Matt C: I've been with Sterling Insurance since 2018, and have been pretty happy with them. They have for the most part been pretty reliable. The only problems I've had over the years is every time my policy is up for renewal I haven't gotten properly notified ahead of time about my policy changes during the renewal which usually consists of the price going up. During my renewal in 2022 I had an extremely frustrating situation with the department manager not giving me the correct pricing and changing the price on me 2+ times during the renewal.Fast forward to 2023, my renewal is up again. I was connected to Barbara Penning who assisted me with fixing my policy to a better price. She was honest and didn't make it confusing for me as sometimes insurance lingo can be confusing to process. She found me a better plan with Citizens and made my renewal experience a lot less stressful. Better yet, she even lowered my new policy to be cheaper than my 2022 pricing. I cant say enough good things about how helpful Barbara was for me. Out of everyone I've worked with at Sterling Insurance over the years Barbara Penning has been THE best. Last year I would have given Sterling Insurance a 2-3 star review, but because of Barbara I am giving Sterling a 5 star review.

This afternoon i Received The best customer service yet,From agent Barbara Penning From the Sterling insurance group. She was able to adjust my rate Saving me hundreds. I can't say enough about Progressive insurance But Barbara And the people at the Stirling insurance group Really keep up with that Tradition.

Devon Tucker: Terrible customer service. I could never reach my agent, until i decided to cancel, and then magically she returned my call. My rates have gone up since the big insurance reform, until I left and found a much better rate on my own. Upon trying to cancel my insurance I was told I needed to sign something to cancel, but I never received it through my email, which is weird because all my bills and other important documentation came through my email, but suddenly when I wanted to cancel, I never received my documents. That place is a joke. Never again.
MELISSA BARANSKI: I had a home and auto policies for 13 years and my premiums went up every single year year despite having never gotten a ticket, in an accident or made any claims. When I called to check on why the woman who answered the phone said "That's the best you're gonna get". Funny how on my own I'm saving $1000 a year for the exact same coverage!!

Roy Austin: I have been a customer of Sterling Insurance for about three years. They have always been quick to help and resolve any issues i may have had. Not a big fan of their automated answering service though. Although it has been improved lately and was easier getting through.

The Hohlbeins: I've been trying to contact my adjuster for the last two weeks with no luck. Every time I call it rings and rings then goes to voicemail. I've left multiple messages without any return call. I just called and was being connected to my adjuster and was hung up on. Very unprofessional!!! Once my issue is resolved with my car I will be changing insurance companies.
