Associates In Psychiatry: what do users think?
Rob Long: Please listen to the negative Reviews ~Office Staff extremely rude and unhelpful. Response was Congrats the Dr has accepted you. Really, I was referred to you and I am paying for the services so why should I be thankful the Dr. Accepted me. It should be the other way around. They don't offer any counseling, they wont complete any paperwork (FMLA) if needed, and wont request any previous medical record from prior providers. Worse than Terrible at best. Seeking help should not cause more issues especially from those you are seeking help from. This Associates in Psychiatry is the poster child for why we are in a mental health crisis as a society.
caami daavis: If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with severe concerns about my mental health and all my concerns were ignored and dismissed. I was not taken seriously and made to feel like my issues were invalid. I will never go back. Save yourself the headache and get on a waitlist somewhere else.
Joshua Flitton: The receptionist was very nice and helpful.
Peter: With someone dealing with mental health, I would appreciate a call for an appointment, I’ve waited patiently and I haven’t heard back, I got a call for them about a month ago, they wanted my information and I gave them it. After I finished, the receptionist said I would hear back but I never did. Do not go here. I don’t think they care, someone could be very ill.
Christy Moceri: I've been with Dr. Anderson for years and she is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever had (which is saying a lot, I used to move around a lot.) She is highly knowledgeable about how the medications work and interact, and knows how they will potentially impact chronic illnesses and other medical conditions I have. She is always willing to tweak the meds or try new things if I am not feeling my best. I also really appreciate that she took my diagnosis of adult ADHD seriously and helped me find a medication that worked for me. Getting treatment for that has made a huge difference in my life.
Shibly U: I've been trying to get a hold of anyone here for past 2 months, even with my pcp referral. they never answer your call to schedule an appointment. I've tried multiple times, now I'm just going to see someone else. regardless of how well the doctors are, it should not be this difficult to reach the practice for an appointment.
Jillian LeMay (Jill): Incredibly unprofessional, they don’t take any time to review your history or previous diagnoses and will constantly disregard your diagnoses. When confronted about treating you for a condition you do not have, they tell you something along the lines of “X diagnosis is the same as Y diagnosis,” even if the conditions aren’t even remotely similar. Doctors also won’t remember what medications they have prescribed you, and they won’t outline the risks of taking certain medications.Eastwood clinic is exceptionally more professional and thorough.
Clarence Pokorske: Excellent care and follow-up.
Salina Pappas: Scammers. Take your money and no treatment stay clear of here!
Jeff Donegan: Had a dental emergency over the weekend and they got me in first thing Monday morning and had me taken care of by 10am. These guys are great.
Jess M: If you are seeking compassionate care, do not come here. I made an appointment to see Dr. Anderson. I was then bounced around from doctor to PA to different doctor, and it was made very unclear whether my appointment would be in person or telehealth. When I called (SEVERAL times) to ask for clarification I was sent to voicemail box after voicemail box. I left multiple voicemails in the week and a half leading up to my appointment. None of my calls were returned. FINALLY I got ahold of someone in the billing department who was able to answer some of my questions. However, she was incredibly rude and kept talking over me, getting louder and louder. Her explanation for the unanswered voicemails was that whoever was in charge of new patients was on vacation and that it “didn’t matter because appointments were booked out so far in advance anyway.” Really? The woman sent me into a full-blown panic attack and I had to hang up the phone. You’d expect a psychiatric office that deals with anxious people all the time to be kinder and little more welcoming to their patients. They should truly be ashamed of themselves.
Brent Wodtke: Went through the intake process for almost two months just for them to tell me that they weren't going to take me in as a patient. I am 7 days away from being out of my prescriptions and I have extinguished all of my options to get one month supplies from CVS, my primary care doctor, etc. Associates in Psychiatry knew all of this and ran me through the whole process before telling me that I was basically screwed. Now I guarantee that I will run out of my my medications with not enough left to wean myself off. Very ride and not caring.
Casey Finn: Very poor experience. Won’t treat me because I was prescribed Ativan. So I weaned myself off to get an appointment because I do not have a doctor, I have co-occurring disorders and need immediate care. I have been hospitalized 4 times this year and received ECT, and I NEED help. a member of the office staff told me that I needed to be off of Ativan for a few months before a doctor would even talk to me. I informed her I was going to end up at a crisis center or back in inpatient care without medical help, and she told me that “that just shows her that I’m going to those places to get Ativan, that I am not truly off of it”So I was denied medical care and accused of being a drug addict by a secretary. I have been on medication for my illness since i was 14, and have never abused it, or even taken a SIP of alcohol because of potential side effects. I take my treatment for my chronic illness very seriously and was treated like I was just going there because I want drugs that they do not even prescribe. This is what is wrong with Mental health treatment in America. We are treated like drug addicts and crazy people. Disgusting!
Terri Waller: Dr Anderson took care of me for at least 11 years I thought I was in the best hands out there until I quit walking for three years and devolved so many major Heath issues!! My doctors were telling me I’m slowly dieing taking all those pills she has me on! One pill on top another and they were killing me!! I have detoxed off all the meds she had me on I am walking and my mind is so much clearer!! I have never felt better!!People be aware of the meds she gives you.. take matters in your own hands don’t let these doctors ruin your life!! I would not have even gave you a one star but I had no choice!!
Ralph Phillippi: Dr. Anderson has been my savior. I have not been cured but my condition has been satisfied.
ST-SPEED 313: Office staff is very friendly. I have never had any issues with them. I am leaving a 3 star due to my experience with the Doctor I have seen. Please see specific doctor reviews.
C: Staff is always friendly and greet me with a smile. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Alexzander Nathan: Sometimes you wait. 2pm appt. Turns into a 2:30. Maybe its not the Dr. Fault, maybe its the patients appt's before that were late causing everyone after them to wait. Idk. Other than that the doctors are good. Remember this is not a therapists office, these guys just prescribe Viagra

Nucum Antonio DO: what do users think?
Tiffany Layne: Dr. Nucum is a compassionate, kind doctor who is a very knowledgeable and experienced diagnostician and is more than competent in treating psychiatric )disorders. I have had many negative experiences over the years, but have only been treated with kindness and respect with Dr.Nucum. Having had major depressive disorder, unipolar, and PTSD, there are countless combinations of SSRI medications I have tried, but Dr. Nucum would go down the list, figuring out what worked for me and what did not. He understands that not everyone is the same and not every psychiatric disorder is the same; what may work for you may not work for the next person. It is very difficult to find a good psychiatrist, but this is the doctor I would love to be able to keep as my lifetime psychiatrist; I would hate it if I had to start over with someone new.Dr. Nucum is prompt; if you have an appointment at 2:00, he will come to the waiting room to escort you to his office at 2:00. They do not over-book appointments, which is common at a lot of medical practices.

Dr. Alejandro A. Zapata, MD: what do users think?
Chanel Drake: THIS HAS RECENTLY BEEN EDITED. In the beginning...I never had a doctor who cared so much about my well-being and my life. I've been seeing him for over 18 years. He saved my life! I love him (in a professional way)! I wished he could practice forever. He's been doing this for a long time and I'm sure I'm not the only life that he's has saved. He could of managed his time better and not make people wait for an hour but I tolerated it because of how much he helped me.EDITING: May13 2022, Dr Zapata is losing it. Even though he helped me initially and was an incredible, Caring doctor, that all started to change over the last several years. He was always late yes but I felt it was because he didn't want to cut them off if they were in crisis. As time went on, he began to start going off on tangents about the insurance company's and how he's not able to practice the way he wants. Then he'd start on the politics of it. I would be in there for an hour listening to him rant. I should have started charging him. MY visits were for ME and suppose to be 15 min or 30 minute sessions. I started getting charge for an hour, when he was doing all the talking. Recently I tried to make an appointment and was told, BY HIS RECEPTIONIST, not HIM, that he's not seeing anyone who hasn't been vaccinated. I have to find another doctor. No letter. No phone call to say he's going to have to refer me to someone else. Just cut me out. No goodbye, No nothing. He just abandoned me and putting me into a deeper depression. He needs to retire as he's now doing more damage than good. Now I have to find another doctor, tell th my life story all over again and hope they care enough like he use to. It's time for him to get out of that line of work and find a therapist of his own.
Susan Masching: The most caring Doctor I have ever met. He is so understanding in all area’s of Mental Health issue’s.
Erin Wichmann (Erin Quinn): Best and nicest doctor I've ever met. He's very easy to talk to and is very wise, knowledgeable and caring. He has an easy atmosphere that is very relaxing and puts you at ease. I highly recommend him!

Anderson Nina MD: what do users think?
Sean Eppert: Dr Anderson and all of her staff are the best! Very Caring and Extremely helpful! Highly recommend!
Anna G: HORRIBLE. Don't even bother scrolling further and trust these reviews. Nina is cold, unprofessional, and truly not very knowledgeable.
Tami Couturier: Dr Anderson Excellen Doctor!!!!!! She a good listener and target your problem
Bree Marshall: Was trying to get help for myself and Dr. Nina Anderson DENIED me because I didn't disclose 3 medications I have that I'm not even taking. This is why so many people commit suicide. They get denied the help.
That's What I Said: Turned her back on my mother as she was spiraling into (what we now know was) dementia. Nina Anderson was callous and dismissive and I would never recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate, competent care.
Glenda Bruce: I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson's for some time now. I have nothing but good things to say :)
Alison Schlick: Dr. Anderson herself is very attentive, great at explaining the meds she prescribes, and provides a clear diagnosis. However, several members of her office staff are incredibly rude and have caused me to have panic attacks so I will never go back there again.
Timothy Kelly: Called on April 19th to make an appointment, after a referral from my family doctor. Answering service only. No one calls me back.

Dr. Hany Y. Mekhael, MD: what do users think?
D.E. R.: Horrible, will hold your refills hostage with for the smallest copay or missed appointment with no consideration to the side effects or stress or fear. Even with a valid reason. Will not prescribe medicines that work because "we don't prescribe those to people" likely because of the ongoing nationwide issues;however, what about us that could benefit. I highly recommend you find a different office.
Matt: They are the best in their field. I never had an issue here. Not a one size fits all it's trial and error with medicine. What may work for one, may not for another and so forth. If you want help they will help you find the right medication or a treatment plan.
Ashley Burkholder: Ms Allor has been a blessing to my son’s health and our family as a whole. She is quick to respond to concerns, listens patiently and without judgement, and did not give up on my son when things felt hopeless. Her knowledge in mental health, specifically pediatrics, is vast and I have felt very comfortable having her care for my son. Obtaining refills is a seamless process and usually issues only occur at the pharmacy or insurance level. She is also personable and easy to get along with, which makes seeing your provider enjoyable. We are so grateful for Ms. Allor. The office is easy to find and the staff is welcoming.
Zorica Babic-Wagner: They used to be decent, now they are horrible. I writing this review while I'm trying to find provider that can actually help me.
Alyssa Nardin: I had a therapist who did not help me one bit, she knew I forgot things easily and still didn’t help me keep track of appointments. They also charged me 75 everytime I missed an appointment, they also knew money was a big stressor for me! DONT GO HERE
Michael Slomka: I wish that I could give them zero stars.I recently found out that I was taken to collections by this office. Apparently my child was seen by the doctor while he was in the hospital a year ago. They have been sending bills to the wrong address though. I got a notice that my credit went down and that this bill was the cause of it. So I called the office and tried to pay the bill. The woman that worked there was rude and kept accusing me of yelling at her ( I never raised my voice) and being unreasonable (I was asking that they remove the mark from my credit score as an error). I finally gave up when she told me that she wasn't going to help me and just paid the bill. When I called to talk to the office manager, the woman who answered the phone didn't even bother to mute the phone before telling the office that I was rude and was going to be rude to her. The office manager just kept telling me that it wasn't their fault and that billing didn't answer to her, and that since my child was seen in the hospital, it had nothing to do with their office, even though the billing address was THEIR office. I have no idea if the doctor is any good, but the staff sure isn't.
Karim: Very good listener. Made me work on myself. I trust him with my most private and intimate information.
Samantha Foran: My daughter trusts him and so do we. Great with teenagers.
Daniel Rakowski: Our children have been seeing Dr Mekhael for several years after bouncing through several local psychiatry practices. He's friendly, kind, thorough, patient and never rushes us through our appointments. Highly recommended!
Mx Hlw: He didn't really listen to me when I saw him, he was focused more on what my aunt thoughs about my Medical situation rather than listening to me explaining my symptoms .
M M: I was referred to Dr. Mekhael and when I called to make an appointment, they told me I’d first see the nurse practitioner, Jean and then 3-4 weeks later I’d meet Dr. Mekhael. This is a little backwards from what I’ve previously experienced but I thought I would at least try it because I heard good things about him. I didn’t even end up meeting with Dr. Mekhael because Jean was so awful. It was my first time on antidepressants and everyone knows it takes a while to find the one best for you. Jean acted like I should automatically just accept all of the horrible side effects that come with each and acted annoyed when I called to ask to switch to another. She also acted like I was making it up when I told her Lexapro gave me a panic attack (even though it is a very common side effect with this med!) and just prescribed me benzos. At this point I just gave up with this office and have been searching for a new psychiatrist. Someone so uncaring shouldn’t be working in the mental health field.
BlackRock: Thanks.
Youssef Farag: The best psychiatrist. He has wide knowledge of different cultures. He's a good listener and a perfect advisor
David Browning: Warm, kind, compassionate and caring. He is a pleasure to work with.
dan mezzapelle: I’ve seen Dr. Mekhael for a number of years and have been completely satisfied. I’ve seen other psychologists in the past, however, nobody has been able to get me on a level playing field. I have never felt so well balance. He is rigid with following proper legal and ethical guildlines. I know I tried short cuts, it doesn’t work with him. He’s earned my respect and recommend him highly. -Dan M
Erica Toutant: This is by far, the WORST psychiatrist I've ever been to. I would give them negative stars, if possible. They refused to refill my prescription for over 10 days. Withdrawing from that medication, especially cold turkey, can kill someone. I told her "I can't go over 10 days without my pills...I could die." and she says "Well I suggest you go to the ER and detox there because we're not comfortable writing you the prescription"They could get into serious legal trouble. This is my first time in this office, I haven't even seen Dr. Mekhael yet.So they make you pay $50 to "hold" your first appointment. After the appointment, they're supposed to give you the $50 back... which I still haven't received, 2 weeks later.I had an appointment on the 10th of August, they called me to reschedule for September 14th. I'm sorry, but if you cancel the appointment, you get the person in as soon as you can, not over a month later. I will NEVER come back to this place. If you care about your mental health, avoid this place like the plague. They don't care about their patients.
Ruth V.: My son was a patient of Dr. Mekhael for several years...Dr. Mekhael brought him the farthest in treatment that he has ever been! He figured out things that no other Doctor understood about my son such as a medication that he should not take. Thank you so much Doctor!!!!

Dr. David J. Villanueva, MD: what do users think?
Paige L: Doctor David is good but there's two receptionist/front desk personnel. One is super nice. The other one is one of the most rude, disgraceful excuses for a receptionist. Whenever I've called, I am consistently met with the same attitude from her. She always has a 'can't-be-bothered' attitude with you for just asking basic questions. The other review stating she was like Rozz from Monster's Inc is spot on.
Antiny Mous: You are nothing but a number to this greedy practice.Immoral billing procedures include charging more than $300 for a basic evaluation, not necessarily including prescription services and entitled, tight-lipped communication that fails to shed any light on their exorbitant surprise fees, even to uninsured or inadequately insured patients asking for fair treatment and basic respect. Don't bother trying, there's little decency to be found here.Don't waste your time, money, or patience- your mental health matters, that's why it's vitally important that you never go here.Even if you were referred to this office, find somewhere else. You are better than this disdainful dump. I wish the best for you. I hope you get well soon, it's a long journey, but worth ever step, no matter how much it hurts. The treatment I received was adequate, but every practitioner in this office is at fault for profiting from their disgusting billing and service, and cannot be redeemed by their expertise.Have a nice day!Sincerely,AM
Chris Galvan: The woman who answers the phone is the RUDEST, LAZIEST, and most OBNOXIOUS medical worker our family has ever dealt with. She's like that troll "Roz" in the animated movie Monsters, Inc. She even sounds like here. She has never just answered the phone with any level of politeness. "Doctor's office hold!" You go on hold, then get someone else, then placed back on hold, then she comes back and wants you to explain your question or request again, and then she interrupts you and talks over you arguing about everything. Everything is an inconvenience to her. After seven years of our son seeing a doctor there, she claims there is no "guarantor" and she believes it's okay to illegally bill a minor, and then she hung up on me. She's just as rude in person. We stayed with this practice because we liked Dr. David so much, but enough is enough. We are DONE.
Margaret Browning: Very helpful , he cares about his patients well being and is always nice and friendly .
Laurenne McDougall: He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He had his mind made up about an incorrect diagnosis before even speaking with my loved one. I recommend seeing someone else.
