Maryteres Mikhou: The Food was amazing I ordered take out today and I got chicken tenders and fries and they were so good. I got a Green salad as well and I added chicken on it and they added a lot of chicken it was amazing. My dad got a Gyro platter and he got the lemon rice soup with it and he said it was so fresh. We will be coming back here and recommending it to all my friends and family. Melanie Boling: When I come into the area for work, this will be the only place I get my Mediterranean food. I did order from somewhere else after ordering from here and that was a mistake. The Greek salad with gyro is my fave with the perfect proportion of ingredients. The pink Greek dressing is different but very good. Can't go wrong with this restaurant!

Nick Ciantro: I have a horrible palate. I'm the guy who actually prefers his food overcooked and dry. When I eat chicken I want it borderline burnt. I have been asked to leave (or chosen to leave) very expensive stake houses 4 times in my life because the chefs refused to cook my steak the way I want it. Point being I am as far from a food critic as you can get, except when it comes to Lentil Soup. I love lentil soup and I have tried them all. These guys have by far one of the best lentil soups I have ever had. Luckily for me Chickpea Kitchen is my pregnant wife's favorite craving so I am very confident we will be their number one customers for the foreseeable future. Their wraps are amazing as well. My wife has a very good food palate and she can vouch for how amazing the rest of their food is. Great atmosphere and every time I have been there the staff has been great as well. Keeping in mind that I am a stickler when it comes to quality of service from any business ..... Even if they had the rudest employees in the world and overcharged me, you still wouldn't be able to keep me away from their lentil soup! No joke, I've had the soup for both lunch and dinner for the last two days and I still want more. :-)

Shi: It’s clear from so many reviews that the food is both tasty and healthy…but…I’d like to mention an issue that I personally faced. Initially, I liked the food so much that I’d eat from here very frequently. But in 3-4 months I realised that every time I have it now, my sensitive teeth get extra sensitive. I tried it without everything that could have caused such severe sensitivity but no difference. I don’t blame the food though.And another thing that I would like to add is that, a couple of times, when I ordered pita roll, it wasn’t warm enough, or rather unevenly warm, and I didn’t even find the store busy enough at those points. I think this is something they should take care of.I hope I find out what exactly causes such sensitivity, and then Chickpea will be my go-to restaurant again!!!

Chris Pezeshki: The food is really below average. I had the falafel mixed, baja chicken, crispy chicken, fries, onion rings, and Baghdad burger. The burger and fries were the only edible items. Everything else had no flavor and was too oily. Even the onion rings were subpar. The onion rings are doughy and oily with almost no onion flavor.

Very fulfilling and they come in a good portion. This time I tried the "build your meal" with yellow rice, feta cheese, black olives, house dressing and beef shawarma. It was soooo good. I'm super picky with rice but these guys did it great. The place is not expensive at all. You really get what you pay for & more. The bowl size actually surprised me. I've gone to places where they give you a small cup but not here. The owner is so nice as well. He gave us baklava which was amazing. Service is 10/10. Definitely on my favorites list!!!

Jeff Kelley: Food is usually great. Service can be an issue during peak times as they often have only one person covering the register as well as serving eat-in customers. My only real knock on the place is calling in carry out. You call in and order, they tell you 15 minutes. You show up 15 minutes later and they haven't started your order. This happened to me 3 times in a row and I stopped ordering from them.

Ordered a platter for 2 and extra potato curry sauce. When I got there they charged 36 even. I asked why, I was told by the woman and man who are always at the register that “its taxes honey.” Platter cost 29.99, was told the extra sauce was $3, that would make tax 1.97. That’s 34.96 by my math but I guess a dollar is worth their reputation. Then for the third time in a row, this exact situation has happened all 3 times I’ve been here, they charged my card .36 and said they needed to run again. Look later and it charged 1.36. A time previous my husband was told on the phone Garlic sauce is $3. I get there and she tries to charge me $5! Shady all around, and the food isn’t even good like it was when I went the first time. Much smaller amount for a lot more cost, old and reheated and super stale hard pita bread instead of the bread the menu states you get. Will never return. There’s way too many places in the area to give money too.
