Kelsey D: I did 6 classes, the first one was free and then I bought the 5 for $15 new student pass. Using my pass on the MindBody app only showed certain classes available and they were basically all of the virtual ones which I didn't want to do because it's more relaxing when you're actually in the room. I had to go to the actual website each time and sign up for my classes that way so I could use my pass. Not a whole bunch of classes are offered, mainly they're for beginners. I was fine with this because I'm just starting to get back into yoga again and it's walking distance from my house. All of the classes I've taken have had 1-2 other students in the class besides me. I like this because since I'm just getting started again, I've been a little nervous about how well I'm able to follow along. This might not be the best place for people who are further along in their yoga practice, but it works out well for me for the time being.
Leisl Novák: Nice place to get relax and refresh
Sarah Merrifield: This is the worst studio I have been to in the area. I only went to 3 classes, and disliked two of the teachers. One of them put her hands on me and other students without asking consent and when I asked her to ask me first she acted so shocked and incredibly rude for the rest of the class. The other teacher did not seem to have a lot of experience and was talking to her friends most of the time before class and ignoring everyone else. She also did not seem to know a lot about yoga sequencing as the class did not flow very well. The only class I liked at this studio was the Buti yoga and I would only come to this in the future. The Buti teacher is friendly, knowledgeable, and creates well-planned out classes. Also, the class offerings at this studio are SO lacking. It's mostly basic yoga, and I don't understand how they stay in business mostly offering basic yoga. The class times did not work with my schedule, so I asked to extend my class pass and the owner was very rude with me on the phone and said "it was only a $15 pass..." as if I'm worth less than other customers because I paid the new student special. I did not feel like she cared if I came back again, and I didn't. I probably will never be back based on the unprofessional and ignorant behavior of the teachers and owner.
Patricia Griesbeck: I’ve tried a few places, but I really like this studio! I’m newer to yoga and this is a great fit😊
Melanie Sophia: I have only done yoga a short time on and off. I have done home workouts and I've also done the studio thing at 4 different places. UpDog Yoga has a very comfortable environment and I felt like it was a good fit right from this first visit. Other places I've done yoga felt cold or their atmosphere felt more of a competitive nature instead of a community. Jill, one of the owners, taught the basic class I took and I really liked her style of teaching. I'm excited for more classes at UpDog Yoga.
Alexander Neal: My family and I have been practicing and studying yoga here for a couple months now. Every experience has been pleasant and rewarding. The staff and teachers are incredibly friendly and very engaging in their lessons. The classroom is clean and comfortable also free of judgment. The studio offers a variety of different classes such as Yin and gentle yoga for helping beginners and those with health conditions but also providing classes for the experienced. As well as fun workshops for all to enjoy 👍The studio also provides other services like a private personal trainer. Meditation classes and zero gravity float tanks! 😱 Id recommend this studio especially to new people because they offer incredible deals. Like the choice of your 1st yoga class free or 5 classes for only 15$! Or Yoga mat rentals only being 1$ for everyone. So you really have nothing to lose but a lot to gain! Very satisfied UpDog Yoga keep up the great work! 👍.
