Family Nadeau: LOVE this place. Malaysian food...no I didn't know what that was either. It's in the Asian category but with some unique twists. If this is how Malaysian food is supposed to taste, I'm all in. Nasi goreng is the standard dish if you want to give it a whirl. Also, the water spinach is AMAZING. I'm actually writing a review about a vegetable side dish...trust me. It is that good. Spicy and slightly sweet. Family owned and well run.

For some reason, each time we order Beef for our proteins, they give us chicken. Twice, we found out when we got home and we had to come back to get the right order.This time, we checked the order before leaving the restaurant and once again, our order had chicken instead of beef. There might be an issue with training, but this is really annoying.

Well, it's just okay we ordered Extra Hot but seems like it's just mild, flavor of fish sauce was kinda strong, oily, appetizer size was small, compared to Thai Star price was kinda high and portion were kinda small too. We're the only customer but we didn't really get an amazing service, most of the time no one is around for us to ask for something and neither ask us about how the foods taste like. This was my first time here and might also be the last. Will definitely just try other Thai place instead.

Dave Roz: This is the BEST Thai restaurant in Troy imho. Appetizers are a bit small for the price, but all of the dishes deliver on taste and quality. Spice levels are a bit mild (at least on the day I went) so order a level above what you are used to. Medium Pad Thai had zero heat but still tasted amazing.

We arrived just before the inside seating got crazy. Take out business flowing fast. Another amazing meal. No picture (sorry), my family is giving me the business over my dood staging. I had a very bad experience then and was not able to overcome it until now. My son has been asking to try and he finally talked me in to it. My wife found Amy's and what a hidden gem. It's a smaller place (slightly bigger than the two or three table asian style takeout look of others.) It has a clean, fresh but not over done look, which I loved. Now to the best part. The food was absolutely, fantastically, awesome. Yes it was good enough to get a new word combo. The hot and sour soup that comes with the meal was very good and had a nice spicy warmth but not super spicy. I really don't prefer spicy foods although TUMS stock goes up if I do. Our main dishes were all fresh, hot (like just off the burner hot) and loaded with flavor. We were all able to get the spice level we wanted with no surprises. It seems lately like all of the Chinese places are becoming bland and flat with their flavors. Amy's did not have that problem at all. It is a little high price wise, but the food was well worth the cost. Checkout the pictures which show my Beef Pad Sew Ew, my wife's Pork Drunken Noodles, and our son's Pork Gang Gai (Red Curry)(medium spicy crazy kid.) If you love Thai food I'm betting you will love Amy's.Vegetarian options: Every dish that I saw had a vegetarian option. You choose the meat you want or tofu or vegetables.

Reina Rahal: we looked up on Google the nearest Thai restaurants to us and there It was , Bangkok cuisine , I went there with friends and family , it wasn't too crowded we wanted to try their pad thai ,I loved the decorations , their service , very friendly and fast. the food was great too , although could be a bit cleaner when it comes to serving their dishes . Thai food turned out to be pretty yummy .

Amanda: I placed a take out order from Bangkok today after having a craving for Thai food for a while. I was excited to finally have the opportunity to just splurge on take out.Boy was I really disappointed!I ordered 6 Crispy Rolls, Pad thai curry, and chicken fried rice.2 out of the 6 crispy rolls were rock solid!!! Not eatable at all! They would break your teeth hard! The fried rice, although flavorful, the rice itself was definitely dry. I called to let them know, and they made it seem as though I was lying. Stating that they served a table and theirs were perfectly fine. I even asked if they wanted me to put them in a zip lock and show it to them. Unbelievable. They mentioned they would credit me for those 2 rolls only if I wanted to come back but at this point I was just like no.Sadly, I'm going to have to find me a new Thai restaurant in the area.
