Karen Kahn: Have used Mr Gas for my food trucks multiple times over the years. Recommended them over and over through the Metro Detroit food truck groups. Now find out they won't work on trucks. Didn't even reach out to the loyal customers that used them for years to let us know of the change. Very disappointed.

Jeremy Damaske: The Mr. Gas crew is amazing. They have come at the drop of a dime on several occasions to fix our Bakers Pride deck ovens at my pizza place. They always have the part and helpful on information and just overall friendly and pleasant people to be around and to do business with.

Matthew Lange: I own a catering company in Royal Oak and my only convection oven went down in the middle of several holiday parties. I spoke with a pleasant woman who answered the phone at Mr. Gas on the morning of 12/19/14 to arrange a service call. She assured me she could get someone out there that day, even mentioning that I was lucky since they've been very busy this holiday season but there was nothing going on that day yet, so it would not be a problem. I left for an off-site lunch event at which I was cooking, trusting that the service tech they sent could meet with my kitchen manager and discuss possible repairs asap. I get a voicemail from Carl (who I assume is the owner) stating that since the problem was with an electrical heating element, it was a "can of worms I didn't want to open" and he couldn't help me. The guy didn't even come out for a service call, he just decided that he didn't want to come out based on a second hand conversation of the issue with his office admin. So, I call him when done with my event and he actually told me as an excuse while chuckling, that they were completely swamped that day and couldn't do it anyway. When I told him the woman specifically told me they were not busy that day, he just chuckled again and said "it's a can of worms I just don't want to get into." and to call someone else. It clearly says on the Mr. Gas website that they service all commercial kitchen equipment, including electrical. It's amazing to me as a business owner that another business owner would just flat-out refuse a service call. If I refused catering business just because I didn't feel like doing it, my company would just go under. I guess if you operate a somewhat niche market like commercial oven repair, you can do whatever you want. I recommend anyone reading this, find another company to do business with - just on general principle. I will be telling all of my considerable contacts in this industry about this worthless company as well.

Andrea Lobsinger: Mr. Gas Inc is an amazing company run by hard-working individuals. I had some issues with my commercial oven and they had a variety of parts I could choose from. Their service men were friendly and helped fix the problem! Go to them if you need something!

Sharon McClellan: Our gas was turned off due to a leak at the meter. We were not called, just a notice was left. Called to have gas turned back on and pilots relit. Called 3 times. They can’t tell me when someone will be out. No heat, no hot water. Temp in house down to 63 and still nothing from them. Good thing there are no elderly or babies living in my house. They really don’t seem to care.

Ellen Rouleau: They shut the gas off with no warning to repair or replace meters on a 35 degree day. Then tell you to call to have it turned back on and give you an 8 hour window when they'll be there.

Seriously they think that the only thing people have to do in their life is wait for them to show up. Then they show up on a day that wasn't scheduled, and leave a note on the door that says NO ONE WAS HOME, CALL TO RESCHEDULE....asked 5 different customer service reps the same question, got 5 different answers. Finally asked to speak to a manager, he was about as useful as a toothache in a candy factory. Had an excuse for everything I said....hung up on me when I called him out. As a former CSR manager he realized I knew how to play the game, I finally told him to cancel my service order, and when the I smell GAS I'LL call back then maybe they will leave the restaurant and come out.Piss poor service.Then to top it off my son tries to pay the bill on line, and it wont let him...I have to call and give authorization,,,,HELLO I DID THAT ON A COUPLE OF MY PHONE CALLS ALREADY..,GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR A** and do your job correctly.

Emily Cencioni: I called over 50 times. No answer ever. Sometimes you get a voice message that says, "the person you are trying to call cannot be reached, please call again later, message 2366." Then it hangs up. Sometimes it sounds like they pick up, but it just clicks over and keeps ringing. Sometimes, I get an old school busy signal. Don't worry, Consumer Energy, I'm sure my two year old won't need heat or anything this upcoming winter. I don't even know how this place is still open. I actually really don't know IF they are open. I mean, seriously, what kind of service is this where you can never get through??? If zero stars was an option, that's what they would have got. But I had to give a minimum one to write a review. If I had a choice, they would have negative stars. I spent a grand total of 2.5 hrs trying to call, and never reached a representative. They don't even have a prompt system to pick what you are calling for. How awful!! Looks like I'm getting all my energy through DTE. Never again.
