Edmond Mui: Lowes doesn't like to give returns. Paid with PayPal and was told there was an issue with my PayPal account so they can't do the return, then called PayPal and was told there was no issue with my account or their system. Lowes clearly did not want to even try to resolve the issue until after I stood there waiting on the phone with PayPal for over 15 minutes. Then magically they said they can process it all of a sudden. Also noticed they returned less than what I paid on the original transaction. Not going back to deal with that BS. Very shady and deceiving practice. Waste of my time and horrible service. Better to shop at Home Depot.Update: Called customer service because after 3 weeks my funds still were not returned after the initial issue of the return in store. After speaking to the representative basically was told nothing could be done on their end since the transaction has been processed. Even though I gave back all the merchandise in store they did not want to return the funds and were completely rude about the situation and clearly did not want to help. Lowe's is just being a straight up crook at this point. Definitely never shopping here again.

TONE CENTRAL: The staff is very courteous

Shahid Bashir: I am a frequent shopper at this location and have a Lowes Credit Card account. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous, except for today when I had to return an item which I had purchased last week. I had the misfortune to be served by Kelara, who turned out to be the most inefficient, rude and downright stupid character. She refused to take back the item saying it was not from Lowes but some other store. I tried to explain to her a number of times but she kept interrupting and rudely repeated the same reason. When I insisted that she carefully check the item number, of course it turned out to be the correct one. She quickly credited the amount and walked away without looking back and did not have the courtesy or decency to apologize. After walking out of the store, I realized that I have to talk to the Manager and bring this staff's behaviour to the management's notice. The Manager was very courteous and assured me that she would talk to the staff. I understand that there is a shortage of staff, but Lowes should ensure that they hire someone with at least a high school diploma. This person has no business dealing with customers.

The older gentleman whose name is Michael helped me.I explained everything to him, gave him my receipt, the item and original box. He asked me if I wanted a replacement or refund. I wanted a refund so my son could pick up the newest model. Michael was so helpful and sweet that I told the manager on duty that Michael should train the new hires. I just love Home Depot.

As he interviewed me he continued to talk down to me and basically tell me that I wasn’t fit for the job at all and proceeded to tell me that when he was 19 years old he liked to party and so with me being 21 it wouldn’t be a good fit for me he also seemed very offended because I told him I worked part time at apple bees which Home Depot is part time so it shouldn’t have been a problem he told me it would work because he doesn’t like being put 2nd after I told him I would make my work schedule fit around each other very very unprofessional I will never even visit that place again

Matt Orlando: Everytime we go there we receive 1st class customer service from all of the staff. The store is always clean and well stocked. Whenever there is an item not on the shelf the staff is always willing to go the extra mile to see if they had more in the back.

KDawg: This Menards location is currently partnered with a sales firm called One Nation Consulting, a third party AT&T sales division run by very shady individuals. In addition to offering very sub par deals on internet and cable, they've also just outright refused to pay two of their former employees. I would advise avoiding them at all costs, and I'm quite frankly ashamed on Menards behalf. I can't imagine why any respectable company would be associating themselves with people who treat their employees so poorly.

Martin Trump: Beyond Excellent customer service! It's Christmas Eve, 3-degrees with no furnace and frozen pipes. A month ago I bought a nice big entertainment center that looks like a fireplace but has a space heater. I plug the unit in and it's faulty. I'm panicking. Called Menards in Warren and spoke to Chris the store manager. Explained my situation and that I cannot break down the entertainment center to return, plus I no longer have the box. Of course the store closes in an hour. Chris said remove the space heater and bring it in for exchange. I was in disbelief that he already had a plan in place. Further, Chris had a team already lined up and waiting for me. I really appreciated Kemond from plumbing, Mike from I think electrical and Colleen at Customer Service. Within minutes Kemond had a replacement while Mike showed me additional space heaters I wanted also. Colleen ran the Customer Service desk like a real pro, having my exchange ready and my additional purchase rung up. I really appreciated how organized and efficient the teamwork was, but what I appreciated the most is just how respectful and courteous everyone was. You don't get awesome service or help like this anymore. In short, I'm DONE bouncing back and forth from Home Depot and Lowes. I like Menards. I like those people. I'm going to Menards from here on out. Thank you so very much for everything you've done for me.

Fahad Al Kadhim: I blame the store general manager for not checking the staff while dealing with customers, they are VERY rude and not professional. I purchased an item yesterday but it did NOT work, so l tried to return it and purchase a better quality from the same store, instead of apologizing to me, the made it seems like they are doing a huge favorite to me. I personally will never ever go back to this store again. Note this is with the return staff only where l had this experience. PHILLIP WHITMORE: Worst store I've ever dealt with. I've been trying to get a replacement sash for a window I purchased off them a year ago. So it's been 2 broken windows, 2 wrong size ordered and currently window isn't in the location it was supposed to be. The manager in building materials pick up is useless and apparently he trained everyone else that works there also. Stay away at all costs.

John Kusmierz: Good prices and reasonable selection for home and yard products compared to the other big box home improvement chains. I recommend Menards. The stores also have home cleaning supplies and some grocery food products. They also run a 11% off anything in the store rebate around 10 - 11 months of the year and their prices are below or competitive already before the rebate. I always take advantage of the rebate to further reduce my expenditures. You receive a rebate check you have to use in the Menards store but I am a regular customer and the deal works out well for me.The following is a comment for the Menard management team. Although I appreciate the 11% rebate program I would like to see the program be updated to the 21st century. Instead of the need to snail mail in the rebate receipts, make it a program that can be done on line.😊

If you’re in the Macomb area this Menards will never let you down. Reasonably priced and they have anything you need, if it’s not in store you can find it online and have it shipped to the store! Overall great company to work with.

This was supposed to be delivered today between 10-2 after getting a 8:30 phone call this morning from them asking for the right address because the one they had was wrong and wasn't showing up in their maps. I gave them the correct address and the order never came. The best they could offer was a redelivery next Monday after I had already taken off work and had the guys here to do the construction all because my address was still wrong in their system.
