Ryan Hurst: Absolutely delicious ramen. Decided to check it out while I wad waiting to go to work. Couldn't be happier, staff was very nice. Drawing a blank on the staff member who waited on me, but they were very attentive and friendly, and made a great recommendation of getting the vegan ramen and adding a marinated egg and chicken. I did pork belly because I'm obsessed with the stuff, but honestly the vegan ramen is mind blowingly delicious, and adding the egg and meat took it to another level.
Kianna: The food is delicious except….The vegan ramen made my tummy hurt and it gave a terrible after taste :/ & don’t know why a marinated egg must be $2 extra. Kinda goofy. Also owner really should give the workers free food! They deserve it! We need more ramen restaurant options in the suburbs!!

Lana Smith: Honestly, the best ramen I've ever had. My waiter was Andre. This was my first time eating here and I was unsure of what to get. I wanted to play it safe and asked for the chicken (Shio) ramen. Andre suggested that I tried the vegan ramen and add chicken. Let me tell you... im glad I took him up on his suggestion. My taste buds danced with delight. He asked if I liked spicy (of course I do lol), so he also brought me a side of pepper sauce. It was the perfect addition to the thick, flavorful broth. If I could've sat there and ate the whole bowl, I most definitely would have lol. Thank you very much Andre for being so helpful and pleasant. You definitely made my first time experience wonderful. City Ramen is absolutely delicious!
Aria Layne: This place is amazing! I just went here with my boyfriend & my service dog! All the staff is incredibly kind & my kind of people- definitely fits the vibe of Royal Oak! I had the tonkatsu ramen and it is amazing- I’m having my left overs & it’s just as good as it was fresh! I’ll definitely be coming back here!
Eric Strebel: Absolutely delicious, love at first slurp! Of note is that they store their food in plastic tubs, and cook the food in aluminum pots. The plastic off gasses when hot liquids are poured into them, and the aluminum leaches heavy metals into the food, neither of which are healthy for humans. Switching to food safe stainless steel cook ware and storage containers will get me to come back. lLet me know when the switch has been made.

Kimberly Guiao: This place was amazing. The restaurant is super clean and well lit. The staff were very attentive and helpful with any questions I had. The food came out pretty quick and was amazing. I ordered the pork katsu with a side of beef curry, takoyaki...my hubby ordered the spicy peanut ramen with a side of fish katsu. We couldn't believe how delicious all of these were! The katsu was amazingly cooked; crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pork was served with a honey mustard dip and tonkatsu sauce. It also came with a cup of rice and a cabbage salad with sesame dressing. The fish katsu was served with a homemade tarter sauce. The takoyaki was a serving of 4 pieces but was cooked to perfection. There was no skimping on the octopus piece inside of it. I was so inpatient to eat it that I almost burnt my mouth but it was so good! My husband's ramen had gyoza and ramen eggs in it . I wish I could have ordered it too! I've never had spicy peanut ramen and it was so delicious! He shared one gyoza with some soup with me and I wished I could have eaten more. I can't wait to come back and am excited to do so!

Mike Fleck: The food from here is excellent, we’ve gotten carry out a few times now. However, the wait time for food is borderline unacceptable and the estimate for pickup given online isn’t even close to the actual time food is ready. I know it’s not just me because there is usually 2-4 other people waiting around for carry out along with me, when I have gone in. Maybe the dine in experience is better but the pick-up service leaves a lot to be desired.

michael c: I've had takeout several times, and the sushi is fantastic. The bulgogi is delicious, but sadly, the portion is quite small ( I'd estimate maybe 4-5oz or so) hard to justify almost 20$ for a kid sized meal. Most recently, I tried the beef teriyaki, and it was inverse compared to the bulgogi. The portion size was much more generous, but holy moly was it the TOUGHEST, DRIEST beef I've ever had. I don't know if its the quality of the cut they are purchasing or if the chef likes to overcook it, but WOW, was it hard to eat. All things considered, I'd recommend you come here for the sushi but avoid the entrees.

I then tried the LA crunch that had shells in it as well. I ended up spitting it out in the sink. For the amount they charge it was incredibly disappointing and overall disgusting. Leyla Heydon: I chose this spot based on the Google high rating. The place is quaint, service is rather quick, the staff is pleasant. I ordered speing rolls which were freshly cooked which was really good so I decided to order additional food. On the downside - I ordered the Ramen, the options were limited, there was not many options to add to the Ramen. I ordered a crab sushi roll as described on the menu as having cooked salmon atop however the crab was imitation and there was not whole salmon but a salmon salad mix atop, this was disappointing for the price. Overall, the food was decent.

Hollie Tanner: Amazing ramen! I got the spicy tonkatsu. I paid the $2 up charge for the smoker chashu which was delish, although maybe too bacon-y for my personal preference, but on its own was still sooo good. Broth flavor was excellent. Eggs were perfection! Not overly sweet like a lot of places. Wish I'd added more veg to my order, again personal preference. Can't wait to go back and try more. All of the staff is so friendly and warm. Instant favorite! Also ordered the philly roll and it was double the salmon compared to what you'd get other places, so you're getting your money's worth!

A Z: EDIT: I ordered carry out beef noodle soup (just the regular ane, not rice noodles), but this time the noodles reeked of ammonia smell. This tells me that either the noodles were cooked in alkaline water that was reused again and again, or something was direly wrong with the noodles. Idk, it was really off putting and made me gag.First visit:I tried the beef rice noodles soup, pork chive dumplings (non fried), and the 夫妻肺片and they all hit the spot. The rice noodles were a little thin compared to my expectations but there was a hefty portion of it and the broth and beef were super tasty. There was even turnip/daikon in the soup! I ordered the eggie itself (appetizer) and the yellow and red lover hand noodle dish. The appetizer came out after the entree, which was unconventional but I didn't mind. The entree had a lot of delicious noodles with a tomato sauce/broth and had ample amounts of egg and big pieces of tomato with thinly sliced carrot and cucumber as an accent. The portion size was large (I was really hungry ate the entire dish though and am full hours later). I would order that again in a heartbeat. The eggie itself I have always wanted to try something like it so I couldn't turn down the opportunity. I had only taken a few bites and saved the rest for leftovers because I was so full. I saved the extra tomato sauce and drizzled it over the eggie for a nice snack tomorrow. The only downside is they didn't offer tap water, only bottled water, but it was very affordable.Vegetarian options: They offer a nice variety of options and they are easy to identify.Parking: Free parking behind the building (where the entrance is) but the parking lot is a bit small as it is shared with other restaurants.

Robert Bridges: Really unique flavors
J L: Chill spot, with very quick service. We started with pork and chive steamed dumplings, edamame, and then ordered the beef noodle soup and pork with green pepper noodle plate. All in all, was very good. I did add additional seasoning to my soup, but the noodle dish was good as is! Edamame did seem over cooked but every else we had was tasty and satisfying. Looking forward to comeback

Kellie Saunders: I normally don't write restaurant reviews, but I definitely wanted to share the fantastic experience we had at Not Just Noodle today. My daughter and I are trying to try a new restaurant every week and I'm so glad we picked this place for this weeks adventure. What a cute restaurant with a really good vibe. First, it was very clean and we were greeted immediately with a friendly hello. We ordered four items and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh and a good value as well. I can't wait to return and try something new on the menu. The service was fast and friendly as well. I highly recommend, especially for a quick lunch.
