Brooke Drinkwater: I went to this school my junior year of highschool (2016-2017). My experience was terrible. I had just moved to michigan that year. Since the school is so big and there are so many students, finding friends is beyond difficult if you dont already have any. The teachers were also awful. my math teacher, who teaches several different math classes there, didn't know how to teach, at all. and alot of students agree. his tests and quizzes very rarely had to do with what he taught in class. My english teacher was one of the worst teachers i have ever had in my life. She was strict, and made things exceptionally difficult on purpose. She told us at the end of the year that she made the class so hard so that we could really only get C's in her class unless we worked ourselves to death. She also accused us of being stupid because nobody wanted to answer the bellringer the first week of class. Also a ton of unnecessary busywork. The only good teacher i had was Mrs.Schade. I dont know how i would have survived that year without her. Also WCSPA is not all its cracked up to be. The dance teacher called me "weighed down" during my dance final and wouldnt be reasonable about setting up a meeting to talk about it. anyways i transferred schools the next year because this school was so bad.

I went to Willow Woods Elementary and I went there for only one year. For teens that's only going into 9th grade and that's going to Sterling Heights High School. I'm going to Red Oaks on August 11th. 2 days after my birthday ( August 9th)

I disliked it Alot, the supportive staff was great and caring (Counseling and TC services) but upper administration and super attendant has no idea what they are doing half of the time. Not to mention they care more about their ACT scores and scores on US Daily News rather than the students themselves.Hint for alot of people. If your in the troy area, go to Athens. If your near SHHS, go to Stevenson. Much better choices and quality of life for their students.

Ryan Ranocchini: Visited for wrestling tournamentment. The facilities are an adequate venue for this kind of event. Glad there are enough stands in the main gym. The aux gym seating is limited.

Sousa Pastewski: Im not going to lie, this school really isnt that great. I loved all of the extra curriculum I was apart of, but some of the teachers made it misrable to go here. Like it seems to be pretty clear that some teachers and staff were only there because of the paycheck. But on the flip side some of the teachers were wonderful and clearly cared for the students, and thats really the only reason this review isnt one star.

And When Its Time To Go Home At 2:00Pm. They Were Telling Me 2 Times To Hurry Up. I Told Them To Wait 2 Times By Serious Tone. And They Were Not Listening. I Told Them Just Wait. And They Listened. Those 2 Staffs Are Not Patient. And They Are Rude. I Got Suspended. For Fighting With A Student. And I Was Trying to Defend myself And When I Got Home My Face Was All Red. I Do Not Recommend. To Take Your Child Here.

She is not suppose to be in the educational field and not suppose to deal with kids at all!!!!!I have lots of friends that are complaining from her.she thinks that she is strict but what she doesn’t know that she is disrespectful and is not related to educational and teaching!!!!
Lejla Hidic: If there is an option I would rate your nonfunctional school 0 stars. Principal Charara is unprofessional person without ability skills for problem solving. To own " Higher Education diploma " doesnt mean much without abilities to have a critical thinking and being able to work with parents on solution of any kind of issues to be solved and resolved in best possible way for the students in the school. School electronic devices are not protected to prevent kids to access unwanted content online. One of my kid's teachers in the 3rd grade was not certified to teach and my son in new school is way behind the school curriculum.

Just Me: The district has a no nepotism policy but they hire people who are related anyway. Way too much staff drama and less focus on education. No way I would allow my child to attend UCS. Don’t recommend working for UCS either, unless you’re related to someone and like drama. They also don’t provide reasonable accommodation that is required by law.
