Better Health Market: what do users think?
James Williamsen: I am just learning about vitamins an
Cheryl Lynn: Just went to this store earlier today.I love how they remolded it.
Sue Ulbrich: Be very careful buying items here. They don't take off shelf when item is expired. I went to buy two different items yesterday. One expired in January and one in December!!! That is really poor. Not sure I will be back.
K T: I should’ve trusted my gut and not stopped here after reading the other reviews. This place is much smaller with less variety than the other stores. Not sure if the guy there was a manager but he couldn’t even bother to greet his customers. The cashier was less than pleasant as well. I inquired about the 20% off (non sale items) that I ALWAYS automatically get upon checking out at other stores and was asked if I had a coupon. I told her I didn’t because I thought it was automatically applied if you’re a member. She said NOONE does that and acted like I was crazy for asking. The coupon is in the monthly sales paper, which was probably feet away near the entrance but she couldn’t be bothered to type in the code to give me the discount. I’m tempted to return the $100 of items purchased. And won’t be returning to this location afterwards.
Michelle Davidson: Newly remodeled and carrying a pretty good variety of vitamins, supplements, body care, healthy snacks, and even fresh food items.
Chris Walker: So I came to the store looking for a quality probiotic, I was sold a refrigerated kind and on day two I was reading the package and it was expired by months!! I called and they said it was still good, it’s just a suggestion.. we’ll I spent 50 dollars on expired goods, and can’t find the receipt, didn’t think I’d need it as I made an account with them… one let down after another! Better to just buy online, less hassle and digital records! Hope this review helps newcomers!
G G: They send a mail out of flyer to my house every month, it has a coupon for savings on it always, it's used to draw you in, if you forget to bring it you don't get the discount no matter how many thousands of dollars you have spent there. Irritating. Why not a card like Kroger or PRACTICALLY EVERYWHERE ELSE! , I'm not cheap but if I can save 20% and knowing I can't get it because of a microscopic technicality that they themselves create, problem solved , I can shop somewhere else.
JQ Fernandez: Out of all locations I shop at, this is by far fumbling the ball. I shop at this location for convenience. After my most recent shop, I won't be returning. Obviously management needs a reboot.
Annette Spagnuolo: Lots of gluten free food
Terrance Hill: I called and spoke with someone named Maria. I asked if had any Oil Of Oregano. She said yes I asked the price she said she doesn't know the price and hung up in my face after I asked if she could check for me poor customer service. I hope management at least speaks with her because I'm sure she treats others like this also just running business away unnecessarily.
Jackie Morley: I am a frequent Better Health shopper in Grosse Pointe and have been to the Hall Road location a handful of times. I work approximately 3 minutes from here and would go more often for lunch were it not for the rude staff. Just today, I introduced a colleague to this market and was excited to share all of the great product they sell! However, after smiling and saying hello to the red-haired, teenager cashier, she was so rude it actually put a damper on the entire visit. This isn't the only time the employees have shown blatant, unsolicited rudeness. I typically order a smoothie from the deli when I visit and they are also rude. I can't quite understand what the issue is at this facility but I hope anyone who experiences this same issue will please try the location on Mack. The staff there are extremely pleasant and helpful.
Mel Slagel: Great customer service.
lyutsin21: I have been experimenting with making bread from scratch, mainly so I can make it without salt. I wanted to try an ingredient called Vital Wheat Gluten. Meijer, the store I buy a lot of my stuff from, didn't have it. I checked the internet. I saw an advertisement for the ability for Instacart to buy it from a Better Health store. I first went to the Better Health location on 13 mile, just because it was on my way to my parents house. They didn't have it. I called this Better Health location. Unbelievably they said they had it. I came to the store. I bought a 20 ounce package of Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten... this place lacks the organic produce I saw at the 13 mile location... I only bought the one ingredient. I saw a lot of expensive organic and gluten-free products, grain-like stuff like crackers and cereal, a big vitamin section, other stuff I would eat in theory if it was cheaper... but if the Vital wheat gluten works I will be back next time I need another package of it...
Uni B: Great selection, friendly staff
Jimmy Fakouri: solid place
Dylan Brews: I felt racially targeted while shipping in this store. I love my experience with Better Health but this store I won’t return to. No one greeted me, they were condescending, and to add insult to injury while the young lady was “watching” me she never opened her mouth. The cashier Marie couldn’t have been bothered until I said I’ve gone to the one on Hall Rd. Ladies let’s not forget we live in a world of constant review so if you’re going to “follow me” and “racially profile me as someone who may commit theft we aren’t as woke as we should be.
Michael Mansour: Excellent people, very friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable.
Cortez Bradley: Poor customer service, felt rushed, and unpleasant.
Lin: They have a small selection versus other better health stores. Prices are high (even higher than Whole Foods) and I have received at least 3 moldy bags of vegan cheese shreds from them. Idk if it's this locations specific refrigerator or what but its a problem.
Tonya Elder: Convenient, knowledgeable staff, friendly
Michelle Cooper: I love this health food store and they give free sample's I have a new item I will try thanks to the free sample

Babylon Fruit Market: what do users think?
Hadel Naji: They sell the best vegetables and fruits, and a lot of stuff.
nadin Kasmikha: Great place! The new owners are great and nice along with the staff. They have the best yogurt and bread. Definitely will go back again.
charming: Worst customer service I’ve ever had. They are very rude I purchased cheese it was expired and when I asked them for refund they refused .. I will never go back again
Aa Aa: Just be careful they will try to steal from you or giving you a bad product or expired. The staff is not professional at all and the way they dealing with customer is very bad they lied to me and the manager and the owner do not want to admit it. End of the day just do not deal with them and keep your business with somewhere else that appreciate and respect you as a customer. They are the worst ever.
ayham azhar: The worst market ever with everything. Not professional business at all. Everything is not clean. Employees are the worst. Bread is like rubber and dry out within couple hours. My advice not to try them at all. Very bad place.
zeyad hama: Love the new management. The store looks much better then before.
Ramsin Danial: Amazing customer service! great selection of products.
Romeo Danial: Great produce!
The Praised: Amazing fruits loved the cherries!
Dali Ben: Love there freshly made yougert
Michaol Lucka: This grocery store has progressively gone downhill.1st off the girl running the register kept on stopping my order to answer texts on her phone. She did this 3 times while I was checking out, how pathetic. Then when you ask the manager where a few items are, he seems annoyed he has to even answer. Also too many flies around the dried fruit. After the cashier stopped to answer texts on her phone, ill never shop here again. And I've been coming here on and off for 20 years.
Star *: Great place & nice people
Eshtar Oraha: Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. They don't act pretentious or have their noses in the air. This is the only place I purchase my homemade yogurt (liban) from. The thick layer of cream skin is so delicious and such a treat. But the best part about the yogurt here is that when they make it they slightly burn the pot of milk so it adds this incredible smokey flavor that just makes it absolutely perfect. You can't find this anywhere else. If you've never tried Iraqi yogurt before get it from here, you won't be disappointed.
RANGER S: The staff here is great. Big helpful smiles. The breads, fresh and amazing. Sometimes the fruit has fruit flies, so ALWAYS wash your fruit no matter where you get it from. Watch an episode of ‘MONSTERS INSIDE ME’. You’ll be washing your store bought fruit every time. But the customers in here leave a lot to be desired. Some are just pigs. I’ve had men take cuts in front of me. It’s like you’re not even there. The meat counter; well for one thing the butcher can’t speak English. The second thing, everything there is covered with blood. The handles on the freezer doors, smeared with blood. The butchers apron loaded with blood. I just wonder if the health inspector has been by recently?Lastly, never, NEVER buy the mixed olives, pickles, beets, baby corn etc., from the open salad bar thing in front of where the Iraqi bread is baked. On more then one occasion I have witnessed bare hands & fingers help themselves to the pickles, olives, and beets. I saw a man with a cigar in one hand (between fingers) shift the cigar over to the other hand and then his smoking bare hand goes in for a beet which he immediately gulps down (I saw him help himself over & over again while waiting to fill his bread bag)! Just yesterday I witnessed an older lady go in the olives for her free sample. I said rather loudly”that’s gross!” Then I asked her “Would you buy those olives if my bare hand took those olives?” She then waves her hand at me and says “I no speak English.” Well she understood something cause.shethen put a few olives into a plastic container and walked around the ,store munching away.So here’s my review in a nutshell: their baked bread is excellent, Their employees are always smiling and seem happy, they’re AWESOME! Their produce is win some, lose some with the freshness and fruit flies, Their relish/salad bar, STAY AWAY! Their butcher counter STAY AWAY. And their customers/clients, well you can’t make a silk purse with a sows hide.Have a good day!
Carl Schleicher: Small cramped store but found some good things. I will go back.
Jon H: Be careful they try to steal from you when you pay cash. My total was 3.49. I gave them 100.00 and she returns me 95.51. When i called her out on it she made it seem like it was a mistake. This happens a lot at chaldean markets. I am also chaldean but I actually work hard for my money. Place was also very dirty and they were blaring the arabic music. This is a grocery store or a wedding?
DETROIT BLACKQUEEN: I did expect a little more fruitIt's a real small store but I did find my dates and yellow plums😁😁😁😁
life with lina: I feel like the prices could get lowerd anyway it is a good place
Marius Esho: Nice people
Yvonne Champagne: Protect your purse and especially your phone there's a local phone theif posing as an honest businesses man. He stole one of our phones 3 months ago and our private dick says he the theif makes regular trips to this fruit market so people. ... keep a close eye on your $500 phones.
Hali Abona: place is amazing , great fruit , great bakery section , fresh meat everydayvery clean and organized , staff is very friendly and helpful, really good pricesI will defiantly go back againI very recommend the place to everyone

Kroger: what do users think?
PG: Warning - May 11 2023DO NOT BY 1.99 CHICKEN BREAST ON SALE. I TOUCHED THEM AND CANT GET THE SEWAGE SMELL OFF MY HANDS.TOLD MEAT DEPT BUT IN CASE THEY DON'T REMOVE IT I THOUGHT I'D WARN EVERYONE
Oddnonymous Gaming: Don’t have ignorant people working if you want more customers. Get apple pay and youd get more customers. Have ACTUAL fresh fruits/veggies youd get more customers.
D Bennett: Love this place!
Ralph Hummer: This is the most garbage. Had a legitimate about them over charging me. The manager told me she was too busy to help. Take your money somewhere else the store has been garbage scents it opened
Elijah Kilgore: Wonderful store, they just need to check their expiration dates more often on "fresh foods" and they need to have a better training session for their cashier's.
James K: Good selection of organic food.
Mark Bidinger: How can this place be so large and filled with nothing?! I shop Kroger at Canal and Schoenherr which is half the size of this place but manages to have twice the inventory. They have a huge meat counter here with 3 cuts total of beef in it. Their prepackaged beef section is about 6 linear feet long with nothing in it. Every section I needed was lacking. Produce options were abismal. Dairy section has half the options of other Krogers. Deli and cheese stations were severely lacking and overcompensated with loads of the same products to look more volumous. The canned veggie section, frozen foods, pantry and snacks, everywhere I went I felt id have better luck finding what I needed at a gas station than in here. I blame management, not current economics. I stopped here because it was closer to where I needed to be. Never again, I'll stick to Canal and Schoenherr or Garfield. This place is worthless
Geni Zeroni: Found it very odd how when I went through self service I requested a tabaco product and a lady with bright red hair quickly rambled she was not the attendant while standing at the attendant podium with the other attendant and could not help me then she literally went to get it which would’ve been cool had she not quickly basically said don’t ask me even tho I work here smh bad vibes lady
Latrice Hall: This is my fav location I just hate they have no baggers
Jason Worden: I'm hoping someone at Kroger can tell me why a Kroger Box Truck was driving on the sidewalk between my apartment and the clubhouse fence today 3/12 at 7:25 PM ....46280 Dequindre Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48317
Kendall Bourcier: I’ve had a lot of problems with this store lately. The bottle return bins are always full and when we asked one night when they were going to be emptied the person running customer service said nobody was going to empty them for the rest of the day. They just flat out refused to do it.This store very rarely has any baggers, so we always end up bagging all our own groceries (and usually only 2 or 3 registers open). It’s a massive store and always packed, but they don’t bother to open more registers? On top of that, the staff is really hit or miss. The employee working the register I was at today (Marca) refused to talk to me and when scanning a box of my food she sent it flying onto the ground and didn’t even bother with a “sorry”. She just picked it up and pretended like it didn’t even happen. The item is fragile too, so I’m sure when I open the box it’ll be smashed to pieces. I should have asked her to take it off my bill and return it since it was damaged, but she was so unfriendly and unapproachable that I didn’t want to deal with it.This store doesn’t care at all about customer service. If there’s another one closer to you, you’re better off going to that one.
J D: Don't bother -- they close the store doors whenever they want to. Hours say until 10? Door is locked at 9. Trash cans in front always full. Shopping carts are not collected regularly and are scattered throughout the lot....and then there are the checkout lanes? Some days they'll have enough open.
Thaer Ghaeb: The pharmacy always does not prepare medicines for the disease and they make excuses to get rid of the disease. I have not seen anything worse than this miserable pharmacy. I do not recommend dealing with these people.
Roger Stewart: Kroger Marketplace good selection. Happy and friendly employees.
rob hall: How in the world are they only going to have two registers open at the busiest times of the day? And what happened to the baggers? I go here at least twice a week and I haven't seen more than two baggers bagging at the busiest hours, I can't even count the times ive had to bag my own groceries. See signs of them hiring all the time, where are they putting people? Definitely not putting people on bagging or cash registers. Seems they just want people to use the self checkouts so they don't have to pay cashiers. Sorry, but asking people to use self checkouts when they have a full cart of groceries is ridiculous. Less and less cashiers is definitely saving them money when you see them spending millions of dollars on new stores. Prices keep going up, but new stores opening...hmmm, definitely making money on those increases. And for the love of God, please keep the bottle return machines working, so tired of coming in there and only two machines working and nobody around to fix them. And customer service desk is getting worse as well, I don't remember a time I've come in there and haven't seen a line at that desk wasn't wrapped around by the holiday section. How about keeping more employees there instead of opening more stores?
Kevin Griffin: Kroger Marketplace elite customer service! Honestly thought he would've said to go buy a new one!
Betty McCauley: Kroger Marketplace big store with friendly and helpful employees.
Nathan Zhang: Great store.
Erica Novakoski: I love this Kroger so much that it makes it hard to go anywhere else. I buy mostly organic and they have the best selection around. The wait time at check-out tends to be much better than other grocery stores nearby. They also have a Kroger gas station at the other end of the parking lot - love getting my gas there, much lower price thanks to the points!
Byron Convery: Kroger is always a great place to shop, clean and friendly.

Dream Market (15 Mile Rd): what do users think?
Lolo Ali: اكثر من روعه
Krystal Long: I love the vibe of this store! Their produce section is vast and the even have a whole selection of Indian spices, whether jarred or bulk! So much to choose from in any of their bulk bins from nuts, to spices, to sweets! I only wish their frozen dessert freezers held items that were not freezer burned on the outside of the products and were colder on the inside of the freezer. I just hope if the freezers are down, they mark it accordingly so that no one makes a purchase from them and potentially gets sick! Every time I go into this store, is an experience.. a great one!
delores williams: They always have sales
S K: Good place to do shopping.
Heath F: Nice market just wish they had different meat selections.
Zineh Dhahi: A wonderful school, the teachers are very nice, they care about the children, the school activities, and the teaching there is excellent
Sagir Ahmed: Excellent place they sell Certify Halal Meat. hopefully they can work on the price little bit better that would help the community lot.
Mustafa Salam Abdullah: Great delicious authentic Iraqi food, helpful staff, very reasonable prices and variety of options of halal meat to choose from
Merian K: That’s what u guys sell to people ? All you guys care about is money not people’s health, this is not the first time it happened to me I don’t have my receipt this time but next time this happens to me I will be taking it to the health department.
Rand Alnasseri: مكاني المفضل

Meysam Akbari: Perfect place for Middle East products. Everything is fresh and prices are cheaper than other counterparts. Love it
Mazhar Khan: This is a shopping center with great produce and grocery.
Yurii Snihur: Good 👍
ala al-kajela: A clean and well-organized place, but a little crowded. You can find everything here. I like the idea of having a variety of cheese and olive oil. Some prices were reasonable and others were not.
dilek sagir: !!!Label prices and sales prices are not the same!!! You have to check your receipt!!!

Amy's Thai Food: what do users think?
Antonina Strazimiri: The food is delicious, the service is kind and friendly, and they were accommodating and helpful regarding a vegetarian/picky eater in our group.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options as well as being willing to alter dishes as needed.Parking: Parking is directly out front with a handful of spaces.
Blackheart Lives: Mothers Day at Amy's. It was requested and a treat. Our neat little local treat has become a little more well known. That's great for this awesome family, but it is becoming hard to get a seat. I really am hoping that they expand some day soon.(03/07/23) just another GREAT day eating in at Amy's Thai. Everyone enjoyed what they had. I have been trying different things and again my meal was awesome. I had pad cashew nuts with beef as my protein (mild) and WOW is all I can say. My wife had the pad thai curry with chicken (mild) and as usual loved it. It's simply awesome food and yes everything can be made vegetarian. (12/29/22) Really busy tonight. We arrived just before the inside seating got crazy. Take out business flowing fast. Another amazing meal. No picture (sorry), my family is giving me the business over my dood staging. I had the perfect Pad Thai with pork tonight. No Red pepper flakes and mild spicy. Loved the spring roll appetizer. Really.. just get here and try your favorite Thai food made fresh and "your way."Update to my previous review. Amy's is packing them in and churning out a good takeout crowd. If you believe in quality brings business then the crowd speaks to the food and service. Our food was still great and I just need to make sure I ask for no red pepper flakes. That was my fault, but once I scraped the flakes off I was fine. Still great and still recommend them (10/09/22.) Wow, Wow and Wow. I haven't been to a Thai food restaurant in easily 30 years. I had a very bad experience then and was not able to overcome it until now. My son has been asking to try and he finally talked me in to it. My wife found Amy's and what a hidden gem. It's a smaller place (slightly bigger than the two or three table asian style takeout look of others.) It has a clean, fresh but not over done look, which I loved. Now to the best part. The food was absolutely, fantastically, awesome. Yes it was good enough to get a new word combo. The hot and sour soup that comes with the meal was very good and had a nice spicy warmth but not super spicy. I really don't prefer spicy foods although TUMS stock goes up if I do. Our main dishes were all fresh, hot (like just off the burner hot) and loaded with flavor. We were all able to get the spice level we wanted with no surprises. It seems lately like all of the Chinese places are becoming bland and flat with their flavors. Amy's did not have that problem at all. It is a little high price wise, but the food was well worth the cost. Checkout the pictures which show my Beef Pad Sew Ew, my wife's Pork Drunken Noodles, and our son's Pork Gang Gai (Red Curry)(medium spicy crazy kid.) If you love Thai food I'm betting you will love Amy's.Vegetarian options: Every dish that I saw had a vegetarian option. You choose the meat you want or tofu or vegetables.
Lisa Schlueter: I bought the Pad Sew-ew with shrimp. Fresh large shrimp and broccoli but wish the see ew noodles were wider.
