lizzie dizzle: I literally brought a picnic basket and sat by the river! What a beautiful place! I walked for about 10 minutes through the trails and instantly found a nice place to relax. I saw some benches on my walk too. I am sure there's lots more to explore, so I can't wait to come back. The sun was shining so warm and pretty through the trees. I could hear woodpeckers and see animal footprints! Definitely worth checking out!

Magnolia Park: what do users think?
nikolai belinski: bruh who reviewing a park bruh
dannygojcaj: Great park but it would be awesome if there was a soccer field.
Darcie: It's always clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. There is plenty of space for many people, and the hill makes it great for winter sledding!
Maryanna Paruk: This is a beautiful park being ruined by people walking dogs & not picking up after them. Especially people walking large dogs. The piles are huge and there are many of them. I walk my dog there & always pick up after her. I can't relax when walking my dog anymore because I constantly have to be on the look out for dog poo piles.
D'antoine Godskid: It ok
Bernie Davis: Fast service
Shawna Brown: Love this park! Lots of shade, plastic playscape, woodchips. 4 swings, 2 normal, 1 infant and 1 highback harness swing. Tons of land with trees surrounding the playscape (perfect to build fairy forts and such). Tons of green space to fly kites and a little hill that we sled on in the winter! There is also a paved trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. No restrooms though- only reason it got 4 stars
Tamara Cheek: Playground: Yes Public restrooms: Yes Picnic tables: Yes Barbecue grills: YesMore
Jabed Choudhury: Very nice basketball rims, very kid friendly also
Jenny Davis: Get place to chill
Claude Greiner: Great place to relax and have fun
Josiah: Nice renovated basketball court, and newly paved blacktop trail!

Adnoral McKenzie: Nice, clean and safe park.
John julie Wyckhouse: Excellent sledding
Stephanie: No parking access to this park and if you have little ones this park doesn't serve them. Slides are way up on another level requiring advanced climbing. No bathrooms near.
Angela Ridgeway-Patterson: Walking trail is 1/3 mile around. 3 laps is a mile. Watch out for aggressive squirrel. Somebody must be feeding them. Don't feed the squirrels!!!
Adriana V: I love the playground here and the big trees lol
Baraa Hashim: Its good but it needs some lights especially for the tennis..
Michele Slepski: Great place to go after Mass!
Kristin Terry: Quiet. Nice park. It has a (sorry if this isnt the correct term) special needs swing. Which is great that more children can be included in the fun!

Inwood Hiking Trails: what do users think?
J A: I wanted to spend more time here then I had time for will definitely be going back
Belle McDonald: Very nice trails. Easy walk and beautiful scenery. Great trail for the whole family
Fatto Catto: Lovely trails with occasional wildlife about. Please follow seasonal guidelines of trail closures to allow some space for the returning eagles!
Rachid William: Great trails and everyone loves seeing the beautiful scenery.
Will L. Flemming: Very nice trails. Easy walk and beautiful scenery.
Todd Merritt: Never busy, which is great. Can be overgrown at times, though that's not always a negative. Watch out for ticks!
Paul Sielinsky: Great trails. Usually not crowded.Playground: Nope, if your looking for a playground, picnic area or restrooms, this is not the park for you.Restrooms: Nope. None. Nada.Dog-friendliness: Yes, great place to take your pup.Picnic area: Nope. Not here.
Tracy Garbacz: Maybe better to use it during the fall to avoid ticks. Overall however, I was not impressed by the majority of the Inwood trails. They were basically overgrown two tracks. The Northern section runs parallel to some power lines which isn't exactly scenic. It was quiet, mostly because no one was at the gun range and the marsh overlook was nice. I wouldn't do this trail in the summer due to ticks and so many spots being exposed to the sun.
Bruce McCallister: One of my favorite places to walk.
Michael McCormick: Beware of ticks!! Went here may 9 2022. Hiked around fully clothed and came home with a hitchhiker. Just a dog tick so not too worried. Part of a trail is closed february to july for eagle nesting season. The "blue loop" on the east side of the park has a bridge that was taken out. There are some downed trees that can act as a bridge but no posted plans of replacing the bridge. Other than that it was very pretty and not crowded. Cool trails. White pines and hiking trails around a small lake and a river. It is part of stony creek metro park and there is a pass required but you might be able to get away without the pass because of the rustic parking and considerable distance from the park office.
A rare FISH: Trails to hike
Nicole Morgia: Beautiful, extremely rustic trail. We saw a deer, turtle and beautiful birds. However, the experience was marred by the ticks we all left with. We have since found some that hitched a ride in the car too. Now everytime I am in the car I am a little freaked out! All appeared to be dog ticks versus black-legged ticks but still! Ick! They need to work on this problem. Maybe relocate some possums or skunks there to help control the porblem. We sll had long pants and shirts on and they still found a way to get under our clothes and hid in our hair! Be careful! If bringing your dog(s), make certain you check them too!
Michael Kolodziej: I really enjoy hiking here, especially in the fall and winter. There's a good chance you'll see an eagle here
Martha Andritsis: It's a beautiful trail, of what we could walk. A large portion was temp. closed for wildlife. Our dogs had a blast and was tired by the end of the trail. We ended up picking off 5 ticks on the way home, so just be careful.
Hugh Wambach: Amazing, product our parks.
Ro Be: Great hike through the woods and pines. Easy trail with lots of different loops and mild elevation changes.
Amy Duncan: So peaceful here
Terra M. Judson: I love the beautiful nature out here!!!!
Gwendolyn Bammel: Well maintained. Only downside was that the trails are SO wide that it doesn't feel like you're walking in the woods.
Carolyn Martin: Beautiful fall colors. Lost my keys and a wonderful couple gave them to my daughter while I was out retracing my steps. Thank you to the Good Samaritans and May God Bless you tenfold!!!!!
Dan Potter: Very peaceful, well kept!

Beaver Creek Park: what do users think?
Md Islam: nice
john Cole: My children love itRestrooms: There are no restrooms at this park.
Luisa Langosh: There's an extra lrg play area for all, with the newest & neatest play features. The smaller toddler playset & huge sandbox, Perfect. Super outdoor play destination. Now get outside and play!
Theresa: Nice enough setting, but the city/county hasn't put much money or thought into this place. It's a paved oval path with a few trees and grass. Other than walking that boring, artificial path, it doesn't offer any reason to linger and enjoy nature. Needs more benches and picnic tables, at minimum. I was having a chat with a friend via text, but had to stand the whole time. Maybe clear a view of water? Add native plants? A few community garden plots? A pavilion for a group to meet? A little free library? Informational kiosks to educate about environmental issues or history? Horseshoe pits? Sand volleyball? Give this place a theme or purpose! It could do more to enrich the lives of residents.
Shams Chowdhury: Small nice park for walking and kids playing.
Kimberly Sabo: love to walk this park....it is so nice!
Javier Contesse: Great little neighborhood park, good for running laps, tennis, baseball, open field, a large sandbox, an infant playground, a 3-5 yo playground, and my favorite; the story walk! Sterling Heights Public Library setup a storybook split up in stations to motivate walkers (and their kids!) to do the whole loop while reading a book. My kids preferred doing the story walk before the hitting the playground! Definitely coming back!
Rich Mangay-ayam: Playground: YesMore
Debbie Vercellone: Clean, nice well maintained playscapes, not too crowded. Our 18 month old granddaughter had a great time.
Pinky Promise: Love it right in my neighborhood
Muhammad Sher: less busy, which is good
SW89 **: Nice park. Good for all ages. Kept up well.
Tony Leja: Very nice quiet and calming park. Nice blacktop path for walking and bike riding. Not very long though. Couple nice benches to sit on
patrick H: So peaceful and unfortunately only had 10 short minutes to relax and enjoy.
Cheri Johnson: Would have been nice to have a bathroom
Tamanna Jahan: Bleh .. it's a park . What else to say about it lol it's a park
Jojin Johnson: Awesome place for spending some time in the evening with kids..!
Victoria Albayaty: Kids loved it. The hill is awesome and they love rolling down! I love the book walk! It is a creative way to interact with your kids while getting them moving.
yeeforce: Jabrony moment
Greg Sechler: Nice place to walk. Would have given 5 stars but sometimes there are young couples "sleeping" in a hammock just outside of the parking lot when you pull in.
Mark Donaldson: Nice clean simple park. Quiet most of the time in a nice location. Path is wide and smooth asphalt. A loop is about 1/3 of a mile with some very minor elevation change. A great park for the neighborhoods in the area.

River Bends Park: what do users think?
Cindie Sassons (girlbikelife.com): Great little park with good facilities and fun MTB trails
Alan “Mr_Alanardo” Milenbaugh: Kid friendly play places, comprehensive disc golf courses. Pretty clean and a little swampy this time of year.
kodey boreo: Great park with lots of options for walking relaxing or anything else you want to do at a park. They also have a great disc golf course with a variety of hole types.
John Lavelanet: The main entrance has a separate nature area to the left, I didn't get a chance to check it our since they were not open at the time. There are quite a few baseball fields, a few playgrounds for kids. There is a long paved walking area around the park. There is an archery area, separate from th2 other areas of the park, and what appears to be a dirt bike challenge area for training. Beyond that, there is a gravel walkway that meanders behind the park, which takes you to th we river. Once near the river, there are extensive disk freebie stations. There are benches well spaced apart for resting and trails along the river. The park is well maintained, and I saw employees emptying the trash cans from the weekend.Restrooms: Clean and well maintained.Picnic area: Typical benches.
Trevor Wentzel: Clean and free. Huge.
Lori Larson: Nice park with 3 playgrounds, disc golf and trails.
kathy weinberg: Playground: Good place to take the kids or just go sit and have lunch
evan goike: Great course with 27 holes. Watch out for ticks though. They have started to take better care of the course.
Shelby: So many trails! I had a lovely time exploring this park. I live over 40 minutes away but it’s 100% worth the drive. I can’t wait to go back!
M. LD: First visit to River Bends after hearing how nice the bike trails are here. Finally had a chance to use my Trek Marlin for what it is designed for. The trails are every bit as nice and maintained as described. Definitely will visit again next time I'm in the area.
Matthew Rice: Best park to visit that's free in the area. Great bike trails and walking path. We always ser deer, turtles, and every other kind of animal. Peaceful with virtually traffic noise. Also has other Great resources like the skate park and shooting range.
Nitty Gritty Mama: This park has an absolutely genius layout. Three separate play structures and one wheelchair friendly playground. What I like about this park is there is actual shade from big beautiful trees! It's an absolute joy to come here in the hot summer. Parking is terrific. You can pull right up to the play structure if needed. There are tons of bike trails too, dirt AND pavement. so much to do at river bends!Playground: Playground is great for all ages. The smaller ones on the west side of the park are best for younger kids.
Mike Van Proeyen: Always a good dog walk
Manuel Alvarez (Chapaboy): Great place for a walk, bike ride, kayak enjoy a good day in the outdoors
Laura Breed: River Bends Park a great place for a photo shoot, picnic. I love this place.
Alice Henault: River Bends Park has an amazing Disc Golf course, great biking trails, off road trails. It mostly follows the river so you get a nice scenic water view.
Eric Rose: Great park, rivers are a little too bendy for my taste thought. Please make the river less bendy.
Zach A: Good fun for winter or summer ! Been going for years ! Back in my mom and dad's day they use to have little hippie concerts here! ALOT OF UNTOLD HISTORY!
Julian: Great park. Love walking my dog here, and he seems to enjoy it even more than I do.
Dianne Potter: Playground: Love this park!

Nena: Grandkids love this park & the story along the path is perfect.
rebfish1998: Nice and newly renovated playground. Nice walking trail around the perimeter. For the most part, it's dog friendly. Just be advised that there is a story book around the walking track that can be a pain for dogs on leashes. Be advised that there are no restrooms and no places nearby with restrooms.
