you should apply and get a job here," implying that we could have access to the drawers if we worked there. She then walked away right after. We were speechless. For a grown women to make comments like that to other people. This place should start putting their workers in check. Just lost two customers.

Local Celebs Magazine: I had a meltdown on the Bath and Body Works in Rochester. (If you know, you know) Now I went into Bath and Body Works located in Lakeside Mall and they were awesome! Super friendly, super helpful and super knowledgeable. They me where things were, offered some ideas and sents, also pointed out what was on sale and what were the better deals. I loved it. The Rochester store, not even close!Another reason why I liked this store so much is that they were burning candles with the sents of Fall. Love it. The husband had to run out within 5 minutes but that was fine too. Lol. The sents can be a bit overwhelming at first but it is great. If you want to have a better shopping experience at Bath and Body Works, then shop at the one on Lakeside Mall. Also, you might find other stores you like and haven't visited for a while.

Lovely Endearment: Horrible. Store very crowded. Too many employees walking around asking the same question. "Are you looking for anything in particular". No. No 6 feet distancing what so ever. I'm addition, nothing against the employees, but the fragrance to 99% of their products smell very weak. Not like the old Bath &Body Works. Will stick to on-line ordering, for the old items.

Diane Bloch: It is sad that a great doctor like Charles Kissel does not have an office staff that shares his kindness and concern for his patients. I was turned away and denied treatment today because I "might have COVID" because I have muscle pains and fatigue, two of the symptoms on the long list for the COVID survey. Rather than check my temperature or discuss any other symptoms, the office manager sent me away and said I should come back when I feel better. I may never be able to see the doctor if one or two of those symptoms will keep me out. I have been seeing Doctor Kissel since a car accident in 1993, and for multiple surgeries.

My regular physician diagnosed a sprain but the pain continued so I saw Dr. K. he diagnosed my injury immediately and successfully treated me. Since this past September I've been to the Sterling Heights office for 2 separate injuries; I've been seen by Charles, Eric and Brian and they all were exceptional in treating me. The staff is pleasant and always helpful. In the past I've recommended Dr. Kissel to 3 people and I know that they have recommended him to others as well!

My only concern/complaint would be that when I called initially the week before to their Warren office, was told they had made me an appt for 10:30 a.m. on April 3 at this office (Troy/Sterling Hgts) but, when I arrived there after driving ALL the way down from Lake Orion area, the Receptionist informed me that they somehow messed up at the other and I had no appointment 😞 which was very disappointing indeed. Thankfully, I was able to go meet a friend in Troy earlier than planned for lunch but would highly rrcommend that they figure out a way to better enter or confirm appts in their software system..

Chet Miller: The staff is kind and friendly. Dr. Brian Kissel is a good man and a great doctor.

Nancy Mc Mahon: Office is nice, well decorated. Removal of ingrown toenail was standard. I called about the follow up appt, Receptionist said i would not be charged, but I was charged for a 3 minute appt. Very disappointed reaction from the staff. Manager said I was responsible, I said staff should give patients correct information. I paid the bill. i need not only a good doctor, but a responsible DR and office.

Kimberly Schultz: My daughter came in with a really bad inpacted sliver. Kristy was working the front desk at the time and she was amazing!!! She was able to get us seen same day we called and even came into the room to help comfort my daughter who was very scared at the time. The entire staff was amazing but Kristy is definetly a true asset to this already wonderful practice!! @bindi you must have misunderstood her "attitude".

Gina Lobes: I attend the Sterling Heights location. The staff is friendly, and the location is ideal, it is just weird how you can’t get in and out quickly, especially when it does not seem busy. I am not displeased, nor am I super impressed.They could do more, like offer alternative modalities in conjunction with their treatments. I mean, they will give you a handout on stretches and exercises, or a prescription for PT, but a good fascial stretch can alleviate foot and calf pain right away. It is painful in the moment, but less painful than a cortisone shot in the foot. (I understand that insurance might be the other reason, but if more places offer alternative treatment and get results, maybe it would be covered). I don’t think stretches would be out of their scope of practice, especially if someone has intermittent plantar fasciitis. And the orthotics, they swear are the best out there. They don’t look like the best. They are expensive. I just hate how I get a blister sometimes because they only do the orthotic up to below the ball of the big toe. The orthotics work, but the materials they use look very dated. They will update them for free, but I wish there was a better material than the white adhesive foam.Again, they provide what I need and are friendly.The waiting room and office are always clean. The exam room is clean and minimal. Billing is great. They can put you on a payment plan if you need it, and they don’t send you to collections after 1 late bill.If location and staff and coverage is all you need, they are great, if you want cutting edge and pioneering, then look somewhere else. I will still go here, until I find something near me that has the other modalities and better orthotics. Dr. Patterson is my favorite.

I haven’t found this in the multiple podiatrists I’ve seen beforehand. There’s some podiatrists with awful bed side manner out there, trust me. Feeling thankful and relieved today. Hopefully this toe is finally fixed :D

Les Lord: I have been under the care of Dr Patterson DPM for three years. I received treatment for a hairline fracture without surgery! I also got care for callouses between two toes with a quick recovery from in office surgery. I did not experience any pain during and after the procedures. Pain medication was prescribed but none was taken. An ingrown toenail was removed and wore my gym shoes home without missing work.The staff hasbeen phenomenally professional in all my vists. I receive toenail trimming every 2 months. I look forward to all my visits!

The office assured me that I would be happy with anybody else on staff. How right they were. I met with Dr. Hosey and was pleased with his care and concern about my ankle problem. He immediately put me at ease, listening to what I had to say and giving me some very sound advice. The very first thing he did was check my inserts and took care of revising them to make them a little firmer. I was definitely pleased with the services I received and I would highly recommend Hosey and Murphy Foot and Ankle Centers.
