Mangiabevi Urban Italian: what do users think?
Nicole Vaxelaire: Fabulous experience. From the food, the wine, the dessert and an amazing bartender. Cheer
Jessie Harkins: Simply put, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The atmosphere is so charming and fun, and even though you're in an upscale restaurant , it has all the feels of being at home. Our server Diane could not have been any better. She was so sweet and attentive. We felt like we wanted to invite her out with us for a girls night out sometime! The food was to die for! You can taste the love that went into this cooking! And the chef/owner Mauro came out to meet us, and we heard some of the stories he had growing up in Italy. He explained that his lasagna, he makes once a year, the week of Mothers Day (which is why my sister's and Mom and I were there) which was his mothers recipe. We got a tour of the restaurant and even got to see the bee houses he keeps in the back. He was such a wonderful man. We all felt that we've known him forever! If you've not been to this establishment yet, please don't wait. You will be so happy you went.
Julie Cooper: Great food and service. I can't wait to go back.
Trevor Diehl: Absolutely amazing! Nothing short of incredible. Our waitress Kristen was phenomenal, and the food was out of this world!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Charcuterie Board …More
Connie Leannais: Attended an event in one of the private rooms. Really enjoyed ourselves. Food was delicious. The staff was wonderful and the obvious just made it perfect. I like the smaller tables of six people which gave us time to move around as well as sit and visit with other people at the party.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Rainman Cycleg: The best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. The prosciutto is amazing as well as the fresh bread. We ordered the steak Diane with spinach ravioli and everything was perfect. Chef Mauro has gone above and beyond to make everything perfect. Bravo!
G Money: 1st time dining there. Cozy quiet atmosphere. The food is excellent as is the service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about ALL of the dishes. A great wine selection to complement the variety of dishes. I will return.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Lamb Chops, Insalata Mista, Lamb Shank, Salmon Dinner ...More
Ashley Ciamillo: Alright, I don't often leave reviews but I had an expectation coming here and spent $380 for 4 people. We had numerous issues so here is the highlight:#1: Party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child). My 9 year old daughter asked for butter with the bread - we were confidently told they do NOT have butter. I asked if he could "double check" as bitter is a common kitchen ingredient. Answer still "nope".Just a few minutes pater they offered my dayghter "buttered noodles" as a kids meal option. We are Italian, we know that butter is not typical for bread, but even in Italy they will (reluctantly) give you butter when you ask.#2: Hard pieces in our appetizer. We ordered the sausage and peppers which was good, however there were 2 pieces of hard shell which I bit into, hurting my tooth. It looked like a broken piece of muscle shell of which there were no muscles in our appetizer. Not sure how it got in there...#3: Under-poured Vino! This is practically a crime for Italians. We payed a reasonable price of $12/glass but were each under-poured (all 3 glasses) by rhe waiter who brought the bottles to the table and attempted to eye each pour. We also got 1 refill each, in hopes it would be better or perhaps measured - but it was neither. We then decided to buy a bottle after we all discussed feeling under-poured. The waiter poured 3 glasses from our bottle which was less than 50% empty, validating that we were not crazy; we were definitely under-poured. By the way, we eat out multiple times per week. We drink a lot of wine and can eyeball a 5 oz vs. 6 oz. or 9 oz. pour very easily. If your waiters arent experts, give then a MEASURED POURER!!#4: The actual dinner was DELICIOUS. For the nearly $400 price tag and considering the above issues, we probably won't return but maybe one more time to see if it was just bad staff.
Jennifer W: Went to Mangiabevi for the first time after hearing rave reviews. 5 stars for food - We tried an appetizer and two of the entrees. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated (although I will say I found the pile of shredded carrots on my plate to be weird). Our server was attentive, and the prices were on par with Italian dining. The only thing left to be desired was bar service. Our table wasn’t ready at our reservation time so we were directed to the bar to get a drink and wait. However, when we went to go get a drink, we were very rudely told by the bartender that the only two seats open were reserved (even though no one had arrived to take those seats the entire time we were waiting for our table). He did tell us we could order a drink to take back to the lobby. We asked for a drink menu but he walked away and never made eye contact with us again. We were floored. The bar is quite small so it’s not like we got lost in the crowd. At that point we decided we didn’t want to tip him and waited to order drinks at our table. So, 0 stars for bar service.
Kellie Oxie: Beat calamari I’ve ever had!! Great for going out with your friends or for a date night:)
Michelle Kozyra: Delicious food and spectacular service
Jessica McMannus: You cannot dine here unless you have a reservation. My husband and I were in the area (from out of town) and wanted to stop in and have dinner. We were turned down at the door and told we needed a reservation. We explained to the host that we were from out of town and wanted to try the place out. We were happy to wait if needed. The host told us we still needed a reservation. Never suggested any accommodation or mentioned that the restaurant was full that evening which seemed very rude.
V Bachi: April 17, 2023 we had a reservation for 5:45 for my son’s birthday dinner. This was our very first time going to this restaurant. Let me start off by saying Dianne our waitress was phenomenal. Secondly, the owner, very friendly and very inviting and last, but not least Chef Mauro where do I start off the food that he made was out of this world and he personally came out and thanked us for coming in and asked us how our food was. Such a humble and kind man. Just to throw an extra out there He is a celebrity chef, and was aired on Food Network grudge match. if you are looking for authentic Italian food, please do not pass this place up you will not forget about it.

Tom Fallone: Hands down the best Italian food in the area by a mile..prices are above what other Italian restaurants are, but it's well worth it. The food is rich and incredible, always cooked perfectly. The owners and wait staff are always super friendly and accommodating. We've gone twice recently and can't wait to come back ASAP
Angela B.: This was our 2nd. time to MB and it's been great both times, good food and atmosphere. Very friendly staff.....Thanks Stefano, for the BD dessert. Will see you soon!

Jerald Putnam: Me and two friends went to get lunch, we had the dismay of being served by josh. They each got carbonara, and I opted for the unlimited soup salad and breadsticks. After 10 minutes we all got soup, after another 15 min he returned with my friends food, and ignored my empty plate and walked off without even addressing me at all. We had to call him over to refill my soup after another 15 minutes of being ignored. By this point me and both my friends were pretty upset with the service. If I dine here again and Josh is serving me, ill just walk out.
Alexis Sun: Was a great birthday dinner with my husband. Server was attentive and there was no wait time on a Thursday! Great service and excited to be coming back againVegetarian options: They have a really good eggplant parm. In my opinion needs more noodles hahaha but GREAT overall

Paul Izzi: Always the best pasta. Highly recommend.
Sol Rodriguez: Delicious food, my favorite in Shelby Township.
Joanne Doolin: Delicious, real Italian pasta. We ate in, but mostly take out to cook their unique ravioli and add their delicious sauces.
Maria Cook: Great food and friendly staff
Crystal Hooke: Tried pappardelle with mushroom cream sauce and also with the amatriciana sauce. Noodles are so fresh and tasty. Sauces both delicious. Customer service was even better. Will be back.
Chris Parker: Ordered based off reviews, owner was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we ordered was amazing, can't wait to order more.
T-roy: Hidden gem, great mom n pop homemade Italian restaurant.Looks like most of their business is to go, 3 and a half small tables, we were lucky to get a table.Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is very good, light sauce and no overpowering garlic flavor.Square ravioli, I believe they have 6 kinds, was very good as well.Definitely be back.
Shawn Stevenson: 5 stars isn't enough they need 10! A true Italian family restaurant with the best pasta I've had. Its truly made fresh the sauces are on point everything perfect and this was carry out with a 40 min drive home.
jack wynn: Can't believe it has been here for years, and this was our first visit! Hidden in the sw corner of 24 and shelby roads
J R: Great family place with homemade food
Darlene Bentley: I just had their lasagna & it’s delicious. I highly recommend it.
Amy S: Love the food and Love everyone there. Great people, Great food!!!!!!!!
Kiandra Arnold: I was excited to try this restaurant as it has been on my list of places to try for over a year . So my first time going was in October (2022). They didn’t have what I wanted on the menu but we got there kind of late close to closing time so I was understanding to why only baked pastas was available and didn’t make a big deal out of it. So we go back a couple weeks later and I am hoping I can get want I want this time (Paparadelle or Sunflower), however they still only had a limited menu with just the baked pasta. They say the pasta cooker is broken. The baked pastas are good but I don’t like red sauces and and would prefer a butter sauce like the butter sage sauce in sunflower or the mushroom sauce in paparadelle. As much as I wanted to make this a monthly go to place , I probably won’t be back until the full menu is available
Danielle P: The pasta is delicious; homemade and tender, and the owner is so kind. We’ve loved EVERYTHING we’ve ever ordered here.
